Sparrow pulled a book out of her bag and skimmed through it finding the part she was looking for and said, "Yea, Professor I agree I might have trouble writing four inches without a tad more information even my book I have here isn't very descriptive."

Lena

Lena listened with interest to the surprisingly interesting subject they were discussing, writing down notes in her book. She thought history of magic was going to be boring but it was better then she thought, well, at least the first lesson was.. When the teacher had finished talking about the council and the subject they were discussing and announced the assignment, Lena took out what she was going to need to accomplish it and started writing it. After a few minutes, she was short of writing but also out of information. She didn’t know what else to write. She tried to remember what she knew on the subject and when a few other students started having the same problem as she did, she spoke. It's the same for me Professor. I don't think I can write four inches on that subject..

(In the assignments, I've posted more info. It's 75-125 words. So at least 7 to 10 lines should do it. Just Google'd. 4 inches = 10.16 centimeters But I meant that real life-wise on looseleaves ! Guess I should check out the metric system more. I remember Snape asking two scrolls (or something) for werewolf homework.)

"Well, it seems you all have trouble. Don't forget that a scroll is usually rolled up. Just writing your name at the top just scaped off at least an inch ! (Subject in PM) It's all about the spacing I guess. Ink splatters are so hard to read." she grinned at her whole class. Desiree did remember a classmate who'd fill every space avaiable on her parchment. The teacher couldn't even read it because it was almost pitch black.

Heart hurries to take thorough notes.

((I'm really busy right now, so I'll try to send you the homework as soon as possible, and as the other people said...It's a tad hard to write so much about the lesson, so if I can pull it off, be ready for tons of fluff!))

((You got 'til the 28th, which leaves roughly two weeks. Sorry, Quebeckan here so my metric system a little bit off. Like I said, it doesn't mean COMPLETE 4 inches. There's space, double-lined... I meant real-life wise. In a pm it's about a paragraph of maybe 5-7 to 10 lines depending on screen resolution. Think of it like S.P.E.W: Society for the Promotion of Elfish Warfare.))

Sparrow got out a piece of parchment and writes down some tips for writing the assignment and said, "Alright will try my best Professor." She was really worried, but would try her best to fulfill the assignment. Maybe getting some more books from the library would help. She made a note to visit there soon.

Harmony Trumarie...

Harmony begins to write her paper quickly, she doesn't make a stain on her parchment as usual, she smiles inwardly only to realize second later she has an ink stain on her cheek. Harmony levates her paper to Professor Éternelle, sighing.

Lena

After Professor Desiree told the class more information about the assignment, Lena understood much better. Thanks, Professor! She said, and continued to write for a few minutes. When she was done she got up and ran to the teacher's desk to drop the piece of parchment onto which her assignment was written in front of the professor. I've finished my assignment, Professor! She told the teacher. Lena then ran back to her desk and thought of how surprisingly well her first history of magic lesson had went. She thought it would be quite a hard class, learning and remembering everything, but so far, it wasn’t as bad or as boring as she thought it would be; she was very pleased.

"This is great Lena ! I see you've searched far and wide for the acceptable meaning. I won't spoil it to the others though, I'd love to read their own opinion on it of course. Make them think for themselves and forge a character." she'd whispered that l last part. Well wasn't this fun ! Not having much to do, she sat at her desk and started folding a flower... Ah origami. **But I'm surprised at the creativity of some though, they really know how to get their ideas heard and clear.** she thought for herself.

Sparrow walks up to Professor's desk. She felt it would be silly to use an owl when she can perfectly walk to class and hand it right in. "I have finished with the assignment Professor." Sparrow said and she gripped her assignment and handed it over to Professor Sparrow was only reluctant because she had no idea if it was good enough and she was doubting herself. She then goes and sits down quickly.

Desiree was looking at the students short pieces, her paper bird resting on the corner of her desk. "Thank you Miss Sparrow, you may go to your desk and start doing personal work." So far, they were all theoretically correct. They had an excellent mind and knew their history well. She wouldn't have to worry about them when the exams would come. Sighing for herself, she pulled out a scroll and began writing things on it. It was time to plan out things.

Daemon had dispatched the owl. His parchment was longer than the two inches. He'd got rather carried away.

Heart raises her hand. "Professor, can the homework be more than four inches?"
PostPosted: Sun Jan 09, 2011 10:23 am

"More than four inches ? I guess you can always do that, I don't mind ! I always love a good read so I can only thank you for being able to extrapoliate." she answered back. Desiree looked down at her notes. Hmm, not bad. It still needed something more... If you didn't guess, she wasn't really planning things. Just doodling. Heh, what do you think teachers do when their students are working ?
