Sepheran had begun to make his way with the group moving towards their decided mountain path when a familiarly loud voice caught his attention. Stopping for a moment the basilisk turned to J.P. "Talking to me? Well...looks like we're heading towards Sandy Claw's workshop and decided on the mountain route. We are all going as a group so you should follow...there are some nasty things out here," Sephy stated before motioning in the direction of the knocked down tree, "Had this horrid happy tree attack me just moments ago, I took care of him though...let's hurry before we are left behind," Sepheran added as he started moving back to the group for safety measures.

"Yes yes, coming! Now, G was the green monster with the games? I haven't seen him since the crash . . ." As was the case for several of them. He knew Petro was alright and hoped the tikbalang wasn't getting in over his spiky head, or that he would find their group somehow; Tahki, though, he wasn't so sure about. But he wasn't particularly worried: she wasan ice gryphon after all.
With Sepheran stopping long enough for J.P. to catch up, they moved along after the easily flustered boil. "Funny how they didn't mention a raid on the flyer for this event. And that bedsheet creature is still niggling at the back of my head . . ." Haku turned an eye skyward just in case.

J.P. Nodded and said "Okay! That a great idea! and nice job on that tree!" He wag his tail and look at the other. "Maybe G took other with him and set off not knowing where we are." As Long as we all stay safe it would be okay. He started walking with the others.

Tybalt paused a moment. Wait, wait, WAIT! Mountain route..? He took a quick peek at the map, before quickly searching his pockets and pulling out the card from earlier. "Err, hold on a minute guys! Think this might have something to do with that water route?" He asked curiously.
The card said "seafear island security" and on the map looked like an island. "Maybe we should take that route instead? I have a hunch that these might come in handy there." He waved the card slightly.

Natalia staggered several steps forward through the snow, hitting holes that would have otherwise gone unnoticed. Chills ran up her spine, hairs everywhere standing on end from the shock...She agreed with the black-dog(lul) boil, whispering "G?" to herself in question. Must be someone they knew.
"!!!" Making it across a mound, the monster approached Laiha and lingered near her, but seemed to be facing the group and addressing them as a whole. "Wait! Wait! Can't leave G. Can't leave others behind! Dangerous forest." Tybalt(lulx2) seemed a bit uneasy with his inquiry, and the subtle hint did not go without notice.
"Is dangerous..." With that she wondered...what did G look like...

Xi stopped for a moment before he turned back and walked over to Tybalt, "You're right, I still have mine also..." Xi pulled out the card from inside his pocket, trying to remember who the other two were that got one. "Do you think all four of us will need to use our cards?" Xi was surprised that his multi-purpose card did actually have another use instead of just being a rule and a paper weight. "We should definitely go the island route then. It only makes sense since we have these cards. Who else agrees?" He wasn't looking too forward to swimming, but he'd suck it up. Perhaps they could split up into two groups, although he really didn't want to.

Sepheran stopped for a moment upon hearing the news. That's right a few students had won a card like that from the old man, Sephy hadn't been one of them but a few in their group had gotten it. "That's a good point, maybe we should take the island route then instead," Sepheran agreed. He didn't mind, the island route meant he would have to worry about the cold at least and that was a bonus for him. "I would rather not separate unless we absolutely must though...so shall we go the island route instead?" Sephy asked pausing briefly wondering what the group would decide.

Ah, he had all but forgotten about those cards! Haku frowned thoughtfully as they were pulled out, indeed remembering there was an island route. "My only question is if they will let us all pass, or if they would only allow the bearer to? I'd hate to walk all that way and waste my time personally."
Especially if he was reduced to swimming. Jack no, not in this cold weather.
"Though you have a valid point . . . I suppose we might as well check it out and see what our options are." He had to wonder if there was such a thing as an "easy" route to the workshop, but that was Haku: always skeptical.

Laiha tilted her head at one of the card-bearers and itched her nose. Yes, perhaps they did have a use after all. She had already sworn to go with Xi, and so it was the island route with her. My, she hoped she didn't have to swim, and maybe it would be nice to not have to scale freezing cliff faces. She would go with Xi to the island, and simply leave him there if there was a building to raid.

"Haku has a point too. Hmmm... this is a hard decision." Whatever the group decided, they would have to do so quickly. They only had about two days to make it to the next destination, so it was best to make a decision together as a group without argument, "Do we know if any of the other students in the other cabins got cards also?" Xi thought it over again, "We'll just have to take the gamble, I suppose. I don't want just the four of us with cards going, we would be a lot more likely to die that way."

Seperating? Nooo, that was never a good idea. While the lot conversed, Natalia watched as Tybalt pulled his card out from his pocket first, and then Xi followed. Who else had one?
Her new talons were not ideal for shoving into pockets, but two fingers? That would work. Having to rise up on her back feet, the monster slipped her index finger and her thumb into one pocket, shuffling around while the other hand worked on the other pocket. At first she felt nothing, her face looking increasingly distressed as a cramp started up in her right palm...but then! Oh, then, the ghouls face lit up. "I have one!" She cheered, waving it around in the same manner as Tybalt.
Listening as the conversation continued, she began to wonder the same questions. WOULD they allow all the students to pass through even if only a few had the cards? The uncertainty remained, but one thing was for sure NOT going to happen:
"We should not separate...no separate." The idea...it made her skin crawl!

"One of us could go back and ask," Laiha offered, "but otherwise I say we go the island route. Anyone else with cards will go there too, and those of us without can just keep going." She was pretty sure she had never spoken this much to anyone before.

J.P. pulled out his Card from his bag and Wiggled. "You Mean this bad tasting thing! What good does it?" He ask as he lick it. He made a funny face still not liking it taste. "I go where you wanna! I also love the cold and cold water! So it fine with me! Also cus this pen don't work I'm in my true wolf from so other can ride on me if they like!" He said with glee!

Xi smiled to see that Natalia had one too, so just in case it HAD to be just the four of them then they would be pretty safe at least since Natalia would be there. "Going back and asking would take too long... we've already covered so much ground, it would be a shame to just send someone back. Besides, it would be too risky... they would get themselves killed. I'm going to take the gamble and go the island route. I really think everyone should go as well." Xi started down the path towards the island route, regardless of whether or not anyone followed. That was that, his decision was made. Hopefully, they would though... hopefully.

Tybalt gave the were-lemur a pat. "I'm sure they'll be fine. G is a pretty big swamp beast and strong. You saw the blow that ghost took from him on the train." He tried to reassure her, but to be honest, he was not comfortable with leaving anyone behind either.
"All I'm saying is that these things may have a purpose there." He shrugged. "Hell maybe like passage through a safe route or something. Or something that deals with the creatures. Like, with each use of a card, you get to evade something?" Damn, this was starting to sound like a game. As for what Haku had a pointed out. Sure there was a risk, but the mountain path was probably no different from the water path. With the exception, that they might get luckier on the water route thanks to that old fart.
"Hmm... I'll let you guys choose. I couldn't really care about which direction we go in. Like I said. I just want to keep moving."
