[Zeta One Enters Traveling @ Sat 12:38pm PST - towards Abandoned Town]

She was quite sure she was lost. Like, really lost. After she shot off after Bones, she'd lost him. She wandered through the fog, letting a pair of footprints be her guide.

She was still a long way off though. One let out a sigh. She'd abandoned her teammates, but what was she going to be able to do, realistically? She could either hit herself with her nunchucks, or the people around her, or the Reaper itself, but that was it.

The number of 'One" didn't seem to fit her anymore.

She was a follower, a meek girl, a liability. It was a wonder she wasn't dead right now, but perhaps that was just luck. One was timid, she was scared, and she just wanted to get off the island.

Thought part of her was starting to realise, she probably wasn't going to be able to do so alive. She was the weakest link. She was the unneeded person of the group. Everyone else was stronger than she was.

She felt very alone.

Behind her mask, her face felt wet as water rolled down her cheeks. She was crying. Crying because she couldn't be strong, crying because she was scared, and crying because she just wanted to get out of the nightmare.

A small plan formed in her brain. If her only 'guaranteed' way off the island was to die... perhaps, she'd have to think about that more.

She followed the foot prints, joined by another pair in silence.

Her feet ached, her eyes were heavy with tiredness, and she was bored out of her skull. She let out a groan of annoyance. Just how far away was this place anyway!?

After walking for what felt like an eternity in this damned, landmark obscuring fog, Zeta nine could finally begin to see shadows of buildings. This better not be a goddamn hallucination her brain has created out of sheer boredem and exhuastion. No, as she drew closer the shadows became more distinguishable. Buildings. What could once have been recognised as civilization.

"Finally. 'S'about time" she mumbled to no one. Looking behind her, she could have sworn she could see figures in the fog. But the shadows were too far away and too distorted to tell. Were they teammates? Or enemies? Or just trees. Nine considered waiting to see if they were indeed people, but if they were enemies she was an easy lone target. Gotta get into the town and amongst others. The zeta girl turned her back on the route she had just come and entered the haze covered town.

Bones had felt the unease of following eyes for some time now, though they appeared far off and non-threatening. For now. Surely it was a teammate, some kind companion in the cruel environment of the island, surely. He wouldn't allow himself to think otherwise just yet. If push was going to come to shove and he'd have to beat his way through some dark apparition in this fog he was hoping there would be some rhyme and reason, that is to say, place and time for such an attack.

The ground was solid now, the sand giving way to compacted dirt and even now, grass. Well, what might be grass. Bones didn't bother to take time to smell the roses grass, he was more interested in the destination rather than the journey. Which he believed was probably contrary to the point of living the rest of the days out, but he had to be there for the others. His team... damn he wished they were all together making the journey.

"Maybe it's best I scout ahead." He said quietly, listening to the rather mechanic feel to the words as they resonated up through his gas mask. His eyes jerked to the side as he approached the town. He could see dilapidated rooftops from afar and the fog suddenly giving weigh to the image of the abandoned town before him. He'd finally arrived.

Zeta Ten kept walking. She hadn't found Bones yet, but she knew she would if she headed to the abandoned town. The surrounding area was barren, creepy, but it was a little bit better than being stuck on that beach. Or... it would have been if she hadn't been alone. Hopefully she found a friendly face soon.

As the day wore on, she kept a lookout, but never passed anyone she wanted to see or stop to speak to. Most people, she knew now, were untrustworthy. That was why she was following the only person she had found she could trust so far. Besides, he didn't have a weapon. Someone needed to try to find him for his own protection, or so she told herself.

By the time the light was fading from the sky, she made it to the outskirts of a town. She had made it to the abandoned town, which was obvious by the state of disrepair in the buildings. Destination reached. Now, she just needed to find Zeta Six, the now proclaimed Bones, and the others that escaped that blood bath and start a new team.

It was rather nice to be able to follow the fading footprints of his allies toward their destination rather than wandering around like headless chickens. Not to mention traveling with support, as he stepped in line with Thetas 2 and 9. Much better than traveling alone, paranoid to the point of insanity.
The enemies of yesterday will be the friends of tomorrow.

He didn't even realize that the one named Thyme was with them at first, he was a little too quiet for Seven's taste, at least in his mind.

"So are we going to sing songs, or play "I spy" in the fog as we go along our merry way?"

(And so begins Zeta Sevens travel to the abandoned town, will expand this post when he wakes up)

[ Theta Two entering thread, en route to the Abandoned Town. ]

After awhile, she'd stopped counting the footsteps, and instead, began to walk in them herself. For the first few moments it was silent, leaving her to her thoughts. What would they find following this trail? Where would they go? Was Bones even there, or had he altered his course somewhere along the way? She tried to find answers to the questions that plagued her mind, to cure herself of listening to the endless list of what-if's and maybe-its-all-just-in-my-head's. Realizing her steps had ebbed into slower and slower strides, she took a few long skips to catch up and walk side by side with her new companion, humming softly to herself as they went. Who was he, she wondered. Who was he, what was his past life? Had he killed before? Would he kill now? Did he even find her interesting, or were they just sharing minutes in between tests and battles that might pit them against each other in the end?

Zeta Seven drew her out of her thoughts with ease, his voice easy enough to listen to, and distinctive enough to find. "I think I Spy would end in tragedy, my dear Zeta, unless you have such a keen eye as to spot every beastie in the fog." She teased loosely, her tone lilting into a slight laugh as she glanced to the side, examining what she could see of the gas mask clad face. "Singing songs sound fun, so long as you know Jasmine's part in A Whole New World, so I can sing to you as Aladdin." Her words lit with the spark of amusement, and she turned her steps into light footed strides for a few moments, as though flighty and nearing a dance. "A fitting song for around here, huh? I can show you the world ~ Shining, shimmering, splendid." She laughed, and settled into walking yet again. "Maybe not." She added as an after thought, leaning over a bit towards the other, fingers tangling behind her back.

"We could play Twenty Questions. Might not go far without memories, but its worth a shot, hm? Or theres always Concentration. Charades? Nah, that'd be a challenge while walking."
Theta two glanced over at the Zeta with a slight lull to her step. "But while we're at it, what should I call you? I hardly want to go around yelling greek words and numbers at your face."

Such a mundane experience, trudging through sand to an unknown destination. Mindless moving, left foot, right foot, repeat till you go insane.
They weren't even sure that they were following the right footprints, just as anonymous as their gas mask covered faces. Sure the map from what felt like ages ago said it was the right direction. But were they making the right choice? There was so much uncertainty abound, it made his feet heavier and heavier. At least there were the two others keep him from dwelling for long. Thyme and Number 2. There really was something to Number two. She was charming, witty. more human than the others. It was so enticing. What was she like before all this? Was she the same before they all lost their lives to the fog?

Theta two had such a light, airy tone that was a breath of fresh wind from the howling sand. And Thyme had a heart behind his wit to, How could Theta squad let go of such gems? He shrugged off whatever reason he could come with on their behalf, their loss was his gain. "You never know, I spy with my little eye, something that begins with the letter F." He chirped out before nudging her slightly, "Give it a shot you two." Seven started to blanch as Number two started o talk about singing seriously. "Aha, you know I was joking about that, this gravely voice ain't very lyrical." He muttered out shyly, pretending to look around for anything in the white shadows. 'Much less singing a female lead, you didn't sound so bad though." He joked back before leaving over to face Thyme. "How about you, can ya sing?"
He had to stop for a second to think about Two's latest question. "I don't know, I never thought about my name." he said honestly. a name, a replacement title for the one he forgot. He felt a bitter tang of grief , never thinking about the life he once had till now

[Alpha Eight is entering the traveling thread and headed for the Abandoned Town]

Fog dissipated slightly as he found the main path to the north. While this was miracle enough for the lost Alpha Eight, he noticed the ground was marked with footprints. The uniforms and armor kept them from being individually distinguishable, but they were footprints nonetheless. He felt a wave of relief wash over him. The battle had drained him and the discovery that his solo journey would at least have some form of direction was overwhelming. Alpha Eight hadn't felt this good since he first realized his worth as a medic. Yes, thing were finally started to look up. Now the only obstacle was to make his way north where the others were headed. He had only briefly seen the map twice, but the others footprints should be enough to guide him.

"Wherever everyone else went, I hope they aren't too mad. On the bright side, I really didn't even mean to disappear this time. Haha."

Oh good, he was laughing again. Things were really starting to look up. Right? Right. Eight just needed to keep himself in good spirits, regardless of the effects it would have on him later. A good grasp on sanity or not, he headed north for the Abandoned Town.

There was nothing but silence. One found herself out of sand and onto hard dirt, which made following the foot prints hard. But she did it anyway.

Her eyes had dried long ago, and all that was left was a moving shell. She was on autopilot as she moved, and moving slower than she should have. Her phone buzzed. She checked it. She placed it back.

One didn't care.

The messages were mocking, they were insane. She just wanted out of whatever this was. She just wanted out.

She found her way to the Abandoned Town, and kept walking, her only real plan was to find Ten and Six.

( I think I'm going to enter the game, and then move to Beaming Down afterwards <3 just so you know ; v ; bbb <3 /facedesk )

At first, the girl had counted her steps, the path to their destination long and seemingly unending. She'd become used to the fog and the fact that it seemed as though the sun had been lost ages ago. She grew uncannily fond of the times when she could see distant shapes in the mist, as though they might lead her somewhere new, somewhere where the clouds actually parted and she could see for miles and miles before being touched by the infuriating mist once more. But that was just a bunch of half baked hopes squashed into the back of her mind, pessimism tearing them apart before they were even loud and clear. Beginning to walk with a certain skip in her step, a rhythmic movement that took away the normal slouch-and-drag method that others seemed so fond of using, Theta-two glanced over at Zeta-seven, listening to the sound of his voice. She wondered briefly what he looked like under it; was he handsome, was he fair skinned? Was he tall and dark, was he long or short haired? It brushed up against her mind, accompanied by his words, and she made guesses in the dark, though none of them stuck for long.

"The letter F?"
She repeated with the lilt of a tease. A laugh spilled off of her lips. "My good sir, I don't think I'd know the answer if I guessed everything around. Do tell, cheri, just what indeed you spied." Her voice lowered into a soft hum of amusement, nudging him in return with a light jump to her step. It was the only thing keeping her sane and away from her own thoughts and twisted confusion, their light banter. It was the only thing that kept her safe from the darkness and instability in her own head. "I'm sure even the most gravely voice can hold a tune, cheri." She said with a lighthearted tease, "but dont worry, I wont force you to sing." Glancing around at the fog that surrounded them, the young adult began to forget that she'd been walking in the ghosts of what she hoped were Bones footprints. "I'm sure I've practiced, in one life or another." She smiled at the other, though he couldn't see it. "Thats the good thing about not remembering, yeah? You can make up whatever you want and believe it might have been true."

Pausing for a moment, she glanced over at the other, the air around her humming with a slight sober air. It was as though she was regarding him for a moment, curiously, and with faint intrigue. "Well," she started, beginning to walk again. "How about I call you Kirk, and you can be the capitano to Bones and I, yeah?" She laughed at that, and then turned her head, slowing her steps for a moment.

"... Hey, boyo,"
Theta-two finally said, stepping a few strides in front and turning to him, arms unfolding to either side. "I'll play your game. I spy with my little eye, something that screams adventure."

And then she turned, and entered the path to the beginnings of an Abandoned Town.

(Is also going to enter the game, then mosey over to Zeta six's location.)

Zeta seven shouldn't be having this much fun while fighting for his life. It was a serious situation, with deadly consequences, some of which they've all witnessed firsthand. So why was it so easy being around Theta Two? She was just something.... incredible. What was hidden under that mask? The girl with the velvety voice. Maybe Seven had a thing for accents. Then there was the suit, it didn't hide much of someones form, just enough.

He was never so glad to wear something that had a built in crotch plate.

That laugh that filled his ears should have been illegal, like adorable puppies and 25 foot tall ponies. "That's simple luv, I thought you would get it in a heartbeat." he told her in a low gravely rumble as he leaned closer. "Its fireworks." He joked back to her as he hung back a bit to put Theta 9 in a playful headlock. If only just to get a bit of room to breathe and settle the feelings that were bubbling inside. Feelings that shouldn't have appeared here. The worse feeling that could have struck him.

"True, but that tune might not be theater worthy, maybe one day, but not today." He said simply hoping that no random death musical would strike out of nowhere. Musicals of death island. "Guess we could just play one giant game of imagination, I'll be a firefighter."

Kirk.
It was simple, authoritative, powerful. "I like that, Kirk it is then, much better than being called by a number."

"I spy with my little eye, something that begins with adventure."
Is that so? he inquired with an arched brow.

"Not on your own your not!"

{ Theta Nine is entering the travel thread, heading toward the abandoned town. }

One sing-along and one headlock later, Thyme had promptly lost track of his traveling companions, and the fog led him a merry chase back down to the beach again. As he mustered up his courage for attempt number two, he really wasn't feeling too vexed about getting lost -- it did help him find Fedora, after all. Still, he would have liked to know that Tattoo and Zeta Seven were okay, wherever they were. More incentive to get his directions right this time around.

Speaking of Fedora, Thyme very much hoped it was her footsteps or those of the others on the beach that he'd hearing in the distance. Maybe he should've kept his pace slower after all, but he was already starting to realize that the fog did funny things to geography. As long as it wasn't an attacker, he was going to be fine. A little paranoia or a little loss of sanity were not especially worrisome. It was, he reflected, probably a prerequisite of being here, anyhow.

He swore he heard voices. Some louder than others with a slightly higher tone, but voices nonetheless. At first, Eight was hesitant to move in closer to them. Strangers were deadly and some of his former allies were even more of a threat. Alpha Eight couldn't risk it. No, he needed to watch his back for the time being since he couldn't very well talk himself out of every dangerous situation. That fact that he had barely scrapped by twice was nothing short of a miracle. Eight would have to continue to follow the footprints at a slower pace while making his way north.

"Not like anyone on the road needs a bandage anyway, unless it's for their swollen feet. Haha."

Oh no, more terrible jokes. An embarrassing moment for sure, but thankfully no one was around to hear it. Or at least he hoped so anyway. His horrible sense of humor did quickly pass the time and he soon found himself on the path to the Abandoned town. The only real indicator being the strange accumulation of the fog and the barely visible collection of figures in the distance. Fantastic. He could really do something on his own. Another small miracle.

(( Fedora is entering the travel thread! Heading towards the Abandoned Town Volunteer Game ))

Fedora traveled alone, keeping her head up and her eyes open for anything that might come her way.

She was left alone with her thoughts, and mulled over them for quite some time as she walked, making sure to follow the footsteps she thought were Thyme and Tattoo's.

As Thyme walked onwards, ever onwards, he became increasingly certain that there was someone behind him. It took a long while, with his thoughts riddled with self-doubt -- could it just be paranoia? Could it be a shadow creature? Could it be a fellow gas mask trooper playing predator?

Unwilling to be alone with his thoughts anymore, he turned around to face the direction he judged the footsteps to be coming from. If death truly were following him, he wasn't about to meet his end without confronting it face to face. "Hey," he greeted, cordial but guarded. Not the most original greeting, but he wasn't going to spout off a monologue at a shadow creature or a figment of his imagination. Come think of it, spouting off a monologue at a would-be attacker wasn't the smartest idea either.

He just wished he could see what he was dealing with here, but so far, the fog was stubbornly resisting his lazy efforts to fan it away. He vaguely hoped it wasn't another gas mask trooper. He suspected he was looking rather ridiculous at the moment.

But Fedora and Tattoo wouldn't mind, right? But no, best not to get his hopes up, not now. Stay wary, Thyme.

(( As a head's up, I won't be around tomorrow until around 5 pm PST, sorry. ))
