"Bu' I want mah toys. Cristofer taked me to the toy store to get 'em, but they putted them up there, so I can'ts play wif' em." Tobi frowned, but allowed Jason to pull him down in front of the fire. "I cold all th'time, hasn't gotten sick yet." He rolled his eyes a little, but made no effort to get up again.

"I can get 'em." Jason smiled more, "Yew just stay here an get warm, okies?" he asked with a nod before turning and heading off to the glass case that held the figurines. Standing on his tiptoes, he grabbed the side of the case and tried to peer in, but failed. Pouting, the boy looked around the room, trying to find something he could stand on. His eyes fell onto a white ottoman that seemed to be part of the couch set, that would do.
Running over to the large white ottoman, he got behind it and started to push it to the case. "Mooooovee.." he whined as he moved it over the slick wooden floor, his bare feet not getting much traction thanks to the floor being recently waxed.

Tobi looked back over his shoulder at what Jason was doing. He pushed himself up and then moved to go help push the ottoman over to the case. "Yew needs halp, then I c'n get warm." He nodded a bit and pushed, finding that he had better traction from the rubber pads on his socks.

Smiling a little when Tobi came over to help, they pushed the ottoman over to the case and once it was situated, the boy made his way onto the mass of fabric, wood and what have you. "Awright.." Jason murmurs to himself as he grabs the side of the case and hoists himself into a standing position. "Yew want all of dem?" He asks, looking down at the other.

Jason nodded, carefully opening the large glass case and grabbing the furthest figurine first and handing it down to Tobi. "One.." He started to count, going up one number with each one until all of them were out of the case, "Dere we go!" He grins as he slides off of the ottoman and back onto the floor.

Eyes widening as he saw the phoenix, he grinned and carefully took it. "Mah Daddy has a pet feenix, his name is Russel." Jason smiles a little as he pets the little figure, making his way back over to the fire and sitting down.

"Yer daddeh has a REEL feenix?" Tobi's eyes widened in surprise. "Cristofer said they weren't reel." His mouth formed a frown, and he adopted a suspicious look. "Yew not lyin', ar yew?" The frown turned into a menacing look. Tobias did not do well with lies.

"Yews part feenix?" Tobi reached up to pat Jason's hair again, as if that would solve the mystery. He patted his head a few times before sitting down again, still looking suspicious. "Mebbe. Don't laik lies. Be'er nawt be lyin'." His cheeks puffed up a bit. He looked down to his figurines and picked out the peregrine falcon figurine. "Wanna rayss?"

"I pwomis! I aint lyin! Momma has a pecture of Russel on her shoolder in her bag!" Jason says, getting flustered that the other didn't believe him. It was frustrating for him, seeing as he played with his 'counterpart' every day.

"How come I ne'er even seen one on the tv animal channels?" Tobi abandoned the falcon and folded his arms across his chest. "If der's a feenix it shud be on the tv." He nodded a bit, it seemed like a logical explanation. Christopher had introduced him to the tv a few weeks earlier and had told him that on the animal channels, they had every animal in the world. As of yet, he had not seen a Phoenix.

"He's majiks?" Tobi tilted his head to one side. "Do it. I wanna see." Tobi kept his arms folded across his chest in a most skeptical manner. He had yet to see a parent do anything spectacular, so why should Jason's parents be anything special?
