Haruki was still dashing for it, there was nothing in his way at all. This had been easier than he originally thought! Prehaps his past was extremely nice and filled with candy since he was so lucky.

Haruki was so close, but the world seemed to be against him now. He screamed mentally since doing so out loud would cause a huge problem. "I'm...gonna...make it..." He said silently before curling in to a ball to keep away the frost. He needed a moment to rest.

When that same giant that'd been helping Haruki passed by his curled up body he looked concerned, Haruki just gave him another smile, even if he felt frozen. The giant helped him the rest of the way up to his goal and Haruki thanked him, looking back down at the path he'd taken. "Hey! Flower! Come on!" Haruki said before waving goodbye to his giant friend who had somewhere else to be. "Just follow the path that I took!" Since he was finished Flower wouldn't have to find another way up, besides, she could fly.

Feather's head poked out of the cave that the path Haruki was standing on led to and answered teasingly, "I'm here silly!" as she stuck out her tongue. While Haruki had been freezing in blizzards and going around in circles, the girl had simply flown up with Sora. Even with all the detours the girl made to explore while going up, she had still managed to get up some time before Haruki and take a look around the cave before he reached the top. "Come on, there's a mirror in the cave," the girl quickly waved her friend over as she energetically dashed back into the cave, "and something's written on it. It's really cool!".
(OOC: Heh, completely plausible since it's not like Haruki is able to see the base of the mountain xp .)

"Huh? Oh...I knew that!" Haruki said before looking at the mirror, it felt like it was calling him. "What's this...?" Haruki touched the mirror and read the inscription. "Mirror mirror on the wall, is my quest nearest at all?" He laughed at the line and continued. "Door door at Turnback, little one's answer is at their bac--" Haruki fell over for as soon as he finished he felt the mountain tremble. He looked outside and blinked once. "Cool!" He said cheerfully before racing off to finish this quest.[/exit]

Feather would have immediately raced out with Haruki if Sora hadn't tugged her back a bit. {Be careful, there are monsters,} the summon warned before releasing his summoner. Feather nodded and quickly ran out, readying herself to yell something.

The shaking and the weird sensation stopped. Sora hopped onto Feather's shoulder as she ran to the mouth of the cave and peeked out. She was looking straight into a large, blue expanse of sky. Far below her, she could hear the sound of waves. They were back on the Turnback Mountain they had landed on.
Sora returned to Haruki and flew out of the cave with him. He flew straight, quickly leaving the slope of the mountain behind. Then, followed a quick diving descent to the ground. After finishing his task of bringing Haruki safely to the boats, Sora dropped him abruptly (and rudely) on the sand. Obviously, the creature still didn't much like the kid.
Feather followed a similar pattern, getting herself as far away from the mountain as she could with spouts of air and then allowing her body to free-fall at a controlled speed. To keep herself away from the side of the mountain, she would use occasional spouts of wind. Once more, upon reaching her landing point, the girl created another air spout to cushion her fall and she landed safely.

"Owie..." Haruki sighed, he didn't know what he did wrong, sure his emotions went a little crazy, but he had control now, he at least expected Sora to be a little nicer. Haruki was just about to say something about that after he stood up, but the shaking of the ground made him fall. "Wh-what was that...?" Haruki asked in a frightened voice before a monolithic red dragon rose from the ground, from right under Haruki. He hung on to one of its horns and started crying out of fear. "H-help me!" After just talking about standing on his own too...[1/30]

was Sora's thought as Haruki screamed for help. He wasn't going to give the Kiranu any leeway, even if that leeway involved a gigantic dragon.
Feather's thoughts, were in a completely different direction, as she sounded out an amazed and happy, "Uwah! Haruki, I want to try next! I want to try next!". The girl was bursting with excitement as she jumped up and down and waved both hands in the air.

"I-it's not as fun as it looks!" Haruki felt like he was going to be sick, he was too high in the air. Eventually the beast shook Haruki off its horns, but he wasn't exactly willing to go splat on the ground below so he ran forward as the huge beast took flight, it was large enough to allow Haruki to run on it forever, he had to admit that was pretty amazing. If he just didn't focus on how high they were flying right now he'd be fine.[2/30] "Why are you after me?! What did I do?!" Haruki asked the dragon and he hung on to the spines on its back. The dragon didn't answer, which disappointed Haruki, he thought he'd at least be able to reason with it. Apparently not, with a swift movement he was thrown in to the air again, as he fell he just barely sunk his claws in to the dragon's scales, he was alright for now.[3/30] Haruki finally climbed back up on to its back, he decided running all the way back there was a stupid idea, if he was going to survive then he'd stay at the head. With the winds challenging him as he clawed his way back up to the top and dropped down in front of the dragon, he still wanted to know why it wasnted to kill him. It started swinging its head back and forth, trying to throw the kiranu down to the ground below, and Haruki still didn't want that to happen, he refused to become a pancake.[4/30] Haruki actually tried to punch the thing a few times and only ended up hurting his own hand. "What are you even supposed to be?!" Haruki asked, trying to scream louder than the wind. "The Elder Dragon Lord." The beast finally replied, its loud booming voice caused Haruki to cover his ears, he was right up at its head so it hurt to hear what it said, Feather was lucky to be on the ground right now. "Fighting dragons was never in any manual..."[5/30]

Feather, meanwhile, was still excited about the appearance of the cute (yes, cute) dragon. Besides, she wasn't supposed to be able to hear anything that Haruhi said. Although, she was allowed to hear what the dragon said.
{Hm, the Elder Dragon Lord?} Sora thought to himself and Feather.
The girl asked the knowledgeable guardian, {You know him?}.
{Not really, but I've heard about her. Despite the title, the lord is a female,} Sora's explanation began, {She is known as Ignis and is the protector of Yuran. At least, in history books she is.} It was at times like this that it became apparent he was much older and much more knowledgeable than Tsubasa.
Meanwhile, as the two were discussing very calmly, Haruki was probably struggling with Ignis in the air. It seemed that they had come to an unknown consensus that Ignis probably wasn't going to harm him too seriously as she was the protector of Yuran and Haruki was the current king. Although, as a precaution, Sora did ask (on Tsubasa's behalf of course), {'Excuse me, Mr. Elder Dragon Lord, can I be friends with you? Oh, also, can you not hurt Haruki either? He's my friend too,' is what my summoner asks.}

Ignis was silent for a little while before directing her course toward the ground, Haruki held on as tightly as possible, trying not to be plowed in to the sand. When Ignis finally reached the ground Haruki scaled down her face, still shaken, he felt as though she was still going to attack him. "This...boy is corrupted, for the safety of Yuran he must die." Haruki's eyes widened then he attempted to speak to Ignis too. "W-wait! You got it wrong! It's not corruption!"[6/30] "Talking won't solve anything." Ignis rushed at Haruki, but he was prepared all this time for her to try to kill him again. "You can't do this!" Haruki knew he'd never win on the ground since he was too weak to fight Ignis alone, even if Feather decided to help it still would amount to nothing. "And...talking can solve something!" After Haruki said that Ignis stopped moving, she was laughing at what he just said.[7/30] "Explain." Ignis ordered, not saying much more than that. Haruki nodded before opening up about his journey here, if it didn't stop her from attacking him at least it'd keep her distracted. "I wasn't corrupted by anything, whatever you say before was...my emotions." Haruki guessed that didn't make sense. "Explain." Ignis said again, he guessed he didn't make it clear enough yet.[8/30] "I...uhm...came here to control my emotions, and they went kind of wild...it wasn't me doing anything evil." Ignis stared at Haruki, he felt like his soul was being drilled in to, he didn't like the feeling. "Erm...so...will you let me go?" Haruki asked. "No."[9/30] "Well if you're going to kill me can I at least know your name first?" Haruki asked. "Ignis." She replied, Haruki looked genuinely impressed now. "You're Ignis?! Wow! My mommy used to read me stories about you all the time! You're not even always a dragon, right? You're a draconian!" If Haruki couldn't win through strength then there were other ways, maybe he could come to an agreement with Ignis, maybe they could work together. Ignis went silent after hearing what Haruki said, she was confused. Haruki himself knew a lot of legends and old stories, but only the fanciful ones. "This boy is a companion of your's, creature?" Ignis asked Sora, not knowing that it wasn't Sora who wanted to say that.[10/30]

Sora thought to himself as he hung on Feather's shoulder.
Feather, meanwhile, continued to stare at the dragon in awe. She really, really wanted to play with it, but Sora kept telling her not to so she didn't.
When he was addressed Sora replied promptly and only to Ignis, {I wish he wasn't, but as he hangs out with one I'm entrusted to protect, I have no choice but to accept him as a companion.}

"Give me a reason to spare you, child." Haruki thought for a second, he didn't really know any reasons besides the fact he liked living. "Well...erm...I'm the king of Yuran so I think a lot of people would be sad if I died..." Ignis laughed again, the sound insulting Haruki. "Of all people, you?! What a joke!" Haruki crossed his arms, what was so hard to believe about that?[11/30] "Ah...anyway, could I ask you a favor Ms. Ignis?" Haruki was guessing Ignis would not help them, but it was always worth a shot. "What is it you want, 'king'?" Haruki tried to keep himself calm, she was still insulting him when he hadn't done anything to her. "Uhm...could you take us back to Pronta?" Haruki asked, hoping for a yes. "No." Haruki sighed. "Please?"[12/30] Haruki continued to go back and forth with Ignis, neither one of them really getting anywhere while talking to each other. Haruki wondered if he was crazy, but he felt a bond forming between him and Ignis, it was probably just his imagination. He simply continued to sit there and talk to Ignis, seeing if this could get him somewhere.[13/30] Haruki tried not to fall asleep while talking to Ignis, her voice sounded like it had hundreds of years of knowledge within, but that bored him to no end. He finally worked up the courage to speak again, he didn't know why it was difficult speaking to her, it was just like when he met new people, but she was no person...at least he thought.[14/30] "Can I speak to you in your draconian form?" Haruki asked curiously, he himself had seen more than enough of her dragon form to last his entire life. "You're that interested in me, boy? Very well..." Haruki was instantly awake again, he wondered what she could possibly look like, he didn't know she was female though so in his mind he envisioned a male knight.[15/30]
