Langkston wiped her eyes and stood to change into the disguise Kyree laid out for her. She wasn't sure how her plan would work, but it was worth a shot. Even if she didn't come back alive, if she met and learned more about this mystery man it would all be worth it. She hugged Kyree again and she snuck out her palace. She used her magic to make the guards of the gate unconscious, and she was on her way.

Kyree smiled, hoping she would come back okay. She was well aware that if anything happened to Langkston, she would be blamed and sentenced to be tortured until death. Whipping was the most likely punishment. Kyree went into her room to sleep after she left.
Riku woke up to fine Leighton gone, along with the records. He got out of bed and threw on a black vneck and dark blue jeans. He slipped on his black vans and slung his backpack over his shoulder and trudged out the cottage. The streets weren't very busy, it was pretty early. There was only servants running errands and guards marching.

Langkston ran as fast as she could through the streets. She knew she was drawing attention, but at least no one could see her face. She didn't know where she was going. It was as though her legs and mind knew the way, but to where that was she didn't know. She darted left and right, between people, until she ran straight into one. She blinked a few times, her head pounding. She was in the forest, near a cottage.

Riku walked out of the council building, his pack now full of scrolls of information he needed to go over. The streets became more busy by the time he came out. He brushed past people, occasionally bumping arms with a stranger. Finally he was walking on the trail in the forest that led to his home. Suddenly he found himself in a thorn bush because he was bumped into.
"Ah!" Riku yelped. He carefully stood up and looked at the one who had made him fall. The person's face was hooded, so he couldn't tell. "Watch it! What are you doing in my forest?" his eyes were red. He was stressed enough. He picked out a few of the hundreds of thorns that lay in his smooth skin.

"S..sorry." Langkston stammered quickly. She tried her hardest to create an accent to hide her angelic tongue. She didn't dare look up at his face in case it wasn't him. "Couldn't see where I was going with this hood."

Riku's eyes were now a light red with splotches of darker red. He noticed her voice sounded strange. "Then take the hood off!" He pulled her hood back to see a strangely familiar face. He knew she was an angel, just by the color of her skin tone and her facial structure. "What are you doing here?" he whispered, but it was still harsh. He grabbed her by her wrist and lead her to his cottage and locked the door behind him. Luckily, Leighton had a meeting that would last for a few more hours. "What's an angel doing here?" then he realized. "You're the princess.."

Langkston breathed in. She honestly hadn't thought of what to say to him when she saw him. "I..I had to see you. I had to know if you were real! I thought I was going insane!" The words came flowing out and she took a moment to breathe and catch her breath. She realized how stupid she sounded, but continued. "You have to know me Riku, I come see you everyday at just about this time! At least in my dreams I do... or I think I do. How else would I have known where to find you?"

Riku looked at her blankly. "You have to understand I have no idea who you are. You're probably a spy for your father!" there was silence between them for a few long moments. "I have never seen you before.."

"How can you not have?!" She screamed. "I come see you everyday, then I just.. I dunno disappear!" She began getting frustrated. "I told you about the stupid council! How do you not remember?!?"

"I would've remembered an angel in my own home. Besides, if you were in here last night Leighton would've killed you in a second. And no, you didn't. Alexandria did." his eyes were still red with irritation and anger. He wondered why she wasn't scared of him and not running back to her little world. Riku pulled a thorn from his face, and felt blood run down his cheek.

"Alexandria?" Langkston questioned. "No!" She shouted again. "There is no Alexandria, It was me! I remember!" She couldn't control her emotions and began kicking and shouting and thrashing. She crumpled to a heap on the floor and cried. "I'm going insane..."

"You must have the wrong guy. I'm no dream guy." He wiped the blood from his cheek, only smearing it. He watched in confusion as she kicked things, knocking down his table. Scrolls and other papers went everywhere. Then she cried. "I thought angels don't cry?"

"Obviously." he wanted to hear more than that. Riku offered a hand to help her up. "Now do you want to tell me really why you're here? What information you're in need of?"
