((Hope it is alright to throw one more in for the fun with mini's^^ ))
They had needed some fresh air instead of the stuffy halls. And between the back and forth banter of one demon cat, Lucifer and her battling, Callix, LW felt that they needed much more open space then her dorm room. So she was outside prowling the grounds with Lucifer and Callix flapping and running about as they chased one another. By her side, the much more laid back attention hog, Austin, her hazmutt, was prancing along. A high pitched screech that hurt her ears indicated that Lucifer had caught Callix and that the battling was not happy about this. He flew back to land in his favorite spot; atop LW's head.
Shaking her head, the she-wolf continued walking when the sounds of voices drew her gaze. There seemed to be some students gathered around. And...oh no. Lucifer was on the move. The little flirt was prancing up in a cute manner to the ghouls standing around. His first target: the lovely ghoul he felt needed to give him a biiiiig hug (Sin). Being a little manwhore had nothing to do with this at all. Nope.
"Lucifer!"
LW's hand promptly met with her face in a low groan. That little... "No! Austin! Not you too." The hazmutt had seen the group of people and happily pranced up to demand attention from anyone that would offer it. He wasn't as...'picky' as his two counterparts were, wagging his tail and looking around at everyone, whining cutely. Callix, being a good little battling, stayed flopped atop his lady masters head as she moved towards the group. At least he was behaving...for now.

"Well, I certainly hadn't heard that until today. The more you know!" Shehk seemed to beam a bit, ears perked up to their full height. Though, Shehk did make a very small point to not be too glued to the Incubus's side.... though it was probably out of habit from someone possibly having something like wandering hands.
Or maybe she liked a personal bubble. Whichever worked out.
"Undead pets aren't that bad...." Shehk noted, stroking Precious's feathers, before shrugging. "Might be nicer if you don't kill them yourself in the first place.... ....."
..... She totally hadn't killed something. That wasn't an implication of any variety. But she did realize she kept a dead pet. When some people had live variants of the exact same thing. Hmmm.
Either way, the Pricolici got moving, if only to spare Altair's 'baby' from strangling itself.
"I don't think I ever introduced myself... I'm Shehk. Shehk Strigoi. No fancy perks for knowing the whole thing though."

Altair grinned at Shekh's quips, raising an eyebrow and letting her speak, listening, and eyed the corvidus on her shoulder with renewed interest. The Chimaera headed off at a reasonable pace, and touched her wrist, letting go as they headed off, keeping pace with the minipet and the Pricolici girl, smiling as she gave him her name.
"A pleasure to meet you, Shekh Strigoi," he winked. "My name is Altair, it is not customary in my family to pass down a surname, we are simply incubi," he shrugged, following Aquila, making sure he kept to the path, sniffing around cautiously at gravestones and bones, naked trees, hills, the barren landscape oddly compelling.
"It is no wonder that the skinwalker has taken an interest in you," he grinned.

"Hmm. That's odd. I've known some demons who claim to not have them, though. Rumors of getting control over them if you have their full names.." she mused, but passed it off casually. She was a vampire-werewolf. She didn't need no stinkin' Demon-servant! Well, unless they were really good at catching squirrels. That may have been the only skill Nukpana had that would for-sure steal her heart always.
Well... sorta. She wouldn't swoon and award kisses for squirrel catching, if anything else.
"Incubi. That seems like an interesting....lifestyle." Shehk's mind went to a very special place at the thought. A very...very special place, to say the least. It looked something like the Playbot mansion, actually. It was really special.
However, her brain snapped out of the lala land quickly enough as she looked to the Incubus again and laughed a bit.
"Really now? I wonder about it all the damned time! I just don't follow his train of thought!" she laughed, practically throwing her head back with the gesture.
"It just makes no sense!"

Altair grinned at her, arching her eyebrow. She was perceptive, and he needed to be careful. He knew he had her, at least in his mind, nodding in resigned amusement as he confirms Nukpana's affections for her. He shrugged, looking out over the Amityville campus, smiling, thinking of the skinwalker's tattoos.
"You don't need a last name to control someone," he smirked a little darkly, winking, implying that she possessed this power over Nuk, and perhaps that he knew something about it as well. "He seeks your attention. He wants what all men want. He's like a wolf, an animal. You control him by denying him what he wants, he can't take it from you," he told her. "That's how he works. Just a silly boy that wants a pretty girl," the incubus tugged on Aquila's leash patiently, leading him away from a minipet perched on a low branch and yawning at them.

((Hope it's alright to join in X3))
Maritess had been wary of taking Trixie out for a walk since the last time she did. The purple tentacle still didn't listen to its owner and continued to try and grab things (mostly gnomes and the occasional student) and put whatever it had grabbed into one of its many mouths. But she figured if Trixie wanted to cause wanton destruction of property via OMNOMNOM, it might as well be something the winged vampire didn't own.
"Now remember, Trixie, before you put anything into your mouth you ask me first. Understand?" she glared at the purple tentacle that was already trying to drag her forward, annoyed that her minipet still also hasn't learned that the manananggal's arms were stronger than they looked.

While waiting on Sammy's certain sarcastic answer, Riley caught sight of movement that had her turning her head to look down at the minipet coming their way. It was, without question, one of the best looking minipets Riley had ever seen.
Perhaps she was a little biased. Who could tell?
Excuse me. Riley sent out to Maritess softly, her eyes focused on the ghoul so it was somewhat clear where the voice was coming from. What kind of a pet is that? It's precious.

"Correction; I only give him the smallest of things. I'm not flat-out rejecting him. He is charming in his own twisted way." Shehk said, before shrugging again. "But I lack the vision to see what it is he sees in me. It's like you say; He wants a pretty girl. I'd like to think I'm..ehhh....." she paused and gestured between a few different lengths with her arms, ultimately flinging her arms all the way out (though carefully, as to not immediately thwack an arm into the Incubus's chest) as far as they would go, "this much more, give or take a lot, than a pretty face."
Fortunately, the pricolici did put her arms away after her point had been made.
"See, I'm just as much a beast as he is. In fact, that's an unfair comparison to make, given...." she trailed off, leaving the fact she was a zombified-canid to define itself. "However, he has allowed me this status of 'Alpha'...or so I assume. So it sort of works out. Because I am Alpha, he can't have it...unless I toss him scraps."
There was this slightly sadistic grin that came across her features, like she enjoyed that part of the game.. just a bit too much.
"I think somewhere, my analogy stopped being effective..but the mental image is sort of fantastic." she finally decided, shrugging her shoulders lightly, though enough to bounce Precious, who nipped at one of the Pricolici's ears in protest, prompting the girl to thwack it with two fingers in the beak testingly.
"Honestly, you're probably more correct than I could ever be. I don't understand anything that goes in the mind of a boy. I mean, I'd like to pretend I do, but really it's like trying to navigate my way through a foreign country I know nothing about with directions written in that chinese-language-crap and a mute guide who wouldn't win a game of charades."
She thought that was a colorful analogy, if nothing else.

Maritess looked up away from the purple tentacle, trying to find the source of the voice, managing to realize where it came from when she spied Riley looking at her. She flew forward slightly towards the group, because it wasn't proper to be yelling her answer after all. It seemed Trixie considered this movement as being allowed to lunge forward, tentacles flailing all around happily trying to acquaint itself with everyone and everything. Except replace itself with Trixie's mouth. A sharp tug on the leash and the purple tentacle was halted. Slightly.
"I-it's a Mytrix," Maritess explained, "And it's a little too aggressive a pet than what I'm more used to," she added as a sort of apology when the purple tentacle made to grab Riley. And Sammy. And a hazmutt. And basically anything it could reach. "Trixie! No! Bad tentacle! Bad!" She gasped in embarrassment, looking very, very apologetic to everyone. "S-sorry!"

((I'd like to jump in too, if thats alright :3)) Since Astra had been away for so long on the school field trip, she felt it was high time she gave her treasured minipets some love and attention. Or at least try to. The problem was, she had alot of minipets to take care of, and she continuously brought more of them (she couldn't help herself, it was a addiction!). In the weeks before the field trip, she had managed to purchase a shenglong, but since then had neglected to train it. She believed now would be a good time to do so, by taking it for a walk in the school grounds. But Ryu, the name she had given the shenglong, seemed to be on of the ""I will ignore you because I am better then you" pets, and so far had yet to follow through on any of her requests. "Come on, Ryu..." The fae tugged on the leash she had attached to the minipet. "Don't you want to go for a walk?" When the pet refused to budge and continue to lay on the ground, she sighed and tried to tug harder in hopes that it would move. But it didn't. With her feelers twitching in agitation, she sighed, and looked around for something that may coax her pet to get off it's lazy butt. "Ah! look over there!" she pointed to the ground of students and their minipets a little ways off. "How about we go over and say hello? you could go and play with the other minis!". Ryu then looked up to gaze at the group, watched for a minute, then with a huff it stuck it's nose up in the air as if to say 'me? mingle with them? like hell!" and rolled over to take a nap. "Aww..thats not fair..."

Altair laughed at the mental image she created, amused to think of Nuk as a dog, missing her thwack the bird and glancing over at her, arching an eyebrow as she spoke about the mind of a boy. He laughed, tilting his head as she likened the male psyche to a foreign country, and blinked, amused.
"Wow, that was a very... profound insight, Shekh," he said, grinning, a little teasing, looking down at Aquila, letting the Chimaera briefly paw around.
"You see, a boy like Nuk has no complex concepts of what a person is. He just sees a lovely face that he's attracted to. That's what separates the boys from the men, that gap you showed me," he smirked. "He's simple to understand. But a man, he understands the female psyche," the Incubus didn't look directly at her, tugging on Aquila's lead to urge him onward, his devil tail swinging low behind him.
"It's the same for females. Girls, I should say," Altair reached up to flick an errant piece of hair over his shoulder, still easygoing as he teases her.

Well, if nothing else it seemed the pair was enjoying their conversation. Lots of laughter to be had by the duo.
"I lack a lot of the insight that would make that analogy rather profound. I think that I've just decided that instead of understanding it, I should just enjoy the adventure of it... at least to some extent. The adventure is only worth it if it's fun." There was a bit of wild arm-gesturing to go with this thought before Shehk just left it to be.
However, the subtle quip about her lack of understanding making her a 'girl' rather than a 'woman' did earn a slight rouse from the Pricolici, though mostly in the form of the most displeased looking of frowns. She did manage to hold her tongue on protesting it though.
Only those who were guilty of it would get angry when called out on it... unless they were a sociopath who was very good at playing 'dead' with it. Alas, Altair had indeed hit that nail on the head. Square on it.
"Perhaps at one point in time I did understand such things. The knowledge is lost to me now, though. No good teachers." she replied, not really 'winking' on the tail of the comment, but the intent was really implied.

Believe me. Riley sent out in amusement. I am all too used to aggressive pets. Not to mention how comfortable she was around tentacles. She reached out, when the purple tentacle came for her, and instantly flicked her hand to one side, so that her fingers wrapped just around behind the mouth. She massaged lightly, in a familiar attempt to subdue it. I've never seen a pet like this before. It reminds me of home. Her chest heaved in a silent, airless sigh of wistfulness.
Cam realized that no one was coming to check if it had been killed in the fall, and stopped twitching dramatically on the floor. What was it's pet mindflayer doing? What was she doing!? Was she being affectionate with some other tentacley pet that WASN'T IT? HOW DARE SHE. Cthulhu stormed forward, it's mouth tentacles raised fiercely as it hissed at the Mytrix. THERE WOULD BE BLOOD IN THE WATER TONIGHT.

Altair mused upon her words, amused, rubbing his chin, dropping his hand and sliding it into his pocket, walking along at a leisurely pace, letting Aquila have his head. He reached out to slide his hand into the small of her back, touching her lightly, not remarking upon her displeasure, mildly impressed with her self control as she let his tease drop, maintaining her dignity. The demon grinned.
"I meant no insult, my lady," he winked, stroking her back, turning a little more towards her. "Perhaps I could introduce you to a good teacher, if you need a little baccalaureate work..." the incubus's eyes glinted with his amusement. "I happen to know someone with experience in these matters."

Shehk's eyebrows went up at the particularly unusual word he had used, clearly not familiar with whatever a 'baccalaureate' was referring to, but none the less having too much pride to even ask about it... though she did have this moment where her fur prickled up when he touched her back, standing up just a bit straighter and that frown coming back, brows furrowing together lightly.
She didn't look pissed, just highly uncomfortable. In fact, she almost immediately leaned away from the 'offending' hand, ears drooping and her tail curling to press against the inside of one leg. She almost seemed like a trapped animal. Then again, this whole 'touchy touchy, flirty flirty' thing was unusual to her.
The Pricolici would have handled it better if Altair just demanded kisses. That was at least easy enough to go 'REEJEEECCTTEEDDD' at.
"I..uh..."
Her articulating abilities were lost on the thick layer of 'awkward' she had going on at not really knowing how to respond to the touchy-touchy.
So she just let it stew a little while she let the discomfort build up visibly on her face. It was probably adorable to look at.
