I don't care about the peopleI don't care about the world.I just care about the money.Divai continued to stare into Jaks eyes with a crazed lust for blood and death. The claws of her mechanical arms were dripping blood. She noticed the serious expression on his face, somewhat inching closer to him, still baring her teeth with a completely devilish smile across her lips. She chuckled and didn't seem intimidated at all, her claws extending slightly more as he could her the claws coming out of her mechanical arms , making a slight metal scraping noise. She looked over to his arms. Her light blue cyborg eye twisted and got smaller and bigger, zooming in on the platings. A light woman voice could be heard from the eye piece "Unknown device, unknown device." The maniac smile slightly faded from her lips, but this did not stop her. "Piece of ******** junk.." She said still having a crazed tone in her voice. She then laughed loudly when he said he didn't want to fight. "But- fightings so fun! It makes the blood rush and makes me feel alive!" She said as she got up and stood out straight, and spread out her arms wide, looking into the sky. She began a maniacally laugh but was cut off. She sniffed the air, looking over slowly, seeing Ludeza crawling. The look on her face became more crazed as she jumped off the rock and began to walk over. She stopped completely, with one foot in front of the other. Turning quickly again seeing Jade waving. Her eyes widened as she looked rapidly back and forth at Ludeza and Jade, and even at the strange new blonde hooded male. Her cat-like eye streaks began to fade from red back to black/blue, then back to red. Her claws slowly retracted as she groaned in pain. Once the claws were gone, she grabbed her head with both of her hands, holding tightly. "Please.. R- Run.. I don't know how long I can hold it back.." Divai said as her voice cracked from her normal voice to crazed and back to normal. She shook her head side to side and let out a painfilled scream before collapsing to the ground, twisting and turning, tightening her grip on her head.

Hearing the change in the woman's voice and the change in her eyes, Jak could tell there was some struggle going on with her. Unknowing to whatever was going on, Jak knew that if he ran, he could get shot in the back. Not taking that chance, he took some steps back and stopped to keep a fair distance from her, pulling out his handgun but keeping it lowered to his side, sleeves still up and said "Run? And take the chance of being shot in the back? No, thanks."
Reaching into his bag with his left hand, he grabbed a grenade of some sort. "Regain your composure, and get that crazed look out your eyes. I may not be a friend, but I'm not an enemy either, at least not yet. The grenade I just pulled out is a makeshift stun grenade. It'll produce a light so bright that even that little eye of yours won't be able to see me." Using the distance he created between him and her as an advantage, Jak continued saying "Make a move toward me, and I'll throw this grenade at you before you even come close to me, and open fire. You aren't that fast."

Ludeza PhallanxHe saw it all. Jade coming back to herself, and that grimace on her face. Divai coming back to herself, and seeming to be fighting with herself. He thought about if the fighting did that to him, he couldn't remember because of his blacking out and completely tearing those wolves to pieces. He shook his head, then remembered he was hiding. He kept his composure and stayed silent. Listening to every word being said. Divai telling them all to run, before she can do anything else, and this stranger with the grenade. He decided to stay in hiding until there was a safer and better opportunity for him to interfere, if he even needed to. He shivered a little at the idea of Divai being blown to pieces, as she was one of his new friends. He hated to admit it, but he actually trusted these people. Well, except for this new guy. He still wondered where the wolves came from, surely one of them would've smelled one of the wolves or something, but no they completely surrounded them. Thank god noone was hurt, save for Jade. She was clearly having a hard time with her hand and everytime she moved she grimaced, it looked limp. Real limp. He realized the bandages in his bag, but alas he needed to stay calm and in hiding. Who knows how this will turn out?

You Spin Me Right Round Baby Right Round...♥ She forced herself to ignore the pain as she continued to run towards Divai and the new stranger. She stopped herself as she just barely heard Divai yelling at them to retreat. She then listened as the other man threatened to use some sort of smoke grenade on her. Her eyes slightly widened as she ran closer to the and then stood feet away from the man, her arm dripping from the hounds blood, and hers from her hand. "Divai! What happened??" She said, still not exactly sure what had happened. Whatever it was that snapped her out of her bloodrage, it did not look so grand, especially on Divai. She then looked to the man with the grenade and other weapons. "What do you think you're doing?? That's not going to help at all!" She yelled to him, coming up to him and standing in between him and the boulder where Divai stood on as she seemed to be fighting something. "Comon Divai. The wolves are dead. It's alright now. " She said, attempting to calm her down. She could see something familiar in Divai's eye, something she couldnt quite put her finger on.

I don't care about the peopleI don't care about the world.I just care about the money. She look over to the stranger, her teeth grinding against against eachother as the blue/black part of her normal eyes began to become more frequent and controlling. She was panting heavily, glaring at this blonde male. "I'm.. I'm.. not going to shoot you.. I don't have the strength to even grip my guns anymore. I feel so weak.." She said as she began to rapidly cough, slightly coughing bits of blood. She got on her knees, and attempted to push herself to get up, but feel right back down. "U-- Ugh.." She turned from being on her stomach to her back with her arms spread out, panting heavily. She ignored the males threaten with the grenade, knowing that it wasn't going to happen because she wasn't going to bother. She was mostly in control now, but still slightly out of it. She then flinched and looked over to Jade as she had just ran up. Her eyes closed and she smiled softly. "I'm.. Not sure.. I lost myself.." She said as she turned her head straight and looked into the sky, seeing the stars, her smile was soft and kind. She could hear Jade trying to defend her, her eyes closed as she heard Jade move in front of the man, looking over at the confrontation of them both, her smile fading and wondering what would be said or happen next.

[[Just so you guys know, it's not a real grenade, it's just a stun grenade that stuns people with light > >]]
Not budging an inch when the new girl walked up to him, he looked at her and at the other girl on the rock, who he now knew as Divai, noticing she was pretty exhausted. Believing what she said about being too weak to do anything Jak decided to place some trust in them for now and put the stun grenade back into his bag. Releasing his grip on his gun, he reached back into his bag and pulled out some bandages and tossed it to Jade. "Maybe that will show you I'm not an enemy. And if your friend is hiding somewhere, you can tell him to come out. I know there's 3 of you." The protective plates along his arms as well as the other small skin-embedded plates were shining in the moonlight, so Jak pulled down his sleeves, keeping attention off them.

Ludeza PhallanxHe walked out of the darkness where he was hiding, letting the moonlight shine off of his silver and black hair. He looked at the stranger, whom he was to the right of. The man looked formidable for this kind of climate, almost as if he was made for it. He then saw the plates on his arms and his eyes became fierce. He knew hardship also, he thought. They all did, in their own ways. He thought of the possibilities that could happen with 4 people and began to think of rebuilding an entire city. Sure there wasn't much wood or anything, but houses can be made from stone quite easily. Or even dug out of the side of the cliff. He waved his hand calmly and called out to the man. "So uh, what's your name tough guy? We appreciate the help and all, but if you dont share some info with us we can't really trust you. I'm Ludeza by the way."

You Spin Me Right Round Baby Right Round...♥ Jade looked up to Divai and then she turned her head to see the man tossing her some bandages for her arm. She caught them with her good hand and put them in her pocket for the moment. She then jumped as high as she could against the boulder and then scurried herself to the top, digging her nails into the rock and climbing up as fast as she could. When she got to the top she looked over at Divai hunched over and she patted her back. She sat next to Divai and then pulled out the bandaging and started to wrap her wounded hand. It still hurt like hell, and she would flinch every movement she made trying to cover it up. She made a note to herself to bring some bandaging herself around when she journeys like this again. That was something she did not have. Her attention turned to where Ludeza showed himself and finally introduced who he was, and demanded who this other man was. She was glad that this did not turn into one horrible large fight between the only few survivors that seem to be at least in this area. Her eyes somehow wondered off to Divai, where she could see something different about her arms. She thought about when she saw her in her odd state, and it looked like she had.. claws.. of some sort. This made an uneasy feeling in her stomach because now the claws were gone and she was like she was when they first met; sort of. She kept her eyes off of Divai and her mind still locked on that, wondering what kind of person Divai was in the first place..
((we know it is, but Jade wasnt really aware of it all that much. She doesnt really know how it works exactly, hence why she said so ))

I don't care about the peopleI don't care about the world.I just care about the money.Divai put her hand to her head, holding her hand over her mechanical eye as if she was trying to hide its very existence. Her golden human eye sparkled in the moonlight, a light silver and gold color mixed together. Her eye closed and her smile somewhat returned, a kind heartwarming smile. She opened her eye once again as she saw the blonde male had pulled his sleeves down. She was curious on what the plates on his arms were, but she didn't bother asking, as if it was too much to speak for her right now. She then directed her attention. She heard the rock she was sprawled out on, with one arm covering her eye and on her head. Her eye shifted to Jade as she jump on the rock next to her. She straightened out her head and cringed and held her head tighter, digging her metal fingernails into her scalp skin but not enough to draw blood. "Ow.." She said groaning slightly, removing her hand from her head and laying it sprawled out like the rest of her limbs. She looked over at Jade, noticing she was bandaging her hand and could see how much it pained her. She weakly spoke "Are you alright..?" She said in a weak, exhausted tone. Her eye quickly shifted to Ludeza revealing himself openly. Her eye softened slightly as she turned to her side, sort of curling up where her knees were to her chest, and one arm over her head and the other under it. She dozed off into deep thought. She was wondering about these people. They made her happy, maybe even the new blonde one would. But she cringed a bit, her eye shutting softly and the smile being removed from her lips. She seemed a bit sad, and she was. She didn't know if it'd be a wise choice to even think of keeping even a small group together. It would attract attention, and possible be a big slow down to her. But at the same time, she was not longer lonely. She felt like she had friends. She felt complete. But would friends or life be more important to her? She wasn't sure. She had never had friends before, so the experiance was brand new to her. Her body began to relax and the tension in it faded away, she seemed to be completely relaxed now and very tired.

[[Oh, okay Greteh. I was just wondering.]]
As he was watching the short girl run to the one called Divai, Jak heard noise from his right, and as he was about to reach for his handgun, he noticed it was the other man. Calming his nerves, he listened as the man spoke. Putting his hands in his pockets, Jak answered the man "Ludeza, is it? Well, now I know all of you except the short one over there. My name is Jak, and you don't have to thank me, I'm just helping out since they didn't attack me and seem to be in a lot of pain. And you don't trust me, just as long as you don't stab me in the back, you have some trust from me. But, perhaps I can make an offering?" Looking in the direction where he dragged the boar, Jak pointed to it saying "If you're hungry, there's a nice, big boar over there that attacked me earlier. I would assume it'd taste better than the rice you were cooking. And before you ask me how I knew that, let me explain in case you didn't notice this yourselves: you were cooking rice in the middle of the night. The problem with that is not only are you visible because of the fire, but the smell of the rice gets carried by the wind, which I'm assuming was the reason those canines all found you, although I'm not 100% sure myself." Before he spoke too much, Jak went back to his silence and waited for Ludeza's response as he watched the short girl bandaging her hand.

You Spin Me Right Round Baby Right Round...♥ Her eyes shut tight as she finished up bandaging her hand. She looked to Divai when she asked if she was alright. "I'm fine. It just hurts like crazy, if you couldnt guess." She said with an exhausted chuckle. She then looked from Divai to the man that called himself Jak. Odd name, least to Jade. But she knew the rest of them werent much better. Very odd how they conveniently seemed to meet up all at once. "I'm Jade." She said, still not giving out her full name for some reason. She nodded at Jaks explaination. It did make sense, though she could not see how Rice smelled like anything; it did not have any sort of flavor. The thought of a boar wasnt so bad to eat, but she was not hungry, especially after all that had just happened. She noticed he seemed to eye her as she tied the Bandaging on her hand and ripped off the little bit that strayed. She flinched when she did so and her wounded hand curled into a fist as it was painful. She took a deep breath and then calmed herself down with a sigh, her body relaxing and she sat back on her good hand and her legs started to kick in the air, as she was trying to keep the pain out of her mind. She then wondered how Jak had taken care of a boar, if it was him in the first place. And those wolves too. Very curious at the same time. "I dont know if it was the rice that lured the Wolves. Those things looked like they were from past the Cliffs. " She said as she pointed in that direction with her wounded hand, then dropped it back to her lap. "Thats a long way for them to travel here for some unflavored seeds." She tilted her head wondering why they would have gone so far from where mutants usually live, unless something was very wrong.

Ludeza PhallanxHis hands lay limp at his sides as he leaned against one of the taller rocks, almost to his neck. His eyes were closed as he listened intently to what they were saying. He was feeling very sympathetic for the two, considering he was the only one of the three that didn't get hurt. Jade's hand, and Divai's eye and other injuries. He was worried for them but they had worse matters at hand; Where the wolves came from. He immediately thought about his descent and the loud amount of noise it made, considering he's fought wolves like these before. And right beyond the cliff too, just like Jak said. His eye opened at hearing the word trust and shrugged, "If they trust you then so do I." He rested his eye again as Jade began to speak about her hand, and realized she was talking to Divai only. He piped out but could only worry for her. "The wolves might've come from the cliff I dropped off of" he said uneasily as the silence began to become heavy, "sometimes when i traveled alone i would fight entire packs of these wolves, but never this many at once. I dont know why or what they're collecting for. But we need to find out, with or without you Jak. So you can choose to help us, or be on your way. Your promise of food is tempting and we have shelter. Real shelter, not just a measly tarp or anything else you might find. Buildings, with coverable doors for protection. Only, i worry with all of these bodies around. The wolves might come 'round looking for their brethren. So, What should we do?" He rested back onto the rock, realizing he had straightened and became highly saddened at the thought of the wolves. If only he knew why...

I don't care about the peopleI don't care about the world.I just care about the money.Divai flinched, shooting up to where she was only sitting, her hands behind her holding her up and her eyes shot wide open as the man shot his hand towards his gun, as if she was immediately about to becoming defensive of protecting Ludeza. Once he had stopped, and noticed it was the Silver haired male, her body become calm and untensed her eyes returned to normal calmness. She looked awake hoping no one would have noticed her reaction. Her eyes kept on this blonde male, 'Jak' as he had stated his name. "I'm Divaina." She said as she turned her head straight and pushed her self up, standing up slowly, and standing up strong, trying to push off the pain in her body, cringing slightly as she was completely stood up, but tried to just ignore it. Her eyes turned to Jade. "I see. Well, I would offer you medicine, if I HAD any." She said as she looked up in the sky. Then turned her head back down to look at Jak, her smile fading from her mouth. "Ehm.. I'm not Hungry. " She said as she then snickered at the word 'Unflavored seeds.' her attention shifted to Jade, and sighed. "I could probably find the reason for the wolves migration here.." She said as her eyes shifted to the ground. She began to drift into thought, as Ludeza brought up about what to do with the bodies. "We could.. Well. Burn them I guess. Not sure.." She said as she stretched out and leaped high into the air, doing a flip before landing directly next to Ludeza. "What's wrong, Ludeza? You look a bit down." She said as she looked at him , her eyes softened with a concerned expression.

Waiting for each of them to finish what they had to say, Jak answered them all at once "While it's the choice of all of you to trust me, it is your choice, and while I don't mind tagging along with wherever you're going or whatever you're doing, I'll be fine either way, alone or not. I'm also pretty sure the canines could smell the rice, or at least knew that there was someone about, because that fire sticks out like a sore thumb, and rice or not, food has smell, especially to an animal with a keen sense of smell. I couldn't smell it from where I was, but I could see it from my position at the time. As for the bodies of those wolves, I'd suggest moving them, but if you want to burn them, then you should at least keep them a distance away from your hideout. I have my own little hideout not too far away from here."
Right as he finished, he had remembered he had dropped his night vision goggles, and went over by the one calling herself Jade, and picked them up, saying "This is how I knew you three were cooking rice." pointing out the adjustable lens. Putting them back into his bag, he leaned against the rock staring at Divai and Jade's wounds and starting to wonder what they'd do about them.

Ludeza PhallanxHe listened to them intently and nodded as Jak spoke about the rice and the bodies of the wolves. "I dont know what to do with them, i was just making a suggestion. Burning them would be a waste of the matches i have. I only have 20 left and that might be for the rest of my life." Divai rebounded through the air and landed next to him, and he smiled slightly at her spectacle. His eyes slightly widened at her question. She obviously had some trust in him, and he in her. But did he fully trust her? He had to choose whether or not to put his full trust in her. "Nothing is, just a bit on my mind is all." He closed his eyes again, listening once again to Jak speak about his night vision goggles. He remembered all of his possessions that he had left behind once the apocalypse had started. Everything he had was either dust or in his bag, and anything there he guarded as if his life depended on it. He loved his possessions, and getting rare things. Rarest and most prescious of all was the gem enclosed in his pocket, the jewel from his mother. The jewel was obtained when his mom took a trip to Egypt, or what used to be Egypt. It was something she got on an expedition and the jewel was said to be very valuable, although many other valuable things were obtained on that expedition and the small jewel was a reward for her findings. He sighed. Thinking of his mom and his lost things made him feel down, almost empty even. But even then he had met these new people, and who knows, some of his family might still be alive, but as for now he had to do with the people he had met. These were his new friends and he trusted them well enough to turn his back on them and trust them not to kill him or put a knife in his bag and take all of his things. He stopped for a second to think if they actually would, but brushed the thought from his mind and tried to think about the positives of what had just happened. Besides jade's injury, all of them were pretty well off from the attack. He also wondered about that. The attack of the mutant wolves. Who were they and where did they come from? What had mutated them, the apocalypse? He didnt know, and even if he did there was no way he'd be able to fix what had happened to them. For all he knew the wolves he once knew and loved were gone. These were the new common animal. He chuckled. A NEW common, thats ironic he thought. He just wished that the old world was obtainable once again, and maybe it was. He kicked at the ground. This worthless dirt and sand is getting boring. He had never liked deserts, or cliffs. Mm, desserts. He thought about cake and cookies and all of the things he thought to be so ordinary. They were now a delicacy, worth even more than millions of pounds of gold, and he would kill for some. Maybe even rip off a limb. He thought about the girls, and if they could cook. He sighed. He had never known much different from this in his short life, but the days seemed so long and dreadful that his hope for a new world had all but faded.
