Dee was in the kitchen working on the family meal when she noticed Rock looking rather upset. As she stirred the pasta in the rather large cooking pot that looked more like a cauldron for its size, Dee asked, "what's on your mind Rock? Getting hungry already? Dinner will be in about an hour or so. We're having baked spaghetti and meat cutlets with tomato sauce and goat cheese."

Rock said " No, I'm not hungry. Andy and Radditz destroyed the wall to my room. There's some of Radditz's blood on the carpet." then he put on his serious face for the last part " I also plan to move out of here."

Dee laughed, "Oh dear me, you had to go through that torture. I know, Raditz's blood stinks. No worries, I will get that cleaned up. As for the moving out part, you know that you have the Northern section of Southtown all to yourself, right? Or did you already forget that skirmish that you had when you rebelled and tried to join Addes? That Northern section is still yours and remember, if that doesn't satisfy you, Geese Howard did leave you his corporation for you so, if you don't like it here you can always go there. Terry and I are not forcing you to stay here. All of my children moved out shortly after they were born, even Corrigan moved out. And he was the youngest ever to do so!"
Caressing Rock's face in a motherly way, she concluded, "There's nothing stopping you. Oh, but there is one thing I would like you to do for me. A teensy favor. Could you get the others here for dinner. It'll be done soon. Besides I wanna have a word with Raditz and Andy about their sparring in the bedroom rule again. Raditz will fix the wall that he broke."

Rock a little creeped out by that show of affection said " Fine. I will." He then headed up the stairs to let the others know. Rock would finally have a place without having to worry about people fighting or little saiyan/wolf hybrid destroying his stuff. he would finish this simple task then start packing.

Dee chuckled to herself and smiled as she had strained the pasta and shredded some cheese using an impressive display from a sword she had acquired when in Azeroth last.
The sword glowed a faint blue and it was indeed heavy, but it did the job nicely and the cheese was spread evenly amongst the long strands of pasta that was spaghetti. She placed the pasta into the oven and set the timer. Then, she flew into the fields where she saw the grazing pegasi still enjoying the night air. With sword in hand, she slaughtered one with ease.
A cry of the other animal could be heard throughout southtown followed by large thuds of it heading towards the mansion. "Oh? You think you can just ruin our lives, Mr. Pegasus? Look, my son may have been studying you, but little does he know that I had brought you and your mate here earlier for dinner. Your elder said that your times were up."
The half-cow, half horse glared at Dee ready to charge, but Dee was ready for it. As soon as it was close enough she slaughtered that one as well. She wondered if Rock had seen the display. She wondered if he knew just how strong she really was and that day when she battled with him so long ago was when she wasn't at her best and the training she has had these short 10 years have been fruitful to say the least.
She cleaned the meat, stored the skins, and trashed the rest in a proper composting pile she had made long ago when she first came to Southtown and began cooking for the Bogards. She then went inside and finished preparing the meal.
45 minutes later and the meal was set out on the long table, which to one's eyes, no one would even suspect that this meal was as fresh as fresh it can be. It looked divine and smelled even better.

Rock heard the sound of the pegasus' cry but thought nothing of it since it usually meant someone's pet or something was there. He knocked on Andy's door and let them know that dinner was ready. He wandered down the rest of the halls letting the others know that it was time to eat. He arrived at the last door which was the playroom for Terry and Vegeta's kids. He knocked on the door and said " Dinner's ready"

As usual, Kogaku bowled Rock over in an unfair race to the dinner table. The young cub was yipping and making playful barking sounds to egg Rock on. Talonflame and Brianna just looked at each other then needlessly tried to help Rock to his feet.
They could tell Rock was angry enough to kill the little squirt and hoped that Rock would be at least sensible about the situation. Andy and Raditz too made a race out of getting to the dinner table, but forgetting all about Raditz's wounds.
Terry was the last to come down the stairs, but when he did arrive at the dinner table, he was all "green" in the face. "Raditz!" He scolded, trying to keep the nausea at bay, "You had better do something about those wounds before you eat. You are destroying everyone's appetites!"
Raditz growled, but headed back up the stairs in silence to mend his cuts.
Kogaku wasted no time with his dinner. He took a quick sniff of it and wolfed it down. Vegeta simply laughed at his son's behavior. "Well," he said, "Someone was hungry."
Looking to Rock, Dee said, "Maybe now would be a good time to voice what you had told me earlier...not about the wall or the blood business, but that other thing."

Rock cleared his throat " I've come to the decision that it's time for me to move out. I haven't decided where I'm moving to but I plan to start packing as soon as dinner is over" he waited to see everyone's reaction to his news. He did know one thing he was not going to miss Kogaku. That little cub is in the top two on his list of annoying people.

Terry had a shocked look strike him, but then he softly smiled, "So, what you are saying is that Dee and I have done all that we can to raise you and now you wish to try your hand at independent living?"
Rock nodded silently, but glared at the begging Kogaku for more food. Dee noticed this. She said, "Well, there was that, that Rock mentioned, but I think its more to do with the fact that the mansion's a bit too small for him now. Let's face it, with Raditz here, Rock doesn't get the quiet time that he used to."
Raditz growled at Dee in a challenging way. Dee merely raised her hand at Raditz to quiet him and that she meant no offense. Then she said, "I suggested the ol' Geese Building that was entrusted to Rock or somewhere in the Northern section of the city. But...judging from the look on Rock's face, I don't think either is going to really satisfy him. Terry, what would you suggest?"
Terry gulped down a piece of Pegasi cutlet then replied, "Well, wherever Rock does decide to move he's got to understand that it won't be free like it is here, so he's also got to consider work if he is serious on moving out."
Vegeta smirked at this, "Well, the only job I can think of suitable for Rock is a clothes designer. Now before all of you try and beat on me for this suggestion, I am dead serious. Just last week, I asked Rock to make for me a new suit of armor for battle. I am wearing it right now!"
Dee's eyes went wide, then she said, "Now that is sturdy. You go through the most intense workout and for it to not even have a single crack in it...wait...Vegeta, your armor is made of metals. That would put Rock working in Azeroth as a Blacksmith and in Dwarven lands. I don't think Rock would appreciate being a dwarf!"
Raditz began to giggle earning him a swift elbow to the stomach from Andy. Andy then said, "Perhaps not working as a dwarf. Nah, he'd be a blood elf considering his fair hair and height. Then again...I don't think he would like working so closely to Trunks Truesdale. Hmm...this is quite the puzzle. But, Vegeta does make a good point when it comes to smithing armor."
Dee then said, "Andy, I don't think Rock would be working with Truesdale. Truesdale hasn't been in Azeroth for quite some time and even if Truesdale should be in Azeroth, it won't be near the areas that Rock would be working. Remember, Truesdale is in Pandaria, just like you."
Andy blushed, "Oh yeah...Rock would have to start at level 1 in the sunstrider area. But I gotta admit, I so want to see him on one of them dragon hawk mounts. He would look awesome on one of them."
Dee added, "But, Andy, you know as well as I do that he's got to be level 60 or higher to get a flying mount like a dragon hawk and not even Truesdale really has one of those. He is always on that Albino dragon we have grazing all the time."

Rock just let them talk amongst themselves about his job problem. He wasn't interested in Azeroth, Pandaria or any other place in warcraft. As for finding a job, He was sure it wouldn't take him long to find one. There were plenty of fighters in the town who had their own businesses. Surely some of them were looking for new employees. If nothing else fails, he could always make outfits for trainers and their pokemon. He noticed that Terry wasn't the only one with a sad look. He glanced over at the girls seeing the sad looks they had.

Terry then said, "Well, I say we just let Rock choose his career. I mean, if he wants our help, he'll just ask for it."
Vegeta's smirk got bigger then he said, "If he thinks for one minute that he is going to train Pokemon, he has another thing coming! He is way too formidable for that place and those pokemon would eat him for lunch!"
Looking at Rock, Vegeta said, "Look, kid, the only reason why all of us suggest Azeroth is because you are more like us fighters than you realize. Being surrounded by fighters is what makes your life what it is. Imagine, for one moment getting rich because of the armor those people need in that place. You would be doing all of them a huge service. And who cares about Truesdale and Dee and Terry for when they show up there! Its not like they are going to ask for what you make! Dee here is a jewelcrafter so, if anything, she can give you some of the materials you need to work if you want. And you don't even have to accept what she offers! Terry here is a leatherworker just like Andy is, so the only time you'd ever see them in Azeroth at all is hunting animals for their skins. You may even have a laugh as they get torn to shreds by those beasts! I know that I do. Take a saiyan's advice...if you want some place to live that's as far from Dee and Terry as possible, Azeroth is where you will have to go. Dee and Terry and Trunks all train pokemon daily and therefore you would not be satisfying your true desire to get away from them now would you if you trained Pokemon?"
Rock glared at Vegeta with cold eyes, but knew deep down that he was right. The farther away from Dee and Terry the better. He may not like Azeroth because its so primitive, but then again, if its as far from Dee as possible, he'd take the offer. Sighing heavily, Rock said, "I will think about it, Vegeta. I definitely don't want to be near anyone from this family for quite a while. Its just...its just too stressful. Yes, I was thinking about training Pokemon or getting a job here in town, but I really could get a job anywhere. I just want to go someplace peaceful where I can hear myself think! I don't want to have to witness any gay loving if it isn't my own. I don't want to have to smell any saiyan within 100 meters of me. I need some serious peace and quiet!"
The young Howard half-ling knew he was shouting needlessly, but he was becoming stressed out just from the conversation.
Terry then stood as he was finished eating then placed a loving fatherly hand on Rock's shoulder and said, "If its peace and quiet you need and to be away from us, then there is only one place where you can work and get what you want. I will contact Theodore in Flower Bud village for you. They are always looking for hired help and you can get your own place there for cheap. Plus, Dee and I never go there anymore. You might see Ochru's son Keitaro there, but he won't pay you any mind. He's got his own agenda. He won't even bother you. Think about it. I'm going to go have a shower."
Terry then gave Dee and Vegeta a kiss before heading upstairs, leaving his clothes scattered as he changed in travel. Dee giggled as she knew that she'd have to pick those up before Kogaku decides to mark them with his own rinse.

Having the warm water rush down his face was a blessing to him. In his mind, Terry thought, "Oh Rock, there you go again...speaking your rebellion towards those who wish nothing but the best of you. How long has it been anyhow since I first adopted you?"
Terry sighed as he squirt a dab of shampoo into his hand before massaging the carnation scented liquid into his hair. He tried to think back, Terry did, of the first moment that he found Rock abandoned and scared in that dark alley. He remembered the horror in the boy's face as both Iori and someone whose name Terry had long since forgotten had closed in on Rock. He remembered the powerful moves that he used to free Rock from those that would only wish to do him harm.
Unaware that Dee had come into the room, Terry began voicing his thoughts aloud, which only went as far as the bedroom door. Only Dee heard what he was saying now.
"Now I remember...you were only 6 when I first met you, Rock. Heh, I had no idea at the time that you were his son. Then when I met your mom shortly after...in the hospital...I knew then what I really had to do. So many years have passed since then. Maybe...maybe...maybe it is time to let you go and let you become free of your cage."
Dee knocked on the bathroom door and said through it closed, "Honey, are you okay in there? Or did my swampert somehow join you without my notice?"
Terry nearly choked on the soap he was rinsing out, but managed to rinse it all out before replying, "I'm okay, Dee. No, Swampert ain't here. Why, you looking for the little blighter? I know he can be as slippery as an eel, but..."
"No, no, I wasn't looking for swampert," Dee said next, "I just thought you were talking to a Pokemon. You seem troubled about what Rock said at dinner and I thought that maybe swampert came in there with you to hear what you had to say besides me. You know how sneaky he can be."
Terry turned off the water, a fresh white fuzzy towel wrapped around his waist, and he opened the door. He said to his wife after kissing her, "That I do. But, I think that Rock might just be better off if he was on his own, ya know? I mean...I can remember the first day I found him."
"So, you think you should give Mayor Theodore a call tomorrow?"
"Nah, actually...I was thinking you could make a quick trip there and back. See, I think one of the reasons why Rock is still a bit squeemish around you is because he feels that you do not fully understand him as well as I do and haven't really done anything that he has wanted. This moving out thing...its a big step for him. And to confess that to you first?! That was a shocker. But, it also means that Rock is beginning to trust in you a lot more. And I think he might just give you a big hug when you tell him that you've found the perfect place for him."
Dee was still a bit skeptical about it, but then again, Terry had always been close to Rock in a way that was still somewhat foreign to her. Her style of raising kids was much different than Terry's. So, she said, "So, you want me to speak with the mayor, find Rock a place and then tell him about it?"
Terry laughed, "Not quite...you've almost got my idea down. Nah, I was thinking that you and Rock go together to Flower bud Village tomorrow and let Rock meet the mayor and then he can decide from the plots available if he wants to live there. It will be his decision in the end and he will love you for this opportunity."
Dee stared at Terry listening. That was a good idea! Then Dee could repair Rock's bedroom and leave it reserved all clean for if Rock comes visiting. Not that she'd expect him to visit, but she figured somewhere along the road of life he would if only for a meal or something. She also knew that if that happened, it'd be a while before he does visit again.
Pulling down the bedsheets and the black comforter with the bright orange Fatal Fury logo patterned across it, Dee climbed into bed, which Terry followed and snuggled in beside her. Dee then said, "Well, if Rock is all done packing tomorrow and he comes to you about that business about your offer, then I can take him to Flower bud. And if he doesn't, but moves out anyways, we will just have to wish Rock the best and hope that for whatever dangers he will have to face based on reputation, that he pulls through. A year 4 student in Southtown finishing school doesn't usually get very far, but perhaps this is the reason why Rock wants to move away. Its so that he can further his studies. He did say all he wants is some peace and quiet."
Terry gave Dee a loving kiss then, a more passionate deep one. It was tempting to Dee to want to "bed" Terry further than that, but Terry was fast asleep soon after the kiss was finished. With a soft smile, Dee returned the kiss, then whispered, "Good night, Terry. I love you too."
She too fell asleep quickly and by the time morning came, she felt ready for a trip to Flower Bud Village with or without Rock tagging along. She waited though for Rock to join her at the breakfast table as the two did every morning.
Terry was a late sleeper as was everyone else. It was the one time of the day that Rock could withstand in this household. His luggage was all packed and ready by the time Rock did come down the stairs.

Rock looked around his room making sure he hadn't forgotten anything. Last night he had done some research on the Geese Tower. He would stay there til he found a more suitable place. He wasn't interested in the Flower Bud Village. Too many connection to Dee there. He finished repairing the girls' blankets since the annoying one had ripped them up. He thanked the little Mareep for supplying him with wool. He set the blankets on a shelf in his room away from Kogaku. He then headed downstairs.

"Good morning, Rock," Dee said, "Terry's asked me to take you to Flower Bud today to have a look at what's available there. Now, keep in mind, Terry did say to me that it will be your decision in the end so if you decide that Flower bud isn't for you then that's fine. But...it would make Terry happy if you had a look at the village before you give this an all out no thank you. Oh, and by the way, I have next to no connection with Flower Bud village. If anything, its Terry who is more in tune there than I am. Did you know that this mansion was originally built using materials from Flower Bud? Before I even knew Terry, he's worked there. From the age of 10 right up till he was 22. Amazing, right?"
She picked up her suitcase as she was going to stay at Perch inn while Rock looked around. "Oh, and just so you know, you are going to do most of the looking around there. I am going to say hi to Kurt Woodsman then I am going to be saying hi to Keitaro, then I am going to be working in the mines for a few days before heading home. I need to get some potana roots there anyways and like you, I kinda need a vacation. Look, I know that you and I don't get along very well, and that's cool. I understand your point of view. But, Rock, Terry and I are only wanting to ensure that wherever you end up you will be well taken care of. Not only are you a prince of the Renaissance Galaxy, which some people might take advantage of, but if you do stay in Southtown for too long, Billy Kane might start doing things that you don't want. You say that you don't want gay relationships, well...Billy Kane might treat you like his boy toy if you stay in the Geese building for too long. Terry was tossing in his sleep last night having nightmares about it."

Rock just ignored what Dee had to say and went on his way. He looked at the various plots around the village. Out of the eight possible vacant plots, He only found two that he kinda liked. One was by the river and the other was on a hill. Since he was done looking at plots, Rock walked around the village to see what type of creatures lived there.
