 Tachibana nodded and then messed with his hair. "That's cool." It was becoming harder to talk now that their was some akward silence. Between the two of them, one had to ask a question or comment of somthing. Oh downstairs cheered laughter and the sound of his mom on the phone was growing louder and louder, so much that Tachi could barely think.

"Yeah. I like the fact that you get to be someone or something your not. It's a few months away I've already planned out what I going to be. Do you like to dress up and trick or treat during that time?" He asked, sighing softly as Tachi was a very shy young man. Hell he was half tempted to ask him why he was like that. Very tempted. If Tachi didn't talke more than five words he was definiately going to ask him.

Tachibana looked at Takeru then when he explained why he liked Halloween. To trick of treat. He smiled a very small smile. "I don't celebrate it, often at least, my mom hates it since it was........" He stopped himself and shook his head. He sighed looking down again. The day his parents had one final argument and then his dad walked out on them. Tachi leaned back in the chair.

Looking at Tachi closer he frowned some. "It was what?" He asked curious and moving the end of the bed interested in what Tachi had to say. "Tell me?" He asked softly wanting to know what made him so hesitant.

Tachibana looked at Takeru and quickly looked away. He sighed alittle. He remained silent though. Not going to say it, nothing Takeru would do could make him talk about it even the slightest. It was depressing, very depressing. He looked out the window in Takeru's room, the night was dragging on.

Takeru ran a hand through his hair and nodded. "Okay. Another time then. What is your favorite animal?" He asked to distract the young boy from thinking about something that obviously hurt him. Yet he could understand because if it had to do with his other parent he could relate very easily. Take went through the samething.

Tachibana sighed in relief. He didn't have to tell about it. "Um well...is there anything else that you would like to discuss." He asked, looking at Takeru, but at that moment he heard his mom call him. Tachi got up and then went to the stairs where she was waiting with her coat on. "Come now, we must hurry home. Say goodbye to Takeru." She said, walking to the door, kissing the other boy's father goodbye for now. Tachi just waved and then went downstairs, forgetting his coat and just running into the car, driving away.

Takeru opened his mouth to say something else when Tachi was called down by his mother and walked after him, a few steps behind. Waving slightly to the young man he was soon going to call step brother he blinked as he forgot his coat. Taking it up and running out of the house to stop but it was too late. Ms. Saika had already left with her son to go home. "Tomorrow then." He murmured to himself and went in to get ready for tomorrow school so that he can give that coat back.

Tachibana covered his ears on the drive home as his mother wuldn't shut up about the evening. She was repeating herself. That was the problem and why Tachi fell asleep, halfway there. He sort of knocked himself out so he didn't have to hear such continuous dribble. When they got home, that's when Tachi remembered his coat. "No problem, just going to get it tomorrow." He said to himself as he walked in side and went to bed almost immediately.

The next day Takeru was eager to get to class. Well he thought it was because he wanted to give Tachi his coat but really he couldn't stop thinking about the fact that they were going to be brothers and the fact that Tachi was talking to him more than he had in school.
Looking around he tried to search for him and wait for him. It was the reason why he had come really early to the school to catch him. He always wanted to ask him if he would join him for lunch so they could continue talking.

Tachibana was riding his bike to school. His mother left early for work and couldn't drop him off so he was there later than usual, but still pretty early. He went to put his bike up in the racks when he saw Takeru...with his jacket. Well that was nice of his new brother. He put on the chain and the lock combination and then went into the main school campus.

Takeru kept looking around until he caught sight of something pink moving into the school. The only on he knew with pink hair was Tachi which prompted him to follow that pink hair. If it wasn't Tachibana then that was okay. They had two class periods together so that was plenty of time to give the coat to him but he wanted to see him...Like right now...Which was odd.

Tachibana started to get a strange feeling that he was being followed. SO he did what anyone else did. Started to walk faster..Eventually he turned around and stopped just to see who it was. Just onlyy to see...Takeru with his jacket, well as long as noone here was looking or anything it would fine. "Hey.."

Takeru followed the other man faster until he stopped abruptly at his greeting. Blinking he smiled slightly. "Hey." He just stood there in silence, watching him. Shaking his head to get out of that odd trance he offered Tachi's jacket. "Um...You left this last night. I thought you might want it back." He said looking dumb and feeling dumb for stating the obvious.

Tachibana looked at Takeru as he offered his jacket and then took it back when someone stated that Tachi was over at Takeru's house last night and the other boy's friend seemed pissed at the both of them. He put it on since he felt cold. "Uh..thanks..I'd better go.." He said, turning and walking to the class to some work that he couldn't do last night because of obvious reasons.
