Ellen was glad she didn't start cooking her curry so soon, as Zeo and Woli added their fantastic ingrediants of destruction, Ellen let out a nervous laugh and turned to Toru, "Maybe you should cook the curry, I'll do the riceballs, we don't have enough time to make sushi as well, so we have to use all the time we can have!" Ellen made sure the battery pack was in the rice steamer, and taking out a plastic bottle she ooured all the water in into the steamer and as much rice as she could into it. Ellen had the canned meat in her arm and was rushing over to the cooking area to cook the meat while the rice was steaming. Everything will go well!
...
Right?

There was an air of doom permeating the campground now, heavier than when it had just been emanating from the pot that Yukiko and Chie had been working together to cook for he and his partner in crime at the picnic table. Before he could keep his attention focused on the dangerous task at hand (enduring whatever terrible concoction they had come up with for the two of them to eat), but now it was more ominous, he couldn't place exactly what had changed but it was like something terrible was about to take over the entire campsite. There was no way something like that could happen though, right? Even Jo(Shu)'s implication that Rose's creation was going to be even worse than those two's cooking was utterly laughable...not in a million years could anybody produce a dish more instantly-regrettable than Mystery Food X, and that was a scientific fact (no, really...you can't). Still...even if it was just Rose and the two girls in their group creating a culinary monstrosity, it shouldn't have felt this bad. It was just that sense of self-preservation inside of him that told him to run; things were about to get very real in this campground, whether he wanted it to or not. It was hard to concentrate on anything, in fact, with that lingering feeling inside of him...but he managed an uneasy laugh at his new acquaintance and club-mate's suggestions and nodded a vague assent when he agreed to hightail it out of the vicinity once the food was being served. Idly, he thought t hat he had done his good deed for the day...Mystery Food X Version 2.0, if that was really on the evening's menu, was no place for rookies to tread. As a Vet, maybe he had built up a little bit of a tolerance. Then again...

"I remember, Toru," the Senior smirked slightly, welcoming any conversation that would distract from the heavy atmosphere and the current snafu between Zeo, Yukiko, and Chie (because really, there was NOTHING good that could come from that combination), "we met back in April, when you were hanging out with...Yukiko." And as soon as he thought it he regretted it...that wasn't exactly the sort of thing he wanted to be remembering right now, either. That the Amagi the two of them had known back then wasn't the real one, and that the one that had been his real friend had been kidnapped at that time. It was lucky in a way that Toru and she had cut ties when they did, otherwise...it could have been him who ended up in the sad way that Leon had afterward. Matter of inches, maybe...or the matter of a moment. No, he didn't want to think about that. Instead, he thought about what it would be like if the dinner they served tonight was edible, an impossible little dream that he couldn't help but wonder about given that he was practically starving by now.

Seemed that even though last night he had eaten so much he felt like bursting, he was just as hungry tonight as he had been then. Would it be like that for a while now that he was off the intravenous of the hospital? He wasn't sure, but one thing he did know was that his stomach was betraying him. Didn't it remember the horror?

...Well even if it didn't, it was about to find out once more. It was just about time for Dinner to be served...

Toru gave a fierce determined nod, against all odds he would do the impossible and make a good batch of curry at this camp, he heard at least one person did last year and refused to share, but! I he succeeded there might be some for ... almost everyone, first his group. Grabbing the ingredients Toru looked over what he had. Making curry, decent and attempting to do such in a timely manner with out it getting tainted, what might be a challenge. It might be hard, impossible maybe, but Challenge Accepted. Unwrapping one of the wrap thing of ingredients Toru pulled out one of the knives and started quickly and precisely cutting vegetables before pulling grabbing the pot and tossing the- 'why's there all this random...stuff in here.' he asked himself with out a second thought emptying the mixture of ... stuff left be some monkey like person and adding his own stuff. Next was... adding the seeds and... spices. While heating the vegetables and seed mixture and keeping and extremely close eye on it. While watching a heating the first combination he started mixing a yogurt and cornstarch combination and started heating that until he could could mix it with the vegetable combination. It was an easy recipe, not one easily mess with partially because it was simple, and he would most likely notices anything too odd it it, and if not then he could try to work it in although that might be on its own and impossible task. But he hope for his sake he could make a half way decent meal for Ellen and the others... Partially because he knew he could cook and didn't want to disappoint Ellen. Although there was chance for the vegetable curry to be mess with, unfortunately one couldn't keep a perfect eye on two things at once.

Woli, the Innocent Thief

'Plop, plop, plop!'

No sooner had Ellen and Toru begun mixing their own ingredients a little too conveniently after the tainting of the food than did a very vague, almost distant sound of something dropping into a pot of...something quietly ring, not even enough to grab the attention of either as the first opportunity to look away for even a split second (or even blink) left them vulnerable. And when the looked back, the sudden aching of a monkey boy's stomach lead him to pilfer the leftover ingredients and food in the bags of both, though in the end those were shared with his friends more than they were devoured by the boy himself. Never-ending supply of bananas seemed to come in handy every now and then. Too bad nobody down at ground level of the campout were so lucky as to have one of those. Looked like if they wanted to impress one another with their cooking, they would have to do it some other time...because the ninja monkey had managed to strike again! With lightning efficiency! Woosh!

Kusuri Keiraku, the Scarred Junior
What the?
Kusuri felt something in her curry that shouldn't be in it.
Something...curved and long.
Picking it up, she realized it was....a Banana? That wasn't...How did.....
Plopping it in the trash, (perfectly good waste) she decided that she would do best to try to salvage some of her own supplies for food tonight, instead of trying this curry.

The banana hadn't been whole, so she couldn't be certain it hadn't already partially mixed. Either way, she wasn't eating it.

Eido Aeroda
Jo(shu) waved a bit as he watched Toru starting off to cook with Ellen, as he felt his pockets. Yep, all of his snacks were still there. Probably for the best.
And with that ruckus of Chie and Yukiko (And Zeo), he sighed.
"Well, looks like your dinner might be postponed." he called lightly to the senior, smiling lightly with a hint of jealousy in his voice. "Lucky you, Seta-kun."

He was trying to think of a way out of Rose's food as he stood, before raising a hand.
"Hopefully, this'll be the last bits of excitement I have to put up with in a while." he called, lightly. "Not sure about you, but this old soul's had about enough excitement for a while."

Which, although Jo(shu) didn't know it, was a lot like preaching to the choir. Of course, he couldn't know about Souji and his gang's 'adventures', but either way....
He figured he'd bring the idea up. Maybe they could tell scary stories or something tonight.

Eido's stomach growled. It hungered for many things.
Aside from the usual demands, he was ready for food. He heard another kid remark on how his food was done, before turning back, watching Rose move about in the kitchen.
Such a beauty. Surely her food would match her smokin bod. Red Hot!

Of course, Eido figured himself able to stomach about anything, and he was almost sure that he'd be able to eat whatever she decided was best. I mean, it was a girl, cooking for him. How could that not rock?

Mao, the Shining Hero of Justice!!!?

After a long days work, it was time for dinner. Mao himself had oh so geniusly decided to prepare the food himself, letting his group members know that he'd do it for them.

He'd started making Rice balls, a very simple, elegant, and easy to manipulate food. A few of them had been gifted with something good, like plums or some of the mushrooms that the animal buddies of Woli had. A few had been...gifted with something less than good, like a minor sleeping agent, or a caffiene pill, or a crushed laxative, and some had things that most people wouldn't really readily recognize. All carefully placed so that they wouldn't be visible through the naked eye.

He'd decided to use this little example for some field tests. Nothing like getting some experiment data in..

"Dinner's on Guys!" he called as he set up his food on the table, adjusting his glasses as his perfectly harmless [lie] rice balls sat, waiting for the test subjects to volunteer.

"Well that failed, and sucks"
Something was off now, he could smell it, but he was pretty sure he couldn't remove what ever tainted the food, but maybe it was still edible, grabbing one of the spoons he tasted in. Yeah, It was pretty bad, not to the point of THIS WILL KILL YOU, but it wasn't good that was for sure maybe it was... slightly edible, I mean it was better than nothing. Well when i doubt, add more salt... Toru nodded reaching for the little leftover salt and other small spices he had, seriously don't think anyone would steal that, although the lack of the remaining vegetables was enough to get him pretty made, because he's only fall back was gone now, so he had to make the pot of food count or get creative. Maybe the additional spice would help, after a little mixing he tasted it again, it was still bad, still only slightly edible. "Well, that failed, I guess it tastes better than... nothing." He said pretty much lying to himself, but it was edible. sort of depending out your definition of edible

The Coincedental Sinblings, Allen Galietsu & Ellen Galietsu

"I don't think this is gonna go great..."
"We can do this!"

----------------------------------------------------

Ellen left the meat to check on the steaming rice on the picnic table, it wasn't done yet, but she should prepare the... What the hell? Where the hell were the ingredients to make the rice sticky? Ellen looked around wildly for the suspect but she couldn't see a convict. For a moment Ellen had her head down with a feeling of defeat, but then a fire was in her eyes. Rolling up her sleeves and doing her hair back with a white and red checkered hankerchief, she resembled a mom on house clean up day. Picking up the rice steamer she brought it to the kitchen and poured the rice in with the pan with meat, if they couldn't have riceballs, then stirfry it was! She started stirring the rice and meat around while the left over unstolen ingrediants were simply oil. They were going to have dinner! And their big sis Ellen was gonna make sure that was gonna happen!

"...And then you mix everything in the pot, add soy souce....let it fry for a moment and...then wait." The blond explained to her friend simply as she poured the chopped vegetables into the pot, not noticing as nuts, twigs, roots, and most importantly, bananas mixed along with them. They had been able to save some of the rice from the chocolate attack earlier (some had to be sacrificed...but, at least it wasn't a complete loss)...no really what had that been about? A moment the girls were chopping onions and carrots as the white rice heated on the pot...and the next, Zeo was sprinting about, dropping chocolate bars into each pot, exclaiming something about a secret ingredient of...love...or something. They had been lucky the chocolate bar wasn't completely melted by the time she snapped away from the shock and actually reacted, removing it from the pot (what did those things have anyway?! They melted so darn fast!). This assault though, had been completely silent, unnoticeable...almost as if a ninja in the shadows was trying to poison them all with questionably edible ingredients. "And, it should take just a few more minutes," she continued, giving a nod before returning green eyes to the food in process, mixing in the ingredients...which felt...strange. Hey! Was that a twig just there?! ... ... The blond spooned the mysterious object out, only to find out that...yes, it was a twig, in fact. "Strange..." she mumbled to herself, her eyes shifting momentarily above of them, looking for trees this little piece of wood had fallen from. Ah...yeah. That was probably it.

Well! It was nothing...With it gone, there was no harm done, right? The blond senior shrugged away the thoughts, stretching her arms above her in an attempt to release the cramps that had appeared after the whole day of picking up trash. She felt tired...but deep inside she knew it was still a long way before she could close her eyes and drift into a peaceful (and if not that...at uninterrupted) sleep. The first proof of it painting out to be a long night passed in front of her eyes in form of a blue blur followed by a furious Chie, running behind the android. S-so… their dinner had been ruined? The girl blinked as she gazed at the scene, and as comedic as it looked, she couldn’t help but to feel a little bad for them. Making dinner was serious business (srs bzns!)…and it being ruined, well…

Amelia M. Heartilly

All the while, Amelia was paying close attention to the instructions that Minori was giving off as if keeping some mental note of it as if she was planning to someday cook this herself. The whole time she was chopping down the veggies, she was holding a focused, intense face on her as if some sort of perfection trigger went off and she didn't want to screw anything up like... chopping off her own finger or making the sizes too uneven. Nope, she wanted this to be perfect and to show that she wasn't that handicapped with kitchen utensils. Nothing should go wrong! ...save for the fact that half of their rice was a little ruined by the chocolate that Zeo made... and seeing that people were starting to get distressed with their own mixes being in some sort of ruin, she had to make sure that theirs were spared! And so far so good... Yep, she didn't notice the ninja placing in his own add-on in the pot that Min was now mixing with the chopped veggies the blond already poured in. The whole time Amelia thought that he was back at her home, nope, already he was having his own antics involving the campers around. The raven haired girl leaned to peer over Minori's shoulder as she looked into the mix until she spotted a... The girl blinked. Wait... Minori had already looked up and around, making the girl step back some with question before mimicking her, wondering what it was that took the girl's attention.

"..Well, it looks like it's ready, yeah?" she said with a grin after the soy was added on. She was waiting for the right time to serve herself, and just when it was right, so did she get herself a plate to go ahead and scoop up the dish and place it on her plate and, sadly, took the first bite... The first was clear, and the girl was enjoying herself thus far with the rice, chewing away as she tasted the veggies. With another quick and anxious bite she continued on. But Amelia suddenly froze in place, her teeth biting down on something unpleasant. Something was wrong. Now, this wasn't right at all! Just what was in her mouth? Something completely hard.. and.. what was this sweet and squishy thing? She flinched when she felt something sharp and had enough to chew. She couldn't swallow this! What.. what got into this? And with a quick turn she spat out the remnants and turned her head back, rubbing at her mouth and looked down at her plate.

"What's in this?" she asked suddenly, picking at it with her utensil only to find a,.. piece of twig.. then an acorn? Wha-- She suddenly looked up at the tree then back..then back at the pot and peeked in to see something inside. She grabbed the spoon and moved some of the rice and veggies and..shrooms... aside only to see part of a yellow peel along with a banana... ...She put the spoon down, closing her eyes for a moment. There weren't any bananas here...not in this area... Her eyes suddenly opened and shifted to the trees around them, as if expected she might find the one thing. "We have a monkey at our midst..." she muttered to herself before she sighed sadly.

"Min..." she looked back. "...I don't mean to offend.. no really!" she waved her hand suddenly. "But.. " And she was sure that Minori would more than agree if she were to take a thorough look herself. So, they, too, weren't spared from the ruins of their dishes. Amelia frowned. "Well..maybe if we, uh, eat around it, it could work...?" Her stomach suddenly growled, yet the rich girl was still in some denial that they did something to mess this up. She lowered down her head... then looked to the side as if she was going to give just one more, desperate shot at maybe a Plan C with this. "...Ever tried smores?" it was futile to fill up their stomachs, but, what else could they do? And dinner time was almost over...

Mataki Hito
Student Council President

"Everyone please try to remain in your groups." Mataki chided nonchalantly as Zeo and Chie ran by, a sign that everything was not going as planned during the campout, much to the chagrine of the person in charge of the entire cooking fiasco of the time. He'd been given one warning by the former Student Council President last year, and that warning held a very simple, and direct meaning that he would not so easily forget. 'Do not let Yukiko Amagi, or Chie Satonaka, cook. Ever.' Someone said they had to call the medic in the case of Soji Seta, and to his own right he could remember a deal being made around the tents last year which he hadn't taken the time to investigate, but now it seemed like the blue haired android might be doing everyone a favor by pitching in at cooking for the silverette's group, since something gave Mataki a wary yet stable feeling that the two would have drawn him in again, all in a vain attempt to get him to eat their cooking. Which, now that he began thinking about the situation, seemed to be the exact details of the current ruckus.

But his own predicament wasn't much better, judging from the aura of doom that surrounded their own pot of whatever-Minori-had-been-making. "Mr. Monkey, I'll give you some instant ramen if you don't poison anyone else's food, okay? Please stop trying to kill everyone." Mataki shouted at the trees, holding up a cup in offering so long as Woli would stop adding his own 'ingredients' into the current foods...but then he thought about it a minute, scratched his chin, and seemed to change his mind, though his face gave no outward signs he had thought anything different. "I mean uh, would you mind adding some more of your extra-delicious bugs and berries and...twigs...to mister Soji's over there? He and Amelia are close friends." Mataki asked, pointing off to the other side of the camp. Their group was separated from the rest, so there was no way anyone would notice Mataki was talking to the hopeless monkey man, except maybe for Haseo, but then again...eh, who cared if Haseo caught on, right? At the very least, it was interesting. Who was to say whether the Student Council President should be encouraging this behavior or not? And especially of a stranger. Adding various ingredients in student's meal. Come oooooon..."If you don't mind, I brought some curry ingredients as backup. But, that's assuming you can guard them from our...uninvited guest..." Mataki said, standing up from on top of the cooler he'd been guarding for all the time, and revealing where he'd hidden what he could. If Woli were to swoop in at this moment and claim it all, that was none of his business, but in the meantime his eyes were trained squarely on Amelia. Couldn't keep her pet trained to stay inside, hm? Anyone looking at his face would know they were going to have a long, LONG talk about this one...but that was for then. "Oh, and if you wouldn't mind, could I trade you for one of those bananas?" Mataki asked, turning back towards the trees where Woli was (in general), while holding up the cup ramen again. Toootally a fair trade...in the end...if he could master the packaged food...which Mataki was also willing to test, in the end.

Yuno

When had Bananas gotten into her food? That was odd. Not that she hadn't used some unusual ingredients in her food before, but bananas? And curry? Maybe that wasn't quite the sort of mix she wanted to feed her group... but she'd already mixed those in... ooh, ooh! She knew! Humming happily, the girl picked up the pot and carried it towards the teachers' area. It'd take some time for the dissolved sleeping pills to work, but the staff would probably be sleeping pretty soundly tonight, and the drugs would be out of their system by morning! In case, say, somebody cute and adorable and completely innocent happened to have a nightmare and went to a friend for emotional reassurance, there might be rather fewer people on patrol... "Sensei! Yuno brought some food for all of you!" the girl called. One had to know when to modify plans, after all.

The blond hadn't need to listen to Amelia to know that someone had tampered with their dinner when she had gone ahead and scooped some for her own after the dark haired girl and noticed that something wasn't exactly right. "..." What was that?! She was sure that roots, acorns and bananas weren't ingredients for this recipe... and yet, here they were, mixed with the rest of the vegetables. How...when...WHY? She was starving! And they wouldn't have dinner because it had been ruined by some mysterious ninja. And...not to mention the waste of some good ingredients. She pouted, and hung her head down in defeat, before giving a hesitant nod to Amelia as an answer. "I...I guess we could..." Only that...she wasn't so sure herself. Banana had a strong flavor, and they would be rather lucky if the whole plate didn't taste like such; besides...Who knew were had those extra ingredients come from...It...it should probably be better to leave it at that.

An exasperated sigh escaped her lips as she covered the pot with its lid, shaking her head. Yeah...it would be better to leaave it. Besides, it wasn't as if they would die of hunger if they didn't have dinner tonight. Her stomach thought otherwise as it growl out in protest. "Aaaaame ~" the girl whined, walking over to her friend and slumping her forehead over the girl's shoulder. It wasn't fair! Hadn't they picked up enough trash? Hadn't they worked all day under the sun (exaggeration)? Why would they be punished this way then? Without food! Minori snapped out from her overdramatic thoughts, listening to her friend speak up again in a midly hesitant manner. "Smores? ..." She had heard of the Western campfire treat before...but, she hadn't had one before. Or at least, nothing that could be considered as such. "N-no." But, she could try them now...Hey, they were desperate. And if Amelia had a plan...then she was alright with it....whatever it might be. It was better than nothing.

The rich girl could only sigh some and rub at Minori's head with comfort, sharing the pain of the loss of a possibly good meal for them and the rest of the group. Her eyes looked over to Mataki and Haseo before she looked back at Min having her moment of whining. If it were any other time, she would've thought it adorable, but no, she knew how she felt. It was then she pulled away when Minori let off her shoulder, going to a small extra bag nearby that she took with her then opened it up. "Well I originally thought that we were going to sit around the camp, but..." Amelia sighed, unzipping it and taking out the materials for the sweet treats. "Teachers are going to kick us back into our tents so we might as well do it now before our time is up." She smiled a little sadly over at Minori before she opened up the box of graham crackers while having a few bars of chocolate along with a big bag of large marshmallows. Hm..well, best that the rest of the group should join in as well.

"Haseo!" she called out, abandoning the materials to go over and get the rest of her group, walking with her arms crossed. What in the world was-- Mataki had ramen.... ... That jerk! And to think they were going to feed him! Amelia's eye twitched once and she lowered her head, but kept on walking anyway. Looked like he was talking to her monkey friend. Wherever he is, didn't look like Woli was ready to reveal himself to the snake that was offering him up a cup of ramen. Through, before she could open her mouth, she saw the stare that Mataki gave her, and instantly knew that she was going to get an earful later. "..Oh grand..." Amelia waved him off, mostly showing that it wasn't her fault and it wasn't like she has control over Woli anyway. She lets him do whatever he pleases so long as he doesn't get himself into trouble. "We're about to make some smores, since our dinner didn't ...go as planned." her eyes reverted to the side, a bit of pink growing at her face. Man, that just sounded bad. "If you want some, gotta join in." With that noted she quickly went back over to Minori before either of them would ask what happened, the girl getting back. And along the way she was picking off a few sticks to take with her. "Alright Min! Here." she opened up the back of the white fluffs then handed one over to Minori along with a stick, a excited smile going on the rich girl's face. Was this the part that she was looking forward to in the trip? "There's a first time for everything. Hold this so you can roast it by the fire."

Time had passed. Garbage had been collected (despite the distracting shiny parts), and disposed of in properly separated containers. And then food had been prepared. Oh, yes, very prepared indeed. In this absolutely fantastic outdoor excursion created as a way to better get with nature and perform all manner of ritualized entertainment involving practical observation of the effects of heating giant marshmallows above a live flame. But before that... dinner! The girl whirled around and set a covered dish down on the table. "Darling! Ku-chan! People gave me all kinds of ingredients for the food!" she said with a huge smile on her face. "I love camping!" And she whirled off the cover of the plate to reveal... bananas dipped in chocolate. "Let's eat!"
