Karl pulled her head against his shoulder as he kicked the horses into a faster speed. "Oh, princess, you do not know how long I have waited for this." He chuckled as the sky grew dark. They were getting close to their destination.

Some time later, they had arrived in a small town with a beat up palace. Karl slowed the horses down and pulled them to a stop. He jumped down and threw Celestia over her shoulder walking into the palace. He chuckled as he got several stares, but they didn't question him. His people never did. When he came to the tower chamber, he walked in and set Celestia on the bed taking off the gag. "I hope the ride wasn't to difficult for you," he said stepping back and tossing the ripped cloth away.

karl sighed and filled a glass with water. He set it on the table and pressed a towel against Celestia's mouth to soak up the blood. "Once you get a chance, drink the water, and lay down with your face up. The bleeding will stop soon." Karl stood and walked to the door, turning to look at her. "You hate me now Princess, but you will learn that your father is not the man you think he is." Karl walked out shutting the door and the click of a lock turning was loud.

"Miss?" A young nurse maid came in shutting the door. "The prince asked me to come check on you." She walked over with a bowl of hot water and medchine. The maid dabbed a cloth into the water and pressed it to Celestia's head. "Miss, you must lay down, or you'll come down with a fever."

The maid sighed. "The prince is busy right now, miss. He sent me to help you. Now please, lay down." The maid flipped the covers of the bed over for Celestia to lay down.

"Hating him has nothing to do with your illness," the maid said dryly. She shrugged setting the tray of medchine and water on the bed side table. "These will be here for you, if you want to take them." She walked to the door and opened it to walk out. "The prince will not be back for quite some time though."

Karl stood in a beat up room with many men around him asking questions. "Who is she?" one said. "What will you do with her?" another called out. Karl lifted a hand and silenced them. "She is the king's only child." He chuckled. "We will use her, and threaten the king with her life, and he will grant us our kingdom and freedom." He looked aorund at his people kindly. "Our home will be restored to us soon, my friends."

Karl talked with his brother who had just arrived from a friendly visit to an ally of theirs. His brother whispered to him and Karl frowned nodding. He turned to the woman he was speaking with and kissed her hand looking at her. "Forgive me, but I must take care of something." He left the room and made his way up to Celestia's room.
