Attentively watching her student attempt at the next clan technique, Itsuki wondered if he could really understand such a complex technique simply from Amber's words. Sure she explained it much deeper than she would've been able to but this kind of teaching method still bothered Itsuki slightly. 'Well, its not like we have another option, Natsu needs to learn those clan techniques and until he's Chuunin, he'll most likely still need help when it comes to learning techniques...' Releasing a sigh, Itsuki heard some more shifting in the distance and curiosity getting the better of her, Itsuki turned away from her student's training and opted to see what was the source of the noise.
Heading over to the other side of the dojo, Itsuki easily spotted a blob of soft brown hair and a petite girl dressed in a soft limegreen tank-top and black jeans. From her angle, Itsuki could easily turn and see Natsu and Amber training. 'Hm...she looks familiar...I think I saw her at the academy earlier...' Stopping behind the girl, Itsuki cleared her throat and spoke in a soft voice. "Hey there, are you practicing sealing techniques?"

Natsu didn't even notice Itsuki go, as he was focused totally on what Amber was saying. Her comment on his abilities made him smirk confidently. Happy smacked his head and shook it. The Fire Dragon's Iron Fist would allow him to summon fire to his hands, a technique that was usually used in clan festivals, though Natsu hadn't been to one for quite sometime. It'd be similar to the Flaming Palm, but would be much more deadly, as the flames would cover his entire hand, as well as be able to shoot out in case he missed his target.

Natsu hadn't totally grasped how he would push the flames out, but luckily Amber had went over that. She compared it to the Incinerating Hail technique, so really Natsu would end up just pumping chakra through his hands to launch the flames out. Happy glanced at Natsu, wondering how well he'd work with the whole control aspect of the technique. Natsu wasn't one to handle control very well.

Natsu reached into himself once more, summoning up his chakra once more. He readied himself, standing in a horse stance, holding his fists at his side. Natsu steadied his breathing, letting the fire come to him. The scarlet chakra covered his hands, at first fitting like large gloves. Natsu knew as soon as the fire lit, it'd be strong, and he'd have to control it swiftly.

Natsu was now ready, and thrust both of his fists into the air. "Raaaahhh!" Both of his hands ignited into flames. Happy began to clap his little paws, but then noticed something was wrong. Natsu's teeth were gritted, and the flames were wild. They were raging about on his hands, leaping out and rubbing against his arms. Natsu wasn't about to give up and call it quits. He grunted out in his pain, but continued to keep the flames on, not until he got them under control.

Amber had said to push the flames out, he would have to apply his chakra. Natsu smiled, despite the burning of the flames. He took another deep breath, inhaling through his nose, and then exhaling through is mouth. He did this a few times, and finally the flames lessened. His arms probably should have been worse off, but his natural flames resistance kept him somewhat safe. Natsu's arms were still pink and sore, but he knew he'd live. If anything, it would just be another scar. "Haha!" e said, as he thrust his hand forward, and once more applied his chakra. The flames shout out about a foot, reaching their max distance. Natsu let the fire go afterward, and examined his hands. If he didn't have the weights on, his wrists would have suffered a lot more than what they actually did.

"Huh?"
Antissa heard a light voice behind her as she was working diligently on writing her seals down. Truth be told, she wasn't fully focusing on her seals, and almost the whole time, she was watching Natsu practice his fire techniques from inside the dojo. From where she was sitting, she had a good view of the outside training grounds, so she could have a peaceful scene in front of her as she was training. The peaceful scene was turned into a humorous one as the young Dragonil practiced his Katon based jutsu. It was so funny, that Antissa found herself unable to conceal her laughter. Itsuki's approach caught her off guard, as she was really watching Natsu while her face seemed to be pointed at her work.
"Huh? Oh, yes, I am. I might need a little help tho' OH!" Antissa looked down at her work to see how she was doing and nearly fainted. Her intricate designs had been smudged, drawn over, and practically been made illegible. Was she really trying to draw the seals while watching Natsu too?! "Aww! I was almost finished, too..." Two light tears formed at the corner of Antissa's eyes, and she rubbed them away quickly, and turned to fully face the woman who had spoken to her. "Y-yes, Hokage-sama! I've had a lot of trouble with them recently." More like a lot of distractions. Still, I'm enjoying the show, so sue me!Tonight fate is the red crown, the red crown around your door

 AmberKonohagakure - Jounin | Teaching Master | Katon | Fuuton | Raiton As Natsu began his attempt at his clan technique Amber watched with complete interest as the assumed taijutsu specialist attempted this Chuunin rank technique. 'If he is indeed a taijutsu specialist, his control will definately be lower than most.' Amber's speculation was soon proven to be right as Natsu control over his flame wavered after its inical creation. It would seem he was capable of making the flames but to keep it under wraps was the difficult part. Though the flames flared around wildly, for Natsu to have still kept a strong grasp on the technique was impressive enough. When he eventually calmed himself down and lanched it, Amber smiled and nodded in approval. "Good work kid. Had me worried for a second there with that flame spreading over your arm but you managed to contain it. Good job."
Pausing momentarily to consider the next course of action, Amber could only assume that her role as a teacher was over but turning around and spotting Itsuki in a compeletly different area made Amber think twice about leaving. 'Itsuki did say to prep him for the Chuunin exams, best I train him some more I guess.' Turning to face Natsu, Amber began questioning him on his knowledge on Katon techniques. "Hey kid, how many genin rank katon techs do you know? And while you're at it, tell me how many academy level ones you know as well. Seeing how Itsuki's busy at the moment, I guess I can continue to teach you for awhile."

At the girl's exclaimation, Itsuki arched her neck a bit to pear over the girl's shoulder. What she saw was definately not a typical seal design by the average sealer. If anything, it could be descriped as a scribble by a little kid and by her next comment, she hadn't anticipated it to end that way as well. 'Must've been distracted.' Frowning slightly at the sight of the young her tearing at her failure, Itsuki quickly replaced it with a soft smile as the girl addressed her by her title. "It's Itsuki, I prefer to be addressed by my name rather than my title. Sealing also takes time so keep trying, you'll get it soon. By the way, may I have the pleasure of knowing your name?" Taking a seat by Antissa, Itsuki glanced over at her student just in time to see him lauch a his flame technique. 'Not bad.'

Natsu turned at the sound of Antissa's laughing, and smiled back at her. He waved, but then snapped back to attention when Amber spoke. His smile, turned into grin at Amber's words. "Heh, don't underestimate a Dragonil!" Natsu said, laughing heartily afterward. Natsu followed Amber's eyes, and saw Itsuki busy with Antissa. He briefly wondered if that was the end of his training, but then Amber came through. "Ah, I know six techniques for the academy rank." Natsu said, listing them off afterward. "As for genin techniques, I know of two, and one chuunin one." He listed those as well, wondering what Amber had in mind.

AmberKonohagakure - Jounin | Teaching Master | Katon | Fuuton | Raiton Right hand placed on her hip, Amber casually dangled her left by her side. Nodding her head as she took in the list of techiques taught to Natsu, Amber did a mental checklist of all Katon techniques at her disposal. 'Not bad, he seems to already know all of the basics though it does seem he's lacking in Genin tech. Best start there then.' "Alright kid, it seems you have a decent amount of knowledge on Katon techniques but you're still missing a few for Genin so lets try our best to fix that okay?"
Raising her left hand, Amber folded in her thumb, ring finger and pinky, leaving only her index and middle finger. Summoning out her chakra, Amber glowed a bright fiery orange before it all was concentrated into her two fingers. Controling her chakra, Amber amplified the heat between the two fingers to the point where the heat could be visable. "Katon: Ni, also know as Fire Release: Two. This is the second part to your Katon fundamental training. Unlike last time, you mold enough chakra so that the head extends to another finger, primarily your middle finger. The heat is now strong enough to burn through clothes and metaliic string. Sadly its still not strong enough to deal any substantial damage." Lowering her left hand, Amber held is close to the edge of the blue cloth she had wrapped around her hips and within miliseconds lit up. Slamming the small flame out with her right hand, Amber proceeded to take out a stand of metal wire and cut burn through it. "Use the heat around you as base and the key is to focus. There's a reason why this is considered a basic fundamental technique Natsu. You must learn how to properly utilize your fire. For fire can be considered a double edge sword." Done, Amber canceled her technique and allowed both hands to rest casually by her sides.
{@Jade: Don't forget your chakra count. Don't have one for Amber since she's and NPC but maybe I should...}

Description: This technique makes it so that after a user has molded enough chakra to gather heat into their finger they can now distribute it to both the index and middle finger (one hand), making it a somewhat viable option in combat now. However, jabs and strikes made through this method would simply burn through clothing and wouldn’t cause any substantial thereafter. In terms of raw searing strength, though, it allows the user to cut through even metallic string now.

Antissa's eyes moved upward as Itsuki took a seat next to her. She gave a soft smile and her eyes had a warm hue to them. It was almost as if she was encouraged that someone was taking notice of her, and even going so far as to sit next to her. "Oh, of course, Itsuki-san!" Antissa immediately commited the command to memory. She shouldn't call this woman by her title, but by her name. At least that way, she wouldn't take offense to anything Antissa did, even if it was meant in honesty. When Itsuki began talking about her sealing, Antissa frowned, leaning over her work with a huff. "Yeah, I s'pose... It just isn't as easy as I thought it'd be. I guess I just need a little more focus..." The brown-haired girl turned to Itsuki when she requested her name. "Oh, right! You gave me your name, so it would only be proper for me to return the favor! My name is Antissa Etalis, I'm a Genin who's studying sealing techniques... -And failing at it." At first, Antissa was kind of happy to be talking about herself, but when it came to her profession, which really wasn't all that professional, she got a little gloomy.Tonight fate is the red crown, the red crown around your door

Releasing a soft chuckle at Antissa's comment, it surprised and amused Itsuki to see the girl's feelings go in a loop. 'Reminds me of someone else I know...' Remaining silent for a bit, Itsuki pondered on how to get the young girl's spirit up and unable to come up with anything aside from training decided that she might as well try to distract the girl from her sketchpad. "Hey Etalis-san, you said you were a genin right? So how about we do some training? I'm sure a young sealer such as yourself would benefit from some universal techniques? What do you say?" Still sitting, Itsuki raised both hands upward in a stretch. Bringing them back down, Itsuki turned towards Antissa and patiently awaited an answer from the girl.

A redish-pink blur would seem to bust through the door of the dojo and head straight for Natsu. It was coming at an alarming pace and seem to jump and tackle him. "NATSU!!!!!!!!!!" it shouted. The thing and Natsu would then tumble and roll a bit until they both had stopped and the thing was on top of him.
"Natsu! I'm sorry I ran away! I'm sorry!" it shouted. Now that it had stopped moving, the thing was visible. It was a girl. A HOT GIRL!!! Mid-length, redish-pink hair that swayed as she breathed deep with her sobbing, making her chest heave in and out violently. Her tears would fall down on Natsu's chest and her whole body would follow. She laid atop Natsu and cried deeply. "I'm so sorry! But I'm back now! I won't leave you ever again!" Natsu would be able to recognize this girl. It was Alkaid Icolo. She was Natsu's girlfriend months ago, but had disappeared and ran away from the village. She was on a journey for training, but she needed to return now. The time was right.

Natsu had just been about to string together a set of seals, when something hit him at high speeds. They rolled a bit, and Natsu's eyes went black and his mouth comically opened just like the 3rd icon from the left on the bottom set of icons. What he heard was along the line of 'Natsu, blah, sorry, blah blah, back, blah won't leave again'. Natsu gazed up at Alkaid's crying face, and felt his chest clench. Happy had been about to go into ninja mode, and karate chop someone, but relaxed when he saw it was Alkaid. He loved her boo-...her, and sincerely missed her boo...her. But, he knew how hurt Natsu was when she left, and stopped himself from running at her.
Natsu was sorely tempted to wrap his arms around her, and pat her head, but couldn't do it. Instead, he 'manned' up. Natsu sat up, and then picked up Alkaid, using his strength. He sat her down next to him, and stared at the ground in front of him. Natsu sighed, not meeting Alkaid's eyes. "Wait." Natsu said to her, and rose to his feet. He was uncharacteristically commanding at the moment. Natsu was usually submissive to her, letting Alkaid get her way, all the time. He rose to his feet, and headed back to Amber. Happy walked over to Alkaid, and sat by her side.

"Excuse me Amber-sempai, I will not be distracted again." Now they were going back in ranks for the techniques, which lead Natsu to believe it would be easier. The technique would be simpler than creating flames all around his hand, as it was only with two fingers. The only thing that would most likely hinder him was his lack of good control. On another note, this technique would allow him to burn through certain substances, such as metallic string. It wouldn't be much use in battle unfortunately, but Natsu had other techniques to make up in that area

Natsu raised his right arm, and held up two fingers. He took in a deep breath, his face as impassive as ever. Natsu had grown quiet since Alkaid's return, barely having spoken a word. With a deep breath, Natsu focused his chakra, and funneled it to his fingers. Natsu amplified his natural heat. At first, he actually found it hard to concentrate, what with Alkaid so near. Because of that, his heat faltered, and he couldn't even get a flame up.

Natsu kept on thinking about their past relations, making him feel so uneasy. He snuffed his thoughts, and focused only on his flames. Natsu concentrated on his breathing, and pushed chakra to his fingers. The heat intensified, and then a small flame ignited on his fingers. Natsu reached down to his pants, and pushed his finger against it. The cloth burned away cleanly, but the flame didn't even bother him, not in the slightest.

AmberKonohagakure - Jounin | Teaching Master | Katon | Fuuton | Raiton As Amber patiently waited for Natsu to start, a sudden redish-pink blur emerged from one of the doors of the dojo and ram straight into her student. 'What in the world?!' Amber watched with interest and curiosity as the redish-pink blur turned out to be a girl and from the looks of it, she had some ties to her pink haired student. 'This is getting interesting...' As the girl continued to tear away at Natsu's chest, Amber arched her head a bit so that she could catch Natsu's reaction. When the boy simply stood up and picked up the girl, Amber was a bit disappointed to only see him pick her up only to placed her back down beside him. What did catch her interest though, was Natsu's change in attitude and the way he addressed the girl. "Definitely have a past..." Amber muttered uttered her breath as she watched the way they interacted with one another. When Natsu returned and spoke, Amber simply nodded before watching her student go and perform the technique. 'Impressive as always...'
Once he was done, Amber smiled and thought for a moment the next technique to teach Natsu. "Alright Natsu, great work so far, only two more techniques to go before your at your Katon limit. This next technique's called Katon: Housenka no Jutsu, also known as the Fire Release: Mythical Fire Flower Technique. This is the perfect technique for hidden attacks."
Smiling, Amber paused a moment for air before continuing with her usual excitement. "Basically for this technique, you'll be doing a more downsized version of what you already know. You'll focus your chakra to your lungs and concentrating on the warm air within, you'll change it to fire. Next you breath out blast of fire from you mouth. Simple, well that's just the first part of the technique. The next part requires speed and stealth. Once you create the blasts of fire, you need to quickly whip out a set of shurikens and send them hiding within the flames. Like so," Slowly going through the handsigns, Amber ran through them twice before rapidly breezing though them.
Concentrating her chakra to her lungs, Amber infused it with the warm air inside and turning to face a tree, exhale five consecutive blasts of fire. Next, Amber swiftly reached into her shuriken pouch located at the back of her hip and took out five shurikens. Whipping them towards her five blast of fire, they seemingly merged themselves into the flames. When the fire stuck the tree, it dispelled almost instantly but the hidden attack remained apparent as a row of five shurikens embedded themselves into the tree.

Natsu's old self began to come back. He was almost done with his fire training. After that, he'd be able to head over to Zin and continue his training with in taijutsu. This technique again was something he'd doubt he'd ever use. First, he'd shoot off some small fireballs. Then, if he could be fast enough, he'd be able to dispatch a few shuriken and have them hide within the flames.

Natsu's hands came together as he began to run through the small set of seals Amber had showed him. After he got them down, Natsu began to focus on himself, and his chakra. He entered a horse stance, and felt the heat radiate off of his body. Natsu's chakra raced as he performed the hand signs once more, and brought his fingers up to his mouth. As usual with a Dragonil, their fire techniques were much more potent.

Natsu's fireballs were larger than what this technique would normally elicit, they were also hotter. Immediately, Natsu reached into is pouch, and grabbed 4 shuriken. His arm whipped back as he launched them out, straight after the fireballs. His aim wasn't golden, so one of the shuriken never made its mark, embedding itself somewhere in the woods. The others entered the fireballs though.

AmberKonohagakure - Jounin | Teaching Master | Katon | Fuuton | Raiton Glad to see Natsu reverting back to his regular self as he indulged himself with training, Amber couldn't help but release a small smile. 'Still, I wonder what's the deal between the two?' Shifting her gaze between both the strange newcomer and Natsu, Amber could feel her natural burning curiosity taking hold of her again. 'I wonder if it'll be too mean of me to bring it up later?' Nodding her head with approval when she saw Natsu exhale four large fireballs, Amber grew curious if Natsu will be able to successfully embed them with shuriken as well. Watching intently as Natsu took our four shuriken and threw them, Amber smiled when she noticed that they were on target only for one of them to suddenly loose track and fly into the woods. "Three out of four, not bad kid."
Taking out a kunai this time, Amber held dangled it in front of Natsu to see. "Alright kid, final jutsu time. This last technique's called the 'Katon: Hi Shinten no Jutsu'. A simple support technique if anything. This jutsu will allow you to spread your fire around any weapon or item you may be holding. In doing so, you surround the object in a layer of fire while keeping the object itself unharmed. So its like the fire is there and its not. A coat that never touches what's its covering if you get what I mean." Freely letting loose her chakra, Amber concentrated it all to her right arm and into the kunai she was currently dangling by the hoop. Infusing her chakra with the surrounding heat, she set her chakra a blaze. Molding it so that its like a layer of flame, Amber extended her layer of flame so that the reach of her blade became longer by at least 2 feet. "Nice thing about this technique is that not only does it coat your weapon in flames, it also extends the reach by 3 feet maximum. So give it a go whenever you're ready." Smiling, Amber canceled out the technique and tossed the kunai to Natsu.

Description: This jutsu allows the user to extend the flame from their hand to any weapon or item they may be holding. This creates a surrounding layer of flame around the object, but the object is unharmed. This can only extend to a length of 3 feet maximum, or the length of a medium sized sword.

She couldn't believe what had just happened! Natsu pushed her apologies away! It was....heartbreaking. As streams of tears came from Alkaid's weeping visage, she shouted and ran out the dojo. She sprinted as fast as she could. So fast that her scars had undone their stitching and opened up as she left. If Natsu saw, he'd be confused. This was because Alkaid was so embarrassed over her true form that she had never revealed that she was truly a Tendril Threader.
