Horus smiled back, and decided Xinder looked very pretty when smiling. He wished she had been made fun of just because she glowed. “Well I’m glad to be of assistance then” He replied. “Its been a while on my side as well. We only have two hunters at the moment and one of them really isn’t big enough to hunt antelope.”
Horus frowned and could have sworn Xinder was red for a moment, could the heat have gotten to her. Perhaps she had been injured and he had missed it? “ah okay, after all out here your pretty much guaranteed something else is going to try and take it.”

"You were lots of assistance." She assured him, smiling a little again. "Not big enough? Oh. One of the permas you were telling me about? The same one that wrestles alligators?" She asked, plopping next to a haunch and beginning to nibble on her meal.
She wasn't too used to sharing so she was surprised she didn't mind sharing with Horus. She also found herself wondering if his tribe would be as accepting of her as Horus was. If that were the case...maybe she could join? If they allowed lizard fighting permas...maybe the elder wouldn't mind a freaky, glowing, female?

“Well then I was glad I could help.” Horus replied with a nod. “No we have two perma’s this one is well the crocodile wrestling perma’s…. mate?” Horus stated. Jaci liked to call it Soul partners so he supposed he could of explained it that way, but mate had the same meaning pretty much.
Well now it was time to follow his advice about eating before the scavengers came around. Seeing as Xinder had already dug in he picked a place that wouldn’t interfere with Xinder’s own eating and started nibbling away himself. He would have to thank Atum when he got back, it was actually a pretty good idea to come out all the way to the borders, well now actually they where off tribe land but it was the idea that counted.

"Mate?" Xinder asked, wide-eyed. That was...just strange. Unless he meant it some other way? "Like...best firends living together...right? Not...adult type mating?" she asked, blushing brilliantly. She'd never really talked to anyone about this. A side effect of not really talking to anyone at all. To hide her blush she tucked back into the haunch and tried to act all non-chalant. It was a little too late though.

“Well I would assume something like the adult type of mate, I just…” Horus trailed off for a second, he was bout to say ‘I just let them do whatever they want’ but that would sound a bit more elderish wouldn’t it. “I just don’t really ask.” He finally finished and then raised a questioning eyebrow when she blushed. Then there was that weird way of phrasing the question too. He smiled before leaning down and taking another bite.

Xinder stared at Horus with wide eyes, blushed some more and turned to the antelope. Finishing her breakfast she moved away and started licking her fur clean. "Your tribe...it sounds nice. Do you think...do you think I could visit sometime? If you think the others of your tribe wont...find the glow...disturbing?" She asked, not really looking at him. She wouldn't mind visiting a tribe if they were all as nice as Horus. She just hoped his elder didn't mind glowing foxes.

Well Horus should be nice and try to save Xinder from blushing. “Well I guess Jaci calls them soul partners not really mates. I don’t really ask all what that entails though because really I am better off not knowing. “Yes it’s a very nice place” Horus replied and then tilted his head to the side. Visiting…? Well that would definitely give him away as an elder. However he promised himself when she did visit he would tell her who exactly he was. “Yes you are welcome to visit any time. Nope they won’t find it disturbing in the least. Like I said we’ve seen much weirder things.” He smiled just knowing this would be disastrous but at the same time he really really did want her to visit.

"Ah. I see." She said uncertainly, not entirely sure what to say on the subject of the kits. She listened to Horus' assurances and nodded, though she hunched her shoulders defensively as well. "I...suppose." She'd have to get her courage up; a feat that wasn't always easy. Still, Horus hadn't ever given her a reason not to trust him. The exact opposite, actually.
"Maybe...maybe I can come visit...soon." she offered, half hiding her nose behind her tail.

Horus nodded and figured out he would drop it, after all like he had said he really didn’t care what Jaci or Raz got up to. Horus wondered briefly what she considered soon and hoped that he was still in normal form when she came to visit. He still should right, after all the modeities had been silent for a while other than to tell him to come out here, but that was nothing too new. Then again they did have a thing for being difficult.
“Well then I shall look forward to the possibility of you coming by” He smiled. She really liked hiding behind that tail didn’t she.

Xinder nodded and paused. "W-when's a good time to do that? Come by I mean? I wouldn't want to interrupt any...ceremonies or something." She pointed out before wincing. She was already coming up with reasons not to go and mentally smacked herself upside the head. She lashed her tail a little and smiled at Horus tightly. "Plus...less crowds maybe?"

There shouldn’t be any ceremony soon. “Hmm well we’re all pretty scattered right now. Best thing would be to come during the flood season because then we’re not really doing anything. However if you wanted to avoid crowds I would say soon. Right now we’re preparing for the season so we’re all scattered at the moment”… plus the sooner she came the easier it would be for him to tell her who he actually was. After all he doubted that would go over well when he was suddenly a foot taller than she was.

Xinder debated the relative merits of coming sooner or later and decided sooner was better. She was willing to trust Horus, but she didn't think she was ready for too many foxes at the same time. "I think I should come soon. Maybe in a couple of weeks? I'm still a little nervous meeting many foxes at the same time. And what about your elder, shouldn't I get permission to come onto tribe lands from him?" She asked, this suddenly seemed like a pertinent question. She so didn't want to get on the elder's bad side.

Ah yes the elder question. He took a deep breath ready to tell her the truth and…. “I’m sure the elder wouldn’t mind. He lets non family members come and visit occasionally” Horus replied. Well it was the truth. Horus didn’t mind outsider’s coming to visit after all some of them had large families and not everyone was in kemet. It probably wasnt a good thing but he never found that living in fear of attack was a good thing. Hmmm a couple weeks and the tribe area shouldnt be too flooded. "Sure I will look forward to it" He nodded.

Xinder nodded and wrapped her tail around her paws. "Alright. I'll definitely come and visit in a couple of weeks then." She offered the male a smile and, before she could lose her nerve, she leaned in and touched her nose to Horus' cheek. Trying to act nonchalant, Zinder lifted a paw and started cleaning it.

Horus nodded and gave back a reassuring smile. There was no hint that he wouldn’t be a normal fox like her in a few weeks. Then he could tell her exactly what the tribe was to him. He unexpectantly blushed when Xinder leaned forward and touched his cheek. Tilting his head to the side he had a content look on his face. Yes he would be looking forward to her visit in a few weeks. Of course meeting her with out the tribe blowing his cover would be interesting but not impossible.
