Saleen Moon

Still not completely understanding why this boy fainted, Saleen stared at her Zorua, who was just as shocked as she was. They knew not of his enormous fear, and who would take a job in an organization revolving around pokemon if they feared them anyways? Ambrosia was worried she would get in trouble…but as the other’s spoke it seemed that Ambrosia really HADN’T done anything more then a simple touch. When Frost mentioned that Ambrosia wasn’t really to blame, she looked at her Zorua and sighed. “I suppose you are right. But….why did he faint?” it really didn’t make much sense to her.

Esther let out a laugh at Lindsay’s remarks.
My my…you are quite the confused pokemon. I don’t have to be born here to know what being a pokemon is all about. In fact I was born free in the wild. But pairing with humans is beneficial to us in the long run. In the wild we risk starvation and death from a stronger pokemon. Here we might be tools, but we have longevity that is less likely in the wild. No matter how ‘nice’ your trainer is. You are still a tool in their mind. Maybe not that bluntly, but you will be used, and you will fight.” said Esther as she sat calmly with a grin. This jolteon might make a big fuss, but she wasn’t worried. It’s not like she was a particularly weak pokemon.

Ambrosia however, was still young and lacked the fighting experience Esther had. And when the jolteon turned her anger to her, she was nervous.
I…I really didn’t mean to make him faint. I was just having fun with him. And don’t tell me what to do!” said Ambrosia, with a sudden burst of courage at the end. However when the jolteon ran at her with agility, she jumped back with a squeal before a black and gold flash appeared to block Lindsay.Enough. Do not shame your trainer anymore then you already have. He is already going to get the heat for fainting over a mere touch. Do you REALLY want to make it worse by acting out? Pokemon behaving poorly will ALWAYS reflect badly on their trainer here. If he can’t handle you they will remove you! And he will be punished. Think before you act.” said Esther, standing her ground but making no move to attack. She did however give a warning glance to Ambrosia, that the warning was for her as well. She was sick of her and those two cats acting out, and she was going to put a stop to it.

Saleen quickly scooped up Ambrosia when the jolteon made a move to attack her and glared at the jolteon. “Enough you! Go back to your trainer!” she said as Ambrosia changed into a pichu and hid under Saleen’s hair on her shoulder. She really hadn’t meant to cause this much trouble…it was just harmless fun right?

((I'm...kinda stuck. Should I have Shawn come to, or should this rp end after Nikki Faleen returns Lindsay to her pokeball (if that iswhat she's going to be doing)? Anyone have any other ideas?))

Lindsay's pokeball, which had previously been in Shawn's possession before he had collapsed, had rolled out of his hand when he had hit the floor and now lay discreetly against the wall. Lindsay seemed to take no notice of it, but she did seem to mind Faleen nearing Shawn. She hesitated as she halved her attention between Faleen and the Zorua she currently blamed for her trainer's unconscious state.

Ambrosia's boldness only riled Lindsay more. She was about to give the Zorua a good show of her power when Esther cut in. 'It's exactly because you weren't born here that you don't know what being a pokemon in this facility is about,' the Jolteon shot back at Esther. She couldn't believe the Umbreon still had the nerve to argue with her. Of course she was right! She was always right. 'I'm not as much a sissy as you to fear stupid things like starvation and death. It's survival of the fittest, both here and in the wild, and I'm definitely fit enough. The question is, are you?' With a hiss and a snarl, the rampant electric-type tensed her muscles and leapt at Esther with a Thundershock. 'Don't you dare talk about Shawn like that!' Lindsay swore to herself that she'd shock that smug grin off the Umbreon's face if it was the last thing she did. 'Take it BACK!'

With Ambrosia all but forgotten, Lindsay could not allow herself to think seriously about Esther's reasoning. She was not shaming him! Surely the Umbreon was lying. Either that, or she was terribly ignorant. Lindsay would not believe for a moment that Shawn would be punished, for his or her actions. Mostly because if anyone tried anything, she would give it her all to defend them both. She didn't seem to hear Saleen's order or, if she had, gave no indication.

(*Pokes muse for being a pain* XD

Hmm, either way would work *is no help*)

Xander just rolled his eyes and gave a small smile at Frost's terrible attempt to joke. "Mm, you do get special attention." he chuckled as he knelt by Shawn, unafraid of the fainted newbie's pokemon as he knew there were enough pokemon and other Rockets that would interfere. "He didn't brake his neck but it does look like he his his head." the blond said after a quick check, familiar enough with first aid to at least do that. He slightly moved over when Faleen came over, clearly looking for something.

Both Angel and Conrad kept alert eyes trained on Lindsay even though they stayed on Xander's shoulders, shifting with him to not get in the way. While it looked like the Jolteon was clearly distracted by the other pokemon they weren't going to take any chances.

To Saleen's question, Frost could only shrug. "Shock? Fear? Something unrelated? I am hardly the best at discerning why anyone does anything... That Jolteon really is too much,” the pale man said with a raised eyebrow as the electric type let off a thunderbolt. Inside the dinging hall? Really? “I have seen badly behaved pokemon before,” he went on with a shake of his head, “but this is quite ridiculous. I have a feeling that boy is going to spend a lot of time in remedial pokemon handling lessons once he is properly indicated as a trainee.”

Well at least they didn’t have a corpse to deal with, that sort of thing was off-putting during lunch... lunch. He should still be eating. “Well that is good to know,” he said to Xander with a twitch of a smile as he speared another piece of pasta, “on both counts.” Eat. Sighing internally Frost put the piece of food in his mouth and chewed stoically; it wasn’t revolting or anything, but he really had lost interest in it.

(Haa haa, Faleen was the one that went to check on Shawn and got the Jolteon's pokeball X3 not Nikki.
As for what you want to do, its up to you, if you have something you want to do to continue it then cool, if not it can end soon and just start up a new RP XD it all works <3)

There were a lot of things that Faleen had a great amount of patience for, or usually an indifferent tolerances.
Misbehaving pokemon was NOT one of those things.
Faleen could deal with any form of malfunctioning robot, a crappy design she has to give a complete overhaul, even dealing with unreasonable people in most social situations. Pokemon on the other hand, they were to do what you told them, when you told them, and not make your look like an idiot.

This was what Faleen expected of her own pokemon, her Zorua pushed the limits of that tolerances, something she intended to work on thoroughly.
But the group of pokemon that were clearly not getting along, was pushing it. She didn't know what they were saying, she didn't care what they were saying, it was unprofessional behavior and it needed to stop.
First order of business, The Jolteon was returned into the ball once it had been retrieved.

"Calm down please, this is a public aria." She pointed out calmly,
Glancing over to the pink haired grunt when she had yelled at the Jolteon, yelling wasn't going to help calm the situation down.
"It might be best to recall your pokemon for the time being. I've alerted one of the medical staff to come take care of Shawn."

The whole time, Faleen's Zorua sat, watching with a smug little smirk on her face, paws draped over the side of the seat as her tail flapped back and forth, watching the show in front of her, it was always fun to be out of her pokeball to witness this kind of thing.

((Oops! Sorry, Blood, I have no idea where I got Nikki from. I'll edit that.

And I'm sorry, I messed up again; that attack was supposed to be a ThunderShock, not a Thunderbolt. I know it might not make much difference, but I just read up and she's not supposed to have any TM moves yet, especially not ones as powerful as that.))

Lindsay was too preoccupied with Esther to really take much notice of Xander, but she wasn't too concerned with the human as it was. He wasn't female, and as far as she knew, Shawn didn't really have an attraction to males, so the Jolteon didn't see the Rocket as much of a threat to hers and her trainers' bond.

Frost, on the other hand...he was insulting her. Her and Shawn. He must have been the sort of Rocket who had confined her to the storage facilities before. The sort that couldn't understand her power. With a sharp bark, she shot off another ThunderShock, this time aimed at Frost's food. She hoped it would explode in his face. That might show him a thing or two.

Out of the corner of her eye, Lindsay saw the red flash of light lash out at her and dodged with Agility. No, no, no! She wasn't going to go back in her ball yet, not until she had shown these humans what she was capable of and they backed off from her and Shawn. In her haste, however, the Jolteon kicked aside a plastic cup filled with some liquid beverage which hit the back wall and showered Xander and Shawn.

"Wh-wha-what?!" the boy exclaimed, woken by the splashing of liquid in his face. "What happened?" he yelped, his voice higher than usual as it rose in fear. Suddenly he caught sight of his assigned pokemon. She stared at him for a moment, surprised to see him awake, before letting out a gleeful, "Jooool!" and launching herself off the table, ready to be caught in his arms.

"Ahh!" Those arms, on the other hand, were swiftly brought up to protect their owners face as he panicked over the charging electric-type.

The Thundershock was true, and the food did indeed explode in Frost's face. Once the shock of being attacked by an ally's pokemon wore off, the pale-skinned man came to a realisation. He was dirty. Dirty. He was not pleased. His face expressionless, his pale eyes sharp and cold, he turned to regard the electric type. This transgression would not go unpunished.

"Skiron, Ice Beam it," he ordered his companion sharply, unclipping another pokeball from his belt as he spoke and releasing its occupant: the Spiritomb appeared with a piercing scream. "Persephone, Shadow Ball that Jolteon!"

Skiron had almost acted on his own, had longed just to unleash his power on the other eeveeloution, but he forced himself to wait those few moments to receive an order. When he did receive it, he didn't hold back; a vicious bolt of ice shot towards the Jolteon, and the Galceon snarled.

pay!> Cackling manically Presephone launched a well-aimed Shadow Ball at the enemy. She didn't care that her trainer had been insulted, but she was quite happy to go along with it if she got to cause a living creature pain.

Pulling out the handkerchief he had used to clean his fork, Frost wiped his face clean and signalled his pokemon to hold the fire as the Jolteon jumped on its trainer. "You, boy," he said to the panicked Shawn in silky tones, "will control your pokemon or I will have my pokemon beat it to a bloody pulp. Do I make myself absolutely crystal clear?" He was dirty. Dirty! He would see to it that this child was educated, personally if possible. How could anyone so ignorant have been allowed to come into possession of such a volatile pokemon in the first place? He was dirty!

Her eyebrows arched slightly when the pokemon dodged, Faleen lowered the pokeball quietly, and let out a small breath from her nose, glancing over at where the attack had hit. blinking as food now covered poor Frost.

Frost in turn, called out his pokemon. "Frost" She said, speaking his name to politely get his attention, before glancing down when she noticed that the boy was coming to again.
"Before one of these attacks goes stray and hits someone else, maybe you can take this boy to the training rooms and complete the challenge beating to a pulp there?"
As she spoke though, her eyes lingered with a polite fascination for the... beautiful darkly colored Spiritomb that had been called out.

In the middle of lunch, at the cafeteria was not the place for this, Frost looked... highly uncomfortable, and she couldn't blame him, had the Jolteon attacked her, she would be none to happy about the situation.
But this could get ugly really fast, Faleen hoped, that for the Grunts around, that this situation be defused, before something happened that got many of them in trouble.

The pokeball was lowered, and tapped against Shawn's shoulder.
"Shawn, please return your Jolteon before it gets you into any more trouble."

Blast. She was right. He shouldn't have allowed anger and discomfort to make him act so irresponsibly. "You are of course correct Faleen," Frost nodded slightly before turning to address his pokemon. "Skiron stand down, Persephone limit yourself to Hypnosis if the Jolteon continues to misbehave." He was dirty. He wanted to go and shower. He knew he ought to go and get something else to eat but he honestly couldn't face the idea until he was clean again; just standing here and waiting for the situation to progress was hard enough.

(XD Oopes, changed it to Faleen in my last post)

Xander had given Frost a smile in response to the small one the man had given. He had been glad that he had attempted to go back to eating. He had been relieved when Shawn had woken up. Xander how ever was NOT happy to have been hit with a drink and he was extremely not happy that the Jolteon had attacked Frost. His eyes narrowed into a glare at Lindsey but he spoke to Shawn in a very deceptively calm voice. "If that out of control pokemon attacks Frost again then she's going to find her self on the receiving end of a few very well aimed fire attacks and I'll make sure you are run though your paces." He then got up and walked over to Frost to check him over for any damage other then just being dirty.

Angel and Conrad both growled in unison at the Eeveelution that dared to misbehave so bad. ~Try something like that again and you will pay!~ Conrad told her. Both of the pokemon had managed to avoid being hit with the drink so that did help any temper that might have happened other wise.

Saleen nodded to Faleen and recalled Ambrosia to her pokeball. Esther however....stood before her trainer and Saleen didn't really want to return her...and risk the jolteon attacking her instead. But before she could consider it anymore, with the pokeball in hand, the 'trainer' of the umbreon awoke. Esther just rolled her eyes at the behavior of the jolteon. She wasn't afraid of losing to the untrained pokemon of a trainer who couldn't stand to touch his own pokemon. She just stood in front of Saleen, intent on protecting her trainer should the jolteon choose to attack.

When Shawn began to panic, Saleen chose to step closer. "Do not fear your pokemon. She does not want to hurt you, she merely wants you to embrace her. She is loyal to you, and if you don't take control of that loyalty, she will continue to make bad decisions. Don't worry, I am knew to pokemon as well. But she has potential if you can just take control." said Saleen, but she didn't get too close. The jolteon was very aggressive it seems. "You should recall her for now before she does something you will regret." she said softly as she motioned to the jolteon's pokeball.

Saleen had to admit, the food exploding in Frost’s face was very entertaining. She held back a chuckle. As wrong as it was for the jolteon to do that, showing her poor behavior, it was quite entertaining. As the other’s stepped in, Saleen took a step back. She had given her advice to the boy, but she figured he would have some punishment for what his pokemon has done..if not demotion. Hopefully basic training can teach him how to control his own pokemon…Saleen’s pokemon might be tricksters, but they also knew when it was and wasn’t appropriate.

Lindsay's ears perked at Frost's command. As she landed more or less on Shawn's lap, she turned to face her opponents, baring her teeth fiercely. Finally, a fight! A real fight! And against two opponents, nonetheless. This was the sort of thing she felt she was meant for. Odds that no average pokemon could hope to defeat. An excited thrill surged through her, manifesting itself as electrical sparks that shot off her spiked fur. In her maddened joy, she didn't notice the static shocks she was giving her trainer, nor his pleadings for her to stop.

'You're the wretch here, Diamond-Tail,' she shot back, secretly pleased to be facing another eeveeloution. She found them to be quite worthy opponents. But then the ghost made itself known, repeating Skiron's words in what Lindsay took to be an almost brainless manner. Her dark, amber eyes narrowed. Shawn called out in his sleep about ghosts, ranting and raving about how they would eat him. Well, she wouldn't let that happen. If ghost-types were an enemy of her trainer, then they were her enemies too. They took priority on her list of creatures she hated and would make sure kept away from Shawn. This one hadn't earned her favor in the least.

Mindless, soulless monster, she hissed at Persephone. It was your master who insulted mine in the first place, not to mention me. No one does that without consequences. I make sure of it. She ignored Xander's pokemon for the most part, considering them cowards for merely clinging to their trainer's shoulders. All talk, no action.

Meanwhile, Shawn had gotten a hold of his wits once more and was paying attention to Frost as if his life depended on it. Which, given the organization he was a part of and the displeasure he had already caused his superiors, may have very well been the case. "That's...Shadow, sir," Shawn spoke up, deciding it was probably best to go with his codename from now on.

"Uh...Trainee Shadow, I guess. Y-yeah, I'm...sorry. I honestly don't know why the heck they gave her to me, except that they couldn't...er, pry her away." He scratched the back of his neck, not wanting to touch the Jolteon, but extremely uncomfortable with having her on his lap at the same time. The new trainee gave Frost a silent, pleading look that said, 'please, help me!'. If Frost's pokemon could handle her, Shawn wouldn't have objected to the grunt attacking Lindsay in order to subdue her. At the moment, however, he wasn't so keen on the idea while the electric-type was still perched on his lap.

As for the other pokemon, he wouldn't even look at them. If he did - if they so much as made eye-contact, Shawn thought he might faint all over again. Fortunately, Faleen gave him a reason to redirect his attention elsewhere. "Oh, yeah, r-right," he agreed, realizing Lindsay must have caused a decent amount of damage while he had been out. "S-sorry." Not only he was drenched in liquid, but it seemed a couple of the other Rockets were a little worse for wear themselves. It wasn't as though they had done it to themselves, and Shawn highly doubted any of their pokemon were as badly-behaved as his.

Taking the pokeball gratefully from Faleen, he directed it at Lindsay and pressed the button. "Return. Please," he begged quietly, watching the red light shoot out.

"Jol?" Lindsay inquired, turning her head and tilting it to look at him before returning to the ball.

Relieved, Shawn took a deep breath and closed his sepia eyes, slumping back against the wall again. They promptly opened again at the chilling sound of Xander's calm words. "Attacks who - ?" He glanced at the man who had introduced himself as Frost before. "Oh, oh! Uh, yeah, reeeally sorry about that," he apologized quickly. "Like I said - never owned a pokemon before. And...never really intended to." He watched as the older teen went over to inspect the older grunt.

When Saleen began to address him, the boy looked up at her with an incredulous smile. "'Embrace her'?" he repeated. "Can you read pokemon minds or something? Because from what I've seen, she looks like she expects me to follow her lead, not the other way around." He ran a hand through his hair fretfully. "I don't even want to think of what she might do to me if I tried to give her an order other than 'return'. What does she have potential for? Ripping me apart?" He paused. "Wait, if you're new to pokemon too, how are you so high in rank? How many do you have?" From Shawn's experience, even the youngest children seemed to be able to handle pokemon, so he felt pretty pathetic to be so inept at it.

"Man..." Shawn groaned. "I'm really sorry...but...can someone show me where I should go for basic training before she gets out of her ball again?" He held up the pokeball. "Is there somewhere I can keep her, like some baby-sitting, daycare thing, or do I have to take her with me?"

"Shadow. I see." Pushing down the urge to just drop the conversation immediately and run to find a shower, Frost pursed his lips. "I have little truck with apologies," he went on, "I prefer... something tangible. Action. Mmh, in any case, if you do not learn to control her, the chances are they will pry her away. The labs always need new test subjects after all. If you care for her wellbeing get her under control and do it fast. If she had done to an elite what she did to me I have little doubt she would be on her way down to the basement floors already. A final two points: I am sure somebody will be able to show you the way, and no, we do not run a baby-sitting service. This is Team Rocket, Shadow, not a mothers' knitting circle. Now if you will excuse me," the pale-eyed man gave a polite nod to all present, "I am going to go and find some clean clothes."

Without waiting for a response he set off for the cafeteria's exit at a brisk walk. Once he had disappeared from view, the small man paused and retrieved his Rocket 'dex. Pulling up Xander under his contacts he typed out two words before slipping the device away again and hastening on to the showers. A few moments later Xander's 'dex would beep at him to let him know he had a new text:

Thank you.

The pokeball was taken from Shawn, and he was able to return his pokemon safely.
Her Hazel eyes lifted up to look at the pink haired Grunt as she spoke about... embracing pokemon.
She shrugged a shoulder lightly, that wasn't something that was to uncommon to hear, not that she related herself.

Turning back to the table, she went to sit back down by Nikki and her Zorua to finish her lunch.

Zorua perked up, wagging her bushy tail and looking to receive some scraps that Faleen handed to her.

"Lean fast then or give up your pokemon, simple as that." Xander said. Normally he would have had more patience then that but oh well, the kid had to learn. "Check your 'Dex for a map." he offered though, most attention on his roommate who left before he could get to him. He rolled his eyes with a small smile and planned on catching up with him later. The smile grew at the text he just received then, with a backwards wave of farewell, left the room, sending a text his self.
