Ty smiled when she blushed. He too had been a bit apprehensive about letting his feelings out, at least when he wasn't drunk, because Marv was his best friend, and he wouldn't ever want to lose him. So he was content with just sitting by. But now...not because Marv was dead, but because he was drunk and they both let it out...maybe he had a chance.
He smiled when she kissed his chin and said she was glad to hear it. "Now, that's not how you do it." he teased softly, leaning down and claiming her lips in a soft, sweet kiss.

Scarlet Macey Blaire Macey laughed a little when he told her that it wasn't how it was done. She knew that, silly. Her height incapacitation had prevented her from kissing him correctly. Maybe she should have worn those heels after all. Then she definatley would have been able to kiss him correctly. As it was, she was already straining to reach his chin.
Mace's heart skipped a beat, or at least it felt like it, when he brought his lips down to meet hers. It was intoxicating, how sweet it was. Almost like it was too good to be true. She bit her lip as her nerves got to her, and ended up barely scraping his in the process. Now she felt bad. Mace hoped she hadn't hurt him, but didn't feel like pulling their lips apart just to ask.

Ty always found it funny how much she struggled with her height...not funny in a malicious way, but funny in a cute way. Funny that she could only get his chin instead of his lips.
He closed his eyes and held her in the kiss, even after she bit her lip and almost got his in the process. He didn't mind all that much. He pulled away a bit for air, and breathed her name. He didn't know why, it just slipped out.
"Macey..."

Scarlet Macey Blaire Macey got the chills when he said her name. It was sweet in a way, but also entirely unexpected. "Hmmm.." She murmured as if he had called out for her. She was simply asking what he wanted, in a way. That's what she now wondered. What he wanted. Did he want them to be together? Did he want to forget this after tonight? So many questions ran through her mind, none of which had answers.
The only source for those answers were Tyler. She pulled her lips away from his slowly, almost unwillingly. "Can we sit down?...I've gotten a bit dizzy..." She asked bashfully. She had hated that she had broke the kiss, but she had felt as if her legs were going to give out on her. Almost s fi the kiss had made her light headed.

Ty heard her request, but he didn't know what to say. What did he want? Well, to be honest...Macey. She was pretty much the one he wanted. He was about to speak when she asked to sit. He nodded and helped her sit on the sand of the beach, wrapping an arm around her.
"Macey, I..." he said softly. "Can we be together? Should we be together?" he asked.

Scarlet Macey Blaire Macey thought it was sweet that he helped her sit down. It was gentlemanly of him. It also made her blush a little. See, she could have perfectly well sat down on her own, but he helped her without her having to ask. It was sweet. Mace liked that.
Wait, what? Oh, she should have expected that. In a way she kind of hoped for that question. Could they be together? Yes, they could. Should they be together? Mace honestly didn't know. If he was still alive, she would have wanted to ask Marvin first. "Could we be together? Yes. Should we be together? I have no idea. Do I want us to be together.....?" She trailed off before looking him in the eyes. "Yes...." . . This is the best one yet, and I´m so happy

Tyler didn't know what to expect when he asked his question. He wanted to be with her, but he didn't know if it would be right. But then he listened to her answer, and his gray eyes looked right into hers when she said she wanted to be together.
"Macey..." he said softly, putting his hand on her cheek. She had such beautiful eyes..."Do...do you want to try this? Try for us to become a couple?" he asked softly.

Scarlet Macey Blaire Macey closed her eyes for a moment as he placed his hand on her cheek. She just enjoyed the feeling of it there for a moment before opening her eyes again. She bit her lip when he asked the question, for part of her was torn on the answer.
One hand, she wondered how her parents would take the whole thing. They might yell at her and say she didn't care about her brother's feelings, or accuse her of trying to get his best friend all along. But, they might be really accepting and be glad for her to be dating Tyler.Which was something she wanted to do. She nodded slightly before speaking. "Yes, I want to try this...but I want to keep it on the down low for awhile. My parent's have enough to worry about right now..." . This is the best one yet, and I´m so happy

Ty was waiting patiently for an answer, his heart beating a bit quickly. What would she say? Was he going to make a fool of himself? He hoped not...he could just imagine how much fun they could have together, how great of a couple they could be.
He listened to her speak and nodded. "Of course, I understand." he said softly, kissing her on the lips sweetly.

Scarlet Macey Blaire Macey thought they would be good for each other. That they would be a great match. Heck, everyone would have to deal with it eventually. Therefore, when he kissed her again, she welcomed it. She had leaned into him and wound a hand around his neck and into his hair. This was perfect. Now, only if it could last forever.

It was the morning after the memorial service for Marvin. Macey slept hard, the combination of drinks and her exhaution guaranteed that. In a way, she was greatful. She could escape from reality for a bit, and rest herself up. In a few weeks, she'd be back in school, and that would keep her mind off of her brother being gone.
She rolled over to stretch out on her hotel bed and ran into another body. Instantly she froze. Who else was in her room? She opened her eyes slowly. Once they focused on the other person, they were wide with shock. That dark hair, no, it couldn't be... "Tyler?" She said softly. What had happened last night? Inside she was freaking out. . Don't be a baby

Various things happened in Ty's head. He saw a lot of weird things. Some where just random, weird dream things. One was him and Macey kissing on the beach. That was a pleasant dream. He felt something shift next to him, and a foot kick him when she stretched. He groaned when he heard his name, coming to his senses. His head pounded like mad, and his tongue felt fuzzy. "What?" he mumbled, still face down on the bed and not interested in turning over and exposing his eyes to the harsh light.

Scarlet Macey Blaire Macey was glad he confirmed it was him. She reached a hand over and shook his shoulder. She wanted him to wake up. Mace had a feeling that her brain was about to go into major freak out mode. "Wake up!" She said while she shook. This was not good. Not good at all.
She started to get a headache. Maybe it was a hangover, maybe it was because she was mentally freaking out. Heck, she didn't care. "Wake up!" She said again. That's when she spotted it. The tiny little band on her left ring finger. It hadn't been there the night before. No. No. No. No! She let out a little scream and jumped, falling off the bed backwards.

"I am up, dammit." Ty groaned. He still didn't want to move, and his hungover mind didn't register the panic in her voice. It was only when she screamed and fell off the bed that he sat up and closed his eyes in the extreme pain of his head protesting against the sudden movement.
He collapsed onto the bed and crawled to the end to look at her on the ground. "What?" he groaned. "What's wrong, Mace?" he said. He just now realized that she was naked, and wondered how that had happened.

Scarlet Macey Blaire Macey cursed under her breath. She hadn't realized that she wasn't wearing any clothing. Her face flushed a deep red as she snatched a blanket off the bed to cover herself up with. Then she realized Tyler was nude too. Her face got twice as red, if it was even possible.
"This....This is what's wrong Tyler..." She said as stern as she could with her voice shaking. She held up her left hand as close to him as she could. The light was probably glinting off that little ring now. She couldn't even look at her hand. She couldn't believe it and didn't want it to be true.

Tyler stared for a bit, his mind trying to figure out what he was being shown. Hand. Yellow glint. On her finger. "Cool, it's a ring." he said.
His own finger started to feel really heavy. He dragged his hand out in front of him, but his arm flopped over the bed and instead hung next to hers, a matching ring on his hand.
"What the ********..." he breathed, and he never cursed unless something was really, really wrong.
