Carry let out a yawn and stretched in her chair. Looked like everyone else was in a tizzy about all this. Bah, and she could only have one piece of luggage. So she would need a bathing suit, shoes, change of clothes, hair pieces... And since minipets were not allowed, Amethyst would have to stay home (much to the crow's dismay). Standing up, the demoness was about to leave when she spotted the telltale... tail... of a certain redheaded werewolf. Ah, someone she knew on the boat, yes~ Carthusia wandered over to LW and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Want to meet up before the boarding? I'm not a super early riser, but Jack... does it really have to be that early in the morning? I need time to pack." she grumbled sympathetically.

Sheridan had been, as he often was, absorbed in thought. Although this time there were two distinct thoughts going through his head, one being how to keep his hel-lion from eating his room while he was gone, the other was how on earth he was going to manage to take any books with him on a -boat- and have them not get ruined by the water. Stuck on a boat without his books? His tail gave an irritated twitch at the thought. At least there would still be stars, right? Unless of course, it rained... Being absorbed in thought as he was, it should come as no surprise that he was somewhat startled when he was spoken to, perhaps it had taken him a moment to realize it was indeed him she was addressing. Turning to face her, his mouth curved in a slight smile, a polite gesture. "I am certainly no more so." He may have spoken more loudly than he intended to in his attempt to be heard over the crowd.

"Aldara." She thrust her hand out to him, having been told that it was one way to greet people 'politely' when interacting with others. The introduction hadn't been asked for, no, but the harpy needed to feel like she knew at least someone in this great, big place of nothingness. "And you don't look like a Calder or a Jove... So unless, by some amazing chance, you're a Thackery, Draven or Charlie I'm going to go assume you're not on the fifth boat." Straight, relatively to the point, and still watching him with eyes the color of a stormy sea while waiting for some sort of further reaction. The feathers on her arms ruffled a bit before smoothing back out, bold stance softening just a little. "... Not that there's anything wrong with any of those names, really, they just don't seem like they'd suit you."

When her skelephone started to sound, Lizzy excused herself and released Amrita's hands to take it out. As she opened her inbox and read the new message, her face fell visibly before she clicked on the 'reply' button; while it was sad, this would probably be the last time they were going to see each other for a while...
'I'm on Boat 5! )8 Are you in the auditorium now? I'm with Amrita and Jericho near the back - join us? <3'
Pressing the button to send out the text to Tess, she sighed, "I wonder how long the boat ride will be..." That'll be the number of days she won't be seeing her friends! Glancing at the hand out again, her eyes widened as she noticed a name that was familiar; she had been upset enough to miss it before, but it was clearly there! Boat 5!
"Oh, Charlie's on my boat..." She stated, blinking before looking up at Amrita, and then Jericho, and then Amrita again. She then paused momentarily, "Uh... Hm..." Part of her was glad, but... Should she go help him pack, just in case?

Sheridan blinked once, watching her for a moment before taking the offered hand. He shook his head, no, none of those names were his (though whether that made her a good guesser or not he wasn't sure). "Sheridan. I'm on boat four." Boat four with Red, he wasn't sure how he felt about that. He held nothing against werewolves (or any other creature for that matter, after all there was far too much in the universe to waste one's energy on anything so petty as prejudice), but he was quite certain she could have eaten his face off if she so chose. Better stay on her good side then, or at least not get on her bad side. "I suppose that means you're on boat five?" It was a reasonable deduction.

For the most part, Jericho didn't mind that Amrita was on the phone as he had approached her. He just waited for her to finish, then nodded as she said he was the only one she'd seen on their boat so far. Hearing another familiar voice, he saw Lizzy approaching them, giving her a friendly wave as she came by.
"Don't worry, I'll keep an eye on her," he nodded to the demon, taking note of the hint of concern she had for the undead girl, "You better take care too though."
Looking back up and around, he tried to see if he could spot any of the others on their boat. Not too far off, he saw Yui wandering about so he raised an arm to try and call for her attention. If there were others around as well, he either hadn't spotted them yet or didn't know what they looked like.

Sin was thrilled, beyond thrilled, because if she HAD to go on another school fieldtrip at least she could do it in style. She was assigned to Mrs Winters boat and that was the etiquette professor. She was a demon to boot so Sin would feel just like she was on her parents yacht. She grinned when she saw some demon ghouls she knew and liked on the same boat as she was. Alcie her dear friend and Vivi a demoness she had only recently met, but liked quite a bit already despite her odd quirks. Yes this would do wonderfully...of course, she frowned slightly as she looked at the assignments.
She winced when she saw Rosciel on Boat #2 with...Arachne, oh jack. Well she trusted Rosc wouldn't be an a**, he did know Arachne was her friend after all, and more importantly a fellow Lucky 13 member. She wished he had been on her boat, it would have been nice to spend more time together. Ah well, it wasn't like they were 'official' or anything...at least not publicly. In her head she still had the incredibly bad habit of referring to him as 'her raven'.
She had been preparing for this trip with enthusiasm, a boat ride after all was not like a train trip into snowy horrible winter wilderness. She had even bought some nautical themed outfits to wear. She thought of poor Calder and frowned that he wasn't on her boat, it would have been nice if she could be there to encourage him. If he was even allowed to come? She spotted his name and nodded, poor Calder. Ah well again.
She turned to try and find a seat looking around hoping to spot Rosc, if he had even come? Large social groups and crowds like this weren't exactly his thing.

Maritess had been keeping an attentive eye on her skelephone, hoping for a response from either of her friends. The instant she received Lizzy's response, her wings began to flap harder to lift her up over most of the other students. What better way to spot where her friends were, after all. Then again, she hoped the other students wouldn't think to look up as she flew overhead. (Blouses were tantamount to wearing a skirt when you're all waist up.)
Spotting Lizzy, Amrita, and Jericho, Tess lowered herself back down. Or eye-level, at least. "Lizzy, are you and Amrita on the same boat?" she asked, assuming the spider demoness was answering on the vetala's behalf. "And, um, hi, Jericho," she greeted, not wanting to be rude to the boil who had been Lizzy's scarentines date. "What boat number are you on?"

No doubt he would have done so without her saying it, but she was relieved to hear it from Jericho at least. She smiled at the boil, "I'll take your word for it!" Having someone reliable around does make a difference since all the teachers can be rather... Iffy at times, if the Christmas Raid was any indication. She wasn't pinning much hope on the ToTers either... If anything, it seemed like they were just there for the ride - why were they going with them on a school field trip anyway?
"I will," She gave a firm nod, blushing lightly, rather touched (and happy) that he was concerned about her well-being, "For starters, I'll be staying 2 feet away from Calder, just in case he tries anything..." She looked thoughtful for a moment before adding, remembering his 'condition', "And I doubt he'll dare try anything..." She frowned lightly, but quickly lightened up again at the sound of a familiar voice.
Looking up, it didn't take her long to spot the owner of the voice, and she grinned, "Tess!" Shaking her head at the question, she pouted, "Ah, no... I'm on Boat 5 and Amrita is on... Uh, Boat 1? Yup, but I think she'll be well taken care of! Which boat are you on?"

Nodding once again, Jericho looked up to see Tess approaching their little group. Waving at her, he quickly turned his attention back towards Lizzy. He didn't really know the history of Calder and her, but he wasn't a fan of the Kelpie due to how grating the guy was on Riley's nerves. At the very least she wasn't on that boat as well. Without him or Malodore there with her to help settle her down, getting the mindflayer angry would be... dangerous.
"If he does, I'll fly over to your boat and take him down," he huffed while shifting his wings. The cuts in them had healed for the most part, but he actually wasn't sure if he should be flying around just yet. Still, it was a nice thought.

Bul heard Seiji's call and immediately turned head to see him amongst the crowd. This time, unlike the dance, he pushed his way over to his friend and sighed. "Man, sucks we didn't get a ride together. Not that it matters in the end I imagine if we all go to the same place right?" he laughed.
He placed his hands in his pockets and glanced around. "You didn't really get anyone you know did ya?" he said. "I wonder if you can convince them for tradsies... or just show up on a different boat." He smirked knowing that would only get a one way ticket back to the school rather than a trip to wherever the hell they were going.

"I'm on boat seven," Tess answered, double-checking her list just to make sure she read it correctly. "Awww, I'm no longer just not-happy about our lists. I'm plain sad," she pouted. The winged ghoul was definitely not looking forward to this trip.
At Jericho's mention of flying over to Lizzy's boat and taking a certain "him" down, Tess gave Lizzy, Amrita, and of course Jericho a quizzical look. "Who're you talking about?" she asked.

The harpy nodded slowly, drawing her hand back once it had been shaken so that she could run her fingers back through tangled raven-black locks. "I'm afraid I don't know anyone on that particular boat, though... Or anyone at all, really." Her grin was wry, probably at least partially jaded in knowing that her parents would send her so far away from everything she had known just to surround her with things that she didn't. "My application was just recently accepted. I was hustled here before I got much of a chance to get settled in... Do things like this happen often?"

Calder wasn't happy about this trip. Well, he would have been if certain things hadn't been playing on his mind. The idea of being on a boat surrounded by water was exciting, and if it had been just him and other water dwellers, it really would have been a vacation. However, he was going to be with other students and faculty, on a boat, surrounded by water. This could spell disaster, and he had been nervous ever since e found the letter posted on his door.
Moving to the bleachers, the kelpie was holding his arms, eyes wide and glancing about. He was sure everyone would want him kicked off the boat if he showed up, but he breathed deep. Sin had been helping him. They practiced this water thing together. He……he might do alright? He hoped so. He had to.
When the little rundown was done and over and the lists given, Calder looked down to the buried deeps and hoped he got someone he knew. Flipping the paper over, he looked down. Past Bath. Malodore. Riley (Thank the great rivers!). Past Christof (:C). To Boat 5. He knew no one there except for one person. One person he was not thrilled to have on a boat with him because he had once tried to drown her before and because he knew she didn't know how to swim. Despite apologizing and helping her out once before since then, he doubted she would be thrilled to see him paired up with her. He wasn't exactly either. "Ohh, this is bad." He didn't even have anyone as support. With a large frown, Calder looked up with wide eyes and looked out. He couldn't even bring Fester for the ride! Some vacation!

"Aw..." Was all Lizzy could manage really, as she started to turn rather red faced at Jericho's words... At least, before she realized that it would probably be unwise to attack a fellow student, no matter the circumstances, unless you were a teacher. With that, she raised a hand to wave it dismissively, chuckling softly, "While I appreciate the thought, I'm sure that I'll be fine! I can take care of myself." She gave what she hoped was a reassuring nod.
"Tesssss, it'll be fine!" She wrapped her into a hug before pulling Amrita closer so that it was now a group hug, one arm around each of her friends' shoulders, "I'll be on the lookout for both of you the moment the boats dock! Until then, at least we'll be looking at the same sky~" It was dramatic enough for her to say something romantic, although she wasn't sure if she regretted it immediately after the words left her mouth since it was pretty mushy... And Jericho was still there. Oops.
"Oh! We were talking about Calder," She leaned back from the hug, her tone turning serious as she tried to divert their attention from her earlier romantic-ish comment, "After he attempted to drown me during detention, we made up, but... Uh, I don't really want to have history repeat itself." She smiled sheepishly; she was sure he didn't want to be on the same boat as her either.
