"Nightmare" Nightmare's eyes rested upon the woman as she rushed toward him. Though the wounds were very self-inflicted, they still brought him quite a bit of pain. He listened to her speak of his other form, she knew what he was speaking about. He held a perfectly smooth face, focusing only upon his discomfort, resisting a coy grin, or a snicker.
She drew a handkerchief out, and it's fabric met his face gently, relieving his face of some of the freshly drawn blood. His eyes closed as she did so, as if scared or reluctant, like any sensible being would be. He listened to her, sitting himself upon the grass below. "I-- I tried my best to fight it off," he breathed, in his weakest voice he could muster. His ears flattened, though they slightly twitched upon the raised voice of another.
His breathing was heavy, as he shifted his eyes within his head to peer at Beatrix stomping by, and Eric joining Eve beside him. He looked back to Eve. "Thank you.. miss. I am glad that it didn't.. get to you guys."

Well, if it's not real You can't hold it in your hands You can't feel it with your heart And I won't believe it
Eveline Valdigraph A soft blue light started to glow in her hands and she concentrated on the mans wounds. they were horrible. That stupid dog. Some needs to put that thing away before it kills someone else. she thought and frowned. She looked up at the man and gave him a small smile. "At least you are alive." she said softly.
The blue glow from her hands slowly started to mend his smaller wounds and shrink his larger ones. She wasn't and expert in the arts of healing and it made her rather tried. Eveline looked over at the road and shook her head. The carriage had all their supplies. She needed bandages to patch him up. "I'm sorry...thats all I can do really...If I had the stuff that was left back in our carriage I could finish...That stupid dog..Blasted thing. I'm sorry. sir....Ah! What is your name?" She asked with a tilt of the head. "I am Eve...and this is Eric" her hand motioned to Eric. She glanced over to see Beatrix walking far away from them by now. "Oh..and that is Beatrix...but..." A look of concern appeared on her delicate features. "ah...I hope she doesn't go too far."
But if it's true You can see it with your eyes Even in the dark And that's where I want to be What a shame we all became, xxxxxxxxsuch fragile broken things, A memory remains, xxxJust a tiny spark, xxxxxxxI give it all my oxygen, XXXXXXXXXto let the flames begin, XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXOh glory... ~+~Beatrix~+~
Beatrix stopped walking when Lilith grabbed her arm. Her ears lowered as she listened to her speak. Was it really the truth? Trix missed Lilith's company and already felt guilty over the words she had said to her. She closed her eyes and hot tears slipped down her cheeks. She didn't want to hear any of this anymore. Dadrik was really watching me all this time? She placed her hand over her chest as she felt the dull ache from her heart. She tried to wipe away the tears but they kept flowing down her cheeks. Trix really did miss them, all of them.
As Lilith spoke about Aura she weakly shook her head. She did not remember very much about that day. Everything was a blur. "No...I don't remember lilith...I knew something was wrong when I finally had control again. He was no where near and the rose...was gone...As if...I had been rejected. He took it back. " She didn't the words that Aura had told him. She didn't understand it. "A danger to me?.....No...he's not...I don't believe he is. He had saved me so many times...I know I don't know the extent of his power nor the control he has over it but...even if he ." Her head started to ache again and the pain increased by the moment. Trix placed both hands on the side of her head but it didn't relieve her of the pain. "I don't care what danger he thinks he brings..perhaps he is trying to protect me....but....I'd rather not be protected if it's going to hurt so bad. I know I'm being selfish but he's the only person that I've ever wanted..." Aura's voice started to echo in her mind once again. Her tone was laced with anger and hatred toward Trix. Nothing was going to shove her away like the man in white had tried to do. She was persistent. 'b*****d...I know you can here me you white baboon. I hope you rot' The voice hissed. 'I will not be put away to easily. This is my territory. You have no right'
She dropped her her knees as the pain increased. It felt as though someone was pounding in her head with a hammer. Aura did not take well to her imprisonment and she refused to stay there. 'He's the only person I've ever wanted...' Aura mimicked her. 'Gods you're so pathetic. Your going to listen to her lies? Everything? Trixie you have reached a new level of stupidity. Why can't you just move on to another fellow or something? Get a few good things here and there then dump his a**? Gods you're so ******** needy.' Trix shook her head. Stop it Aura..Silence yourself. This is my body- Aura quickly cut her off. 'Your body? With all the things that I've done for you I will not listen to you claim this shell as your own.' Aura snarled angrily. 'You're letting them back in so easily. You're weak. Nothing. I'm sick of babying you. I won't hold your hand anymore. Your body will be mine and you will fade to nothing' Trix couldn't reply to the voice anymore her head throbbed to much to concentrate. Beatrix slowly got to her feet and started walking away from them all. She could no longer think clearly anymore and normally if she was alone Aura would quiet down.
. Somewhere weakness is our strength, And I'll die searching for it, I can't let myself regret, such selfishness, My pain I know the trouble caused, no matter how long, I believe that there's hope,
buried beneath it all..

Orpheus was paying attention to both situations. On one hand, Beatrix was way to conflicted then any normal person could handle. And on the other hand, the new guy with the wounds seemed to be hiding something. His emotions were a bit different then what he was showing everyone else. Orpheus assumed he was up to something because of this, but by his wounds, what could he possibly be up to. He quickly shrugged it off when he felt Aura's returning. When Beatrix spoke back to Lilith then started to walk away, Orpheus walked over to Lilith stepping infront of her. Her face looked hurt and sad. He held his arm out infront of her as she was about to go after Beatrix. " No, Lilith, your only going to cause....her to lash out more. We can't push it. I could eradicate her, but it may be a potential threat to her. She could die from Aura's lash out...maybe.." he thought for a moment. His mind was racing. This is when he decided to answer Aura back. 'Care to give it a shot to make me rot, love? Your so arrogant....' Is all he replied back. This thing was annoying and crazy. He turned his head back to Lilith. " Maybe we can force her out of Beatrix's head. I'm working on the rest. We'll figure it out." he said turning from her toward the Boy and Eveline. Dark had vanished and did fine himself being rude to him but with the circumstances, he felt introductions would be in order later. "Tell me? How did you escape, you don't look like much of a brawler." He said giving a cocked eye.

No sleep No sleep until I am done with finding the answer Won't stop Won't stop before I find a cure for this cancer Sometimes I feel I going down and so disconnected Somehow I know that I am haunted to be wanted . Maarick looked up into to the ever changing sky as he waited for Dadrik to awake. His eyes shifted once he felt someone coming, Well, Dark coming. His voice echoed in Maarick's head. 'Yeah, things are a bit hectic right now. As for the creatures, they have no soul. None of them. Its odd. This dark arts is quite different then other's I've seen. So far I think they've all been failiers. The real threat is that hellhound. It's soulless, but it seems where it's soul is...something else lingers.. I can't put my finger on it. It would also be a hassle if those creatures became complete. We have to find the person doing this soon.' He replied to dark. Maarick was also worried about the new comer. He couldn't tell anything about him from this distance. He would have to get closer, and soon.
The Phantom blaze
Lilith wanted to reply back but had nothing to really say. When she figured she could put a word in, Beatrix fell to her knees again. She wanted to help but, what could she do at this point. When Beatrix got up and started to walk away she was about to run after her again. But Orpheus stopped her. She looked up at him in confusion until he explained. She looked down and nodded. " Maybe I can help..." she said as she let Beatrix go. She didn't want her to have any more pain, mental or physical.
Lilith caught the scent of blood finally and her head turned toward the new guy. Orpheus asked a question quite rudely but she was now wondering the same thing. Especially since He was bleeding quite badly but more so, his blood smelled funny to Lilith. But instead of wondering why, her eyes winded a bit. " Oh my," She said darting over to him on her toes, the only sound was the rustling grass. " Are you ok...of course your not...That's a stupid question." She said with a scrunched up concerned look on her face. She got closer to to the man right next to Eveline. She gave one glance back at Beatrix, hoping she would be fine, then brought her attention back to the Man. "My name is Lilith by the way. Since we are giving our names out." She said still looking at the wounds. " It does look like teeth marks or claws. You must of been in the creatures why as he was fleeing huh? Poor guy." She said leaning in closer then turning her head to Eveline. "May I try?" She said with a bit of a smile while closing her eyes.
They say.... That I must learn to kill before I can feel safe But I I rather kill myself then turn into their slave Sometimes I feel that I should go and play with the thunder Somehow I just don't wanna stay and wait for a wonder

Well, if it's not real You can't hold it in your hands You can't feel it with your heart And I won't believe it
Eveline Valdigraph Eve glanced over at the man in white and frowned at him. she didn't like how he questioned the man already. The poor thing just escaped from death and someone wanted to know how? It could wait. "Perhaps thats a story for later? He just escaped you know, I don't think its' something to be asked about right away...." she said as her gaze stayed on the man for a few moments before shifting over the Lilith.
Eveline glanced over to find Beatrix further away. she bit her lip then quickly nodded and moved over to give Lilith some room so that she could work. She wondered how well her healing abilities were. Perhaps she could finish the job because Eve didn't have much energy left but she did make the larger wounds smaller.
Beatrix stumbled through the grass until she couldn't move anymore. She laid against warm ground under the sun and closed her eyes. 'arrogant? Me? What a d**k.' Aura snarled in Beatrix's mind. She could feel the anger from her tone vibrating the walls of her mind. Beatrix couldn't take much more and luckily Aura realized this. Aura's voice had faded for the moment giving her some relief.
Trix curled into a ball under the warmth of the sunlight. No matter how much pain she was in, she enjoyed the warmth of the sun. It always comforted her even when she doesn't think she wanted to go on much further. Perhaps I'll find the den of the monsters and just throw myself in there...I can't take much more of this. She thought. Her breathing was heavy and shaky while her body trembled. Tears continued to slip down her cheeks and little sniffles from her nose could be heard as Lilith's words lingered in her mind.
Trix's ears twitched as she heard the sound of running water not too far in the distance. Her throat was dry and the trickling sound just made it worse. Beatrix stood back up but her balance and soon she found herself on the ground once again. "I give up..." she muttered.

"Nightmare" Nightmare's eyes met Eve's as she looked back at him, smiling at her kind words. He'd never been treated that way. The best treatment the dog had ever gotten was from the Master, and that didn't say too much. His tail weakly thumped once upon the earth, as if he almost began to wag his tail at it.
His wounds began to shrink and the smaller wounds dissipated, leaving his flesh renewed, as if his own methods. He closed his eyes in the sensation, it felt much better as the pain alleviated. The sensation and warmth stopped, and his eyes slowly opened, his ears weakly perking atop his head with his curiosity. Her eyes were looking upon the road, at the carnage he'd left only a few passing moments ago. He blinked. What would he call himself? He had to think, fast.
He was still in somewhat of a daze from the sensation of the healing. "M--my name? I--it's Omni," he said, slowly regaining mobility, looking around him, toward eric, and toward the other eared being, Beatrix. It was then hat the white-haired man began to ask how he'd gotten away from.. well, himself. Before the dog could reply, the sounds of soft rustles met his hears, his head shifted to see Lillith. The fur on his tail weakly rose with sudden alarm, though he felt too light-headed to do much. He looked up at her as she asked, smiling weakly as she retorted her own inquiry.
"It is nice to meet you all," the hound said airily, as if almost from his little daze. He blinked rapidly, almost awkwardly, as she leaned closer. His ears flattened out to the sides- he'd never been treated so kindly by so many. He was almost growing shy. "Try? Uh--sure."
He looked to Eve, and nodded at her words. "Aye. Its a bit of a story. I'll tell ya once Lillith.. takes her.. try." He blinked awkwardly, as if he'd found no better wording for it..

No sleep No sleep until I am done with finding the answer Won't stop Won't stop before I find a cure for this cancer Sometimes I feel I going down and so disconnected Somehow I know that I am haunted to be wanted . Maarick decided now was the best time for him to go to the group. It seemed, Beatrix presence was no longer with them. They being there would not harm her any more then what Lilith had done. Although it wasn't Liliths fault. "Alright Dadrik, I guess I'm going to have to carry you." Maarick said kneeling down and taking Dadrik in his arms. 'Dark, I'm heading to where you just left. We seem to be safe for now, but you know how that is.' Maarick thought back to Dark. As he stood up with his brother in his arms, Maarick turned to the group and started walking but then his body flickered and he was gone. The grass swirling from his departure.
Close to Eveline, Lilith and Omni and to the left of Orpheus, the wind swirled in one area until a body holding someone flickered into place. The grass gently blowing away from The person. Maarick showed up infront of the group with Dadrik in his arms. His eyes drifted to Eveline's at first, giving her a slight bow in respects. He then turned to Orpheus a cocked an Eyebrow. " It's not that I'm not happy that you showed up and helped, but why are you here. " Maarick said with a bit of a laugh behind his tone. Orpheus just shrugged and said. "Seemed like a good Idea. The city up north was getting a bit..out of hand.". Maarick Nodded at him and turned away from them for a moment, setting Down Dadrik in the grass very gently. He stood back up and looked to Eveline. "Despite what you think Eveline, We did not abandon her, nor did we you." He said in a genuine tone. His eyes shifted to Lilith who was doing her thing to the new guy. Thats when his attention shifted to Omni's. His eyes slightly widened as he saw him, not him but, his soul. It was odd, something he's never really seen before. It was fractured, broken, and looked as if it wasn't of the same one. The best description would be like a quilt blanket. Made up of bits and pieces. How strange indeed. " Hello, Omni was it?" He said to him. " It looks as if you've had the day everyone else has had. My name is Maarick Da'vion. And the unconscious one over here is Dadrik, my brother. " he said with a kind smile.
The Phantom blaze
Lilith smiled as they both accepted her help. "You won't regret it." She said with a giggle. " Oh and you don't owe us a story, Its obvious what happened. The big loof over there is just pushy." she said placing her hand over one of his wounds, it was close enough to feel the heat from her hand but not the touch of her skin. Her hand started to glow with a baby blue aura. Right about then water started to flow from her pores of her skin till it started to run down her arm making a thin film of water. It trickled down her hand, her fingers until it started to flow over Omni's body. The water seemed to submerge his wounds, flowing from one to another. When the water did douse all the wounds, it started to pulse the light blue color. As this was happening the pain started to completely vanish. The wounds under the water started to look as if they were healing very rapidly, building back flesh until there were no more. But if one paid attention, the whole time she did this, Lilith was looking wide eye at Omni's Ears. One black, one white. It caught her attention. " Your ears are so very cute." She said looking down at Omni's eyes and smiling.

Behind Maarick, dirt rose from the ground and a single arm came out from it, making it's way to the surface like a freaking zombie, after the arm came the head, the other arm and the rest of the body.
"I hate your speed... but we can not have everything now can we?" Dark came to the surface and the hole in the ground closed. There were no signs of dust or dirt on his clothes, his dark cloak was clean. "Homunculus?" His thought was sent to Maarick once he spotted Omni and his weird soul. "So Omni... that's a great name isn't it?" Dark glanced to Lilith who was beside Omni, he just remembered something about her. "You can call me Dark, pretty much like your name Omni, at least in essence."
He was talking about the two existing words and how they used them as names, anyway he was hoping to see Lilith in action, he wants to see the Da'vion creation user.

"Nightmare" Nightmare smiled weakly at Lillith, she seemed full of energy. Her hand drew near him, and for a moment, his eyes fell upon her hand with curiosity as he felt his warmth. Her hand began to glow softly, and his ears perked at the sight, as if it had alarmed him or grabbed his curiosity- or both. The sounds of running water met these delicate ears, and his eyes shot to the direction it came from, her arm. It ran down her skin gently, rolled off her fingertips onto his skin.
The water was not cold, nor was it warm. It was the perfect temperature, soothing to the touch. It flowed with elegant intelligence to each wound, submerging the bleeding skin in its depths, before a glow came from it, the same as her hand had glowed. His eyes widened at all of this, it was truly fascinating.
Pain began to vanish from his body. His eyes closed again, as his wounds began to heal. His eyes slid open, in time to hear her comment about his ears. As if working against him, they perked at the compliment, at her voice. His eyes drew back to hers. "Th--thank you?" He said awkwardly, giving off the feeling that he'd never had them complimented. He felt warmth in his face, though he was unaware of it's meaning-- a blush. His tail, behind him, softly wagged. "Yes, thank you. For healing my wounds, miss Lillith. I do not regret it after all.. " He paused, adding swiftly," Not as if I expected to." He gave a small, sheepish laugh.
It was then that Maarick caught Nightmare's attention, his head turned to look at him, his eyes floating to Dadrik. His arm still bore the wound from his saliva. Widening with alarm, he played it off quickly. "Was he.. hurt by the beast as well.. Maarick?" He said the name very slowly, as if he was going to mispronounce it.
His eyes darted to Dark as the hole closed from whence he came. "It's.. my name," the dog stated, his ears dropping as if he was off put by it. . "I guess you could say it is nice. " His eyes wandered about the faces of people, including Dadrik. They remained on him, his look was of concern and ill ease, as he looked upon the wounds again.

The future's just around the bend But always changing is the end Petty cash for hopes and dreams Nothing is quite as it seems... Eric Halen Has the future changed? --------------------------- Worry still flooded Eric's face as he paid attention to everything. He hadn't been paying attaention as much as he should have been earlier, and realized it quickly. Since he had his little ominous vision, he realised that he had to keep an eye on things, especially since his ability was doing him very little to no good. Running his hands through his hair, he sighed. It tunred out the man had returned to using his nervous tick. The thing he always did when he felt unease. There was something about the entire situation that didn't quite add up. The creatures, the beast, the attacked people. Nothing added up perfectly. Somewhere alongs the lines, life made a rounding error, and Eric was determined to figure it out before his vision became reality. death was not something he enjoyed seeing. He had gone a long time to go without seeing anyone die, and he very much liked the idea of keeping it that way. When he noticed that Maarick showed up, Eric instantly felt the need to say something to him. Part of him wanted to yell at him for getting in the way of his abilities, and part of him wanted to ask his opinion on the situation. Eric stayed still, however, not moving to try and interact with anyone.
Eric decided that knowing more was the best way to figure out a situation. "Omni." He began. "I actually would like to hear your story. How did you get away from it? Everything it got to was killed. How is it you're still alive?" Eric didn't sound suspicious, but rather, curious. Although Eric did have trouble trusting any of the newcomers, his real concern was how to deal with the beast when is came back. He didn't want to be that things supper. He would much rather do something a bit more lively and painless. Perhaps swimming in an ocean? Anything sounded better than being eaten to Eric. The fortune teller sighed, and looked to his crystal ball, while awaiting an answer. ...Telling lies to get your way Breaking hearts most everyday Go fill them with that which is fake The fortune teller's pay is at stake

Well, if it's not real You can't hold it in your hands You can't feel it with your heart And I won't believe it
Eveline Valdigraph Eve's eyes widened as she watched Lilith heal up Omni's wounds. She felt a tad bit jealous of her abilities. Her own healing abilities were no where near Lilith's level. She felt slightly useless now because of this. With a soft sigh, she stood up. Eveline walked over to Eric and stood next to him. Her gaze wandered around her surroundings until it fell on the unconscious Dadrik. As her deep blue eyes studied him a frown appeared on her lips. She did feel anger towards him for what he did to Beatrix. She didn't need to understand why he did it. It was the fact that he did do it that made her irritated. She watched the change in Beatrix, closer than anyone else. Though she did admire the Da'vion and what they did, she is close to Beatrix. Since he hurt her best friend she didn't care much for him anymore. Eveline didn't care for his reasons, he was the cause of all of her pain. For that she didn't think she could ever forgive him.
She looked away from listened to the conversation around her between all of them and then new comer. She didn't say anything, only listened. Though she wished that the questions could be saved until later. She believe that man should rest and not be bothered with such trivial things. Poor man...she thought and shook her head. Eveline turned away and looked out towards where she had seen Beatrix off in the distance. Her eyes scanned the area and she couldn't' see her anymore. Eve started to worry if the creatures were to find her friend, what would happen? She didn't know what condition Trix was in to fight such beings.
But if it's true You can see it with your eyes Even in the dark And that's where I want to be

No sleep No sleep until I am done with finding the answer Won't stop Won't stop before I find a cure for this cancer Sometimes I feel I going down and so disconnected Somehow I know that I am haunted to be wanted . Maarick turned his as Dark showed up behind him. "Sorry, It may of been easier for you just to stay here. But if I would of said something to you in the first place, then you would of known. " He said with a crooked smile. Maarick then turned his head back toward Omni. Omni asked him a question but it seemed in his words, he was hiding something. But everyone has they're secrets. "Well Omni, yes, he did infact get hurt. Although the flesh wound healed, there's a deeper effect to what happened. One more then skin deep." He said looking over to his brothers arm. It wasn't scarred but it was slightly more pail then the rest of his skin. He quickly looked over to Omni. " Your wounds were different then his though. The creature must of used his claws on you. His saliva seems to be....Dangerous." He turned to Orpheus then to Dark. " Its not a normal acidic saliva. Its much more. " he said turning back to Omni. "But Don't worry, as long as your here, you will not have to worry about that creature. I Promise you that. " he told Omni giving a kind smile.
The Phantom blaze
The water that once gathered around the wounds stopped glowing. As soon as the wounds healed, the water trickled down his arm and fell to the ground, as if it all the sudden turned into normal water doing what normal water would do if one poured it on they're arm. All that would be left would be the droplets stuck in his arm hair. She let out a giggle as her eyes met his when he thanked her. She was trying not to make it seem like she was taken in by them. They were similar to Beatrix's but they were different colors which enticed her a bit. She wanted to reach out and touch them, as if they were telling her to. Her eyes went back to his ears and she halfway reached out to try and touch them. But she stopped and pulled her hand back infront of her lips. She let out a shy smile. Lilith then Dropped her hand to her side. She let out a soft laugh. Her head turned as her brother started to talk, she listened on as he spoke about the creature. Lilith let out a bit of a concerned look, then looked over to Dadrik. She was worried about what Maarick had said, his soul being fractured. He was hoping that he would be fine and soon. Her head was running with worry, that of Dadrik, of Omni....and especially Beatrix. She was out by herself right now. Someone should go look for her. She looked back over to Omni and gave another smile. Him saying 'not as if I expected to' made her smile. It was like he was not exactly sure what he should be saying, or if he didn't mean to say something. "You are a odd one huh? Your also and interesting one." She said with a bit of a nod.

Orpheus let out a bit of a sigh as Lilith and Eveline said he shouldn't push it. Orpheus then turned to Eric as Lilith spoke to Omni. His head turned as Maarick spoke and he listened. Maarick at one point turned and made eye contact with him and then Dark, turning back to Omni. His thoughts were Odd to him. And....awkwardly slightly fuzzy. He only caught bits and pieces of what he was thinking. Something that doesn't happen often. Orpheus turned back to Eric as Eveline went over to him. He had noticed his frustration along time ago and knew what it was about, but he decided to play it off a bit. " It looks as if there is something bothering you." He said to Eric. "You mind sharing? And as we do, I suggest you and I go look for the girl that ran off. We can't leave her without protection. Plus, I want to ask you a couple things." He said giving him a bit of a smirk.

"Nightmare" Nightmare felt the water running down his arms still, as the glow faded away. Her giggle made his ears perk atop his head once more, as their eyes had met. He blinked, looking down at the grass at the droplets running down the deep green blades of grass. By the time his head had turned to look up, hr hands were halfway toward his ears. He cocked a brow at it, before realizing what she wanted as she pulled her hands away, to her lips. He looked at her hands, as if he wouldn't really have minded the touch. Ear rubs felt nice, usually.. Not all Dogs could shake their habits.
His own head turned to listen to Maarick. His eyes softened at his words, in feint ill ease at hearing another had been attacked by 'the beast'. Maarick seemed to know more than even Nightmare did about his own saliva. An odd feeling, that was-- he was unaware his saliva had the ability to not only eat away matter, but the souls it came into contact with. He looked at Maarick, returning his gave. He gave a soft smile at Maarick's kind words. "Thank ya for that, Maarick."
His ears swiveled at the sound of Eric's voice, before his head turned to look at the purple-haired man. His ears flattened very slightly. "Well, I owe it ta ya. I was traveling upon the road, farther South of here. I know that this place is dangerous, but I was one of those people just hoping to get out without--trouble. But, ya already can tell that wasn't my luck." He paused, swallowing. "It came runnin' out of the grass. I smelled blood on it, but it smelled.. nasty, inhuman. It came at me with a --" He paused, as if he forgot the word he was looking for, but sat upright upon remembering it. "A lunge, I didn't get away in time-- I had barely gotten the sword. But, when it pinned me, before it did much, I drove the blade into it's bigger wound upon it's paw-- perhaps from Dadrik?" He asked curiously, his head tilting to Maarick before continuing with his story. "It's.. saliva got into my wounds, but I guess the wound was already deep, I just made it worse on him. So, he ran off after I drove the end 'a the sword into his belly."
He blinked, Lillith's voice gracing his ears. "Odd? -- Interestin'?" He laughed sheepishly. "I suppose so, Miss Lillith." He gave a shrug of his shoulders.

The future's just around the bend But always changing is the end Petty cash for hopes and dreams Nothing is quite as it seems... Eric Halen Has the future changed? --------------------------- Eric smiled at Omni, though it was not entirely genuine. Something about his story seemed off. It could have been true, but often times, there was a bit more to a story like that. With Eveline standing beside him, he wasn't sure if he felt comfortable, or even more worried. Eveline's presence was nice, but knowing that it wooul eventually be gone forever unless Eric did something was threatening on many levels. Maarick was still around, making Eric close to useless, and he of course, knew everything going on. Why is it Maarick was able to figure these things out. Why was he there, when Eric could actually be of use, blocking Eric's abilities. Frustration and worry were Eric's main emotions at the moment, and he desperately wanted them to pass. Eric wanted to know the source of the oncoming danger, and wanted to know right then. He couldn't be patient about it any longer. Not when there was something dangerous waiting to kill everyone. Not when there was something threatening Eveline and Beatrix.
While Eric clenched his fist, angry at his situation, his brain managed to take in the man in white's words. Did Eric really trust the man? Maybe he was the one silhouetted in Eric's vision. Eric sighed with frustration. He looked at Eveline, and the others. What if it was Dark, or Omni? Could Eric really live with himself if he left Eveline with the danger, and Eveline died? There was no way he could, but then again, the Da'vion brothers were there, so it seemed okayish. Eric sighed again. "I guess we can talk about it." He said. 'Since you have questions, and you did help us a bit earlier, I guess that I will help you find Beatrix, and have a small chat." Eric looked around at everyone one last time. Finally, his eyes rested on Eveline. "Will you be fine if I look for Beatrix with the man in white?" He asked. If she approved, he would go with the man. If not, he would stay there. ...Telling lies to get your way Breaking hearts most everyday Go fill them with that which is fake The fortune teller's pay is at stake
