Alas! I'll have to check on this tomorrow before work then, since I'm on EST, unless I can't sleep for the suspense.

CHAOS ADVISOR COWABUNGA
Player’s Name: Dulcea Zahama’s Name: Saengdao (Thai for "starlight" because I imagined her as someone flickering and slowly travelling the course of their moral compass) House: Atmaja Rank: Zahama Rehoming Clause: By entering this RP contest I consent to having read all of the rules and guidelines. I know that the success of the meta is dependent on whether or not she's played. If, for whatever reason, I can not be around to fulfill this responsibility, I hereby agree to let Honey Gee find a more suitable home in whatever way she sees fit. Personality: Saengdao understands the way the world works even if she doesn't always agree with the terms. In private she has a very short fuse, often prone to outbursts. They rarely turn violent and she will never allow herself to fall to her temper in view of the public or Sahen. She does harbor some residual guilt about the way her family situation turned, and feels partially responsible for how Quella turned out. While she is disgusted by the conditions the pride has fallen to her fear of Quella and Sahen often overwhelms her morality. This has only become truer since the birth of her daughter. Her concern for Nandi's safety has begun to conflict with her desire to do her job, and it worries her. She increasingly feels as if she is reaching some grand precipice and has become withdrawn at times, expelling those around her as she becomes subject to alternating fits of depression and mania. Her internal conflicts will cause migraines, which might cause her to be unduly terse toward those around her. Eventually I'd like to see this cause a resurgence of conflict between her and Quella, not to conflict with the meta plans. Her judgment will begin to fray, and she will hit a point during the meta where she breaks completely while in one of her isolated fits. The way she turns will depend on the plans for her in the meta. Prompt Response: You do all you can for them, and yet they ask for more. Saengdao massaged her temples as she sat at the crest of the eye, looking out over the pridelands. It had been a reckless thing Nandi had done, bringing that girl to her. The Ligi were not the sort to ask questions first and the mere appearance of impropriety could endanger them all. She should have known better but she obviously didn't. She was too passionate for her own good, and passion these days could be a death sentence. How could she explain that in such simple terms when her own daughter was staring her in the face, begging her to make a difference? It was poison no matter how one chose to take it.
Saengdao had taken it in the form of Nandi's disappointment, but a darker side had emerged in the heat of the moment. The request had enraged her, that Nandi had thought to guilt her by bringing the girl before her? It was unthinkable. Her throat filled with bile remembering, she had nearly called the guard. Had she fallen so low that she would condemn her own to ensure another day? No, she wouldn't let that day come. She had sent them away under the guise of an errand, telling those that asked that Nandi had brought the girl as a potential apprentice and that she would not be seen near the eye again. The explanation had seemed to satisfy, but she worried. Should news of the incident reach Quella it would be scrutinized much more closely, Nandi herself might be questioned.
She had taken too many chances, it may have been better after all if the girl had disappeared under the cover of night. Neither she nor Nandi knew how closely the general population was being monitored by the Ligi and it was no guarantee that one would go unnoticed. It wouldn't have stayed one either, if Nandi were anything like she herself had been in her youth. Had they been successful many more would have come, and she would have been obligated to help them all until she was caught.
It was better that she remain here as the Zahama. What little influence she had now was better than the shame she would draw if she were to be caught. Their deaths would mean nothing but a victory for the Shatkona, and a new puppet placed at his side. She would not give a few individuals freedom at the cost of the remaining liberties of all the Ashnai'le. In time Nandi would come to understand her reasoning. There could be nothing done if she didn't. Regrettable as Saengdao found the thought of her daughter despising her, she felt sound in her actions. They would go on to live another day. If they were lucky and held their solidarity, someday Sahen would lose the throne. She knew she may not see it in her own lifetime, or Nandi's, but the time would come eventually and that was a thought worth holding onto.

CHAOS ADVISOR
Player’s Name: Christopher Johnson Zahama’s Name: Asali Moto - "Honey Fire" House: Atmaja Rank: Zahama Rehoming Clause: By entering this RP contest I consent to having read all of the rules and guidelines. I know that the success of the meta is dependant on whether or not she's played. If, for whatever reason, I can not be around to fulfill this responsibility, I hereby agree to let Honey Gee find a more suitable home in whatever way she sees fit.
Personality:
Asali is a sweet, passionate lioness. In her youth she was fiery, a girl who loved to love (and fought her sister with careless abandon). Although she loved deeply, she was a bit fickle and easily distracted. She took no mate and broke several hearts. Since the birth of her daughter, she calmed a bit. Asali discovered in herself the capacity for another kind of love - motherly love. As she has grown older and ever more deeply attached to the Atmaja she considers her 'children', Asali has learned to fear for their safety. The wild storms of her youth have mostly come to an end, and she bears deep regrets for those she hurt and estranged, like poor lost Quella. If only she had sought to understand Quella, rather than fight her, she believes Quella might be at her side now.
Prompt Response:
In her own youth, Asali would have stood by her daughter in defying the tyrant. She had lived the moment in her dreams many times. Careless and laughing, she would have launched herself at Sahen's throat and borne him down. She had been reckless then, and would have reckoned the loss of her own life a small price to pay for Sahen's downfall.
But life had taught her that things were not so simple. She watched her daughter as Nandi spoke, her heart heavy with sorrow. Asali could counsel her not to act, but would youth listen? Nandi was so like her as a girl - honey and fire. And if Asali told her not to help the innocent lioness, was Asali any better than those who had been broken by Sahen's reign?
She had responsibilities to more than a single lioness, to more even than her precious daughter. If she aided the lioness in escaping, how could she hope to aid her pride in the future? Sahen would fall, she knew that, but she would not leave his side. She feared that removing even one sane voice from the Shatkona's ear would lead to even more suffering among the people.
Asali was silent for a moment, her head bowed as she thought. "I can not help you, daughter," she said finally. She raised her head and met Nandi's eyes. It was difficult to look into her daughter's eyes, but her gaze was unwavering. "I am the Zahama. I am responsible for the Atmaja." She turned from her daughter then, unable to watch any longer. "Go if you will, but I cannot help you if they catch you." She felt a bit more of her youthful spirit wither, but Asali would not change her mind. The fire in her died a little more with every passing day. Asali had become accustomed to it by now.

COWABUNGA CHAOS ADVISOR
Player’s Name: Animechickie Zahama’s Name: Anamitra (or Mitra for short. Indian girl name meaning the sun.) House: Atmaja Rank: Zahama Rehoming Clause: By entering this RP contest I consent to having read all of the rules and guidelines. I know that the success of the meta is dependant on whether or not she's played. If, for whatever reason, I can not be around to fulfill this responsibility, I hereby agree to let Honey Gee find a more suitable home in whatever way she sees fit. Personality: Mitra is a feisty, passionate lioness to put it simply. From her family to her pride, she would do anything for them but unfortunately with the current status of the pride and what has happened to her sister, Mitra had developed a thick skin. From constant battling with her sister, Quella and Sahen's cruel rule, Mitra learned the hard way about the reality of the world but that has only made her more passionate about life. Mitra has developed a great sense of duty and honor to her pride and she cares deeply about them. She could never be as violent or aggressive as her sister but Mitra has a fiery temper and a quick tongue as a result of their constant battling. Though with Sahen's rule, Mitra's been forced to put up a facade and it takes all of her strength to not lash out somehow. With every passing day a persistent flame deep within her soul continues to push her limits. She fears that she may snap from the pressure someday.
As a mother, Mitra has projected her maternal instincts not only on her daughter but the entire pride. She feels that it is her duty to help everybody given the position that she was in. Prompt Response: Every day, constantly checking her temper and playing by Sahen's rules had finally taken its toll on the golden lioness. How could she let this happen? Mitra could have never foreseen the events that had unfolded in the past few days. She had always tried to look away when her daughter, Nandi, spoke about overthrowing Sahen even though it worried her greatly. She could not even bear the thought of losing Nandi. Mitra liked to think that she was protecting Nandi somehow but Nandi somehow always seemed to do something that would increase the chances of an early death for both of them. This request was no exception.
Smuggling a lion out of the pride seemed almost impossible at this point especially with how strict the Ligi had become. When Nandi came to her asking for help, Mitra almost completely lost control. Hadn't she done everything for her daughter to make sure that she stayed alive? She was putting up with Sahen's rule with the hope that someday they could live in peace and harmony again. Maybe it wouldn't happen in her lifetime but as long as there was just a tiny bit of hope, Mitra would continue to fight.
Long ago, Mitra had accepted the fact that it was her duty to remain the Zahama regardless of all of the pain that she had to endure. If she were to be killed, Mitra was absolutely sure that Sahen would place one of his puppets in her place or even worse, he would pick Quella. If that were to happen, there would be no hope for her daughter or the pride. There was a part of Mitra that realized that her sister and her destinies had been intertwined since they were born whether either of them liked it or not. Mitra knew that if it came down to the well-being of the pride or her daughter, she would be the one that had to deal with her sister even though she guessed that it would be the end of them both. Nobody else could do it and she had sensed long ago that it was her duty to the pride.
"I cannot help you Nandi." The feeling of absolute hopelessness and guilt overwhelmed her the moment she uttered those words to her daughter. Mitra knew that she could not help her daughter or the lioness knowing that she still needed to help the pride. Someday, Nandi would understand.
