A devious grin spread across the Daeva's face. "Good job." She leaned into the kill and tore into it. After swallowing the chunk she eyed him. "Me? Live here? No." Though, she did live close. But not close enough to hide the kill. "We can split it. I'm not the one to waste a good meal." Sayre went back to her rabbit and kept eating.

He nodded. "Well, I live here." He mused, looking at her. "Though I don't mind if you stay for a bit." He admitted, finishing his meal before Sayre and sitting back, yawning. He eyed her, then looked away, grumbling lowly.
"Sayre, why don't you hate me?" He questioned, raising an eyebrow. "I've been nothing but an a** to you." He asked, tail flicking. What the hell was wrong with him? His yellow eyes widened very slightly before he hid his face with his tail.

She repeated the question in her mind. She knew the answer. Or atleast she thought she did. " Its.... Complicated." First off, she really wasn't a hateful fox. Second, she was very intregued by Jack. Ever since she met him she wanted to learn more about him. She sighed. "To but it bluntly. I don't hate you... Because..." Sayer eyed the male hiding with his tail. "Because I like you."
She sat a little closer to Jack. "If you are wondering why, is that when I first met you I was interested in you, just because you were different, you hair was different, your eyes were different, you aura was different. At first I wanted to study you like you were a gem, but you aren't in a way. You a unique, one of a kind. That's something I really like about you."
She felt awkward letting out what was on her mind. But she continued. "When I started to get to know you more I realized that there was alot more. On the inside..." She shuffled her paws and doodled on the earth as she talked. "I figured your 'assyness' was just you at first. But then I saw some softness. So then I thought it was just a front.... still do. Cause I can sense deep down you are a nice guy."
She layed down and wrapped her tail around. "Now let me ask you this..." She looked at him closely. "Why did you save me that night." gulped, her throat was tight, she didn't know why. "I could have died and been out of your fur."

Jack listened to her, eyes widening when she moved. His tail kept hiding his face, not letting up even as she spoke. When she mentioned she liked him his face turned to look to the side. What did she mean by like him? Hell, did it matter? When she finished Jack just blankly stared at the ground for a good minute before finally looking at her.
"I don't know." He grumbled. "I wasn't going to let a fox die." He added, ears flicking backwards slightly. "Even if said fox kept staring at me like I was something she could steal."
((Short, sorry.))

"Well, I'm glad you did save me." I'd miss you too much. Sayre lowered her head. "Well, uhm... hehe.." She shuffled uncomfertably. Jack was something she wan't to steal. She wanted him to be with her. She really did like the male. But she didn't think that the feelings were mutal. And she didn't wan't to risk anymore, inspecially after what she just said.

Jack raised an eyebrow, tail flipping back and forth. She had trailed off, and laughed. What was she going to say? "What? Why are you laughing? Somethin' on my face?" He touched his face, searching for something she could be going "hehe" at, like she just had been. When he didn't feel anything he blinked at Sayre, now moving in a circle to see if he had something on his tail or back paws.
"Seriously, somethin' on me?"

Sayre laughed a bit. "Theres nothing on your face." She smiled. "Trust me." She stood up. "I was laughing because I can." What are you gonna do about it... Hmmm?" She raised a brow at him. Better not hide under your tail again.

He raised an eyebrow at her, watching her before poking the ground. "Then I'll laugh at you." He snapped back, smirking slightly. At what though? Hm. Her....her.... her ability to... dammit! What could he laugh at?!
Her face! Yeah! Her fa- Wait, he didn't want to laugh at her face... She was... shut up! He didn't think that! No way! Not him! Never!

"Oh Really?" She got into a loose pounce position, eybrows raised. "What are you going to laugh at hmm?" Her tail wagged in the air and her nose wrinked as she grinned. "Admit it. You don't have anything to laugh at." She smirked at Jack, just waiting for his comeback.

"This."
He watched her, and suddenly he snapped. He moved closer, pushing her into the nearest solid object and kissing her. That was it. That was just it. He withdrew shortly after, eyes narrowing slightly, and then he smirked. It wasn't a cruel one, wasn't a mocking smirk. No, it was rather a kind smile, as best as he could muster. Then, he sat on his haunches, stretched, and eyed her.
"You can punch me if you want."

As soon as he kissed her, she felt like she was blacking out. Her heart stopped, she couldn't breathe, her eyes closed. When the kiss was over she slid down from the wall. At first her mind was blank, like... what happened. Then she saw him, his smirking smile. The she punced on him, pinning him against the ground. She snarled once. Then returned the kiss.

"WHAT THE HE-"
Jack was shoved down, punched, and then silenced with a kiss. He managed to slip away a few seconds later, stunned and absolutely confused. "What the hell was that for?! I mean the punch! Either you kiss someone or punch them, not both!" He spat out blood, having bit his inside lip, and looked at her, taking two, then three steps back. Wary of being punched again.
"W-Wait, does that mean you like me or that you were just punishing me?"

Sayre felt a little bad that Jack was spitting out blood. But for kissing him. No. "Come here." She grabbed a small clean leaf and pressed it against his lip. When she felt the leaf was secure and the bleeding stopped a bit. She backed up, her chest puffed out slightly, in an alluring way. "For all you know I could love you. Then again it could be a punishement." She smiled and smirked. Messing with the boys mind was amusing.

He approached her, allowing her to fix his lip. He held the leaf with a paw, eyes glaring at her, then suddenly flicking to look at the ground. "So which was it?" He questioned, tense. He was ready to hear her say it was a punishment, ready to turn around, spit out an insult, and walk off to lick his hurt ego and pride. God dammit, why? Why was he feeling this way? Why did he hope it wasn't just some stupid game from her?
Because. He played games, and he knew how it felt. He didn't want this to be some damn game, some damn fake moment. Jack would truly be bitter if it was.

Sayre smiled. "I will tell you this." She leaned in and whispered in his ear. "It was no punishment." She gently kissed his cheek and blushed slightly. She wanted to say 'I love you.' But she felt like she wasn't ready for it. Jack needed to know her son. Her past. There was still alot to do before she could say it.
