She looked at the picture, "Thankyou Tora-san." She turned and added the final bright yellows and creams to finish ff the reflection from the sun. She still had more to paint but she'd finished the girl in the center now she began to add a small wooden bridge and water with lillies and Sakura trees n the background making the bright red and violet of the woman's kimono stand out even more and the black parasole. She took longer to be sure she had everything right picturing herself there as she cleaned one brush and switched to a different color using calm and simple brush strokes to make intricat desings on the water and greass attempting to show movement and tranquility in her painting.

Satoharu gets out a canvas andsome paints and begins to paint a black and red dragon in a gray sky. She starts with making the sky mixing white and black to get the gray she wants and paints from the middle out she waits awhile for the gray to dry. She gets some black paint starts on the dragon making her lines careful and puts in all the details that are supossed to be black and waits for it to dry.

Tora makes another round around the classroom. She stops and looks at Satoharu's work. "Very nice detail," she compliments. She moves in closer and examins the dragon's body. "Evey scale," she smiles. "Nice work!" Tora pats her on the shoulder and walks back to the front. She works on her own painting.
Tora was one kind who didn't believe in how other teahcers taught. Sh believed in getting involved and do what the other students did. Now, granted, some subjects you couldn't help but do that, like dance and tea manners and such. So Tora is right in the middle with her students. She loved to paint and liked to show it.

Satoharu goes back to work on her painting she lays the painting down and starts adding the red. For the scales she lay's it on thick so it seems that it's coming out of the canvas.

Luna was now adding her highlights on the parasol and the Geisha's hair, she finished the dragon and flower desing on the Parasol and the intricate desings on the visible bits of the kimono. Lastly she touched up thw clouds being careful not to smudge any of the pain though she'd lket it take time to dry inbetween colors she always left it a little wet to blend other colors that were needed. This reminded her so muhc of home Luna seemed to have forgotten her surroundings and was focussed ont he image remembering when she was first learning to pain with her mother's oils, though at first she hadn't been very good but over time she'd oreacticed the same techniquies over and voer until she got them down pat. Now the countless hours of playing with oils had paid off.

Tora smiled at her students. "Okay everyone: you've done a great job! It's time to call it a day. Now tomorrow, please remember to bring a picture, or sketch, for your landscape. We'll finish up our paintings while I'll tell you what I'd like to see used on your landscape. Have a nice day everyone!" she smiled. "I'll be here after class if anyone has questions about something."

Luna entered the class she had the picture in her mind she wanted to paint, it had been beautiful and since there were no people in the picture she figured it would be much easier. Siting down she immediatly check to ensure her brushes were completely clean and that she had every color she needed for her painting. Satisfied she sat calmly figuring how she would set up the picture and tones, Luna did this often and though she had onl just joined it was easy to see she was the kind that came ot classes early to ensure she was prepared.

Tora enters her classroom and sees she has a student already there, it was Luna. "Good morning Luna!" Tora greets the young girl with a smile. "How are you today?" she asks, walking over to her desk, laying a stack of magazine clippings on it. "Alright!" she smiles. Tora walks around and draws back the curtains and opens the windows to air out the room. She the goes to her desk and lights incense smelling of jasmine. She then sits down and waits for her students.

Arikku entered and bowed to Tora.
"Ohayo Gozaimasu, Sensei." she said with a smile on her face.
She found her spot and set up. She couldn't wait to get started.
