She has a love of all things nerdy, and being a pretty standard otaku, she found herself lost in comics and gaming. Erin was rolling twenty-sided dice when most girls only dealt with only the six-sided, and her bookshelves were packed full of manga and video games. Her desk and floor were always a mess of papers, cords, controllers and dirty clothes (much like her current clinic office and inn room).
Tried by Fire: Her father, an Army veteran, had always raised his children to serve the armed forces as tradition held for their family. The choice was always theirs, but the sly cunning of the ex-Lieutenant talked all three of them into it effortlessly. Her father made sure that she was part of JROTC in high school, so the transition to good old fashioned boot camp after graduation was not as jarring as it should have been for her.
She was a bit of a brat before, but she had nearly been completely reformed within a year of enlistment. She found herself more fond of helping people rather than being a warrior, leading Erin to serve the several tours of duty of her career as a medic. She's now been honorably discharged and has proudly opened a clinic in peaceful Rose Valley to settle down and live a much more peaceful life.
Overbearing: Erin tends to get a bit controlling around people she starts to care about and especially her patients. She feels responsible for the well-being of those around her, sometimes to the point that some people may see it as a self-righteous ego. In reality, her heart really is in the right place, she's just really...
Absent Minded. She really can't help it, and whether it's from what varying specialists have said is post-traumatic stress disorder, head injuries or just naturally occurring, no one will know. She's a bit clumsy, and can occasionally zone out and run into walls, trees, doors, desks and other large objects. Erin's always been a bit socially awkward as well, and it doesn't help that she gets very little sleep.Hidden TalentsShe's retained the artistic streak she developed from her handiness with a can of spray paint. She's a cyclist and also enjoys skateboarding, usually taking her bike for a ride around the village every morning. Her time in the service made her an expert at triage and emergency first aid. She can suture most wounds amazingly quick and intravenous needles find their way to the vein on the first try. She's got a good handle on technology, whether it be for her gaming or from the complicated medical equipment she had dealt with in the service.WeaknessesErin is a bit absent-minded and is prone to zoning out even while walking or cycling outside. It has been a common occurrence for her, so she can be seen with several bandages covering scratches and scrapes from bumping into things or falling over. For this reason, she prefers to stay indoors, and seated, so she doesn't accidentally hurt herself again. She still struggles to cope with the things she's seen from fighting in wars, and the night terrors have scared her into insomnia. By the Way
Erin reached the rank of Staff Sergeant before leaving the Army. Her favorite color is blue, and her favorite pizza toppings are red onions, green peppers, mushrooms and black olives. She is a vegetarian, not because she doesn't like killing animals, or she thinks it is unhealthy. Erin simply finds the idea of eating meat inherently strange (plus it has an unpleasant texture).
