Mitsu still had no idea where the money had come from but there wasn't much she could do about it. Besides, it wasn't like she had just random found money on the street....it was in her wallet. Very strange. "Well...if you still want something to eat I'll buy." Mitsu was far from hungry at this point but Blade had mentioned food earlier so he was probably hungry. It was the least she could do for dragging him all over the place.
"I appreciate you helping me look, even though we didn't find him." Maybe she could try looking again later or asking Bent about it. Maybe in a situation like this Shun would have contacted him.

Thankfully she didn't question it much. Though, he wasn't expecting her to offer to buy him food. Well, at least she'd still have a fair amount left over after their meal.
"Oh you don't have to," he said with a smile, "I have money."
If she was going to insist on it, he wouldn't argue, but Blade didn't think it was necessary to be treated.

"Its the least I can do for dragging you around with me...and helping me down the latter." While it sounded like a simple task it was really a lot of work. She was grateful that he had been patient and encouraging.
Leading the way back to the pub she had pointed out earlier Mitsu entered cautiously. It was a bit after dinner time so the pub was filled with people there looking to buy drinks and the like. There was lots of talking, laughing, and music that seemed to carry no matter where you went. As with the theme the inside still held an Irish flare to it, including the music and those tending the customers.

"Hey it's not a problem," he grinned while following Mitsu back to the pub. As they entered, he looked around to get a feel for what the place was like. It was pretty packed, which was always a good sign. Then again, they could always be there for the booze rather than the food. Though, it did smell nice inside.
"This seems like a pretty nice place," he said idly before they were taken to their seats.
"Have you been here before or will this be a first for the both of us?"

"No I've never been here before," Mitsu said, trying her best to speak loud enough to be heard. At her normal volume her voice would be nothing but a murmur in this place. "It just looked interesting."
Sitting at the table they were directed to, Mitsu looked over the menu. It was a bunch of stuff she had never heard of before. Chicken Kildar, Monte Cristo, and what was Irish rasher? Oh well, she would ask what was small that she could get. A lot of food would just go to waste.
"Hey, Blade..." Mitsu started. This was going to be a random question considering they had been on this topic a while ago but it was something that was still swimming in her mind. "Is it wrong...to want two people to get along? To try and get them to get along." She was worried now that she had tried too hard and it had upset Shun all the more in the end.

Looking over the menu, there were quite a few things that sounded good. Sheperd's pie sounded rather tasty at the moment. Hearing Mitsu address him, he glanced up from the menu before tilting his head at the question. It was kind of thrown out of nowhere, and he had to wonder what was the cause of it exactly. He had a slight suspicion it had something to do with Shun seeing how amiable the guy was with most people.
"I don't think so. It might not really work all too well sometimes but I wouldn't say it's a bad thing to try and make things work out," he replied, "Why do you ask?"

Mitsu sighed a little, while glancing at the menu. Really she wasn't looking at it so much as she was looking through it. "No reason I guess..." She had already burdened him enough with her problems and the like and it was really the first time they had spoken more than just a few words of greeting to each other.
"So what do you think sounds good?" She changed the subject back to something a little more on topic to now. "I have no idea what half of this stuff is."

For a moment or so, Blade stared at Mitsu, still wondering what the cause of the question was. But, he decided to drop it. If she wanted to say it, she would tell him.
"I'm thinking of getting the shepards pie," he nodded while glancing back at the menu, "Uh... what sort of things do you like exactly? I could try suggesting a thing or two based off of that."
There wasn't much he knew of the girl. As far as tastes went, he could only guess she liked meat considering she was a wolf but that still didn't say a whole lot.

"I like meat..." At least Blade's mental assumption had been right on the mark. "I dunno...I'm not very hungry." The stress of everything had all but zapped her appetite. Thinking about food was the farthest thing from her mind at the moment.
"Powderpuff! I never expected to see you here." That familiar voice called out of the crowd and Nyx nearly appeared from thin air, a mug of something in her hand. It smelled suspiciously of ale but surely they wouldn't have given that to her here.
Coming up behind the wolf girl she placed a hand on her shoulder. "Heard you were in the hospital, you doing okay?"
"Y...yeah, I'm doing okay..."
Light blue eyes looking over the table they settled on Blade for a moment. "Who's your friend?"
"Oh uh...this is Blade." Mitsu introduced. "Blade this is Nyx."
"Blade?" Nyx nodded in an approving manner. "Cool name, Dude. I can dig it."

Nodding at these notes, Blade looked over the menu to try and pick out something that might be good for Mitsu. Before he could do just that, a new voice sprang up. Glancing up, he saw a feline girl approaching them. Despite calling Mitsu "powderpuff' she appeared to be a friend of hers.
"Uh thanks," blinked Blade, "Nice to meet you Nyx. Wait, you go to Nao Academy too don't you?"
He could have sworn seeing her around before, but it was hard to say. Maybe she was new. Some students did transfer in midterm and such.

"Yeah, just started not long ago." Nyx grinned taking a sip of whatever was in her mug. "I move around a lot because of my Dad's business." Which was true but what had brought her here was more of her own personal business. Her father didn't even know she was gone probably.
Inviting herself to a chair, Nyx took a seat setting her mug down on the table with a soft thunk. "So what are you two up to anyway?"
Mitsu had fallen rather silent at that, her eyes drifting to the menu again but not really seeing it. "W...we were just...out."
"What's wrong? You seem kind of down?" Mitsu didn't seem to willing to offer up an answer so Nyx's curious gaze turned to Blade instead.

Nodding to Nyx, Blade briefly glanced at the menu again, remembering that Mitsu still needed to find something to eat. It was just a short glance as Nyx was still speaking to them. Furrowing his brow at the question, he glanced at the wolf girl, then back to the feline. He wasn't sure if he should really say.
"Healing's been a little rough on her. She's probably just tired from being out for awhile," he explained. It could be true still.

"Healing....so what happened exactly to land you in the hospital? I didn't hear much about what was going on." In fact, she had missed the whole thing. Normally she kept close tabs on Shun but she had taken the night off to be lazy. Figures something mind blowing would happen when her back was turned.
"W...we were attacked...in an alley." Mitsu's voice was suddenly soft and meek. The look on her face said the subject wasn't something she wanted to really talk about.
Reaching out a hand, Nyx placed it on Mitsu's arm. "Hey, you made it through it so don't be so discouraged." Her ability to comfort was a little off but Mitsu gave a small nod none the less. Deciding to switch subjects, Nyx turned to Blade since he seemed a little more willing to speak. "So what about you? I think I've seen you at school. You're in my martial arts class." Though Nyx did everything she could not to participate. Normally she sat on her butt and ignored the teacher. "Tell me something about yourself."

Frowning a bit, it seemed like Nyx was a bit of a nosy one. At least she didn't press on the issue too much. Mitsu probably wouldn't like having to speak about the whole thing right now. Though... there was something about it that bugged him. He was certain it was the same guy that had attacked him over winter break.
Raising a brow, Blade shrugged lightly.
"Not really sure what to tell you. There isn't a whole lot to say," he said, not the most willing to share bits about himself to someone he just met. He hadn't even really spoken with Riyo much about the personal things.

Nyx seemed amused as she took a sip from her mug again. "You're living and breathing so I would say you probably have interests of some sort. Hobbies perhaps. Maybe even things you like to indulge in. You can be as in depth or vague or really you can lie if you like. It's for conversation's sake."
As she placed her mug back down, Nyx's eerie blue eyes looked Blade over shortly as if trying to come up with a story from how he looked. She seemed to be searching for something with interest. "Do you do magic tricks of any sort? Card tricks? Slight of Hand? That sort of thing." Her train of thought was...somewhat on the right path but it had taken a wrong turn somewhere.
As the conversation steered away from her Mitsu just stared at the menu with a distant interest. She still kept an ear on what was being said but as far as adding anything she kept her mouth shut. Nyx was always good about carrying a conversation on her own anyway. The girl liked to talk...and hear herself talk.
