All the while that he was being so well taken care of the blue haired dragon seemed to remain quiet as well. There seemed to be nothing to say at the moment that wouldn't ruin the comfortable silence, not to mention he was content to just enjoy the bath. It was nice to be able to relax in such a manner, to have someone do things for him, and to know that the person was with was one that he could trust completely. He didn't even seem to hesitate when he was told to close his eyes, letting the good one sink closed.
The feeling of Qiu Shui's fingers in his hair had a calming effect on him, causing him to sigh in relief and ever last drop of tension, worry, or any other negative emotion vanished from him. He gave a sort of purring sound and then a smile as the tangles were removed from his hair, the blood from his skin, and soon enough he was cleaned up from head to toe allowing him to feel refreshed, "That's nice." He said, opening up his eye to look back at Qiu Shui, smiling at him, "Thanks. Getting cleaned up like this makes me feel far more alive."
Shifting to look over at his companion he gave him a smile, "Am I free to go into the tub now?" He asked, wanting to make sure that it was alright and that he was free to soak for a while. The hot bath was so close and seemed almost to be calling out to him.

"Of course, it was my pleasure." He whispered once more, finishing up rinsing off the last bit of soap from his back. Qiu Shui stood up, streching, his back popping just a bit.
The water, too, was calling to him, telling him to soak and enjoy the time they had left together. Yes, that was it..
"Sure.. Let's get in.. Just be careful, okay? " With that said, he took his towel off, hopping into the tub first, then holding his hands out to his dragon. "Take my hand, okay?"

Xiulong looked down at the hand that was offered to him before he gave a smile, reaching out take it, "I will be careful." He said as he scooted forward in a slow manner, sliding into the heated water before he gave a happy sigh. The moment he was engulfed in the water he felt the ache in his bruised chest starting to ease off. The drugs got rid of the pain but there was a heavy, aching feeling there that bothered him greatly.
"That is much better." He said, one hand resting against his chest, looking down at it, and made a slight face when he noticed that the bruising looked rather like a foot. Blech... the whole situation just made him twitchy. He wanted nothing more then to find the man and deal with him... well, once he was stronger, better trained, and perhaps had something better to fight with then a short bladed knife. He somehow doubted it would really be the best weapon to use again a man with a sword with that reach. The man's skill was beyond what he was used to, it made him wonder though how exactly they had gotten out of that fight... being unconscious meant that he missed out on the battle between that swordsman and his Master. It was probably something to see.
The young man sank down lower into the water but didn't let the water get any higher then his neck to keep his wound from being submerged. As he did so he continued to hold Qiu Shui's hand, giving it a squeeze.

There was a soft silence between them, so unlike earlier that day. No, this one was comfortable, sweet, enjoyable. The hand that held his was strong, a firm grip, just the way he had remembered..
His heart was thudding, and he scooted closer to other, taking that hand and holding it against his chest, flat against his heart.
"Xiulong.. My dear Dragon... I..." He bit his lowerlip. Did.. Did he really want to do this..? Was it the right time? ... Yeah.. It was, what if he ended up loosing the one that meant most to him..? It was now or never..
"Since the night we met in the garden so long ago.. You never escaped my mind for long... I woke up, and thought of you, thinking about how hard you were working, what type of training you were going through.. And.. And If you thought about me too.. There were times when I didn't know what was going to happen, when I felt so weak, when I wanted nothing more but to give up and die.. But you.. You were always returning to my mind, making me feel stronger, to never want to give up.. " A few tears began to well up in his indigo eyes.
"Then.. Today came.. And when I thought I was going to loose you.. I wanted to cry, wanted to leave. I didn't want to be the person who had to move on with life if you were gone. My life would have ended if your life had.. " He paused for a moment, reaching up with one hand to wipe at his eyes, feeling so stupid for crying, but not giving up. No, he had gone too far to turn back.
"For a long time, I was confused to what I was feeling. 'what was this worry?' 'why do I feel so confused..?' 'why does it hurt so badly when I leave him..?' I.. I finally figured out what it was.. I was always taught that in my world, in the world of bodies, red lights and heavy perfume, such emotions were forbidden. If I were to get attached, I'd lose the path that they chose for me.. But you know.. None of that matters anymore... I know what I want.. They can scream at me, beat me, and torture me all they want, but I'll never change it... Xiulong.. I love you... You're my world, my light in this entire world of darkness that I call my own.. Do.. Do you feel the same..?"

The tone that Qiu Shui was using seemed like one that was quite serious, it was one that was enough to draw his full attention and cause him to open his good eye so that he could look up at him, "Qiu Shui?" He murmured, before falling silent so that he could hear what it was that he was thinking, feeling, all of the important things that Qiu Shui was sharing with him during their alone time.
He could see the tears in Qiu Shui starred up at him for a moment before he shifted himself so that he was able to look at him straight on before his eye went a bit wide. He was... confessing he suddenly realized, something that caused the bluenette's cheeks to go a rather deep red, "I..." Love him, Qiu Shui loved him. He found himself stricken for a moment with the inability to speak, he could only stare in a wide eyed manner. It was... not at all what he was expecting that was for sure.
Love, love... what did he know about it? Did he know anything about it? Was what his Master shared with Tian Mi and Po Zei considered love? He blinked his good eye a couple times before he gave a bit of a smile, "I... will admit that I don't know a lot about Love... but what your saying, it does make sense to me. Feeling so... worried and wanting to keep pushing myself forever forward with a solitary goal in mind. I don't know where I would be, what I would have become if I hadn't met you... would I have had the gall to demand the position I am fighting for..." He murmured, then gave a bit of a smile.
"Now though it matters as though what happened before we met is no long important, I have grown so much since then." He said in a thoughtful manner before he gave a bit of a smile, "I... think... no, I know... that your the person I want beside me from now, until I take over the gang, until I pass on." Be it old age or the hazards of his life that got him, "No matter what, just the mere fact that I know your waiting for me makes me try my hardest at everything I am taught, everything I try." To fight for someone else, someone you loved, it made you stronger then just fighting for yourself he realized, "Qiu Shui... you make me strong." He murmured, lifting up to press a kiss to his forehead in a gentle manner.
He was still young yet, there was a lot he didn't know about life, battle, romance, but he would figure things out with time. And now that he'd been injured he knew how much it sucked and he would be far more careful next time, not wanting to see Qiu Shui so upset again.

There was something happening here, and what it was, Qiu Shui couldn't quite place it. He didn't feel like he was going to explode from excitement as he had thought he would have been.. No, instead he felt rather stupid that he had even asked. But not stupid, stupid, like degrading stupid, but.. Silly stupid, because the answer he had received was something he had felt he already new. He had been silly to ever even doubt it, Now, as they both floated in the tub together, their bodies pressed close in the most innocent of manners, his eyes had been open wider, and the brightest smile he had ever wore adorned him, more lovely than any jewel or clothing could ever look.
The kiss to his forehead seemed to just seal it completely, locking in his faith, so that he would never lose it in Xiulong, no, not ever again. Sure, there might be doubts, but nothing as bad as what he went through today, and he decided, it would be his goal in life to be able to serve Xiulong completely, and eliminate any doubt that would show from his heart.
"My master..." the words slipped from his lips like something sweeter than anything else he had ever tasted, though his cheeks turned a dusty rose color. Perhaps... It was too early to call the bluebell child that.. It was still unclear if he could even manage to earn the money needed to own not only his heart, but his body as well. Kinda late for thoughts like that, for the words had escaped. Either way, he was pleased at the way it sounded.
Lacing his fingers with the blue-haired child, he leaned up as well, placing a soft kiss on the other's peachy cheek.
"If I give you strength, then I will make sure I'm unwavering.. After all, a castle cannot be strong if the pillars holding them up still shake.."

His Master, words that he spoke often, calling Qiang Di by such a title but to hear the words used by Qiu Shui about Xiulong himself, it was a mind blowing thing that had him starring for a moment before he gave a smile. He would do his best... not he would do more then his best, he would push himself to do all that he could do to make sure that the one calling him Master was able to lead a good, happy life. He wanted to see him happy, to spoil him as Master Di spoiled Tian Mi.
Xiulong's cheeks colored as he got a kiss on the cheek before he leaned into his companion once more, letting his eye sink closed, relaxing as he did so. It felt good to sit right where he was. He decided that he was going to enjoy the sensation of being able to relax even though it was only because he'd been injured. After all be was pretty well certain that the moment he recovered he was going to be thrown back into training that was likely going to be even harder then what he'd been dealing with before now. Something he actually looked forward to. No backing down now.
"We will be quite the pair." He murmured, sounding quite content if a bit as though sleepiness was catching up with him once more.

"Quite the pair indeed!" He giggled, stroking Xiulong's hair in a gentle manner, trying to make him relax even more so than he had been.
Unfortunately... Falling asleep in the bath did not seem like to be the best idea in this state. Or any other state, so with much conflict, he pulled away from Xiulong, tugging up on his hand as he stood.
"Come on Xiulong... We need to get out of the tub, and get you dressed once more.. Then you can go back to sleep.." Soon though.. It would be time for him to have to return to the shop, to he world of pain he hat was waiting for him. There was no way the madame would have calmed down...

A soft, murmuring sound escaped from Xiulong as he felt the tugging on his hand, looking up at the dark haired boy before he gave a smile, "Qiu Shui." He murmured, his tone a rather affectionate one as he was led from the tub so that he could get himself dried off. He bent down to pick up one of his towels before giving a slight stagger as he stood back up. The heat of the room, the weakness of his body, the loss of so much blood, it was all trying to overwhelm him... it was willpower alone that kept him on his feet, that was something that one could tell from the look on his face and the manner in which he gritted his teeth.
"I'm alright." He said before the other boy could have a chance to worry that he might not be. He wrapped the towel around himself, draping it over his shoulders, then seemed to find himself needing a break about then. How embarrassing... that he couldn't even get himself fully dried off before he was feeling weak and tired once more... he gave a grumbling sound in his throat before looking over at Qiu Shui, seeming to be debating something in his mind before motioning to him, "A hand, please." Qiu Shui was his after all, right? He was the other boy's Master by his own admission so... surely it would be alright to ask for help from the one that wanted to serve him, right? He sure thought so.
This was one of those matters where he would learn by doing as well as learn by watching his Master since the man often ordered people around... he used a different tone with Tian Mi and Po Zei though, his more gentle one reserved for the female though. Such a tone was the one he felt he should emulate with Qiu Shui, it seemed to fit more with his feelings for him... though he couldn't say exactly what his Master felt for Po Zei, something similar to what he felt for Tian Mi though for sure but different at the same time.

The tone used on him was something he felt he could live on happily forever just knowing that it was used in such a way. After exiting the tub, Qiu Shui quickly dried himself out, uncomfortable by the air that suddenly hit his warm body, and was more grateful to Tian Mi than before, realizing she had left robes out for them to wear. Upon finishing putting on the robe, he turned to his dragon.
Xiulong was right to realize that Qiu Shui would come after him as soon as he saw him falter. He recognized that his master.. Xiulong.. Would have troubles, but he was proud to know that He would keep pushing forward.
What made him even happier was the fact that the dragon realized he couldn't always do it all on his own, and the simple fact that he wasn't afraid to ask for help. He smiled a bit, nodding, and went to him, taking the towel and drying him off ever so delicately, making sure that he was dry, but in as little pain as possible.
The long haired boy maneuvered the dragon around so that he could slip the robes that had been laid out for him onto the other, tying it in the right places, not too tight that he couldn't breath, but not so loose that it would be a hassle to move in. An efficient outfit for his current state!
"Is there anything else I can do? Or should we just go back to your room for you to rest?"

Xiulong was rather pleased and relieved when Qiu Shui helped him without question, not seeming to hassle him by mentioning his weakness. Instead he just helped him to dry off and dress, "Than you." He murmured, before he seemed to think about the question that was posed to him. What did he want to do next? A part of him said that he just wanted to rest, another part wanted to spend all of his time awake and with Qiu Shui before he was forced to go home... he didn't want him to go but he couldn't complain. After all he had no idea how he'd come here, it was a miracle of some sort so he wasn't gonna make a big deal about when he had to go.
"I suppose we should head back to the room I am being kept in while I heal." He murmured, he was sure that Po Zei was going to want to look him over. Better that he went to where the man was waiting instead of having the guy come looking for him. The last few moments he had walking back to the room, just him and Qiu Shui, were ones that he wanted to savor since he wasn't sure how long he was here for or how long it would be before they saw one another again, "I should see about braiding my hair back, to keep it out of the way." He mused out out, giving it a little tug as they headed out of the warm bathing chambers and out into the hallway which was, much to his dislike, quite a bit colder.
The blue haired dragon gave a slight shiver, "Its far to cold." He murmured as he stepped closer to Qiu Shui to share warmth with him.

"Of course." He was trained to serve, but it was always with reluctance.. But that reluctance was gone when it was Xiulong he tended to.. So many thoughts were running through his head, though he could barely organize any of them.. The one that came for front to his mind was, who was going to take care of his dragon once he left? He had felt that it had become his task, his duty, his purpose in life to care for the dragon, to make sure he was happy.. But how could he do that when they were so far apart..?
"Braiding your hair back? If you'd like, I'll do it for you... " His words were getting softer and softer, as worry began to take over him. As his thoughts traveled to how Xiulong would recover without him, his bad habit returned, and he once again began to wring his hands, trying to stop, but finding himself unable to.
As the cold his him, a shiver ran down his spine, creating a rather unpleasant atmosphere. Xiulong, however, came in closer, and the amethyst eyed boy gave a sweet smile.
"Even if it's cold, You're heat is all I need to keep warm.." ... He sounded so love sick, though perhaps.. He was.. He didn't' care, he simply stepped closer to Xiulong as well, giving him a slight nuzzle, as well as support just incase he needed it.

"Yeah, its either braiding it back or cutting it off and I don't know if I want to cut it." It might be easier to deal with if it were cut off short but he didn't know if it would look as good, he supposed that he would figure it out eventually what he wanted to do for it. At the moment though he was far to tired to be worrying about something as silly as a hair cut he thought to himself, then looked over at his companion as he felt him starting to shiver when they stepped into the hallway.
He gave him a concerned look, "You alright?" He asked, able to worry about someone else at the moment other then himself even though he was injured. Were it anyone else but Qiu Shui, save maybe his Master, it was doubtful that he would be as concerned about the other person's well being. Qiu Shui was special though in a way that few others were in his mind. He gave a smile when the dark haired boy said that he only need his heat, something that had him nodding, "Alright, we will hurry and curl up, its sure to be warmer in my room." Or at least the sick room he was being kept in... he would never be happier then when he was able to get back to his own room, not liking that all of his stuff was unprotected at the moment.
A short time later they were heading into the room were he was staying while Po Zei tended to his wound, making sure that he didn't come down with a fever or anything else as bad that could come along with a wound like the one he'd received. The bedding had been changed, it was fresh from the look of it, there was a fresh cup of tea waiting for him, likely dosed with his medicine, and he slowly settled down on the clean blanket, scooting over so there was room for Qiu Shui. His movements were slow, very deliberate, and it was easy to tell that while he was playing his best at being strong he was starting to slow down, starting to get tired, needing rest even if he didn't admit it. He didn't want to appear weak after all, even after taking such a wound he didn't want to seem weak even for a moment when other members of the gang might see. He gave a bit of a smile before reaching over to pick up his tea, making a bit of a face when it seemed that it was a touch to heavy... he sighed, trying again, then just gave it a dark and unhappy look.

"I.. Don't think dragons should cut their manes.." He, himself, rather liked the other's curly locks. But it wasn't his position to decide it's fate. No further words were exchanged as the two, arm in arm, returned to the room, to warmer air, and a clean, fresh bed. Such service he had yet to ever experience in his life, and he felt a little bad, for it was his job back in the shop.
"How kind of him..." He murmured, making sure that Xiulong got back into the bed comfortably, before slipping in beside, him, blushing, but very happy that the other wanted him in his bed. There was no judging as the other seemed to struggle with the cup, no, only the need to make his dragon comfortable, and to see him sleep contently. After the other gave up, he picked up the cup himself, and placed it near the other's lips. Something told him that Xiulong would not be happy at this, no one ever likes to be made to feel weak, especially those who have been working so hard to be strong.. So along with that motion, he whispered a few words.
"Drink up, master.. Soon enough, you'll be even more powerful than you were before." Just saying that made his cheeks flair up in the most prettiest of pinks. He felts utterly submissive, but not in the way he was taught how to be; it was more like a willing submissiveness. It just felt right..

That it was Qiu Shui that had helped him helped a little in salvaging the dragon's pride, he sipped from the tea cup, draining the contents before he leaned into his companion, "Mmm, thank you, Qiu Shui." He murmured, giving him a smile before allowing his good eye to sink closed. He slid his arms around Qiu Shui, curling up to him, "Yes, I will be... powerful again... back to myself and I will become a dragon again..." Soon he would recover and he would have to prove himself despite losing an eye.
It didn't take long before he was snoozing again, his medicine having helped to ease him into sleep once more. It wasn't to long after the bluenette dozed off that the Doctor returned from dropping off the soiled bedding, looking in on the pair and he gave them a smile, "I see you got him all cleaned up, good. I am sure that will help in keeping him from getting a fever. Its currently the thing that we fear the most happening." He said as he knelt down, reaching out to rest the back of his hand against Xiulong's forehead, testing it, "Hes not out of the woods yet, still quite weak, and a fever would be the worst possible thing... but he seems alright thus far." He could only hope that he remained healthy.
After he checked him over he was careful in easing him down onto his back so that he could inspect his wound, "Its only been a short time but its looking good thus far." No swelling, not infection, if things went well the wound would heal and the scar wouldn't be to thick. So many things to hope for he thought to himself before he looked up at Qiu Shui, "You really are doing a lot to help him, I thank you for that." Just having Qiu Shui nearby was bolstering the dragon's spirit, something he didn't think would have been as strong were he not to have come here.
