She follows quickly after him, relaxing once they were out of sight of the others as well. "We can look at places you are comfortable going to. And vines don't always have to be green, or friendly, even. They would make great defense, and would help keep a home cool in the hot summer heat." She says, stepping up beside him.

He nodded and watched her. "A fortress...a fortress of vines, thorns to keep away unwanted eyes..I do think...I could get use to that...yes.." He lead the female down the alleys and back streets to the far end of town. If nothing else the baddie new how to stay out of sight, keeping to the shadows when people came near. "You did well...in the market, perhaps even better than myself.." He ran his claws along the nearest wall, he letting out a sigh at the sound of his claws on the brick.

She follows after him, blinking at the statement. "Oh? Considering my tail was about two times its normal size and the urge to have a wall of thorns come up around us was so strong I almost gave in, I'll take that as a compliment. Although you were doing better than I. You didn't even acknowledge that we were being stared at." She scowls at a strange fae that came too close, clutching the strap of her bag possessively and causing the bag to sprout thorns everywhere but where she touched it until the fae kept on his original path. She sped up, keeping close to Volatile in the shadows now.

The male noted as the vines lashed out, he smirking and reaching behind himself and pulling her in close against his body. "You were doing good till now..and i was hardly doing well, I was blocking them out...I go...into a tunnel when I cannot handle things, a dark place, in my mind." He moved through the alley and came out in a rather run down section of town, a small abandoned house to the side of them, he nodding. "This is what I was thinking..." The house was made of wood, but it was hardly in good repair, the shutters falling off along with the siding. "It is lovely isn't it?"

She allows herself to be pulled in close to him, calming down slightly. "I almost wish I had some place like that in my mind to go to." She says softly, then blinks and looks over the building for a moment before nodding. "This will do very nicely. It'll need a little bit of work, but... It's livable. Too big for once person, though..." She frowns again, tail flicking slightly.

The male held her close, his paw at her hip as she looked the house over. He grinned and nodded, he understanding that he was a lucky being, being able to shut the world out of his mind, and most times, even his heart. He looked into her eyes and chuckled, her words not lost on him to say the least. This house was too big for just one person. "I a certain there are others that will stay with you, friends...perhaps even a mate that would stay in that perfect house with you...yes?" He laughed

Freeziyana doesn't object to the contact, looking over the house again before frowning. "Tch... Aside from you and the rat from earlier, I don't have any friends. Nor a mate." She shrugs slightly, as if it didn't bother her when in reality, it did. "So unless you don't think you could stand sharing living space with a wood witch..."

The male looked at her, he slightly confused, but smirking. "I do not think it would be a terrible fate...if you think you can live with a toxic waste dump." He gave her a questioning glance, he had not expected to be invited to live with her. "I am not certain the rats will move in, but normally...if I am there...they come." He looked to the house. "Want to look inside?"

She raises an eyebrow at his description of himself and blinks. "I don't see you as a toxic waste dump. I think its a useful and unique ability. You can melt things without leaving a lot of waste behind, like garbage. And the rats can feel free to move in as well if they wish. I have no problems with them, either." She gives a small smile, then nods. "Sure, let's go take a look, hrm?"

The male was left there, blinking, confused. Here there was this female, who should have thought him disgusting, rude and unlikable, and she was inviting him to live with her, sharing a roof and being kind to him. He stood there in silence for a moment before following her into the house, he having to duck his head under afew beams that seemed to have fallen from door frames and the like, but otherwise, the interior of the house looked much better than the out.
It seemed as if the faes that had lived her before had simply left in a hurry, the furniture and fixing all still in place, though covered in dust. He lifted a brow and nodded. "Apparently they had to get up and go.." He smirked.

She wanders through the house, noting everything still there and frowns the slightest bit. "Hrm... What would cause an entire family to up and leave, leaving everything behind?" As she walks, she calls up some stronger vines to come in and pull up the downed beams, strengthening the supports of the others as well so that they weren't in any danger of having a collapse themselves. "Do you think perhaps if we make the outside as unfriendly as possible that we would keep from being disturbed?" She says, looking over at Volatile.

The baddie shrugged and moved to a large, overstuffed couch, he falling on it, making the dust fly up into the air. He laughed and looked to her. "Doesn't matter, their loss is our gain right?" he grinned and watched as she fixed the door. "Well yea, I think if we make the place look like crap people will stay the hell away, but, do we want that? The looking like crap I mean?" He pushed his feet against the far arm of the couch, stretching. "Doesn't look like there have been any people here for some time as it is, normally they don't come out this far."

She blinks, then shrugs slightly at that. "This is true. Old habits die hard, you could say." She says, walking back out and sitting on a chair nearby.

"One cannot fault another for old habits...after all, I was more than willing to lock you up and keep you as a slave..rather than let you go..though..you sort of ruined those plans...Why do you have to be so damn agreeable?" He laughed and sat up, his head on his knees as he watched her. "I thought the fae world hated those like me..thought we were disgusting and cruel...yet you see me and you are all 'Well I could go get my things and then be your cook'" He rolled his eyes. "It is confusing as hell..."

She thinks on that for a moment, then shrugs slightly. "Probably because you didn't act like every other race I'd actually had an encounter with. Made me hate you less than those others out there. So, why not stick around and repay the help you've given? It's not likely I'd run into anyone else as helpful as you've been. And there really wouldn't have been a point to running away or fighting, since you'd win." She points out, chuckling slightly.
