O hohoho.
Sore spot located !
"Well, I figure not all of you senshi scum can be useful..." The earth rumbled under her feet, which meant it was time to get the hell out of the immediate area.
What Dioptase lacked in brute strength (usually, she had one of her lieutenants, a 6'5" tank of a football jock that liked to bulldoze things to do that part for her), she had in agility. The limbs emerged, blowing chunks of concretes, and while there was a few close encounters, she slid though extremely well.
That is, until she collided right into a senshi. Suddenly there were senshi everywhere, jumping out of the shadows, drowning the nearby aura readings.
What.
The Hell.
"Bordel de..." Whatever the european captain was gonna say, it was lost as the tentacles caught up with her - she flung her dagger at Scylla in riposte. No lost there - she could always summon it right back into her hand.

He had been distracted with Sailor Gaia. The girl got on his nerves, but he once in a while caught officers he knew from the corner of his eye. Most seemed to have everything in control, and other times he wondered if he should turn his attention and help out, not that he really had that opportunity with a senshi fighting him. He was set in doing some damage, supporting his team, and doing what he always did in battle. Fight hard and as best as he could and try and keep his eye and ear out for anyone who needed backup.
It was between fighting that he noticed a growing amount of energy. A blip here, a pressure there, and then a larger power that caused him to jump away from Gaia for a time to look around. It was strange to see a guardian cat of any sort in a battle, and he then started to really notice that growing number of senshi. A few he hadn't seen shown up from the start, and he started to grow concerned. He knew their powers to a degree, and he tried to figuring out the numbers in quick summary in his head about how many they could take on. This seemed….a little much.
His eyes darted to Tanzanite, and he felt a growing concern, but he wouldn't leave until ordered. "General!" He called out, before looking around for Bismuthite. He spotted the boy fighting with some senshi and glancing at Gaia, he left her to assist the lieutenant. If they were going to have more senshi, he wanted to be around Bismuthite to makes sure he wasn't targeted and killed.
Summoning, he weapon, Wolframite made towards the pink-clad boy.

Alkaid had no time to relish her small victory - her vision cleared, but not before Birhan's foot nailed her in the knee. She grit her teeth as she toppled forward after the senshi, her hands releasing the grip she had on her foot in order to save herself from face planting the asphalt.
She hissed through clenched teeth as her knees and palms scraped along the jagged black court beneath her, digging into her exposed skin. She pushed herself back up onto her knees slowly as the pain bit through her cloudy senses and, for the first time, she glanced up and away from her miniature battle - up at chaos.
All around her negaversers were falling, senshi had swarmed out of nowhere, and Alkaid felt fear gripping her heart. Where was her General? Where were the captains? Birhan was forgotten.

Once the second wave's presence became known, the Blood Moon senshi began to shout. Some screamed. Others just made bizarre noises. At first, it seemed like the court was having a collective meltdown. But shortly the Negaverse agents would realize that it was just another tactic.
They couldn't communicate with each other if they couldn't hear each other.

Nemesis was irritated. The toe of her shoe tapped impatiently against the cement floor of the alleyway where she had tucked herself away. Ares must be testing Nemesis' limit; that was the thought that was floating through the Senshi of Decay's head as she remained in hiding. Ares knew Nemesis would rather be there at the start of the battle, taking down every foe that dared to step into her line of fire. She wasn't a bred fighter, but she sure as hell learned how to be one. Nemesis reveled in the victory (even if she was a sore loser, a sorer than sore loser).
Finally.
It was time. The darkly themed senshi rose to her feet, there was another BMC member not far from her also rising to take action. The Negaverse had no ******** clue what they had gotten themselves into, and they were about to be in for a rude awakening. It was almost time to admit that Nemesis was better suited to this portion of the battle, but she still chalked it up to Ares 'hating' on her.
Her walk turned into a jog, and she propelled herself into the midst of the battlefield. A target was easy enough to spot, and while her dart skills may be lacking, her attack was assured to always hit. "Decay of Breath!" she hissed at a Negaverser, not really waiting for the effects of her paralyzing attack to settle in before aiming a dart at her intended victim.

Birhan hadn't forgotten Alkaid. Even while joy flooded her at how well their plan was going so far, Birhan was well aware that certain individuals could foil it - among them Tanzanite (who was Ares' problem right now) and this corrupted Super Senshi. Birhan was not going to let them regroup.
From behind Alkaid, Birhan rose to her feet. She quickly closed the distance between them, driving one heel down at the crouching Alkaid's back. Hopefully the senshi would remain distracted and not notice Birhan's approach.
The time for playing nicely was over. "Can't let you do that, Super," she said. "You need to get through me first."

Understanding hit Tanzanite with all the force of a tidal wave, striking fear into the General's heart for what felt like the first time in months. Helicase went down, and Tanzanite would have been impressed were she not suddenly fearful for the lives of her soldiers.
She should have ordered retreat right then and there, but amidst the chaos the General could not make out their numbers. How many were there now? A dozen? More? She should have taken precaution, called for the Negaverse to teleport, and perhaps she would have had one of the Lieutenants not already been sedated. As it were... she couldn't leave him behind. Cold-hearted thought the senshi certainly thought her to be, her loyalty had always been beyond question. Helicase was not dead, and he was not dying yet, and so Tanzanite could not see him left to the mercy of the Blood Moon Court.
Somehow, she doubted that mercy existed at all.
Her attention was suddenly caught by the tink tink tink of darts bouncing off of the scales of her arm. Those black eyes went immediately to Alkaid, her voice ringing out in a strained yell, “ALKAID! Go! Tell Queen Beryl, bring the General-Kings!”
It was the only command she could get out, before the noise picked up. Calling for retreat was no longer an option, and Tanzanite turned to run towards the recruits whose lives she had now put at risk. Ares was barking orders, but they were cut short as she saw the General take off towards her fellow officers.
They were too young to die here. God, they were too young to die at all.
“Wolframite! Bismuthite!” Tanzanite screamed, but she could barely hear their voices above the chaos that filled the grounds, and she knew her words would not carry, “We need to go! We need to get o-”
The General stopped, as Ares' hand grabbed hold of her wrist. Another hand was wrapping in her hair, another took hold of her ankle. Seemingly from nowhere, the Blood Moon Court functioned like a single unit, a collection of cells all working together, knowing that their lives hung in the balance. That black arm twisted out of Ares grasp, and found it's way to the woman's throat. There was a sudden, sharp pain as a syringe was jammed into the side of her neck, a violent twist of her head breaking the needle off.
“Get off of me. Get off of me!” The General screamed, her composure fleeing as her worry increased. She had never shown fear on the battlefield where her own life was concerned, but she did not fear for her life now.
She feared for Wolframite.
For Bismuthite.
Alkaid.
Dioptase.
Uranophane.
The senshi descended like a swarm of sharks on the scent of blood, and Tanzanite could barely hear her own voice over the sound of her heart pounding in her ears.
“Run!”

It was kind of fun playing with her food, Scylla decided, watching the captain run through the rising chunks of concrete like it was a minefield. All it would take was one lucky blow, Scylla reminded herself, seeing the knife in hand. One lucky blow, and that knife would sink into her body, tearing muscle and meat, seeking whatever important organ the captain thought she could reach. Her heart, maybe, or a kidney?
The moment her companions stepped from the shadows, Scylla smiled again. The captain wasted one important second, and it was game over. A limb wrapped around the captain's leg, another sliding up her body, seeking purchase somewhere on the Negaverser's body. Maybe it should grab that other arm, the one hurling knives. The tentacle writhed, inching higher, the goal to tie the offending limbs to the Negaverser's body, to tie her up tight. The tentacles were not slimy. In fact, they were oddly smooth, except for the sucker-mouths that tugged on pants legs, tickling the humanoid flesh it came in contact with.
The suckers were meant to rend youma flesh, not human flesh, though some Negaverse clothing made it out worse than others.
Helicase had been the first to be knocked out, and Primase followed suit, leaving the only one Scylla had to worry about to be Dioptase. A cadet moved in their direction, obviously going to take that problem off Scylla's hands, but Scylla stopped him, moving towards her trapped prey. "Do I play the overconfident b***h fairly well?" she asked, yelling it above the hoots and hollers of her allies. "You got in a good hit, but you lose. Game over, Captain. Tell me your name."
She needed to keep an eye out for more of those knives.

Gunn laughed. Some screamed, some howled, and Gunn laughed. The reasoning behind her not pulling her matches and wasting Bismuthite's paint vial was revealed when she jerked a capped syringe out of the place in her fuku where a book of matches was normally secreted. It was easy to hold the struggling lieutenant in place when he was trying to rise. With the cap in her teeth, she yanked; the needle gleamed as she moved to plunge it into the juncture of Bismuthite's shoulder and throat.

Mercy was not something that Ares believed in. She was incapable of it.
When Tanzanite broke out in panic, the senshi only felt pleasure, her determination increasing. Ares crawled to her feet. Her fingers fell to the green bow at her waist and the syringe that was hidden there. The Intel senshi had been working over time on this strategy. They were going to get a giant ******** cake when all was said and done.
With a feral snare, Ares threw herself at Tanzanite, stabbing the syringe into the pale human flesh at the side of her neck. The General reacted quickly, grabbing her by the throat and breaking the needle off before the full dose could be administered.
But Ares was always prepared.
The sedative had already begun to take hold on Tanzanite's human self. Her grip weakened, and Ares broke free, gripping at her throat. She pulled a second syringe from her waist band. It was the last she had. Better stack the odds in her favor: "Ares Smothering Blast, Power Up!" Smoke exploded in a wide circle around Tanzanite, encompassing anyone within four feet of her on either side.
Then the senshi dove headlong into it, syringe in hand, disappearing into darkness with the Negaverse General.

Dioptase, she decided, certainly did not swing that way.
Jesus, was there teeth on those things ?!
As it was, Dioptase wasn't in a position many could envy. One tentacle had held dangling by one ankle, and the other had curled around her upper body, keeping both arms pinned close to her body.
And she could swear those things were nibbling on her uniform. Ugh.
"What's that ?" She asked, candidly. "I can't hear you over your b***h posse howling like the animals they are."
Unfortunately, she had a very good vantage point on the situation. Attempting to get Tanzanite's attention would probably be futile - not only was the general busy, but the god damn noise...
And then the smoke engluphed Tanzanite - her general, her once-partner, the closest thing to a friend she had in this land, and she felt her heart drop in her chest. No, no, no...
She could probably have teleported, but the lieutenants... no, she couldn't teleport without at least the lieutenants. They couldn't do so themselves, and leaving them at the mercy of these senshi ? No, Dioptase wasn't that heartless...
Of course, she needed to get out of Scylla's mercy first... All it took was a thought to make her dagger manifest out of subspace once more, and she gave a jerk of her body in attempt to drive the blade right into the limp that was holding her tied up. Given that she couldn't move, this wasn't exactly working very well for her.

There, a glimpse of purple, wild hair flashing between mobs of senshi. She was hopeful as she began to push herself to her feet, ready to soar after her General and help her fight through the set up - and then she felt a stabbing pain in her shoulder blade and had no choice but to fall forward again. She hissed as the annoying senshi's words broke out, heard just above the screams and wails that surrounded them. Birhan was underestimating her and placing herself in the middle of something she really didn't want to be in the middle of - Alkaid and her loyalty.
"You need to learn what fear is," she hissed under her breath, vanishing from beneath Birhan's foot even as she was digging it into her back. She reappeared instantly behind the red-head senshi, the pain in her face gone and replaced with a silent anger that narrowed her eyes and made her lips curl into sneer. Without another word she twisted her hands into the girl's hair and yanked roughly, then kicked out with a heeled foot at the back of her knee as hard as she could. She let go of her hair at the same time, aiming to let the girl simply drop to the pavement. She would have gone after her had a voice not reached her amongst the fray, the one voice she was always alert to.
Tanzanite.
Her anger vanished in alarm as she looked out for her General, reading the emotions in her face and hearing the words all at once. She was conflicted as she watched the amazon turn to save her troops, as she watched her slipping beyond her reach. Every cell in Alkaid's corrupted body screamed at her to go after her General. Save her, protect Tanzanite. Then her mind remembered the words, the command, and she stood there in a silent battle with herself as she tried to follow her heart or her mind - her instinct or her duty.
Her hands curled into fists and her teeth grit as if she were fighting down some demon inside herself. She felt like she was going to scream and cry all at once as she tried to accept the orders that went against every part of her being. But orders were orders, and Tanzanite knew best. She turned her head away and shut her eyes, forcing herself not to look upon the carnage that lay before her.
Then she vanished back to the negaverse, like a good soldier.

More and more senshi were moving in, and he was all but racing over to the other boy. He saw a lieutenant slump to the ground. Not bleeding. Not dead. Just..out. It worried him. It worried him to no end. Seeing someone dead was one thing. He even saw bleeding to death. This. This was different. This was new. This wasn't something he was familiar with and had no idea how to handle. Right now, he wanted to get the hell out of here, but he couldn't just up and leave. As backup, he was here for the worst and to make sure they all got out. Maybe if they collected together, they could push through and grab their numbers. Grab and teleport.
Maybe Tanzanite had a plan.
His eyes flickered to the General and he watched as more and more senshi collected around her. Torn, he was conflicted on helping Aree or helping Bismuthite. All around him people were being surrounded. He couldn't save them all, and Tanzanite was a General with power that was much more than his.
His eyes raced back to Bismuthite in time to see Gunn advance, and he felt his heart seize as she neared him. "GET OFF!" He shouted, and threw his chain at her to get her to move away. She wouldn't touch him. She wouldn’t kill him. She wouldn't take him away. Bismuthite was his and he would tear apart anyone who dared touch him.

Sailor Leto was screaming loudly as she ran through the crowd until she was able to throw herself against a wall. She threw both hands up over her face, palms facing outwards. "Leto Camouflage Illusion!" were the last words to come out of her mouth before the girl disappeared into her surroundings. She knew she didn't have much time, she'd have to get in, tranq her opponent and get out. Her eyes scanned the area, her chest rising and falling with her heavy breaths. She was nervous, palms sweaty as she gripped the dart in her left hand.
She spotted him- her eyes narrowed and fixed upon Wolframite. A broad grin spread across her face and she pushed herself off of the wall, taking off into a sprint. She watched intently as the man threw his chain at Sailor Gunn in an attempt to save the other Negaverse agent. She would have to keep a close eye on this other guy, she figured. If Wolframite was willing to save him, she'd bet Bis would be willing to do the same. Leto weaved through Senshi and Negaversers alike until she reached him; she wrapped her right arm around his waist pulling him against her so she could use her left hand to shove the tranquilizer dart into the side of his neck. The second he started to go down, she used her own body to lead him to the ground and her right hand moved upwards to clamp over his mouth with a rag drenched in chloroform. Slowly Sailor Leto was becoming visible to everyone around her again.

Birhan found the senshi's words to be ironic, given the situation. The Negaverse was finally learning to fear the Blood Moon Court. Any quick reply died on Birhan's lips as Alkaid disappeared. She didn't even have time to swear before something grabbed her braid and yanked, then took out a knee from behind. Birhan dropped with a yell, mixed pain and rage, hitting the concrete hard. It was lucky that Alkaid had let go of Birhan's hair or she'd be worse off than just sore knees and hands, and a re-emerging headache.
She wasn't slow to get back on her feet and spin to face Alkaid, but by then the blonde senshi was gone. Birhan glanced around the battle, but when no flash of black-and-yellow could be seen, she had to assume that Alkaid had fled. Possibly for reinforcements.
Cursing, Birhan waved away a young cadet who had been approaching with the syringe for Alkaid. Birhan wove her way through the winding-down battlefield, looking for Ares. She spied their leader, complete with tranqed Tanzanite, but both vanished inside a smoke cloud of Ares' making. Birhan had no desire to throw herself into that attack again, once in Elysion had been enough.
Unable to report to Ares that their time was now limited, Birhan did the next best thing. She turned and scanned the remaining skirmishes with an eye to see who was taking too long and could best use her help.
