"Well why not? You're doing the same," Lamia answered, sitting once more. "I would even go so far as to venture that you're hiding more from me than I am from you, and that makes me curious." She grinned, a sharp-toothed little grin that held perhaps a touch of humor, the kind got at the expense of others.
"And really, I'm only asking you for your own views on myself. For all you know I could only be asking as a play for vanity. It is quite natural for one to be curious about why someone else is curious about one, even under normal circumstances. Especially when that someone else wants to arrange a.....date, for another day. Wouldn't you agree that you would also be curious? After all, don't parents warn their children to beware the killers and liars of the world?"
There was definetly some form of mirth in Lamia's black eyes, though it didn't warm them the way it might have another fox, and her grin was still too cruel to be entirely pleasant. Still, this was the most social she had been in quite some time.

He grinned at her in response, chuckling. "I doubt your parents were like that." He rolled out, eyes narrowing. "Though maybe I should not make such assumptions, Lamia." He seemed to enjoy saying her name, to an extent. Finally, he stretched, raising his head and exposing pearly white fangs when he yawned. Fine, she wanted a response, he would give her one. He approached her, brushing against her, circling her, his fur touching hers before he decided to wander off.
"You do not seem the one to succumb to vanity. However, if you wish to play this trivial game perhaps I will play along." He flicked his tail at her, sending her a bemused smirk. "I find you interesting, per say. Amusing. As stated before. You do not make me want to rip your throat open. I am curious of you, so, I feel a desire to quench my curiosity."

A nonchallant shrug covered Lamia's response to just about everything Sin said. The parent thing might be true, or might not. Lamia didn't actually know her parents, and no one in the tribe claimed her specifically. There were enough similarities that she probably was related to some of them somehow, but for all she knew she was stolen. Not that it mattered.
The comment of ripping out throats didn't even faze her as it might others; hile it was that other personality of hers that was concerned with the ripping out of throats, she was familiar enough with the notion and actually took it as the compliment Sin meant it to be.
"Hmmmm. I suppose in the spirit of fairness I should play my end of the game. You...intrigue me, like a puzzle that I cannot quite figure out." Lamia's eyes followed Sin as he moved about. "You possess qualities I would think could no coexist together in a single fox, and it makes me quite curious."

He was pleased when she didn't react much to the ripping of throats. He liked her personality. Like his, and yet not. Appealing to a point. He listened to her words, questioning the qualities she spoke of and yet not asking. There was hardly any special qualities. He was a failure. He had loss his tribe. His true family. He had failed at being an elder. His price for destroying the lives of so many. Atonement was not easy, and it had destroyed his happy life to make up for the lives he took in exchange. Now, he was at the point where he wondered if atonement was truly the path he wanted, or if he wanted to revert back to the old days.
He did not understand what made her curious, but he accepted her answer. His eyes locked onto her own equally black eyes, his blood-stained tail flicking under him. Were they done playing the question game now?
"Then what is your answer, Lamia? Would you accept the idea of meeting once again, or leave like the wind?"
(( I was thinking they could meet again in the second rp, and Sin brings her to old Cruor lands. ))

A low chuckle, a deep tone that could have almost come from a male, rumbled in her chest and down her paws. If someone had their ear to the ground, or burrowed in the ear underneath her, they might have felt some vibrations from the sound.
"Do not think the winds come at your beck and call. They go where they will. However," Lamia added, tilting her head just a bit, "they do develop patterns, and even if you cannot command them to return you can watch and wait for that pattern to repeat itself."
If a very roundabout way, Lamia had answered Sin's question. No one told her she had to say it straightforward, after all.

He looked at her, amused. Fine. She could do as she wished. He would merely give her an idea to where they could meet again. Maybe the wind would grace him again. Maybe not. "Then lets see if the wind will return here one day, when the moon is full." He said before standing, brushing against Lamia, this time his skin touching hers, tail brushing against hers. He didn't stop moving, padding forward, head tilting backwards.
"It was an amusing encounter, Lamia." He said, tail flicking. Lamia the demon. Lamia the wind. Lamia the cunning. Her name stuck, and he was probably going to keep a loose hold on to it for the time being. Right now, he had kits of siblings to visit, and nephews and nieces to watch over and train. Their meeting was over, at least, to him.

((Gotta get to page 6 first, missy!))
"Full moon, huh?" Lamia glanced upward at the sky, a tiny smile on her face. Well then. She might be a demon, but Sin was a werewolf. It would certainly explain his constantly shifting moods and how touchy-feely he was; most foxes seemed to recoil from physical contact unless they were mates, immediate family, or babies who didn't know any better.
A werewolf and a demon, huh? Hmmmm. Which was worse, she wondered.

He felt like this was a dark tale of Cinderella. He was leaving Lamia for the night, and he would return one day to see if she was back. To see if she fit the role he was offering to her if she did return. He turned, wondering if he should allow her near Cruor. No, not today. Maybe next time. His tail flicked side to side lazily, ears flicking.
"Perhaps the wind should come with a empty stomach, as well." Ah, the idea of hunting would please him, and seeing her hunt in the future would probably be a sight to see.

A short, delicate snort came from Lamia. "Hmmm? Two beasts considered to be blood-thirsty by all myths and accounts, fighting for food." Her laugh was as rough as her snort was delicate, though it was just as short. "Sounds amusing. A horror/suspense story for the carer to relate to kits on dark and stormy nights."
((lol It's okay. Though thanks to Lamia I now have another title for an RP with the two of them that sticks to the dancing theme OTL))

He laughed in response, surprised by her humor. "Well, I see I have my answer clearly than." He chuckled once more, eyeing her halo absently. He still wondered if he could grab it, however did not dare do so. He would not rip his mouth open attempting to. Anyway, he had learned his lesson with Nex about grabbing accessories belonging to females.

Lamia shrugged. "I suppose you do. Mind you be prompt though, unless you want me wandering places I shouldn't be." Her grin was pure impish mischief, though not of a pleasant sort. "I don't follow rules set by others so well, you'd never had met me if I did."

Ah~ She had agreed and yet snapped back a amusing comment still. He rolled his eyes, glaring at the vixen comically. "I see you still have a tongue." He mused, tail flicking once more before he nodded. "I am always on point, so, Cinderella does not need to worry about being ditched at the ball." He said, smirking at her slightly.

Lamia snorted. "If you think I'm a princess then you need your eyes checked. Or did you not see that wolf who no longer has a face?"

He laughed lightly. "Cinderella wasn't a princess, dear Lamia. Besides, not all princess are pure of heart." He snipped back, tilting his head at her. "Poor faceless wolfie." Ah, he was merely jesting, he really didn't care about that mangy wolf. He was more amused with the light game of teasing Lamia before vanishing.

Lamia growled. "Keep teasing and you'll be next," she warned, though the potential for any real threat being behind that statement was quite low. It might have been amusing for Sin if he knew Lamia thought of him as something like a werewolf, as much as she was a demon. Or it might not have mattered at all.
She would never find out though, chosing that moment to vanish into the rapidly disappating fog.
