Alex did a barrel roll as he narrowly avoided getting rammed by a DragonHeart fighter. A grin crossed his face from within his helmet as he reached out with his technopathic abilities to wrest control of the fighter from its pilot.
The pilot was panicing when he found his ship no longer responding to his commands but was entirely unable to do anything about it. He could use the manual eject but he wanted to try everything he could to gain control of his ship first.
He froze when he felt a resounding clang resonate through his ship as Alex latched onto it with magnetic boots. The pilot sealed his flight suit and grabbed his sidearm as he prepared for what was to come. The black suited Alex grinned from within his helmet at the pilot within before smashing his shield through the canopy. The pilot fired frantically at Alex but his armored space suit was more than capable enough of withstanding the attacks.
Alex slammed his shield repeatedly into the man's head to knock him unconscious. Luckily for the pilot his suit's integrity was not ruined during this. Alex placed his shield off to the side of the ship and let it float there as he reached his now free hand down to remove the unconscious pilot from his fighter. He tossed the man into the depths of space before grabbing his shield once more and hopping into the man's seat and buckling in.
A daredevil grin covered Alex's face as he set the fighter on a collision course with the Dragonheart flagship. He felt like doing a little boarding action and wanted to go about it in an awesome way.

A single Dragonheart pilot took his hands off the controls of his craft, clutching his head as something-no, someone overwhelmed his consciousness. Subtlety could wait until it was needed; for now, unfortunately, brute mental force would have to suffice.
Moments later, the pilot straightened up again, steering his craft towards his own ships with a steady hand and opening fire.

"Nuclear launch detected." a sexy female robot voice warned.
A battleship fired a large missile on a Dragonheart position....there was a brilliant flash of light and several thousand soldiers were suddenly skeletons suspended in time.....then ashes. The mushroom cloud would hang ominously over the battlefield for hours.

The nuke was truly devastating. Not one Dragonheart thought it would have come to that. For most, it would have been a drop in morale. However, the Dragonhearts refused to give in. Those that survived attacked more fiercely than they had before. With nothing to lose, their only objective now was to take down their attackers.

Alex gritted his teeth as he was being attacked by both sides at the moment. He hadn't gotten around to rewiring the IFF system yet. Which meant he was still listed as a dragonheart fighter on the Tri-alliance's sensors. The dragonheart's however had realized his course and were firing to stop him.
He did his best to avoid as much of the attacks as possible. However while he had piloting experience in the past he was a bit rusty and took more damage than he would have liked. That and the fighter was unfamiliar to him.

Blast it, one of the Dragonheart soldiers had some sort of deep-seated night terror that was fighting back. A slavering, many-headed alien creature roared its defiance within the soldier's mind, taking a moderate chunk out of the sorcerer's astral form before he withdrew from that one particular consciousness.
The pilot in question shuddered, never knowing what he had come close to as he continued to fight.
