((I apologize for my long absence. We are now at the next meeting day so that we can everyone on the same page.))
Hunter grinned over at Marissa. It was the last class of the day before the second meeting of the Prodigy Club. The name had been her idea. Hunter had wanted to call it the Strategy and Tutoring Club or the Brainac Club. Marissa had convinced him otherwise. He saw the logic now it was just painful for him to admit he was wrong.

The class let out and they met up with Greg whom kissed Marissa sweetly. One day...One day I will have that... Hunter thought miserably as they headed to the classroom where the meeting was being held. Marissa caught onto his mood and said. "Hey least Kara will be there." He blushed and opened his mouth and closed it several times. He texted Kara to make sure she was coming. She was the third tutor after all.

Tom greeted Hunter amicably and Hunter completed the man-shake and then took his place at the front of the classroom. He had decided that on the days they tutored he would ask the club as a whole what they needed work on. He stood there less nervous than less time but still nervous waiting for the stragglers. He saw more faces than last time.

Alden chuckled a bit, wondering if he was just that imposing or if she was just that shy. "I promise I won't bite Maria if you look at me. Come! Relax, or do you have one last class today?" He gestured to one of the chairs that he had in the room, placing the cupcake he held down on his table as he sat down in his chair. He was trying to be as pleasant as possible and he had no idea if he was helping or anything with her. He ignored the itty bitty bit of his brain that was getting slightly frustrated because it was stupid to become so. She obviously couldn't help it, then again she might but he wasn't about to assume that, so there was no need to get angry at her or anything.

"I could make some tea or coffee if you'd like some?" He offered, starting to feel the itch for his after school cig, but he would ignore it for as long as possible considering he had a guest.

Kara's next week had been quite the roller coaster, and her calm had suffered for it. She almost got in a fight with a jock who tried to ask her out on a date and then didn't know what 'No' meant. The principle had been less than pleased at that, but she only gave her detention for it thankfully. At least she had gotten a few lovely nights at a couple of places she liked to perform at done. That had been one of her saving graces along with Amaya. Anything else she really had no patience for which she knew wasn't good at all.

Right now..... She was at an even keel for once. When her phone had vibrated once earlier in the day, she had almost dreaded who it was before she saw it was Hunter. She had answered him, and was just heading down from the roof. She had one headphone concealed in her ear, her hair hiding the chord while the rest was underneath her scarf and shirt. It was Evanescence playing as she walked in the door to the club room, not initially even looking at Hunter.

She placed her things down and then sat in the same seat as last time, glancing to the doors to make sure there weren't certain teachers about as she removed the earbud and turned her iPod off. She sighed lightly and leaned against the wall since she was turned completely to the side in her chair. She raised an eyebrow as she saw Tom was there, her eyes quickly turning to Hunter. Don't tell me he's falling into that group.... No, probably protection of some sort. She ran a hand through her hair to get more of it off of her face, her gaze soon drifting out the window as she hoped that today would continue to at least be relatively calm.

School had finally ended and Ada let out a soft sigh of relief. She went to her locker to switch out the books she would need to take home when she saw the flyer for the Prodigy Club. She peered at it curiously and thought about going. She didn't have dance class until later, so she would have time and she definitely needed help in the math and science areas. She thought it would be a good thing.

She held her books in her arm as she shut her locker and turned to head to the club when she ran into someone and her books fell all over the floor. Her cheeks turned as pink as her hair. "I'm so sorry, forgive me. I didn't see you there, are you alright?" Ada asked worriedly to the young man she had bumped into. He looked confused, as if he wasn't sure what exactly had happened. "It's fine," he mumbled and helped her to pick up her books. "I'm terribly sorry. Spasibo," she said, slipping into Russian in her flustered state. "I mean, thank you, for helping me," she corrected, translating it into English. She took her books and gave him a smile while her cheeks were still pink and headed to the club. She peeked her head in before entering. "Ya izvinyayusʹ, I hope I'm not too late," she said sheepishly, offering a smile.

Maria Alexander

Alden tease her about her looking at him. He would not bite. Maria knew this fact but she lack in the art of conversation. The nurse ask her to sit down if she did not have any classes. The art teacher didn't as she soon sat in the chair. She mess with the edge of her skirt as she was nervous.

Alden asked if she wanted coffee or tea. "I..." She muttered, "I like green tea"

Alden observed her as she seemed to decide to sit down, glad that she was at least sort of relaxing. Well..... sort of. She was still clearly nervous as she messed with her skirt. He pushed himself up, walking over to one of his side rooms, opening the door. "I do believe I have some." He gave her a small smile, pouring some water and heating it up, sorting through his various teas that he kept at work. He did have green tea, so he pulled two aside so he could have some himself, letting the microwave heat up the water as he went back out into the main room.

"Now we just have to wait for that.... So! How are your classes doing? Are they becoming the next Pollock? Or maybe Rodin?" He asked her with a small tilt of his head. He brushed his bangs back a little, listening for the ding of the microwave.

Maria Alexander

She smiled as he got her tea. Maria was silent as she listen to Alden's words. The nurse talk about if her students would be the next great artist. "Yeah~" Maria muttered. "Some of them."The head bowed down as she look to the floor. She counted the title on the floor to calm down her anxiety. If not, she would dash off somewhere else to hide.

When everyone arrived Hunter looked at them all. 37. That was 15 more than last time and most were people he had never spoken too. He smiled kindly at them all and said. "Hello everyone! Welcome to the second meeting of the Prodigy Club. Today we will be having a tutoring session. To decide what we will work on I will call on each of you and will tell me what you need help with, I'll write it on the board and the three topics with the highest number of votes will be our focus for the day." He said in his rich smooth voice.

"Before that let me introduce the two other tutors. Marissa Evans and Kara Sycamore." Both stood and then sat down. Hunter had a bad feeling a lot of the guys would pick Kara not for help but being near her.

Kara glanced up as Hunter began his announcements for the meeting, her eyes flicking about the room to see who was there. Lots of new people. Guess thats a good thing. She sighed, her attention returning to the clubs leader. She rose when her name was spoken and she gave a nod before sitting back down.

She did her best to ignore the boys stares that followed her, today not a good day for their idle oggling. Feeling a vibration from her phone, she grimaced, that lovely even keel of a mood starting to slide one way and another. Oh this was going to be interesting.... She watched as people called out what they needed tutoring in and Hunter tally them on the board. Please be even amongst the tutors.... She silently prayed, her expression impassive.

Adan Waters

Adan was - yeah, well, sort of - relieved when the Prodigy Club started, despite being angry at the card game called Mao. He didn't even know if it called that way. Was it called that way? But what was important was that his lunch mates weren't bugging him repeatedly about the girl Kara anymore. He felt like he was relieved of any burden caused upon by the sophomore.

Adan had already sat down on his usual chair earlier than most, and had seen the students from before, and a few more. Good thing he hadn't told his lunch mates where he exactly met Kara, if so, then there would be more than just fifteen new students. And those guys didn't even need extra tutorial.

Then he turned his head to the back when the tutors were introduced, and decided he should pick the tall redhead Marissa. That would be a better choice if he didn't want to be battered with questions the following day, or who knows, maybe even later on his way home.

Adan would definitely pick Mathematics. That's what he came here for, anyway. Math. Then not come again unless he needed some more help in another subject. Yes. The objective was to get himself have an A in Math. This club had better be good.

He then turned his head to the door when a pink-haired girl peeked in, and smiled a small, unsure grin. Adan decided to wave to her. She seemed nice enough, and he didn't know her. So she must be safe to approach. Pink hair. She must've colored her hair. Nice.

Ada looked rather shy when he waved to her and she bit her lower lip lightly before heading over to the group he was in. She sat down and pulled out her math book as well as her notebook. "Hello," she said softly to the boy who waved at her. She offered him a smile as she took out her pencil. He was right, she did dye her hair because otherwise it was such a pale blonde that it was almost white. She liked to be different and she thought it suited her well. The boy was cute and she was surprised he was talking to her. "What's your name? I'm Adelaide, you can call me Ada though since it's shorter if you'd like," she said, feeling a bit more comfortable. "You need help with math as well?" She asked, tilting her head to the side as she attempted to strike up a conversation with the young man. He looked a year older than her. She felt rather small and odd here, she wasn't sure if there were any other freshmen here. She was hoping she could make some friends though as well as get help on the course she struggled with.

Adan grinned at the girl who chose to sat in the group he was sitting in. So he was right. She was an awful lot of nice. And she was quite shy, too. Taking out his books and notebooks and just a friction pen, the 15-year-old turned to the pinkette. Finally, someone decent to talk to.

"Hey," He responded, now eager to talk with someone else other than the usual people in his life. Now, his brother would have to take back what he said about just having friends in his own social circle. She was bound to be his friend. And she was pretty. "Nice name. Adelaide. I'm Adan. I don't actually have a nickname." Introducing himself to someone wasn't really that hard; since he was a freshman, new to this school. He was sorta used to it. Besides, meeting new people was what he joined this club for, too.

Shrugging carelessly, Adan brushed back stray strands of brown hair obstructing his line of sight. "Yeah. Math. Such a pain. Why did they even put it after lunch in my schedule? I always manage to sleep in that class." He complained, then pursed his lips. He couldn't blame himself. Work got in the way of his sleep. His body always felt tired when he works. Like he said, such a pain.

Ada laughed lightly and smiled at him. "Well, that's okay, you have a short name. Udovolʹstvie, Adan," she said, instantly warming to him. He was rather nice and fun to talk to. "Sorry, I sometimes mix the languages," she said apologetically. She was glad to see him opening up to her. "At least you don't have it first thing in the morning. Why do you get so tired? Food can't be the only cause," she teased, but was genuinely curious.

"I don't understand why they make us take these math classes, most of it we will never use in the real world," she said with a sigh and rested her head on her hand, her elbow resting on the desk as she looked at him, some of her pink hair falling forward. The movement of her elbow cause her pencil to roll of the desk and onto the floor. She lifted her head and leaned down, grabbing it, almost falling out of her seat. She put the pencil back onto the desk with a light laugh. "I don't know how to move when I'm not dancing, so if I fall, do not worry, it is normal for me," she said with a smile.

Adan grinned, clearly amused at the pinkette beside him. Mixing languages? That's quite rare. So she wasn't from here, is she? "You mix languages up? What language was that?" He asked, curiosity painted in his eyes. It wasn't anywhere near English, that's for sure. He actually didn't understand what she said before his name, starting from the 'udo.'

Then he sat back in his seat when he was asked about him sleeping in his Math class every single time. Well, that was simple. "I work till ten every night. Except Sundays. That's my day off. Work starts some minutes after school." Adan sent her a smile that was saying 'It's life, and it's complicated.' Seriously. But at least he and his brother were keeping up with the rent.

Keeping his hand an inch away from the surface of his desk, he stretched it, and made use of his thumb for tapping the wooden table. "I know," He groaned after Adelaide complained about studying Math. "I know - oh, are you okay?" He said, leaning towards the other freshman, a worried look on his face. "If that's what you say." Adan frowned, his eyebrows meeting at one place, but his muscles were relaxing. She dances, but she's clumsy. How ironic.

Ada blushed slightly and smiled. "Yes, I'm originally from Russia. I moved here when I was little. Oh, and I had said it was a pleasure to meet you, so much shorter in my native language, so I tend to substitute words in. I think it's kind of like...Spanglish? Except with Russian instead of Spanish," she explained and watched him sit back. Her eyes widening when she heard how much he worked and he was only a freshman! "How do you do that? That's amazing, I mean, that you can handle school, work, and friends," she commented. "Oh, yeah, I'm fine, just being a klutz," she said with a laugh. "Thank you for the concern though," she said happily.

She liked this boy, she felt they could be friends, even if he was quite busy. He was rather interesting and sweet. She wanted to inquire why he had to work, but she didn't want to pry into his life and be rude. "Where do you work, Adan?" she asked him curiously, yes that was an adequate question. Who knew she'd make a friend in this club? She was glad about that though.
