The footsteps of the two splashed through puddles doting the sidewalk like mines. Kazket new he had lost track of time by Jenga's near immediate departure. The lack of sunlight inside the library had provided a stagnant backdrop for the echoing tomes. With no reference point to the sunlight it was easy for Kazket to be absorbed by his studies. Once free of the stale air and crisp scrolls he stood once more beneath the rain. His attention turned fully to his friend as he emerged. "Sorry for the wait ol' boy I got a little caught up..." His tone wavered as he spoke not positive how much apology Jenga was even interested in. "I did manage to find a rather fruitful wellspring of taijutsu techniques. The village seems to have an affinity for sensory abilities, but I was able to sift through the necessary scrolls. We can discuss more on the way." Jenga's pace was strange to keep up with, too slow to be rushed yet swift and expeditious. Kazket's eyes peered from the walls of the ally to the glistening mask with a small spattering of rain running down. It seemed Jenga was still becoming accustom to the umbrella. In the past week or two Kazket had spent much time not only studying abilities but also his companion. He always had a hard time reading the blank stare of the ivory.

"Once we arrive at the training grounds we can begin whenever you like. I will need some practice myself, I believe it might prove difficult for me to master even these low level abilities..." Kazket paused tracing over the instructions in his mind. Separating the abilities was the most difficult part of the memorizing but Kazket was confident. If Kazket had the premeditation to gain a library card he would have but he had grown far too eager to begin his true training. "There were a collection of rather bestial strikes as well as some acrobatic dodges but the style that caught my attention the most was a distinct martial arts focusing on kunai and other knives." The scrolls showed styles and spoke of specific attacks and dodges, some even providing chakra to the torso to strengthen the cardiovascular system. It was interesting the different varieties and variations shinobi had accumulated over the years. "I must say I am disappointed to not find any recordings of my clan's methodology but I did find legends describing what they could do. My goal is to possess my skeletal structure as my weapon." Kazket raised his hand looking to his palm. His eyes traced through the bones naming each finger section before tracing further down. "Sturdy, sharp, and incredibly light weight sounds like the perfect weapon. Our anatomy is surprisingly advanced and yet sadly limiting..." He stared down at his hand as he walked drifting into though.

After dodging and weaving through continuous back allies Kazket came to a stop where four allies intersected. "Well... I wont lie, I am a tad lost. I haven't been here long enough to know these allies. The training grounds are to the north... perhaps you know the way?" Kazket gave a half witted grin as he looked to his friend. The two stood somewhat close making use of the umbrella despite the lessening the rain. Kazket scanned the allies noting the piles of garbage and the various windows and decorations upon each towering building. Nothing could provide a notable sign of their current location. He let out a sigh disappointed to be lost in what was now his home village.

Jenga kept his pace, not ever altering it for the sake of a narrow and weaving set of directions. He wasn't exactly well-mapped in his head, but Jenga had been around the city many times. As they walked, he listened intently to the knowledge that Kazket was imbuing him with about their proceeding exploits. The wait at the Library was more than likely worth it; though Jenga was among intelligent beings, he was not one for research and study. It had never suited him to enclose himself and read a book. Rather, it was fortunate that his ally had such skills... However, it seemed a sense of direction wasn't among them.

Jenga stopped, staring at the directional crossways just a few moments before Kazket admitted their being lost. Jenga already knew... They 'smelled' lost. He let a little sigh, perhaps one of few emotions he had exerted all day. "I know not." He said simply, before walking a direction that he assumed was north. Although Jenga had admitted to not knowing where they were going, they both lacked that knowledge. He took it upon himself to walk a direction he presumed would lead them to the Training Grounds, though he couldn't be sure. Jenga spoke as he just started his journey, this time in reference to his companion's earlier interests. "Bones." He spoke, monotonous and unreadable, "Fascinating." There was no sarcasm in his voice... There was little of anything that could be described. Jenga himself had been finding an interest in bones... But the interests he had lay in the skeletal structures of others, rather than his own. Weaponry from bones didn't seem unfeasible, it just didn't catch Jenga's attention when he had relied on steel many times to cleave flesh. He didn't fix what wasn't broken, and he had all intention of being equipped.

The endless rhythmical steps echoed through the stone and steel buildings causing an eerie atmosphere. The world was growing slightly more quiet as the rain gently slowed its endless assault on the land. Kazket was unsure what to make of Jenga's responses. Always so vague and without direction it in a way complimented his own aired dialogue. "Well then I suppose if this is where we can to go I can scope out the higher reaches of the building. Would you like to give a little race? Some free-running is always fun." A grin spread across Kazket's lips as he began to focus his chakra into his feet. "I must say I paid attention in at least some of the classes. Let's see if you did the same." Once the chakra had gathered Kazket pushed off from the ground and was sprung into the air. He held his grin as he landed on fire escapes and dashed from one ladder to another.

Kazket was not built for physical endurance he had always been more of the studious type. He knew if he were to win the race he would have to rely on his chakra. He scampered as best he could up a ladder before leaping across to another building barely catching hold of the edge. For a second he dangled struggling to hold on. As he flexed he focused his chakra into his hands increasing his capabilities as he slowly crawled over the ledge. His breathing had already grown heavy but he knew he would have to recover fast.

As he stood upon the rooftop he looked back to see the towering buildings of the city but he could not get distracted by the sights. His gave turned to the north seeing the very edge of the village not far off. A sigh escaped his lips, "We were too far north." As he confirmed the poles he shifted to search for the training grounds. They were not hard to find as he scanned for the large opening surrounded by buildings. His grin reemerged as he darted off across the stone rooftops. He grit his teeth and focused as best he could before leaping from the edge of one roof down to another beginning his directed dash.

Jenga glanced back as Kazket started talking. He wasn't competitive at all, but it was the spark of swiftness to their destination that caught his interest. Plus, who hates a race? The fellow shinobi and him often toyed with minor contests, growing in intensity since their meeting at the Ninja Academy. Behind the mask, he smiled. He turned back and peered at Kazket through the mask, standing completely still. Kazket was not waiting for his agreement to begin this contest, leaving the ground the moment he had finished speaking. With that, Jenga stood for a few seconds longer, patiently. He uttered, "Go." to nobody, and followed the path that Kazket laid out, with considerable more difficulty. He was not among great chakra users, and would be taking the path mostly unassisted.

Jenga reached a flattened, short roof top. He saw a moving shadow, making distance with him; it was surely Kazket. He then looked beyond Kazket towards the destination. He too spotted the grounds that were the finish line, and immediately began a straight run towards it. He quickly left the rooftops to a path he knew much more, the alleys. Jenga took the straightest path he could towards the grounds, building momentum and speed with his head down slightly. He was able bodied compared to most, but lacked any ability to inspire chakra to assist him. Jenga ripped forward, not stopping once for the sake of obstacle. He occasionally dodged trash cans and ash pits, mainframes of the city that he dwelled in. His traction was unrivaled, given his footwear; this proved invaluable at a full-speed run in the wettest of environments. He left the ground to grab a horizontal support bar, before brachiating to another. Jenga flung himself from there to a more open street, wide to accompany his now reckless speed. The training ground was within sight by now, still at a distance.

Kazket's body surged onwards pushing as hard as it could go. It was not an incredible strain for him to move onward but he was not sure of Jenga's true abilities. With seconds between them he wasn't going to give in just yet. His chest rose and fell heavily from the strain. As his breath slowly began to wind him he took leaped from another roof flinging himself down towards the training grounds. As his body fell in form he measured the distance just a second too late. He was much higher than he had expected and from this steep of a fall he would surely hurt himself. His grin swiftly retreated as worry coated his face. He grit his teeth thinking quickly and prayed solemnly to himself. As he opened his eyes he began to spin himself in a ball. After a second of gaining momentum he shifted his weight now only feet off the ground. As he uncurled he stretched out his hand as if to grab hold of the tree that now stood in his way. His hand grabbed hold of the branches for only split second before his grip tore through the branch.

He was shocked at the success sure that if he failed his hand would have been crushed but here he tore through the limb. The reduced speed of the obstruction gave him just enough time to roll across the ground. His body finally came to a stop inside the grounds and his gaze fell to his hand. The skin on his palm and fingers had been ripped off by the bark and splintering of the tree. Beneath the flesh he could see his bones growing and shining a pearly white beneath the red tender skin that barely covered the gauntlet of bone. He smirked running his finger across the exposed digits. The underside of his fingers and completely cut open the skin covering them. They had been sharpened and perfected as a natural claw. It seemed his studies had paid off but it seemed like a small feat to sharpen and strengthen bones that already were present.

His vision raised from his bleeding hand to see Jenga standing within the grounds as well. In the chaos he had lost visual contact and was entirely unsure of the outcome of the race. His breathing was far from stagnant now and his body felt a tad too pressured. "Perhaps I over did it... I don't even know if I won." He spoke through the heavy breaths. "Well it seems I can at least accomplish the basics of my bodies capabilities..." He smiled as he held up his hand hardly bleeding now that the bones slowly turned to normal and the flesh reconnected. It was a painful process for the chakra to rebuild his skin but he hand never recovered from an injury like this before. Perhaps the bone jutsu allowed to recover his body in use of chakra. An intriguing process to be sure.

As he replaced his hand his mind fell back to the taijutsu styles he had read about. "Eh, forget the race I don't even care who won. We got here faster and I figured this thing out so it was a win in my book. So what sort of taijutsu are you interested in? I had come across a series of bestial martial arts, a refined zin-like swiftness, a duelist with swords, and a basics weapons manual. I can't say I can do them perfectly myself but maybe if I show you or even just tell you you could do better than I." He thought for a moment attempting to predict what Jenga would be interested in.

Jenga was approaching the open to the grounds, when he spotted Kazket's shadow overhead. He was a blur of speed, and Jenga kicked his last bit of strength in to achieve a comparable one. He lowered his body more aerodynamically, springing over the barrier that marked the Training grounds and sliding as he made contact with the ground again. Sand and dust were kicked up, as well as mud, as he could not stop sliding. Jenga flipped around during his mud skiing, digging his hands into the groung before stopping just short of the tree that marked Kazket's landing. Jenga's back touched the cold wood as his boots had dug a track of straight lines in the ground; it deepened as it approached his stopping point, perhaps 10 inches into the ground at the tree. It was a significant mar in the grounds, and Jenga took a second to emerge from his small groove pits. Kazket was already standing, and Jenga was just as unaware of the victor as he was. Among many things, he was incredibly tired already, a regretful situation that could be easily remedied. He had a tendency to regain his physical energy quickly, keeping a vigilant stamina to athletics. He held up his hand, resting and panting heavily. Kazket was already engaged in the matters at hand, but Jenga knelt down, still panting.

"A moment." He spoke simply, pressing on a clip on the back of his boots. The glimmering steel body split at the heel, loosening the grip around the shinobi's ankles and lower legs. He followed suit with the other boot, before stepping out of the footwear. Jenga picked the boots up and moved closer to the fencing, as if to set them aside. He was barefoot, and more comfortable than he had been in a while.

When Jenga dropped the boots on the ground, an earthy boom let an echo over the soft sound of the rain. The dirt kicked up, as well as considerable amounts of mist and debris from it, a few rocks were kicked into the air. The boots lay in a now half-foot deep crater, created by the weight when dropped; these boots were weighted for training purposes, and they were extremely heavy. Jenga stood over there for a second, stretching his limbs before leaping from the ground, barreling a few times in the air, just his own height over the ground. He was much more limber without the weights that held him to the earth by a few hundred pounds. Jenga had been devoted to training since his entrance into the Academy, focused entirely in Taijutsu for most of the time that he spent there. He walked more casually over to Kazket, the first time he had been barefoot in front of his fellow shinobi. He now lacked the once worn out demeanor he had, nodding towards Kazket. Jenga took a second to let his feet sink into the wet ground, stretching his arms behind him and bending his neck with a bony pop.

"I am ready." Jenga assumed a fighting stance, speaking coolly and comfortably, "I will hone an art of steel." He was uninterested in kicking the tar out of foes with nothing but his limbs. Jenga felt more refined than a barroom brawl would justify... It was entirely his intention to weaponize his fighting style. For now, one of the training bo-staffs would do fine, as the weight mattered none to Jenga.

Kazket stared as the thundering boom set loose dirt and mud into the air. He was taken aback by the impressive restrictions Jenga placed on himself. Kazket had not found himself so dedicated, instead following his own path taking in what knowledge he could. As the muck hit the ground and the remains in the air settled Jenga seemed ready for what ever Kazket could have prepared. Kazket stood for a moment still dumbfounded by the display. He felt inferior with something as simple as his hand sharpening. As he watched the last of the skin intertwine he let out a sigh reaching back to what he had studied nearly an hour or so ago. As he traced over the abilities he had read about he searched for the steps toward the basic cloning jutsu. Perhaps Jenga would enjoy the opportunity to beat the tar out of his companion. Kazket chuckled finding humor in the sentiment. While Jenga stood ready Kazket began to follow suit.

The shinobi spread his feet and took in a deep breath as his mind raced through the steps. He had never successfully completed these techniques in the past only being able to create something incredibly simple and obvious. He began to speed up the circulation of chakra sensing the flow through his body perfecting his image. Waves of energy fell over him before he was even content with the core of his being. For only a moment he stood concentrating his chakra before his self-image began to form. As he took in every detail he could he surged the energy through his hand signs. After a split second a second Kazket appeared in a puff of smoke. A gasp escaped his lips as he turned to face himself. The two move mirroring the other studying their opposite. "Hmmm... I'm not sure I am content with just one, you might tear through him in no time." Kazket gave a grin as he looked over his counterpart. "Now don't be so hard on yourself." The clone replied, "But perhaps a few more will help, think you can do it?" The two grinned staring each other down before falling into stance.

The true Kazket focused attempting to replicate the effects, he hoped a tad more successful this time. A moment was taken as waves of energy flew over his body his mind pressing his abilities as best they could. As the final image fell in place several puffs of smoke appeared providing 4 more clones to fend off Jenga. "Well then... it seems we can begin." The six total Kazkets all took similar posses ready to fight Jenga with all they had. "You can start." One called out with a smile. Kazket was unsure what tactic to take from Jenga, he had never seen him fight before and without those boots it seemed things might be harder than expected. It would require close analyzing of his style before Kazket hoped to put up a worthy fight.

Jenga nodded stiffly as he approached, seeing signs that Kazket was already preparing to test some skills. It was good, because he was without a challenge for a long time. Jenga had rarely found himself engaged in combat situation, rather being avoided by most people than antagonized. However, he was no one to be trifled with, and even a spar in mock would inspire some viciousness from Jenga. He stepped rhythmically towards a rack of staves that was nearby the clearing used for sparring and training. As Jenga faced away from Kazket, who was casting jutsu at his flank, he lifted his mask and licked his finger, stroking the kun-lon bo staffs as if they were alive. Jenga stopped at one, near the center... The consistency of it was perfect, and un-knotted. Jenga replaced his mask before turning around to face Kazket, keeping his methodical footsteps as he approached the fellow Shinobi. Clones.. That was a class that Jenga must have missed; this was no surprise, but it did add an element of challenge to the once casual training phase. Beneath his mask, Jenga was smiling toothily.

Jenga stood in the center of the crowd of monotonous expression. He took a stance, clearly Taijutsu, and span the bo staff rapidly in his right hand. His left hand flattened, creating the "blade" he would use to exert his Chakra through... The Gentle Fist. It was entirely likely that his companion knew nothing about his bloodline, Main-House Hyuuga... It was a symbolic pride, which hid a forehead emblem behind the mask which he wore. The mask served purpose for hiding his crystalline blue eyes as well. Jenga began to question whether or not he would use his endowed dōjutsu... It was training, and he had not even begun to master the abilities of the Byakugan; Jenga would give it everything he had, in training even, to sever the muscles inner and outer. From there, his scar tissue would be his strength, honed through unrealistic effort, through unrelenting ambition. Jenga span the stick just a few times more, starting the movement of his left, empty hand.

"It begins."

He needn't confirm nor illustrate his intentions. Kazket had started the race early, so he had no reason to not take the initiative in this contest. He thrust the bo staff into the air, spinning still like a tossed baton; Jenga immediately struck out in spinning fashion with both hands, both empty now and in the same position. Flattened palm had chakra filtered into it. From the corner of the mask, one might be able to see the vascular trails that inevitably led to his eye. The legendary Byakugan, the all-seeing eye... Chakra came to life like fire all around Jenga. He witnessed the paths, and assessed the energy. The Kage Bunshin was relatively good, with the chakra distributed evenly among the clones. This was regretful, as it gave no indication of the actual ninja using it. Instead, Jenga chose to exert the staff as a distraction, and lash out at two of them at random. If one of them seemed particularly adept at the dodge, he would make it his notion to focus that one... However, if both disappear.. His flank remained open and his moves were untrained. It was likely the results would be messy... However, Jenga was unencumbered and unrelenting. It was his intention to use the Gentle Fist, however the slightly empowered blows that he was currently exerting had not nearly the form to accomplish it. Jenga would push himself until he accomplished the task... For now, it was a matter of picking off clones.

The meticulous selection of the staff drew little of Kazket's attention as he was focusing on his newest success. The mimicking forms all stood ready as they began to focus chakra into their hands. Unsure of the enemy's first moves they began to harden the bones within their hands. The quick preparation was barely in time for Jenga's assault. As the blurred strikes swirled into the front line's vision they made instant contact. Jenga's were unexpected and surprisingly swift. The first clone exploded into puffs of mud and air spreading across the ground. The clones all stepped back readying their jutsu but the second target managed to raise his hardened hands blocking the strike. The sound of the bones colliding gave a hollowed thump. Kazket's eyes grew wide as he realized the clone's bones had almost been... cleaved but the hand did not cut. Kazket was not so well versed in the jutsu of the world more so relying on his natural capabilities. This lack of essential knowledge proved to be a troubling matter.

The second clone exploded out in the previous fashion splashing muck over Jenga's body. The splashing of the goop rang through the sounds of the air releasing. The sound and splashing of muck gave Kazket a brilliant idea. Perhaps I can make use of the clones even past their destruction... I suppose that might be one way. A eerie grin spread across the remaining four Kazkets. The formation quickly took form as a clone ran to either side of the unbound Jenga. The two gathered their chakra into their hands manifesting a more prominent plating of bone growing to a sharpened gauntlet. The two sloppily charged in trying to pinch their target one aiming low the other high.

Standing still were two Kazkets, one in front of the other. The front began stood with his legs spread trying to powerfully focus the chakra of his hands. He cringed pouring energy into his bones as swiftly as he could. He held both claws out the bones slowly enlarging as the jutsu grew to full fruition. The duel clawed Kazket stood for a moment holding the jutsu ready waiting for his opening. Should the flanking clones perish it would be time for the first to leap into action. The final Kazket stood behind the other his eyes closed as he began to channel seals tracing through his memory and analyzing his body.

He knew he would have to perform the hand seals perfectly if he was to accomplish his final junction of the combo he hoped to pan out. He would focus his chakra into ground beneath him drawing a net of energy to manifest the muddy surface. He focused on the ground below spreading his control as best he could. The task proved difficult to focus on the abilities of each clone as well as to complete this jutsu he had never truly perfected. He could not fail, or he risked losing the entire fight. The muck slowly crawled up his body and into his mouth leaving a strange taste but in the end it would be worth it. The texture of the muck nearly pushed Kazket into a daydream thinking of the potential of the grave. A smirk spread from the muck filled maw as he closed his mouth cheeks full of mud. The final hand seal would provide nothing more than a bit of extra entertainment. A simple transformation spread across the clones quickly removing the flesh and meat from the being leaving behind a clacking and terrifying illusion of skeleton remains. The real Kazket watched his skeletal minions dance as he prepared his held his finale between his lips.

Michio descended the wall and stepped onto the muddy streets below, still in his transformation guise, and looked around to see if anyone saw him. Seeing nothing, the Ketsueki began to creep forward, heading down an alleyway that kept him from being seen by most of the population. The ones that did would just shrug him off as one of the orphans who seemed to be running around.

Michio neared the end of the street and looked from the left and to the right, then ducked back into the alley as a pair of Ame-nin ran towards him. 's**t!' he thought, turning and beginning to run. 'Only one way to make it out of this now!'

The Rain Village ninja landed in front of him with incredible speed and Michio came to a screeching halt, sliding in the mud until he landed flat on his a**.

“Going somewhere kid?” one of them asked, and when Michio went to turn and run, he found that there was a third shinobi behind him. He turned back around and frowned up at the shinobi ahead of him.

“I was just heading home....” he lied. The shinobi weren't buying it. Michio could just tell by the look on their faces.

“Kid, we patrol every inch of this village. I've never seen you a day in my life, which means you don't live here, which means you're full of s**t.”

Michio opened his mouth to speak, but the shinobi behind him spoke up first. “Looks like we've got us a little bounty, eh boys?”

Michio's face went pale, even the face of the transformation, and he began to stammer. “I-I-I... I d-don't....”

“You don't get it.” one of them finished for him, taking hold of his arms and latching a pair of handcuffs on Michio's wrists.

“What bounty are you talking about? I didn't do anything!”
he cried, his nine year old voice beginning to crack. Michio forced tears into his eyes and the first shinobi sighed.

“Look kid. It's nothing personal. There's a reward for anyone who turns in children who look orphaned. You're it. Plain and simple.”

Michio was immediately dragged off to the orphanage and placed into their care.

Transformation Check:

Once through the doors of the orphanage, Michio was brought to the den mother of the orphanage and had been brought past all of the kids. A couple of them he recognized and they recognized him in turn. Thankfully, none of them were Takeda. That boy was likely hauled off to another orphanage in a nearby village. He gave them a “Keep your damn mouth shut or else” look as he walked by and was marched right up to the head hen.

“Ma'am, we've got another one for you. Found this street urchin wandering around the streets.” the shinobi who had captured Michio told the woman, and she smiled from ear to ear.

“Well done. I'll be sure this one gets settled in no time.” she said, and the shinobi bowed before unlocking the cuffs and taking his leave.

Once they were alone... well... relatively alone, the woman turned to Michio and gave him a warm smile, but Michio knew better. It was just an act.

“Welcome to the Amegakure Orphanage, young one! I am Shizuru Michiko. What is your name?”

“Uchiha Sasuke.”
he replied without skipping a beat, and the woman frowned.

“Very funny. What is your real name?”

“Sabaku no Gaara.”

At this, the woman's frown turned into a scowl. “Kid, this isn't a joke. Tell me your name! NOW!”

Her ferocity was impressive and Michio had to give her points for trying. But he'd already gone through an entire childhood of this s**t and if he was going to be forced to stay, he wasn't going to make it easy for her.

“Listen lady. All I need from you is a place to sleep. I can hunt my own food, I can fetch my own water. You don't need my name, just like I don't want yours!” he said, pretending to be a defiant little terror as many nine year olds were known to be prone to acting like.

“You will give me your name or I'll have the Amekage see to it that you're put in the dungeons for the rest of your worthless life, you smart-mouthed little brat!” she demanded, and Michio stuck his tongue out at her in response. She slapped him, open palm, across the face and he let himself fall to the ground. He forced tears to his eyes and fake a few sniffles.

“Serves you right. Answer me!” she scolded and demanded, her voice on it's way to be that of a wailing banshee.

“Ketsueki Kuno.” he choked out, sniffling and letting a few tears fall as he rubbed the side of his face that she had slapped.

“Another Ketsueki, huh? Hey look Yahiko! You have a relative here! It's almost like a family already!”
she called to one of the boys, who was struggling to not look at Michio.

“Well, Ketsueki Kuno, I suppose you'll be wanting to join the academy right alongside your cousin over there. Otherwise you'll be stuck here with me all day, washing everyone's clothes. And if you get blood on them to try and make the job go faster, you'll be in lots of trouble. That slap will be nothing compared to what will happen to you if you leave red stains in the bed sheets.”

Michio bit back a retort and simply climbed to his feet, his hand still on his cheek, though it was more out of checking the spot for breaks in the transformation jutsu than anything else.

“Alright boys, listen up! Sundown is in ten hours. Luckily for you, all of the chores have been done for the day, so you get to enjoy the outside air. But keep this in mind; if you run away again, I won't beg the Kage to bring you back alive. I'll just have him set the wolves out. And those dogs don't bring people back alive. Dismissed!”

Michio was the first to run out of the door and into the street, ducking into an alleyway and finding somewhere he wouldn't be seen by anyone. He activated the transformation jutsu again, changing what he looked like to appear as though he were twelve years old. When he was finished, he noticed that Yahiko had somehow followed him and was standing at the end of the alley.

Michio called him over and Yahiko ran to him, ducking the pair out of sight.

“So, you're going to go join the academy, huh?” Michio asked Yahiko and the boy nodded.

“I just felt like I should. It beats being stuck in there with that witch all day.” Yahiko replied and Michio nodded.

“Good idea. Besides, being part of a clan gives you a big step up in comparison to all of the other turds who don't have gifts like us.”

Yahiko nodded again, and Michio motioned for the boy to follow him.

“So.... Kuno, huh?” Yahiko asked as they walked through the back alleys.

“Yeah... name of the Jounin who kept an eye on me when I was in the Sand Village still.” Michio said with a very hushed voice, only speaking loud enough that Yahiko could hear him.

“Why are you whispering?”
Yahiko asked, and Michio shrugged.

“Just paranoid I guess. Never know who's coming for me.” he replied, heading to the academy. If sundown was in ten hours, that meant it was only nine or ten in the morning. Plenty of time for the pair of Ketsueki to join the academy.

'If the whole world knows of my desertion and what I did, then the Rain Village isn't going to let me in. But if they think I'm someone else entirely, like a new academy student, then I have an in.' he thought, hoping that he was right.

Knowing that he was hot on Michio's trail Shinken scaled up the thick wall with great speed. He was so careful not to be seen but he was nearing full combat mode. He had his quarry cornered now. The young Uchiha was able to track his former teammate in the site of a small orphanage. From there he almost lost the trail. He caught a lucky break when he heard a child leaking about how there were two members of the orphanage joining the ninja Academy today. Shinken it thought over in his head. If you are going to integrate yourself into a village this would be the way to do it. It also fit what he understood was Michio's manipulative nature. With that Shinken sneakily made his way toward the ninja Academy darting through dark alleyways and using his cloak to camouflage himself. When he arrived at the Academy he couldn't contain himself any longer.

"Dammit Michio I know you're in there! Come out fighting like a man you snake!" Shinken cried loudly into the open window. He was as ready for this fight as he was ever going to be, and if he was lucky it would be fast enough that he could get out before getting caught. However he didn't think that would be the case he would likely have to get by by the skin of his teeth.

Class was just ending when Michio heard a voice call out his name and challenge him. He frowned and turned slowly to the voice, seeing through the window of the entrace's wall that it was Shinken Katsuna, which matched the voice to the face. He sighed and turned back to the class.

“Chouzu-sensei. Please escort the other children out of here.”

Chouzu, who had been making his way to the gate, stopped dead in his tracks and looked at Michio. “Toshiro, what are you talking about? Other children? What about you?”

Michio smiled and shook his head. “Chouzu-sensei, please don't change. That spark of life you have, the care you put into your students. No matter what you see, don't change. Maybe someday I can make it up to you and you can still teach me how to be a better Ketsueki.”

“Toshiro... what are you talking about?” the Ketsueki academy teacher asked him, but then the realization came over him and his eyes went cold. “You.... you're him, aren't you? That scumbag on the bounty board.”

Michio held true sadness in his eyes. This was the first time he'd been welcomed without conditions and he'd betrayed the man who had taken him in so easily, trusted him so easily. He let the transformation fall and grew to his natural height and appearance, still looking at Chouzu.

“I am. I know you won't believe me, but I really am sorry that I deceived you. I wanted to start over, leave my previous life behind and turn over a new leaf. Little did I know that my previous teammate would follow me this far.”

“I can't believe this... I find someone else who has the same mutation and they turn out to be a damn criminal.”

Michio frowned deeper and looked back to the kids, all of whom except Yahiko were looking at him with fear and alarm. “Chouzu-sensei... the kids. Now. Please. I don't want them to get hurt if this gets more out of hand than I plan it to.”

Chouzu was now glaring at Michio, but nodded. He clearly didn't like it, but the safety of the students was more important than acting on his anger.

“Also, please inform the guards that they should evacuate the surrounding neighborhoods. The less people near what's about to happen, the better.” Michio told the Academy Teacher, but this time he didn't wait for the man's response. He walked to the center of the courtyard and stood, in all of his glory, under the cloud-dimmed sunlight hanging over the village.

“You might as well come in, Shinken. The battlefield is clear and your target is waiting.” he called to his former teammate, a cold look on his face as he prepared for the upcoming skirmish that he would be engaging in.

Perks List:

-Affinity - Fire:
... (No Cost Penalty for using Fire Element Techniques)

-Elemental Bonus – Fire Accuracy (3):
... (+510 to Fire Jutsu Accuracy checks. Must be sustaining a jutsu buff that shares a type with this perk and pay double the sustain cost during the payment phase to gain this buff.)

-Elemental Bonus – Fire Defense (3):
... (Increase your Elemental Defense Bonus with Fire Affinity from +5% to+9% and -5% to -1% )

-Sharingan:
... (+156 to all Dodge Checks, Genjutsu Resistance Checks and Accuracy Checks.
Pay 1560 to Activate and on each Payment Phase. While active the user can copy and use any Jutsu (Can not copy Jutsu from other Bloodlines or Combined Affinity they don't know) that is equal to or lower than [PLx3].)

-Affinity for Fire:
... (+[PL(5)] to all Accuracy and Potency Checks for Fire Affinity Jutsu)

-Buff: Stealth:
... (Unlocks the 'Buff: Stealth' option when creating jutsu. When creating a jutsu with this buff, pick either Transformation, Sneak, or Disguise. For every point spent on this buff, increase the buff by 3. )

-Mastery of Senses:
... (When using a Sight range Genjutsu increase the Accuracy and Potency by your 104 )

-Disperse:
... (When you successfully Counter against a Ninjutsu jutsu by 25% or more, take half of the total damage of the attack and split it evenly between your chakra and stamina as a heal. )

-Mind Control:
... (While this debuff is on a target you may choose to control them during your turn, taking actions with their stats as if they were you. Should you make them attack themselves they get a reflexive check against it. They also get a chance to contest the check during their turn and whenever they must defend, should they fail they can not respond.

Check:
WillPower(x4) + Resistance Buffs vs User's WillPower(x2) + Potency Buffs )

-Reality Check:
... (Mental Damage does not get split between Chakra and Stamina but instead goes straight to Stamina after damage reduction. )

-Chakra Regeneration (4):
... (Regain 2600 Chakra during payment phase. Deactivates when your Chakra is less than 1.)

-Summon:
... (Effect (Base Cost):
The base cost for a summon is 20pts. This brings a summon into existence with an equal amount of stats as you. You may swap these stats around however as long as they are within the same group stat (so you may say, swap strength for agility or willpower for Intelligence, etc).
A summon does not have Chakra or Chakra Focusing. They have Stamina Equal to the level of this Jutsu however and disappear when that Stamina reaches 0 or you run out of Chakra.

While Summoned you may take one turn for your summon and one turn for yourself as if controlling two characters.

For Example: Once you've payed the base cost for your summon if you had, say, 20 Seal Speed and 15 Seal Strength, you could if you wished make the summon have 20 Seal Strength and 15 Seal Speed.

Effect (Enhanced Stats):
Enhanced Stats are just like Stat Buffs but they are always active and may not be turned off without turning off the Summon itself.
Every 1pt you spend grants +2 to any following Sub Stat (Such as Toughness, Strength, Agility, Seal Speed, Seal Strength, Will Power, Intelligence). A summon's stat may never be more then twice your own.
Once your done allotting what bonuses it gets you may move on.

Effect (Jutsu):
Every 10pts you spend your summon may have one of it's own Jutsu (though none may be summon). Each Jutsu is 10 Levels Lower than the summon Jutsu itself.
A summon may have no more than 5 Jutsu, however it may use any (non summon) Jutsu that you know.
Since a Summon has no Chakra activating it's Jutsu does make you, the summoner, have to pay for it's Jutsu.

Effect (Items):
Every 10pts you spend your summon may have one of it's own Items (though none may be an Ally Item). Each Item is 10 Levels lower than the summon Jutsu itself.
A summon may have no more than 3 Items.
---Type: Effect
---Notes:
Ninjutsu Only / Jutsu Only / Neutral Affinity - Treated as if No Corresponding Affinity
Summons may not take any actions the turn they're summoned.
Summon's Item Usages must be refilled like normal items.
If a summon is KO'd during battle it may not be resummoned.
Should a summon be unsummoned and resummoned in the same battle, they will retain the same status as when they left. (If they were debuffed they will still be debuffed, so long as the opponent is still sustaining it.)
Summons must at least be Touch Range.
You may only gain 1 extra turn via having 1 Ally Item, 2 Puppets, or 1 Summon. If you have any of the other effects (an Ally Item or 2 Puppets) active while you have a Summon active, you will need to choose "which" you want to use your second turn on. )

When Shinken heard the voice of his old teammate and his fists clenched tightly. This was it. There was going to be a reckoning, and the matter what happened someone was going to get hurt badly. From somewhere deep inside Shinken psyche a smile formed on his lips as he slipped the Tongshi mask on to his face. He could feel the guardian spirit inside roaring and ready for battle. Oddly Shinken found himself very much looking forward to this fight. He thought he would be scared, or at least concerned, but all he felt was eagerness.

With malice, and purpose Shinken's strode into the Academy. The door flung open in front of him and slammed against the wall. He wanted to announce his presence. He wanted Michio to know he was coming for him. The rush of adrenaline and endorphins was intoxicating. Shinken had been in fights before but never something so serious. He'd always been confident in his abilities. But this time there was a very real risk of being named or even worse being killed. For some reason whether it was the idea of grinding Michio to the ground, or some false sense of bravado Shinken didn't care.

" Michio… Michio I'm coming for you. The devil is coming for you. Are you ready to experience hell again?" Shinken said in a hauntingly sadistic voice. The young Uchiha slowly checked each individual room. He would kick open the door scan the room for any signs of life, and what he found none he would move to the next room. The tension was unbearable, and with each room he searched Shinken grew more and more impatient. He wanted justice. He wanted to make Michio suffer for his trickery and betrayal.

The young Genin felt much like an apex predator stalking its prey. Despite the fact that his prey might very well be the end of him. Michio's capabilities were no joke. Shinken knew that from experience. While he had never truly seen Michio fight in his full power, what he had accomplished spoke for itself. There were plenty of times where he was outgunned, or at least should've been and came out on top. Shinken knew of he was careless Michio could get the drop on him. So each time he searched the room he made sure that he was ready to attack, or at least defend himself.

" Michio where are you? Are you hiding from me? You know it won't do you any good." Shinken growled in the same disturbingly sadistic voice. That was when he kicked open the door to the room that contained his target. Underneath the mask there was a horrible smile on Shinken's face.

" There you are. It's time to pay for your sins." Shinken said sounding oddly calm yet satisfied.

Shinken laughed as he looked Michio dead in the eyes. He knew that this would be the deciding moment of their relationship. He began to charge chakra it was gauntlets creating a feedback loop of ever-increasing power. The flames of hate burned bright in his eyes behind the mask. He was going to put this man through hell. By the time Shinken was done Michio would be a shambling shell of his former self.

"Well Michio it's time to face your fate. You should've known this was coming. A traitorous snake like you always ends up in a trap. You've got nowhere to go, and I'm going to savor every moment of this." Shinken growled as he licked his lips. He could feel the spirit within the mask clawing to get out. Soon he would unleash the full fury of the guardian spirit, along with his own wrath upon his former teammate.

The chakra began to seep out of the arm guards and into Shinken's actual flesh. The young Uchiha began to form hand seals faster than the eye could see. An almost ethereal pair of arms extended out. The wispy smoke of the arms began to form seals as well. Soon after Shinken's own hand seals began to look like flickering flames. As he did this the young Genin also reached out with his seventh sense feeling Michio's chakra predicting where his next movement would be.

"Hear the screams of the damned Michio. They call for you to join them." Shinken said holding back a sinister laugh. Suddenly all the chakra that he had built up in his arm guards was unleashed through Shinken's voice. The genjutsu that would assault Michio senses was one of screaming of 1000 damned souls. Would cause his ears to bleed a as insanity slowly crept into his mind.
