Itov tilted his head and smiled. He took a few steps toward Samhain so that he was closer to her. “I haven’t done anything special. Only what I have wanted to do.” Very gently he licked the orange vixen’s cheek. The storm was ragging outside with thunder and lightning. “Well is there anything we can or should do to deal with the storm or should we just sit it out and let it pass?” Itov looked around to see if he could help Samhain batten down the house or other such preparations. I hope she says no and would prefer to snuggle and let the storm pass.

Samhain laughed and shook her head. "You've done plenty of special things, but its okay if you dont think its special because its something you wanted to do. Its just special to me" Samhain said slightly cryptically. "ah no this room is pretty sealed up from the storm and we can just shut the door to my little alcove if anything breaks. Although we should mmm probably close the window?" she said smiling weakly as rain poured on both of them.

Itov nodded and went over and examined the window. It was a basic window with shutters on the outside. The frame was worn and chipped like it had been painted over several times but none of them recently. Itov reached up and brought the bottom window pane to its closed resting spot. It popped up about half an inch when he did this. So he reached up again and shut it and felt around for the lock on its top. Once that was locked shut he turned back to Samhain and shook off as much rain as he could. He playfully flicked some at her with his hurt limb.

Before Samhain could offer to close the shutters herself she watched as Itov fumbled with them a bit before finally closing them shut. She would have to see if she could get her human friend to fix that next time the girl came around. Samhain glared at Itov as she was splashed with water and puffed up looking as bad as a wet kitten. Deciding to be a ham she made motions like the water was hurting her and collapsed down on the floor playing dead giving the occasional twitch.

Watching Samhain glare and then fake her death. He choked back a laugh and tried to seriously walk toward Samhain. “What would I do without you Samhain? I don’t want to be here without you. Although it would mean that I get to eat all you’re stored up chocolate.” Itov sat in mock debate before heading to Samhain’s alcove and grabbing a pick of candy. He trotted in front of Samhain and pretended to eat her chocolate. “mmm… so tasty. If only you were alive to stop me or share with me. I guess I’ll just have to eat it all by myself.”

She watched him with eagle like eyes and slowly hunched up... still acting dead, glaring at him. Candy was taboo to steal. The ghosts in the room freaked out a bit about her mock temper and started banging things and messing with the door to the rest of the house. Getting an idea Samhain looked up and glared at him before slowly in a zombie like fashion pushed her self across the floor in a creepy like way and lightly grabbed on to his good ankle with her jaws lightly nawing on it in jest. she let go and looked up at him. "my candy... although I guess we can share" she joked coming back alive.

Itov listened to the banging and clanking in the house confused. When Samhain gnawed on his leg he chuckled. “Well as long you’re ok with it. I’m glad.” He flipped the ‘stolen’ candy up in a flourish in the way he had been taught to by his father when his father had taught him a few play tricks. Of course it was more painful with his hurt paw than he wanted to admit but he did his best not to show it. He held out the candy to Samhain. “This piece is yours, I believe, miss chocolate devouring zombie.” He winked and gave a lopsided very handsome grin.

"ah sorry I forgot they tend to get all jumpy and stuff when I act all weird" Samhain apologized glaring slightly at said ghosts before munching on her piece of candy.... and you no hurting your self by doing moves that injure that leg of yours. Even if all it did was slightly aggravate it I can still tell" This was accompanied by a light pretend knaw on his leg again before Samhain turned back to the candy."and yes zombie agrees with you and thanks you for the fi... candy"

“They as in the ghosts? Well I guess we should let them know that I mean you know harm.” Itov stuck his tongue out. “ Well remind me never to try and fool you. Perhaps you could at least tell me that I looked good doing moves so I feel so foolish.” He was impressed that she could tell he was he had hurt himself. “You are most welcome miss zombie. I figured it was the chocolate or my flesh and while I might not have a pretty coat like yours I am rather attached to it.”

"Yep they being the ghosts. Ah well its not like they can interact too much with you. it takes up a lot of energy or something." Samhain answered. "and yep I spend my time tricking people so I know how to tell when others are trying or something like that" she tilted her head to the side thinking about it. "Dont worry though it wasnt in vain" she laughed "and no dissing of the coat it is special in its own way. Besides its not up to the owner of the fox to think its coat is pretty but others"

“Well at least I know my actions weren’t in vain” Sighing dramatically Itov bumped into Samhain. “I happen to think my coat is good for hiding but it isn’t very flashy like most females I know seem to like. So I think I’m justified in saying my coat isn’t as pretty as your own.” Itov ran a paw gently over Samhain’s cheek and down her neck. In his mind she was the loveliest creature alive. “Well I wonder how I can introduce you to everyone and how to keep Yavie from assaulting you with questions and other random little pestering things. ”

Samhain tilted her head to the side and looked him over. "Yeah its not flashy but for you it works. None flashy is nice and the coloring works as well in a sort of gothy type way. See we match as a theme. I'm all halloweeny and your all Gothicy colored" she smiled a bit at this and remembered then he said something about a large family and tried not to blush and shiver when he touched her. "well I will answer then to the best of my ability and set the ghosts on her to prank of course if it gets to be too much. oh I should introduce you to Aisling... if I ever see her again" Samhain grew a bit sad here

“Matched coats and chocolate cravings. It seems that we are pair made in heaven. The demon and the ghost speaking trickster what a pairing. We'll be able to terrify any fox that crosses us.” He nuzzled just behind Samhain’s ears. She smelled sweet and good. “Ah the only problem with Yavie is that she speaks about three times normal foxes can hear and never seems to run out of questions. I think she would have a blast if you sicked the ghosts on her.. it would give her more opportunity to question strange new things. I’d like to meet miss Aisling. My family is large enough that we could probably send word out and find her. ”

"Well thats only if we decide to come out and talk. Besides if they just run away like that then why bothering getting to know them because obviously..." This derailed off to a small little rant for a while before she stopped and got back on topic. " ah well I am used to fast talking. Aisling tends to do that as well when she gets nervous. However I dont know about finding her she's a bit shy since most foxes tended to see her as a wallflower and just ignored her so she started believing everyone thought of her as a wallflower.

Suppressing a chuckle Itov tried not to laugh at Samhain’s rant. She was just amazing. Defensive and gentle all at the same time. “Well many foxes would be too shy to face a strange fox. Yavie talks fast all the time and is worse when she is happy. Don’t worry though. My family tree is quite large. Even now I’m not too sure how many foxes my family tree consists off.. All I know is that it’s a lot. I’m sure if I sent the word out that we could find or perhaps catch word of Aisling somewhere as long as she has spoken with any fox recently. ”
