She shrugged lightly her back pressed firmly against his front "I don't mind" she said honestly actually quite comfortable. Sighing softly she closed her eyes drifting off to sleep feeling secure for the first time in a long time

He smiled knowing she felt safe and pulled closer to her his head layer above hers she was very small compared to him and he closed his eyes going back to sleep as well

True to what she had told him Mana was a light sleeper and the creaking of the house woke her up, squirming in his hold she turned to face him studying his face while he slept. He looks peaceful and younger asleep she thought to herself

Her face flushed red as she realized he had caught her staring at him rolling over quickly she almost rolled off the bed "everything's alright" she mumbled embarrassed

Mana wasn't able to sleep anymore only all to aware of how close he was she looked down at where his hand rested on her stomach, taking a deep breath she watched it rise a bit and fall as her breath whooshed out in a gasp causing her to smile.

She froze she had thought he was asleep "no it's okay I'm comfortable" she said tapping her fingers against his hand lightly. "Why do you want to let go?" she asked to be polite

"i dont i like being close to you but i do not want to hurt or drive you away" he said as he felt her breathe slowly "i like you mana...alot and i wont ever let anything hurt you"

Mana lifted his hand tracing his fingers with her own "why?" she asked confused men used her because they liked the way she looked not who she was. But Raydon didn't treat her like the other guys had he was actually nice to her and cared about if she was happy. Hoping he didn't notice she kissed his hand lightly

"you can cook you actually cared about me when i slept outside you knew i didnt like to sleep alone and you let me sleep with you so i didnt feel so alone....you are nice your beautiful and i feel like i have known you my entire life" he smiled and kissed her neck gently

She blushed feeling his kiss on her neck "well.. uhh" she started for once at a loss with words. Turning over to get a better look at him she smiled "well why shouldn't I care your a good guy and I know you'll take care of me"

Mana let out a soft gasp heat flooding her cheeks "what did you just call me?" she asked head muddled from the kiss she had never been treated like something almost precious, wanted. She slipped her arms around him wanting to get closer
