Carin let out a sigh as she motioned for Shelly to follow her. "Come on then worrywort.. The sooner we get our supplies the sooner we can come back to the ship and feel better. I don't like leavin' her here alone..Please forbid somethin' happen to her and keep me busy for the next 85 hours." She said with a sigh. Her list was composed of needed and wanted items for the ship. Many of the wanted was to increase effeicentcy and speed. Most of the needed was to keep Tranquility together.

Erin nodded. "Yes sir." She locked the console, and made her way to the loading bay where she would make her exit into the "Civil" world. In the hustle of the streets, most people didn't even notice her legs, and she was able to operate as a semi-normal human being.
Outside she waited for Shell, and Carin. "Mind if I join you two?" She asked feeling particularly lucky that she hadn't drank as much because of her status as pilot.
She didn't have anything in particular that she needed to purchase, but spending time with the crew was always a positive in her books.

She would rest a moment before picking a ship, and she sat on her trunk. The map was still clutched in her free hand, and inwardly she wondered just where she could go. It was annoying that she had already packed her laptop away; she would need to update her profile before anyone would suspect. Ariel was so certain that she had properly covered her tracks as well. Where did she slip up? There was no point fussing over that now. People were looking at her, and in reply she flashed them a friendly smile, that usually worked.
”Uhm miss,” a female voice called out just out of her peripheral view. Ariel turned her head, and viewed a young woman with a rather pretty shade of auburn hair. She was dressed in plain clothes, which simply didn’t match her feminine face. ‘Oh dear, the life of fashion had reared its ugly head again,’ she thought, ’I really must stop reading those magazines before bed.’ She pushed these girly thoughts of shoes and dressed out of her head and simply gave the girl a kind smile. "Would you be looking for some transportation?" the young girl asked in a polite way. The way she had been so forward and so bang on with what Ariel was looking for, it made her wonder.
”Why yes my dear I am,” she replied sweetly, ”are you psychic?” she asked, genuinely curious. Had she a implant perhaps surgically inserted in the cerebral lobe? If so, where was the point of entry? Ariel’s eyes looked over her skull, she could not spot any obvious scars. Unless the scientist was just that good, but who would fit that bill? ’Oh dear I’m staring,’ she blushed, glancing back to view her trunks, as well as the crowds gathering at the docks just as the ships were landing down. The realization hit her and she laughed lyrically, how could she be so single minded. ”It must be quite obvious that I’m looking for transport. How silly of me,” she giggled again returning her soft expression to the girl. Her hand gently touched her collar bone, gesturing to herself, ”my name is Ariel Sol. Pleasure to meet you Miss?”

The captain listened to his crew chat as they made there way out, all decided to band together it seemed and help Carin shop for parts. Which he didn't mind at all, especially since Shelly being there, they're was little chance of riff raff trying any cheap tricks on the girls even though he knew for a fact Carin would punch them out if they did try. Satisfied by all this and figuring Yuri would tag along with him, never being one to let anyone go solo, he simply said "Shiny, Carin lock Tranquility up when you're all about to leave. I'll give you a holler on the communicators when Siouxsie has everything ready for us." With that he walked down the ramp and onto Persephone, glancing around a little as he got his bearings and dissappeared into the crowds in search of his old war buddy.

The girl ran her hand through her hair. "Nat... Just Nat" She replied still somewhat taken back by the accusation that she was a psychic."I know of a ship that might take you... assuming you're able to pay... but you can talk to the captain about that." She paused a bit, second guessing leading this... eccentric woman back to Tranquility. Then again the word eccentric seemed to carry the connotation of wealth.
Or maybe she had been shot in the head back in the war, and it knocked a few marbles loose. Despite what the woman said, something was buried beneath her voice that made Natalie want to help her. "I don't know if he's taking passengers right now, and to be honest, it isn't exactly a cruise liner, but if you're interested, I can show you to the boat."
She glanced down at the girls bags realizing she wasn't making much of a sell. "But it looks like you're in a hurry, and this ship isn't one to stay anywhere too long."
((So, I'm curious as to whether Stephan is going to be angry that Nat brought a passenger to the boat just before a big job, or happy that she brought him someone with funds, and with... respectability.))

"Yeah, and maybe we can also get some eggs. Be great when we wanna make prairie oysters. And a hat. Not make a hat... but get a hat. Y'know." He followed Carin out and was surprised to find Erin there. "Naw, we don't mind at all! The more the merrier," he said in reply.

Carin smiled as she walked out of the ship. It seemed she might have more company that she thought. The thought of purchasing food though did seem to brighten her mood a bit more draging her out of her work mode. She made her way out of the ship waiting for the others to follow her before securing it.

”Well yes, of course I will pay,” Ariel smiled studying the girls expressions, ”You are not the captain? What do you do on the ship then? If I may ask.” She drew her hand to her chin, an outstretched finger thoughtfully tapping her full lips as she tried to make an educated guess before the girl could answer. Cook, perhaps? Or maybe she was the maid? These might come across as offensive suggestions, so she’d keep her guesses to herself. There was no need to start things off on the wrong foot.
She tilted her head to the side, curious by the fact that the true captain might not allow aboard. ”Well if that is the case I suppose I can always find a different mode of transport. I’m sure someone is willing to accommodate for the credits I’m offering.” She waved her hand dismissively, choosing not to worry about such things, yet. Her eyes brightened at the girl before her, she had made a astute observation. Though she wouldn’t know it, Ariel had promoted her to either the handler of ship supplies or even the data analyst administrator, basically a glorified space secretary, ”You have a good eye Nat, I am in a hurry. I would gladly take a look around your ship, and meet your captain.”

The captain found his way to a back alley where prying eyes would have a hard time watching, casually walking along as was the code of conduct for this arrangement. He came to a stop when he head the sound of a rifle powering up behind him, holding up his hands to show he meant no harm as more armed men and women appeared with weapons trained on him. And then down the alley a door opened and out walked a most beautiful sight; standing 5'9" with a well toned hour glass figure, long brown hair and emerald green eyes, dressed in form fitting clothing with a brown duster over top. Laying her emerald eyes on Stephan she said in an angry hiss "You've got a lot of nerve showing up here after what you pulled...."
With a look of confusion on his face, Stephan asked "...what in the..." but before he could finish, the woman came right up to him with a teasing laugh and embraced him in a big hug "How are you doing, you old pirate?!" With a sigh of relief, he hugged her back and when they stepped back from one another and the guns lowered he asked with a chuckle "I'm surviving... how about you Siouxsie?" His old war buddy waved it off "Well I can still keep you on your toes, so I'd say I'm doing just dandy." she flashed him a smile before motioning for him to follow her. "C'mon inside, we can sit down and catch up. I imagine your crew are out on the town shoppin' huh?" Stephan smirked "That they are... figured it was best to let them get out a stetch for a bit before we talked business." and with that they headed inside Siouxsie's hide out.

The Nat gave a girlish giggle at the thought of her being captain. Her people skills were lacking, and she probably couldn't even keep a crew long enough to take off. The next question pulled her from her moment of humor.
Natalie couldn't help but grin when the woman asked what her position was. She had a certain pride in herself that she was able to accomplish something that others would be in their late twenties before the could achieve. "I'm the medic aboard the vessel." And now the woman was probably wondering why a transport vessel needed a medic. "In case there are any unforeseen incidents, it is wise to have a fully certified medical professional on board."
"And if you don't mind my asking, what is it that you do?" The woman seemed to be past her odd moment... Nat decided to pass it off as her simply being in a hurry, and not thinking before she spoke.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ERIN~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The thought of actual beef instead of refined protein bars captivated Erin's thoughts. Gravy that's not dehydrated, carrots that have actually kissed the earth. Her stomach was starting to growl.
Erin followed her crew mates into the market enjoying the world around her. Despite spending a good deal of time floating in the black, or roughing it on war worlds, she felt natural here. "So, guys, What are you hopin' Siouxsie will have fixed for us?" She asked in a bright, cheerful voice.
"And what do you think she's gonna have us do to pay for it?" She asked the anticipation in her voice somewhat comical. " 'Cause I've been in the mood for some tricky flying for a while... feel like I'm getting soft." She smiled.
Sitting down, Stephan and Siouxsie talked for a good long while. They started off with the basics of current events in their lives, exchanging good and bad stories with their crews and eventually it lead back to nostalgia of war times together. There were many laughs over remembering the competitions for alliance kills and their old pal Tiderius' ways of evening the odds with a hand full of grenades! While they hated that they lost, the certainly did miss the shenanigans they managed to get themselves into. Some where a long the line, Siouxsie noticed the time and realized she best send the captain to go round up his crew as they'd be having dinner in an hour or so and with that, came explaining their new job.
A medic? Well, Ariel hadn’t expected that answer from the girl. A medic seemed strangely out of place for a transport ship. Though she supposed there was risk of dangers just about everywhere. Regardless of her quick explanation, Ariel found herself growing ever more curious. This girl, Nat as she preferred to be known as, was brighter than she had originally wagered. Ariel only had her clothes to go off on anyways, Nat didn’t seem to be wearing any scrubs or stethoscope. She couldn’t help but laugh, Ariel should know better than anyone not to judge a book by its cover. ”A medic, how impressive,” She said with a wide grin.
The girl went on to question Ariel’s profession. ’A scientist of sorts, almost like a medic,’ She thought immediately, amused by the truth she chose to hide. The words she spoke were much more calculated, her expression even and smooth as she spouted her elaborate lie, ”I’m a registered companion, my dear. Between appointments, presently,” Ariel ran a hand over her braided wig as a gust of wind kicked up, you could never be to careful when keeping appearances.
She wanted to place the focus back onto Nat, to better understand the medic before her. ”Are you a certified medic? Where did you go to school?” Her expression kept soft, kind, and genuinely interested in what Nat had to say. Though she couldn’t help but feel a small itch at the back of her mind. Was it a small tear in her wig rubbing against her scalp? Or was it her conscience, subtly reminding her that the sooner she boards transport, the better?
"I am an alumni of the Ariel Academy of Medical Sciences."She gave a wide smile of accomplishment."I graduated top 5 percent of my class." She said glancing back at the woman's bags. "Well, you did say you were in a hurry, so let's walk and talk." She said as she motioned for the woman to follow her to the ship.
"So, you're a companion huh? Must be a pretty glamorous life..." She chuckled as she thought back to when she was about twelve. She had asked her parents if she could be a companion when she was older. Of course she didn't exactly know what the profession would include. She just knew that they were beautiful people that everyone loved.
"You probably also get better clients... most of mine are deadbeats." She joked lamely. It wasn't long until they arrived at the ship.
The captain had a vague idea of where he'd find Cari and those that went with her on account of her having some usual hot spots she always checked on Persephone for replace parts for Tranquility. The trick however was finding which one she went to first and rather than play that game, he decided to go back to the ship first and see if anyone staid behind. It would narrow the search to a degree and assuming his crew mates remembered to take their communicators, he'd be able to contact them all via the ship in no time.
Passing through the crowds he set his eyes on the love of his life; his ship and was almost there when he spotted a familiar red head and a new friend apparently. A friend who... had luggage, he had a bad feeling about this already... red heads had a knack for causing that caution in him. Approaching them casually he said with a courtious enough smile "Natalie, it's been a while, how are you?" Glancing to Ariel he then added "And who is your friend here?"
Natalie jumped when the captain spoke. "Oh, captain... Honestly, I've been better." She said with a nervousness about her. "Uhm This is Ariel. She was looking for transport, and I told her that if you had any vacancies, our ship was likely to be leaving soon, and might be a good choice."
She hoped that she had worded it in a way that would allow the captain to decline the passenger if there was a problem. She looked back to the woman. "Uhm, Ariel, Captain, Captain, Ariel... I think I'll be heading to my room now." She said in an attempt to get out of sight. After all, out of sight out of mind.
