the group ran out of the door into the castles interior.
"How the hell are we going to find her?" Rya said
"We have to think of the one place we were never allowed to be." melvin barked, half dazed from the rave stick.
"But, i've been in every room, and ive never seen anything too suspicious" Kake replied
Suddenly, Melvin stopped and listened carefully.
"I heard some one crying! This way!"
They followed him over to a large bookcase.
"here"
Rya blasted the bookcase open using her magic wand.
a hole appeared in the wall, leading down to a dark abismal place. The entire group could hear a girl crying. A voice that some hadn't heard in three years.
They all decended, one after the other. Nervous for what waited for them.

A girl and Neko-Chan laid at the bottom of the stairs. "KOHAKU!" Everyone screamed with delight!!! Melvin and Kim unchained the two of them and helped them up. "Thank you all,for everything. Where's Akuma?" Kohaku looked around the room. Neko-Chan winced and asked the same question. "Where is he?" Rya spoke slowly "With the impostor,ma'am. Word has it they're headed northern." Kohaku didn't hesitate, "Then,let's go!"
Naoki's breathing started to get slower and slower. "You're not going before me!" Envy shouted to her. "Well,then I guess I loose. I'll see you maybe in a few hundred years,then." She grinned and closed her eyes. Envy let frustrated tears roll down his cheeks as he ripped through his chest. Grabbing a part of the Philosopher's Stone,it liquidized. He dropped the liquid into Naoki's fresh wounds. Crying out in agony,she tried to bare the Philosopher's Stone wrath. Blood shot from her onto the walls,finally falling asleep.

The group helped kohaku (who had been imprisioned for three years) up the stairs carefully.
"milady," melvin started ,"i dont think its very wise to go after them tonights. you have been trapped down there so long, and you dont look like you can even walk"
"Wise as ever melvin. Im very proud of how you turned out, as i am with all of you."
Kohaku stopped suddenly.
"where's shiny? i want to give my sister a big hug"
they all looked away, she saw the sadness on their faces.
"oh, i understand... where is naoki."
They looked even sadder
"take me to her...NOW!"
without hesitating, melvin picked her up, and they all ran to the bedroom.

Breathing heavy,Naoki got up. She looked into the mirror and saw it-A homunculus tattoo right on her stomach. "H-How?" Naoki turned to Envy,who was sitting on the ground with a total "BAKA" smile. The door was then busted down and the group ran in,Melvin running smack into her. Instead of Naoki falling,Melvin flew right to the ground. Envy grinned even wider while laughing.

"naoki?" kohaku entered the room weakly. she was covered in dirt, with her dark brown hair unevenly cut and caked in mud. She had scratches and bruises all over. She was also extremley thin, wearing little more than a large tattered shirt. Naoki only recognized her after seeing her bright blood red eyes
"sister?!"
she ran over and glomped kohaku, pushing melvin aside.
"you're squeezing... too... tightly. Like always."
envy looked confused. he had never seen this kohaku. she saw him, and looked very intensley at him.
"naoki... exactly...what is he?"
nobody had ever botheres to ask what envy was. all they knew was that he was the results of naoki trying to make an artificial soldier, and they had no idea how he had come to be.
"and naoki... what is that mark on your stomach?"
envy grinned
naoki started to explain the story of envy-

Naoki sighed and started to tell Envy's tale. "Two years back,I found out what Alchemy was. The science of constructing and reconstructing matter. I came across a page labeled 'Homunculus.' A man-made human. If you applied the Philosopher's Stone with souls,a homunculus could be made. Homunculi can not be killed easily,so I thought they'd be a good idea to use as soldiers. I mixed my own blood into the stone,creating Envy." Envy nodded his head and hugged Naoki. "The mark on her stomach," He began to say "is the homunculus sign." He pointed to his left leg.

"naoki was close to death...so..I.. took out part of the stone, liquified it, and saved her life."
"but... now what happened to naoki?" melvin asked with an 'im gonna kill you if you hurt her' look in his eyes.

"That impostor sliced her countless times," (Apparently he liked saying how he saved her life over & over again.) He clenched his teeth angrily. "and Naoki almost died. As for her transformation,the stone seeped into her flesh,destroyed her organs and turned her into a homunculus." Envy laughed and kissed Naoki's cheek. He flashed a look at Melvin. "I'm the reason she's still alive. That's more than you've even done for her!" Envy punched Melvin in the face and kissed Naoki on the lips this time.

kohaku looked happy, yet sad at how badly naoki was hurt. and also how many experiences she had missed while she was locked up. she started to sob.
everybody, even melvin (who had a pretty bad nosebleed) gathered around her and lifted her to her feet.
they all started preparing to head out in the morning. Naoki helped pick out outfits for everyone, and kohaku was the one assigning group positions.
first was rya. her adorable robe was tattered from the battle. naoki quickly fashioned (she knew how to enchant clothing) an adorable light-blue dress with rya's name on the front. it had thigh-high white boots and white long sleeves. On top of her head was a witch's hat. Her outfit was enchanted to defend against direct blows, seeing as how her abilities had to do with long-range spells and summoning.
naoki then gave lisa a new dress. it was red and frilly, and came with many bows adorned on the front. It had knee-high socks and shorts under it (for modesty) lisa's dess was made to be modest and adorable. Lisa was the one selected to be the distraction, seeing as how she could easily transform and get away unharmed.
kake got a new kimono that allowed for eaier movement. It still had waffles on it. Kake was the team's swordsmaster, and was told to not eat her sword this time.
Next was melvin. Naoki handed him a 'steve cloak' reluctantly. It was enchanted to allow invisibility. Melvin was the group's sentry, and was to defend the back.
Naoki gave envy a new outfit. It looked almost the same as the one he had before, except it had his name sewn in it with a heart. He was to be sdtationed in the front of the party, as he was the fastest and best with his senses.
next was neko-chan. Her oufit was changed from a formal kimono, to a hakama and tank top. since she had no battle experience, she was assigned as the healer.
naoki took one look at herself and realized that she'd need a new outfit as well. She quickly fashioned an outfit that made envy drool. it was a tight long-sleeved shirt with nothing on bottom but undies. She wore thigh-high boots and had the homunculous symbol on her top. naoki was given the role of protecting kohaku
kohaku's role was strategy, seeing as she was weak and feeble. noki dressed her in -

A orange and pink kimono with slits on the shoulders and wrist spots. In the back was a giant orange,lacey bow. The front had the symbol of faith and love on it in many different shades of pink,orange and red. When everyone was fitted and dressed,they took a nights' rest. For in the morning they'd be heading northern.

to the north sat a small, black cave
there were many horrible beasts guarding it. many UNHOLY things
"What's wrong baby? Why won't you talk to me?"
akuma stared froward, silent.
"why dont you remember me? remember, we were engaged?"
kagehime had transformed back into kohaku, and was trying to seduce akuma
"maybe it's because, you don't remember me at all"
"what are you saying? I've never met anyone so foul as to kidnap someone as somebody else, and try to marry them. And, I dont even remember Kohaku anyways."
"what are you saying darling?" she said with and evil smirk
"cant you remember your own fiance? Or, did you need to forget how she 'betrayed' you?"
"I seriously have no idea what you are talking about!" Akuma looked extremley confused and clueless.
Kagehime grunted "FINE!! you're no fun anyways. all i need is to kiss you, and your power will be all mine. But... not till tomorrow. I want you to see me kill both of your love interests."
she laughed evily. Akuma sat, confused.
'why cant i remember anything about her? Why cant I?'
he thought.
the sun shone over the castle walls.
morning
the group woke up, and got prepared.
"today, we rescue our frined, and set this villiage free!' Kohaku shouted
they got into formation

and headed north

Envy heaved a heavy sigh,he wanted to be teamed up with Naoki. But with all the others around,it would stupid to start a fight. "WAFFLES!" Kake screamed and headed in her position. Kohaku and Naoki followed,the others were already in place. The group was to head north,not just north. The North Pole.
"What was it like?" Naoki asked Kohaku. "Being locked up? Devastating,lonely and painful." Naoki hugged her sissy and gave her a grateful squeeze. "Well,you're back and that's all that matters!"

"it sucked being in the dungeon." kohaku started
"she'd come down every day to tell me how much fun my life was. At first, it really hurt me, but after three years, i kinda got used to it. She only gave me minimal amounts of food and clothing. Every time she had any fun, or did somthing to ruin my reputaion, she'd tell me in detail exactly how."
They all looked astonished by how happy kohaku had remained through it all.
"thanks for rescuing me everyone"
kohaku said the last statement, holding back tears.
the group all stopped for the night, catching kohaku up on all the things going on in the world.
suddenly a girl walked into their camp and collapsed.
"SHINY!!!!!!" naoki and kake screamed at the top of their lungs.
they all rushed over to help her.

A chubby penguin was following Shiny and stayed at her side. "Hey,I made it!" Shiny looked like she had been in something's digestive track. Everyone had a sick look on their faces now knowing how she had survived. Kake and Naoki picked her up and carried her into a tent. "Neko-Chan,do what you can." They told her. Kohaku happily limped over with the help of Melvin and Lisa. Shiny had just got to sleep,so no one wanted to wake her. "Let her rest,she'll need her strength." "So" Naoki said. "Who wants to set up the rest of camp?"
