I could never be a government official... I couldn't serve a government that I don't believe in.

We allow these politicians to abuse their power day in and day out and I just can't stand behind a people that would allow that to happen nor can I support the politicians. Also, media distorts our views of what is real and what is make believe to such an extent that we don't know up from down. I can't stand behind our government and can't listen to our media... I just can't stand the USA and that is why I am moving to Scotland when I get the money to.

I am kinda yes and kinda no on that subject myself.......Raises flat hand and does a sort of so-so hand movment. ^8^
I really have problems with a lot of Gov. things and then something were okay..............but were done for completely for the money/greed or the needless injury of a group or ethnicity of people.

Theres really not much we as normal citizens can do to stop it. The corruption is to entwined with it. I thought about getting into it to try and help the state but its not worth lousing myself...
Youcan love your country without loving what the government does. Its like how you say you support out troops but not the war.

There is a huge difference between the troops and government officials, though. Our troops don't realize what they are really signing up for and our government officials know perfectly well what they are doing and still choose to do it. The only choices that you have when you are in the military are do what you are told or go to the brig. When you are a government official you have every right to just bow out or be removed without going to jail.

Theyknow whatthere getting into when thy enlist.Thats just a life for some ppl. The militaryand the politics of out govt. arecompletly diffrent.

A person never realizes how screwed up our government is or working in the military is until they enlist. I have known many marines in my lifetime who all said the exact same thing.

Still rainy, little bit of storms but nothing dangerious so far, had to do my shopping in the rain but not any real problems with that to muc either. 3nodding
