"Roger, we're in the cafeteria!" Shi yelled over the plasma fire, "Kaz, take the 5 on the right, I'll take the other 5."
"Understood." They rolled out of cover and countered the cake hogs. 2 overturned the tables and took cover behind them, 1 hid behind a pillar in front of the 2, then the last two started to run for more reinforcements. I pulled out 2 plasmas and 1 frag. I threw one plasma on to one of the fleeing elites, killing both since they were running shoulder to shoulder. I tried to throw the rest behind the table, but the pain returned to my right arm, so the grenades landed in front of the table. When they exploded, the table smashed into the 2 elites, knocking them out. Then last shot me in the left leg and I fell. I laid still, but alive.

Galain wake up hearing rustling in the Medical Bay. "Jeez, another patrol? I thought they already searched the place." Powering most of his systems back on, he hear some gunfire coming from nearby. "Reinforcements?" As the IFF radar boots up, he sees a friendly blimp in the Medical bay. Turning on the Com, "Hello?"

Galain shifts from his hiding place to look at the lone Spartan in Medical Bay. "A survivior, but it doesn't look he's from my unit." Seeing that it is safe Gal comes out the medical storage unit that he had been hiding in. "Be right with you, Soldier." As Galain walks over to the Spartan, he sees the wound on the Spartan's thigh. Galain's training kicks in and his mind startsdiagnosing. "Looks like a plasma burn." Galain accesses the Spartan's bioscans, and sets up a drop shield near the Spartan. "The shield will stablize you, but it's going to take more than that to get you going again." Gal takes one of his "special cocktails" out of his med-satchel, and administers it to the Spartan. "This won't help with pain much, but it'll speed up the healing process." Gal finishes treating wound with some biofoam and stands back to look over the Spartan.

Dev looks at the medic and taps his tacpad looking at the map and scans of the base, it's finally clear. "Thanks Doc. Shi I heard you i'll be waiting in the med bay." Dev taps the tacpad to connect with the PA systems and then gives this message. "Everyone Spartans have cleared the base a few covenant are left over, the one with Shi is a friend please take the rest to the bio cells." After Dev was done he layed back on the medical table and fell asleep.

Galain goes back to retrieve his Assult rifle from the supply locker that he had hid. "I figured reinforcements would come sooner or later. I hope they aren't as banged up as this one." After retrieving his rifle, Gal returns to the sleeping Spartan only to see another Spartan and Elite, and wake the other Spartan. After a reflexive twich to rise his AR at the Elite, Galain remembers what was said over the PA, and lowers his weapon. "I'm Galain, Combat Medic. I'm guessing you're the reinforcements. Where is the rest of your unit?"

Dev woke up and saw that Gal and Shi were talking to each other, so he snuck out to the cafeteria using active camo to get some food and to get ready to set up a meeting for all troops on the base knowing that Gal would want him to stay there. He connected to the PA system when he was close to the cafeteria. "All units please report to the cafeteria for an important meeting, repeat all units to the cafeteria for an important meeting.

"Agreed, time to eat something." Shi said while following Gal to the Cafeteria. When they got there Shi took a seat next to Gal and Kaz took a seat next to Shi. Soon the room started to fill up with the remaining soliders and even some of the wounded. Many looked nervously at Kaz, keeping their guns next to them. Then the cafeteria started to settle down to listen what Dev had to say.
