One of the other things I was thinking about was time skip.
I'm not sure what to do. I think this one will have to be a group choice. It would be nice to mix it up and I didn't say it had to stay a school RP. I'm going to stay one minded on it.

hmm, I agree multiple subforums would be cluttered...but Im not sure I like a whole other guild. Then the members could only be those who were in this guild...
What about keeping it in the Parallel universe? or change the out of universe to a time skip?

Members of the other guild wouldn't have to be the same and that's the beauty of it. We're opening up the rest of the world Reed's resides in so characters from the school can get spouses/love-interests from off grounds. The parallel and other universe subforums, while not yet in use, do serve a purpose and will be utilized as I crank out more Star Events.
Rai had expressed he didn't want it to be a time jump but rather incorporated into the natural progression of characters.

My thing is that we would jump until all the students were done with school. I rather not jump in the middle of it. That way everyone is done in school and then jump so their kids are in.
I'm interested in what everyone thinks so Lets our choices:
Change Alt Universe
New Guild/Sister Guild
New Subforums
And of course Nothing
What I think:
Change Alt Universe: 1 Con
-This one is like a temp. choice. We would still end up with another subforum.
New Guild/Sister Guild: 6 Pros, 5 Cons
-Have guilds
-Have the guilds with money
-Expansion of universe
-Have a guild with enough Subforums
-Don't have to spend money/Gold
-More organized and more room for RPing
-Who will help manage it? New VC's? The Current?
-Time to do it
-Help on getting everything set up
-Finishing before School starts again.
-What will happen when I get a job
New Subforums: 1 Con
-Cluttered guild
And of course Nothing: 1 Big Con
-No a people guild where the guild listens.

New guild response:
-Current select VCs can crew it for the beginning until new members join and can assume responsibilities
-Rai seems to have it all figured out so really it's a matter of when he can orchestrate its creation
-For willing current VCs who would be interested, they can be recruited to help set up
-You don't necessarily have to be Captain of both guilds. If Rai wants to head up the Off Island things then he should to help distribute the weight of duties.

Being caption isn't really a big deal for me. I just don't think I'll have time to complete it and fully run it. That's what VC are for I guess, but it's like picking up the weight.
I think one of things that will help is that people can make their own threads so if they don't like that something isn't there they can make one.
As soon as at least two more VC's weigh and agree I'll start getting the new guild idea going.

The Pros definietly outweigh the cons (if there are any cons left)

Okay 13 subforums. Now what do we want to do with them? Take a look. I think: 1. Capital City 2. Western Woods 3. Eastern Plains For three. But do we want a profile subforum for this.

Yes for Profile Subforum. It'd be nice if we could then have one thread per RPer rather than one thread per character. Then, whenever a character is created, the name and link to the thread will be sent to whoever is keeping up the directory (if there is one).
Perhaps break the City up into a Merchants District, Residential District, Entertainment District, and a Night/Red-Light District (for all the, eh, adult locations).
