Why. Was. This. Class. SO BOOOOORING!?

The thoughts kept rushing through her head over and over again. Suddenly the only thing she could think of was the fact she was bored and misserable. So soon she was laying face down taking a nap when the teacher slammed her desk.

"Eh test?" Sitting up she yawned scribbling on the test as best as she could winging most of it as best as she could before sliding the page to the edge of her desk.

"Sleeping during a test, not a bright idea really."

B) Well. He got me into this mess, he might as well help me out. I'm going to cheat and look at the demon's paper and copy the answers!

Oh, Jack, this wasn't good. She really shouldn't have stayed up late playing that new dating game on the ScareStation. Even if it had been fun. Well - the demon might have stayed awake. She hoped. Siddie peeked carefully over at his quiz, copying his answers carefully, but throwing in a different one now and then, just so the quizzes wouldn't be totally identical.

C) *snaps fingers* Darn! That will show me! I guess I better answer to the best of my ability.

A pop quiz? Riley rolled her eyes. She didn't seem too worried - in fact, she probably could have slept through most classes and still aced any pop quizes they threw her way. She was very good at educated guesses and process of elimination.

Katania sighed at the announcement of the pop quiz. She hated surprise anything, especially schoolwork. The odd thing was, she liked this class, so she was prepared for the most part, but surprised that she'd fallen asleep. Oh well, she was smart enough, taking each question as it came, the new guy already from her mind.

Well.
Draven wasn't too pleased about falling asleep...but it just happens sometimes, ya know? The temperature of the room, the monotone of the teacher's voice, the subject matter, the fact that he stayed up half the night doing nothing...it all adds up.

He cast a quick glance at the new kid, feeling bad that this was how his first class and first day were going. Not much that could be done. Draven wished him luck as he dove into his own pop quiz...hoping the material wouldn't be too foreign.

If looks could turn a man to stone (oh wait they could) and Cherry had been a Gorgon, the demon next to her would have been stone-cold dead with no chance of moving dorms over with the other undead. She'd helped him to classes and not made an issue of the fact that he'd sat next to her without even so much as considering that she might not have wanted the company!

The least he could have done was help keep her awake or warn her that the professor was onto her. Not like it was her fault anyway. Idiot Matthias had kept her up all night helping him with his homework. What a moron. And then the Scareons had cooed for the rest of the night.

Cooed.

Why did she even keep them? Eyes drifted over to the kid next to her who looked...well he looked like he knew what he was doing. He hadn't kept her awake and got her into this mess anyway, he was going to help get her grades up. Cherry knew that her parents were already ashamed and disgraced by the fact that she was bound to a Reaper in the first place. If her grades sank they would cut her off entirely and that would be awful.

Beyond awful.
