The brown haired teenager was disoriented and staggered backwards at the sudden onset of snow and wind, her floppy hat ripping off of her head and tumbling into the snow out of sight and reach. When she was finally able to see there was a woman, one scantly clad, and looking somewhat like the ice dancer she'd met earlier only larger.

Desma wasn't entirely of the opinion that she had a princess, they lived in the United States after all, there was a president..not a king and queen. She did not know of Serenity or the Moon Kingdom just yet, or that the other Senshi had come here in hopes of seeing their Princess.

After her encounter with the cat and receiving a strange item - a henshin pen, is what they called it Desma had become one of those girls..the ones that the news called terrorists, one of the senshi. And of course now she understood that the man she'd run into before had been one and had magic just like she now did.

Desma felt lost and confused, was that a bad guy? The exclamation from a smaller pink senshi seemed to mean that she wasn't on that 'side'. Fumbling in the pocket of her bulky coat she found the strange pen and dodged into an alleyway.

Sailor Gomeisa emerged looking dazed and confused, even if she wasn't sure what was going on there was a sureness, a rightness to being powered up. It made her feel a little less vulnerable to the unknown.

Alkaid put a hand to her head as the pair was deposited back on the roof they had left from. She was dirt tired and, as Nem was so kind to point out, she looked like s**t. Not only that, but she felt like it too.

"Thanks for the reassurance," she mumbled, rubbing her hand across her eyelids even as she took a few hesitant steps towards the edge of the building. When had so much time passed? She supposed that being on a sunless planet didn't help much with time keeping. Still, it had been interesting. Saddening, but interesting.

"What?" she had no idea what that vacation bit was about, but it made Alkaid open her eyes. She was met with a concerned face from Nemesis (which was unusual - when was Nem concerned over anything but herself?) that made her instantly look past the Senshi of Decay and out to the world displayed before them. Alkaid instantly got the same awful, dreadful feelings that Nem had when she saw the isolated blizzard. She wondered if it had something to do with those snow fairies or whatever they were, she'd seen her fair share of them in the last few days and she knew they weren't normal. It was unfortunate that she had left all her snowglobes at the home she shared with Amara, or she might have had a little more insight to the problem.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm coming," it was said with a sigh as she looked registered that sulky face of Nem's. How had she become her sidekick in less than twenty four hours? She climbed down the building after her, dropping the last small distance to her feet and following her lead all the way to the mini blizzard they had seen overhead. When they arrived on scene, Alkaid was no more pleased than Nemesis was and, despite being a lot more exhausted, she was determined that this emposter wasn't going to be sticking around.

She stepped up to Nem's side, her exhausted face taking on a stonier, no-nonsense look. "In the name of Alkaid, let me to guide you to your defeat!" She was behind Nemesis a hundred percent, even if she had sworn off all senshi duties until this point. She couldn't just let some crazy ice queen try to take over the world.

First it had made her obsessed with silly snowglobes, then it had dragged her out into the freezing cold, and now this? Tara threw up her hands in frustration. "Once," she shouted, "just once, can the invading aliens not be freaking evil? It's Christmas, for crying out loud."

For all her bravado, though, inside she was panicking. She had no pen. She had no weapons. All she had were the snowglobes and what she was carrying them in: a fairly utilitarian metal bucket, filled with packing peanuts. Oh, and did she mention it was cold. Because it was really, really, cold.

Much as Tara wanted to run away and leave the battle to the senshi who were slowly showing up on the scene, the part of her was a soldier wouldn't let her. Even ill-prepared as she was, she had to do something, make some sort of effort. If she ran, she wouldn't deserve the second (and third) chance she'd been given.

And if all of you are overwhelmed? the cynical part of her brain asked.

Well. She'd worry about that if it happened. But Tara's faith in the other senshi was strong- it had to be, for her to take a leave of absence- and she knew that if they were mowed down, running wouldn't save her for long. Dumping the snowglobes and styrofoam out of the bucket unceremoniously, Tara hefted her makeshift weapon. She was ready. Or at least, doing a very good impression of it.

The gale caught Sophie right as she was bringing her six (six!) snowglobes to the fountain. Before she could unload any of them, she was blown several feet back, her face instantly numb from the sheer cold of the wind. Even though she closed her eyes as soon as it hit, it took several seconds for her vision to clear. When it did, she blinked several times, still not sure her eyes were working properly.

With little else to do, she turned to the nearest person and pointed at the so-called princess. "Is this still a publicity stunt?" she asked loudly. "Or just some sort of weird aurora variation?" Something leaked on her cheek, only just noticed as she was starting to defrost slightly. Sophie reached up and dabbed at her face, staring at the red staining her gloves. "This is awfully dangerous for a stunt," she murmured, not quite able to put the pieces together.

It was only as the other people started to show up on the scene, people dressed in strange and flashy outfits, that Sophie started to put the pieces together. Some of these people looked like they were wearing the same sort of clothes as the girl who'd caught her in the net. Did that mean that this whole thing was a plot by the terrorists? But how? And why?

That, decided Tallulah, was most certainly not the Princess she'd been expecting, and the girl drew back from the fountain in horror and revulsion, already digging around in her purse for her Henshin pen. In all this chaos, she had to push her way out of the crowd and find a bench to duck behind to henshin up. It was still far too open for Sailor Europa's liking, but this was an emergency.

They'd been tricked.

"Someone is getting coal for Christmas," she said bitterly, hurrying to stand beside Aurora, who she'd finally spotted through the crowd. "It's a trap."

Well, duh.

"What an adorable little city," the self-proclaimed princess begain, her icy voice echoing in the wind that still howled above them. "A fine foundation to build a palace upon. And you, my charming subjects..." She twirled one of her iciclesque fingers at her audience, and a gust of wind whirled around them, seemingly commanded by that little gesture. "You will surely make for some fine statues. As a reward for your loyalty over these past few weeks, you'll be given a special place in my gallery!" With a low laugh, she rose up from her throne and stood at her full height, her regalia majestically billowing behind her in the wind she was creating.

"To my side, my beautiful, perfect dancers!" she called, towards the lone one who had appeared -- surely, surely, more would follow. "As for the rest of you..."

Her hand pointed again, this time harshly towards the ground in front of them. Instantly a barrage of hail materialized and began to pelt the crowd. "Kneel! Kneel before your new ruler!"

It had been a good move to be distrustful-- Because the sight that greeted the crowd wasn't the soft voice that everyone had been expecting. This was what had been calling to everyone? It wasn't the woman in the snow globe-- No, that had likely been a decoy.

Several shades of ice scraped Lumiere, one hand raised to shield uselessly against the barrage of frost and wind.

"Kneel? Kneel before my ruler? Nonsense." Lumiere muttered to herself-- Why did they have so many factions trying to take over the world? This was getting quite out of hand. Under the guise of everyone's confusion and shock, somewhere, Lumiere had transformed into Aeria. Aeria wasn't about to bow down to a woman who had stalked Destiny City's residents of their waking and sleeping moments.

Invoke Crystal!

It was meant to damage the other but to partially shield Lumiere from the blizzard of hail coming forth. One nicked her side, causing the young blue scout to wince. If she was on the same power level as a Queen, they had best be wary. She couldn't afford to look at this carelessly.

Bellatrix was certainly glad she had gotten out of the crowd. However, she knew she'd have to abandon her rooftop perch and jump in to the fray, so the sentiment was bound to be short-lived. Still, she had her attack. She wished she had brought her spear.... That damned thing always got left at home in the most inopportune of times!

"Amazon Chakram!" Bellatrix shouted and released a swirl of golden energy.

Like hell was she going to turn this world, and the people in it, to ice! Bell doubted that her attack, a simple sailor level attack rather than her super level, would do much, much less reach from the distance from which she threw it. With her first attack launched, Bellatrix jumped from the building to join the fray.

Hugbell, clad in yellow and blue, watched the snow princess as she told them to kneel. "You're not nice!" She called back, shivering, right her fuku wasn't made for snow...

She grabbed a snowball and aimed it towards the princess hoping it'd hit. Her bear wasn't going to be of any use tonight.

Alkaid took a leap backwards as hail began to rain down on the crowd, grimacing as a large chunk nailed her in the shoulder. She wasn't in the mood for temperamental megalomaniacs today.

"Guiding Light, Magnified!" She called out, holding her hands out to either side. Two glowing orbs of light appeared (surprisingly, considering how much Nemesis had drained her). She drew her hands back and let them fly, watching as the homing balls of light soared right towards their target. At least she didn't have to bother aiming! And since she didn't think she had any need to track the ice princess, she didn't have to bother with concentrating. She just hoped that they did enough damage to matter.

"I think we're going to be here a long time, Nem," she murmured, a small grimace on her face. Just when she thought she could go home and get some shut eye! What lie could she come up with for being gone all night AND most of the day? Rohan was going to freak out.

"You aren't my ruler, you icy bimbo!" Saiph snarled, her voice managing to echo over the sound of falling hailstones. Without waiting for Alshain, and briefly noticing Alkaid (and at that, her heart gave a pang to see her best friend fighting with Nemesis of all people), the Primordial senshi was darting through the ice, hands already beginning to glow with power as she summoned up her tried and true. What a Tail Thrash could do amongst this crowd though...

Saiph shuddered at the thought. She had to protect those who couldn't protect themselves. But at the same time, it wasn't like this self-proclaimed royalty cared much for preserving any life.

"How dare you threaten to turn innocent people into statues, you tramp! I won't let you hurt anyone! In the name of Saiph, prepare to be hunted!"

Closing her eyes, she leapt into the air, the energy around her hands writhing and wriggling, eager to be free. Well, she thought wryly, at least this is more open and easier for innocents to move out of the way.

"Tail Thrash!" she cried, releasing her attack in a wild roar of power. Even as frightened as she was of losing control, there was a part of her that reveled in that release, the wild, animal side of her consciousness that delighted in the hunt.

Saiph watched as the attack surged towards the false Princess, tossing civilians who weren't quick enough will-nilly and shattering some of the icicles. It might not be enough to destroy this b***h, but with luck, it would sure hurt.

Demy, like so many others, had found his way to the Town Square thanks to the snow globes he had gained over the past few weeks. He had never known what to think of the snow globes, after all they..weren't exactly supposed to be able to talk, and even before that they had held some kind of spell over him. He had always had an addictive personality, but becoming addicted to the tune of some strange snow globe? Addicted to the feel of it, constantly needing to hold one or at least be near one?

This was not normal. Demy...wasn't exactly normal either, but this was an all new kind of weird.

As things turned from weird to just plain bad, the blonde had ducked off nearby and let the comfort of his Negaverse disguise slide over his body. This he knew, unlike the strange snow globes and this one proclaiming to be their princess. This he could handle.

...Even as snow and ice pelted him in his face. He was -really- goingt o have to look into some kind of further protection when he ranked up again. Especially the eyes.

There was another thing that Scheelite found comfort in, which was rushing right in without stopping to think about things. Thinking brought around discomfort and unease, rushing in? ...That was his style. So as the others tried to get their bearings, the Negaverse captain was busy rushing towards the icy throne.
"Ruler? HA! I already have one, thank you very much and I DON'T need another!"
Calling his guitar into his hands, he quickly swung it out at ice threatening to further pelt him, hoping to maybe hit some of her own projectiles right back at her.

"Not a bad introduction..." Nemesis noted with a playful smirk. Sure, she was exhausted, but there was something about an impending fight that just got Nemesis excited. This was an enemy she'd have no regrets over fighting - and no one would throw a hissy-fit if Ice b***h was taken out of the picture. The sailor soldier of decay had no interest in becoming an icicle statue, nor did she have any interest in being ruled over. Hell, Nemesis hardly wanted to consider the Moon Queen as her ruler, even thinking of Ares as one made Nemesis groan.

In the end, Nemesis would be ruled by no one, and when some b***h came in acting like she COULD take over... Nemesis was going to put her foot down. Down on that b***h's face.

Her arms raised to shield her face from the sudden barrage of hail, body angling so that she would take the least bit of damage that she could. There was no way she could run from an attack like that, and distantly, grimly, she noted just how exhausted she was. It was time to test the waters, to see just how strong their opponent was. She scooped a frost-covered stone off of the ground, and chucked it at Ice b***h.

Tony looked in horror as the deceptively attractive woman, though Tony did not find her at all alluring and her ridiculous excuse for clothes made him balk. And shiver. Yes, she seemed to be made of snow, but it didn't stop him from thinking that anyone who was human and dressed like that would be quite cold.

Not really the time to be letting his mind wander. He looked around him, noticing senshi popping up to do some fighting. Good! He knew they would, and he knew they would win.

They had to.

Brandishing his cane, he grimaced, face set in grim determination. He was going to do what he could, even if that was just being a distraction. Then he got hit in the face by hail and let out a yelp, immediately ducking under his arms to shield himself. But he had to do something, so he charged forward and swung his cane, he charged forward recklessly.

Or as recklessly as a mostly sensible man with a limp could, at any rate.

...This wasn't the princess he had ordered.

Xavier had gotten there late - having come home from his father's christmas dinner only to find his collection of snowglobes blabbering very clearly at him. So he'd taken them all, and went, and had arrived on the scene just in time for the snow princess' emergence.

Um, ******** ran before the hail even came, ducking in the nearest place he could find so he could power up safely, then returned to the scene.

Well, the situation was certainly noisy enough, but he would need some cover, He ran, wincing when some hail did hit home on his side, then finally unleashed his power, somewhere near Bellatrix and Europa. They knew how he fought. They'll know to cover him.

Vaguely it registered that Kurma was there and Chibimoon resisted the impulse to start yelling at him. It was his job to know everything about the cosmos, wasn't it? So how didn't he know that she was alive? But that was playing a blame game that really wouldn't get them anywhere, nor would it deal with the screaming hole of grief that had opened itself again inside the young princess. Why hadn't this b***h stayed dead?! Sailor Moon had destroyed her in what they had all thought was the most certain way ever. Was it because she was gone now, unable to protect her planet? But Chibimoon was here!

Chibimoon would stand.

A hand lightly rested on Hugbell's shoulder and said firmly. "Because the bad ones are the most loud. But the good ones always win." Or died trying. Chibimoon would not let this young girl die, even if it meant that her own last breath was spent ordering the girl to run away and never henshin again. Little girls did not need to die fighting power wars. Turning, a glimpse of sage caught her eye. "Juno! We need to send this icy monster back to the rock she fell off of! Moon Tiara Magic!" It flew from her fingers as the order spilled from her mouth in easy Japanese. With any hope, some damage would be done!
