Aside from rolling her eyes, Nitya decided not to even grace a comment to the hey you portion of Drang's speech. Her speculative look was for the question about her name.
"Hmmm. I've always thought it meant something like enduring. Like no matter what gets thrown at me, I'll still be standing. Death aside, of course," she amended, nodding her head as though in silent acknowledgment to the grim reaper.
"It's up for interpretation, of course."

Drang smirked at the eyeroll. "Enduring, huh? Not always a very positive word...so I suppose that works. Death...well, there's no cheating death out of his lot I suppose. I don't honestly know why anyone would want to, either." Drang fell into a brooding silence for a bit before snapping back to the here and now. He eyed the female.
"So, miss Enduring Warrior. What do you do for fun?" Drang asked, bored with the name thing now. There was only so much discussion to be had over syllables. "Ever do anything naughty? Or are you as straitlaced as you seem sometimes?" Drang supposed the running away and getting wounded thing was probably her one big disobedience...and since that didn't go over well she probably hadn't had much fun since. Then again, he could be wrong. Either way he was going to get her to help him with something.

Nitya's eyelids lowered and she gave Drang a side-long glance. It was almost.....indecently flirtacious. She had at least three father figures (two being actual fathers) that would most certainly do a double-take, and then snarl at Drang and start rambling off threats about bringing any kind of harm to their precious baby girl. From siblings and tribe members she would certainly get raised eyebrows, at the least.
"Well, that would depend on your definition of fun," Nitya responded, not giving much more by way of answer. Yasashii wasn't exactly an ideal place for strenuous games, what with young, old, and sick everywhere, but that didn't mean Nitya was capable of making up games she could play by herself. Skills like those her uncle taught needed constant upkeep, less one become stale and lose their edge.

Drang gave a small smirk in response to her glance and lazily waved his tail behind him. He'd gotten suspicious looks before and he could only assume this one had something to do with his double entendre.
"Well, I'm definitely not talking about little kit games like tag. Fun, and even useful, as they are, I was thinking more along the lines of getting into trouble: pranks, jokes, the like." Drang explained. "Probably not, right? Wouldn't want to upset your father or uncle." He raised an eyebrow in challenge.

Now Nitya actually laughed, the sound a bit thin as though it would have some real volume and a touch gravely, but a cheerful laugh nonetheless. "I grew up with two sisters, three brothers, and a slightly demented uncle, oh Infuriating One," she said in a teasing voice. "If that's not a potent enough mix for cause to get into trouble, I would think it's as close as you could get!"
She glanced around at their surroundings, then looked back at Drang and raised an eyebrow significantly. "Just what kind of pranks or jokes could I get up to out here, though. The tribe sometimes plays games together, but my fun alone consists mostly of stalking game and leaping out to startle them rather than hunt." She tilted her head slightly. "It's actually amusing watching birds cluck their silly heads off and waddle away as fast as they can."

Birds? Drang tried amazingly hard to keep the 'you're a little crazy aren't you?' look off his face. After all, not everyone had a sister to torment and be tormented by. She'd obviously gotten in trouble though, one only had to hear her speak to know she'd gotten into something. It was if she had done anything since the accident...and he wasn't sure if she was alluding to before she got in trouble or after.
"I'm sure it is amusing to see that. However, I think we should play a prank on someone else instead. There's this female in the forest I have to find. She walked away in a snit and doesn't have the brains to stay under cover during a storm. I was thinking we could track her down and well, tick her off."

For once Nitya was actually keeping up with Drang's mutterings. "Your sister, right," she asked. She thought about it for a moment, then grinned. "It has promise. Maybe you should do any interactive parts of the prank though. I almost had my throat ripped out once before, I prefer not to tempt my luck."

Drang snorted. Like he was going to let his sister hurt the female when the prank was his idea. "Well, come on. I'll tell you the prank along the way."

Nitya rolled her eyes. It seemed like a nonverbal conversation was taking place behind the verbal one. She interpretted the snort as a hint of disgust that anyone would get hurt in this master scheme unless he planned it like that.
"It better not be too far off. If I have to be gone for more than a couple days I gotta let my Elder know," she said.

*sure, we can get to page 6 if you want ^_^*
"I don't know how far off she is, but I wont take you for more than a couple of days. Since it is already passed noon, you may need to stay out for the night. If we can't find her by the end of tomorrow, though, you can go back and check in with your elder like a good little girl." Drang said with a smirk, flicking his tail.
"Sturm shouldn't be too far off, though. We only parted this morning and the storm would have slowed her down." Drang took a step towards her and looked over her shoulder. "I do know she went in the direction we cam from, however."

Nitya rolled her eyes. "Tch, dummy. I vanish for a couple days all the time, and I don't need to have my sister hold my hand and give me permission," she said, bumping Drang's shoulder in a rough and playful manner. "I only worry about checking in cause I've got a psychotic family that would tear through hill and heather looking for me if I vanished for too long without word. I like the landscape as it is."
It probably wasn't much of an exageration, either. She was one of Uncle Sin's favorites, and he would probably search for her all the way to hell and back. Didn't help that her Daddy and Father were his favorite little brother, and his adopted son. It would just make him more determined...

"You're the one who mentioned it, you contradictory female." Drang grumbled at her good naturedly, swatting at her with his tail. "And your family doesn't worry me. I've stayed alive this long, a couple of meddling foxes are not going to get me." Drang said with all the confidence in the world.
Not that it wasn't earned. Raising himself and Sturm, fighting off any enemy they had come across. And of course there was the fact that they always faught together. Very few things frightened Drang when he knew Sturm had his back.

"That's me, contradictory," Nitya said cheerfully, not at all repentant. She knew she seemed like that, since she flipflopped back and forth between issues. So she liked to get all the little details straight, she wasn't the only fox like that. And if she'd had all the details before, maybe she wouldn't have this scar across her throat...
"Hmmmm. Tell you what. Next time we hold a family gettogether I'll invite you. After I see how you and my Uncle interact, I'll either give you a well-deserved I-told-you-so or let you lord it over me that you weren't exaggerating about looking after yourself."

"You shouldn't wish that on your family, little warrior. I hardly fight fair." Drang pointed out. "Then again, maybe we'll get along so well, you'll wish you hadn't wished it on yourself." Hell, it could happen; a .000000001% chance was still a chance.
He trotted off in the direction they had come until they got back to the clearing they had met in. "Alright let's see." The rain had washed away all trace of his sister, but Drang had other ways of tracking her. As her twin, he knew basically what she would do. "This way, Nitya."

Nitya rolled her eyes, but had a tiny smile on her face. Wish it on her family? Deities, her uncle would probably pull her aside and give her a big heap of thanks. Uncle Sin was mostly better about killing, but he still did love a good fight when he had the chance.
"Right. I won't hold my breath if it's all the same to you though," she responded cheekily, following after Drang.
