I rarely watch tv. I just download episodes, or we buy the box sets of seasons.
That way, we only watch what we want to, with no commercials.

That's because the shows are shitty, and the commercials suck.
Sports fans are the main the reason tv is still around.

I really don't understand what the big draw is to watching sports on TV, the only thing I watch for sports is the winter games and even then normally only hockey. I watched more last year just because I wanted to see how badly Vancouver screwed it up but normally I just watch the Canada vs US match.

Other than when my dad took me to local hockey games, the only hockey game I've watched fully was the last Olympic hockey game.
