Oh, they were trying to gang up on the little kid.
Bastards. At least their aim sucked. Good thing it wasn't only his aim that sucked.
Themis would have none of this - his next snowball was aimed right for Sassolite again.

Chaonis hadn't ducked so much as luckily dropped his head in time to hear a snowball go whizzing over it. He looked up, surprised, and then spotted the culprit as she was pulling back her arm. He grabbed a handful of snow, crunching it together in something closer to a snowglob than a ball, and lobbed it at Sassolite in revenge.

Petalite picked up her extra big snowball when she was satisfied with it, patting down the snow around it's edges. Popping up from behind her snowbank she had to use both hands to lob it at Sailor Maia. She was going to be pissed if it didn't hit her, she worked hard on that snowball.

Sassolite got hit! Damn it she got hit! She couldn't throw to save her life but she got hit. Well she wasn't having that. She summoned her weapon and shot an arrow towards Themis. She wasn't bothered whether it hit but she threw a snowball towards Themis as well in hope that one of the two things she threw at him would hit.
Then she would get the kid. They seemed to want to protect her and she wasn't sure why, if the kid was a senshi then surely she should be able to defend herself? Well she was willing to turn this into more of a fight now.

Whoops. His luck with hitting Petalite on the first try did not last when it came to hitting Selenite. The senshi of summer realized this just as soon as he got up from the ice cold snow. Bits of it clung to his bare stomach, dripping perilously close to his beltline. Neso wiped them away.
After dipping to grab another snowball, he dashed out a few more paces and shouted at Selenite, "You don't hit kids, man!" And then tried to hit her again.

Maia made a mad dash away from her little hiding place and headed for a familiar senshi, with a caution tap bow. She dogded snowballs coming from every which angle and slid to a stop right next to Chaonis with a shiver.
"Hi," she said simply, before forming another snowball and tossing it at Sassolite.

[Sleep and go to work and the competition explodes!!]
Spinel generally started his patrol in the park. No real reason, just convenience; it was close to Sovereign, and had plenty of cover to henshin up. He did wish that he had a less... flashy transformation sequence. Maybe something closer to an officer's, as opposed to a senshi's, with the sparkles and all. It was emasculating and just rather impractical.
He hadn't exactly expected to find a snow war going on between senshi and negaversers. You'd think they'd be actually fighting, going for starseeds, but--but it was the first snow of the season, and even Spinel could see a use in unwinding. Maybe it wasn't a Christmas truce, but... He balled up a clump of snow, packing it tight and aiming at the first buttbow he saw. There was a momentary twinge of guilt when he saw it was a little girl, but, well.

Sass wasn't having this! She got her arrows and shot them towards where Maia and Chaonis were hiding, whether they hit either of them, she didn't care but she wanted to make sure that they realised it was a fight, not just a fun snowball fight.
She then threw the snowball at Maia She really didn't like getting hit by snowballs, especially thrown by stupid senshi!

It seemed like extra big snowballs didn't fly quite as far as normal ones. Cursing Petalite ducked back down summoning her Frisbee, she was tempted to go and physically attack the redhead but that probably wouldn't be such a good idea when her fingers were numb. Letting the Frisbee disappear she began to rub her hands together, blowing hot air on them.
When she looked up from the snowbank again the red headed senshi wasn't where she had been. Growling she searched out a new target. It didn't take her too long to see Chaonis, unfortunately not spotting Maia next to him. Packing together a snowball she threw it at Chaonis hoping it was more accurate than her last one.

SPLAT! Maia got hit right in the breast with a snowball. She threw a glare at the other red-head. It was on, if that was how she wanted to play it. Maia started gathering up snow to make the largest snowball she could still throw.
When she was finished, it was going to be like be it by a cannon ball. Oh it would be very funny, to see the look on the other's face.

Arrows! That was not cool. Too bad Chaonis couldn't use his attack, he'd get her back for that. Or could he?
If he used his attack, chances were good that when it backfired and expelled its energy, as it always did, it would be an issue for everyone present, not just the Negaversers. He would have to wait, if things got more heated, because he didn't want to drag everyone else down.
Well, he would, but only if he had to. They were all pretty strong, right? He'd give his team warning or something. If he had to. Maybe.
He made another snowball and threw it at Sassolite again, as hard as he could after crunching it together tightly. And yet even as he did that another snowball went sailing by him.
Oh, it was on, whoever that was.

"Then get the kid out of here," Selenite snapped at Neso as his snowball went right past her. "Perfectly valid target." This was utterly ridiculous. If the kid was a senshi, then damnit the kid was setting herself up to be attacked.
So ridiculous. To drive the point home, she threw another snowball at Hugbell.

Sass had hit!! She actually hit the girl! She clearly upset the boy though with the arrows as he seemed to be throwing snowballs at her, though he missed so she just stuck her tongue out at him. She wanted to go attack the kid - yes she was an odd one.
Moving away from Maia and Chaonis she headed towards Themis and Hugbell again. They all seemed to be pairing up she noticed. Could senshi not work on their owns? How sad.
She scooped up a large handful of snow and chucked it at Hugbell who if she possibly hadn't been a senshi she might have felt a little sorry for. All Sass could work out is that the senshi had to be struggling big time if they were recruiting little kids.
