Calum started to answer the girl but she walked away before he could. He sighed and watched as the group slowly departed going their spreate ways without saying a word to each other. Calum was confussed. You'd think that with thier being only a hand full of people left that they'd be despreate for communication but maybe he was wrong. Calum shrugged his shoulders and decieded to just take a walk rather than push the buttons of these emotionally unstabled people.

Lance glanced at the new boy, and then watched Emily storm off. He shrugged and left, heading to the hinting shop for animal bait. He pushed the door open slowly, looking inside. He flipped the lights on, and only half of them came on. He walked to the bait section and stopped, terrified as some Mutant Cat jumped over his head and vanished. He grabbed bait of every kind, and stuffed them in his pockets. Then he snatched up the biggest, strongest net they had, and slung it over his shoulders. He hurriedly went outside and into the forest, warry of any other mutant monsters. He wove through the trees, until he found the perfect spot to set a trap. He laid the net expertly, using all of his experience as a hunter. He hid it neatly, then laid all the bait he had grabbed around the trap.... Whatever the beast are, it was sure to find something to eat here. He climbed up a tree several meters from the trap. He covered his scent with a spray, and pulled out his telescope, watching the trap. He saw something move forward. He tensed, hearing a low call unlike any he had ever heard before.

The trap snapped up, catching red. The wolf like demon got caught in the other trap, so that the two nets hung in the trees feet apart. The monster let out a low growl and sat down, seemingly calm. Lance jumped through the trees, holding his most prized knife in his hand. He leaned out to reds net, grabbing the top of it. He looked at red and raised his eyebrow. "what's the magic word?" he said quietly, smiling at her.

Lance smiled down at her. He took his wolf blade knife and slit the net, so that she could get out. Her then went around through the trees, almost seeming to vanish, before reappearing by the other trap. He cocked his head to the side, meeting the calm, bright eyes of the monster. He sat down on the branch he had been standing on, examining the creature. "what an impressive thing you are" Lance said, watching the beast as he flipped his prized knife around in his hand

Lance sat quietly, watching the creature. "beauty, no?" he said, looking into the eyes if the beast. It starred back, unblinking, unmoving, unemotional. Lance smiled, happy with his work. I wonder what it is.....

Lance leaned closer, so that his gave was inches from the net. "what are you?" he whispered, half expecting an answer. The creature shifted uncomfortably. It held his gaze steady, unwavering. "Why came a sift hiss of a reply. Lance's jaw almost dropped and he jerked back, thinking he had gone mad. The creature tilted it's head to the side, looking slightly confused.

"GUYS!" Emily ran up to them, "I've been looking all over for, is that what we were chasing earlier?" she pointed to the animal and tilted her head, she went and bent down closer to it, "Now that I get a close look at it, its sort of cute, your not too bad." she smiled and reached out her hand to pet its head but only met with its teeth. "OWWW!" Emily pulled her hand out of its mouth and looked at her hand, it was red. "Serves me right, I guess! But one of these days when we tame you, I'm going to pat your head and say good boy!" the creature only rolled its eyes in return. Emily sighed, "I feel stupid talking like this." she thought and remembered something, "Wait, you can't be Kyokie, could you? A pretty girl with silver hair is looking for you."
