"I know. I can hear other channels. This just sounds like I'm riding in a car," Tails said. "And if I squint, it's kinda like a blizzard. Maybe I can see it a little because it's only black and white. I think it's just black and white. Is it?"

"Nn. Kinda. I'd play outside, but it's really cold," Tails said. "And I think Tristen still feels too awkward for me to sleep too close to him. Come to think of it, I'm always really tired in winter..."

"I already ate," Tails said. "I think now that I can eat and be warm whenever I want, winter isn't scary anymore. Is that a bad thing?"

Dakota and Aeon his Duskull were wandering around outside of Mt. Steel holding a piece of paper with instructions on it. He tightened his grip on his book bad and looked up. Aeon in his playful nature stole the instructions while Dakota was trying to look brave. This freaked Dakota out making him fall forward in panic trying to grab the map. "Aeon!" He yelled coming up and running after the Duskull.
Aeon ran near a waterfall and seemed to disappear. Dakota frantically ran towards it and hit his head on a door falling backwords. Aeon dropped the instructions in his hand and they both looked at the door then to the instructions. "You found it Aeon!" Dakota said grabbing Aeon and laughing.
Dakota stood up and began to think... This is the beginning of something new for me... He opened the door looking determined and found himself in a room. He and Aeon looked around confused hoping someone would greet him.

Seth walked by as Dakota was saying that his Duskull had found it. 'Really, there's actually someone newer than me? Didn't expect that, this early.' His Charmander, named Afterburner, let a small puff of flame come from his mouth. 'Oh, quiet down, you.' He glared for a moment at his Pokemon, then turned up and smiled. 'Hey there, fellow Snagger. You must be new here, too, huh? I'm Seth.' He extended his hand, hoping for a handshake. Zap, his Magnemite, and a Gastly, aptly named Krypton, trailed behind, coming from Seth's left and right, near his head.

Dakota looked at Seth confused for a moment with Aeon floating over his shoulder mimicing him. "Oh, hey." Dakota said extending his hand to Seth. "I'm Dakota, nice to meet you." he said shaking his one hand with both hands and Aeon taking his Afterburner's hand with the same enthusiasm as Dakota.

"So now we have an artificially animated stone golem running around free thanks to those technology freaks, never a dull moment around here." Sub grunted as he walked down the stairs from his room and entered the main area of the headquarters. "And on top of that a certain Sableye has taken my magazines again." He said raising his voice to a slight shout, as if he intended for said Sableye to hear him, where ever he may be.

God this kid has it bad. Worse than I ever imagined him being. Worse than I am right now. "You miss them all already, don't you?" I asked him, rather sympathetically.
