Dema hung her head, partly in shame. "It's old. It's just that all of these reopen whenever I use my powers on someone. consider it payback," she explained quickly. "Usually it's just scar and not actually bleeding," she said, unable to say anything else due to Ian putting his hands on her wounds. She hissed slightly at the initial sting, but her pain tolerance was good. "I don't really like people seeing it," she said, blushing slightly, despite her incredibly pale skin.

If we wanted payback, which we don't, then it would be helping around with chores and stuff. No one should be in physical pain like this. There is no reason for it!" Ian said sarting to get steamed. He could go and give who ever did this a good beating, he would probably make the person be the first test subject to die from the needles of poison that Ian keeps around..... She finds it easier to talk witout making eye contact with a person or just not looking at them....it eased her nerves a little. And I will take

Was standing here all along. Ian Guaritore "It's been worse?!" Ian questioned getting more mad for Dema. "Even if it isn't as bad you shouldn't have to suffer with this at all. Your not the monster. The person or 'thing' that did this two you is the monster." Ian continued his angry little rant. The person who did it wasn't even deserving enough to be called a person....it was a thing...though Ian thought that was also to nice of something to call it. Cece just nodded along agreeing with what Ian said. He looked down at Cecilia and couldn't help but see people trying to do that, if not something worse, to her for almost the same reason....except that Dema doesn't kill. It was heart breaking and only made him feel more mad. And I will take

Children are usually a lot different from there parents, so unless you go around carving monster into someones back, you are not one yourself." Ian told her. Even Ian was different from his parents. Not much but they did have different views of things. The believed Cece should be kept locked up her whole life and away from people where as Ian feels the opposite. She was glad that her father was dead, despite all of the other deaths. He deserved to rot forever. "And it's really more of a draw still. Hard to have a proper victory whilst dead. If she were a cold blooded murderer, she wouldn't tell me and she probably would have killed Cece by now. he brooded to himself for a moment. "You say you killed people? Did you literally kill them with your own two hands?" He asked suspicious about it. He had a feeling she might just be blaming herself like most people do. And I will take

Why didn't you just kill Cecilia for saying something she shouldn't?" he asked starting to get annoyed with her. Ian didn't want to believe she was a killer or a monster. She never caused problems for the circus and other then looking a bit scary, she hasn't done anything but help people. He can't believe she was the murderer she claimed to be.....he refused to. Dema's head felt ready to explode with how much it hurt. She wondered if this was the same crazy feeling her father had gotten. She felt like she would like to hit something, though she never would. "There's a difference between killing someone in cold blood and being the reason their dead. Cold blood means you feel nothing. I'm still the reason they're dead though. He never would have known about them if they hadn't taken me in," she said. She seemed half crazy, or at least felt it.

Ian said staying strong his opinion. "It was his. You were only trying to save yourself and those people happily took you in right? Although she disagreed, Dema let it drop. She did not want to argue about it anymore. Whether she was or was not responsible for their deaths, she felt like she was. "I know I'm not bad, but bad things happened because of me," she said under her breath. Dema had spent the years after that horrible night working and doing everything she could think of to make up for it. Her powers made her unwelcoming until she landed in the circus.

Was standing here all along. Ian Guaritore "Then make good things happen instead. Only way to change things is to fight back. Nothing bad can really happen when your doing good." Ian said before dropping it completely. Cecilia wasn't holding onto him as tightly as before and he was able stand up. "Well if you ever have anymore issues with 'that' or anything else, then your more then welcome to come to us for help." He said smiling and opening the curtain. He figured she must be sick of hearing him rant, so if she wanted to leave then she could. He looked over to see Gabriel was finishing putting a new sheet on the bed Dema was on before. Which helps Ian a lot for not having to do it later. Cecilia stood up with him and clung onto his arm. She wasn't going to let him leave her that easily...even if he really wasn't. And I will take

Dema nodded and stood, her mood still foul after using her power and having to see it all again. "Cece, again, I'm really sorry for doing that to you," she said, meaning every word. She quickly thanked them and got ready to leave. She had to get back to work and, as long as nobody else did something that upset her, she would be fine to act like none of it had ever happened.
