There was no way Poison could attack with so much coming at him. He lept backwards, deciding that retreating into the light blue pool behind him was the only way to avoid the attack.
The human in him was struggling with how dangerous just jumping into unknown chemicals was. The Blood in him, however, had no problem at all with jumping into the chemicals.

A moment later, Poison disappeared into the pool of liquid.

The violent bubbling was indeed a result of Titan's heat based attack, though not in the way he thought it was.
The pool Poison had jumped into was created for the U.E.'s Blood creatures, as well as other experiments they gave Blood-based powers to. It was made to strengthen the beings thick, almost armor-like skin. For a human, it would give them greater durability. For a Blood being, it would give them an almost armor-like skin.
If heated, the chemical reaction would amplify the process ten fold. Though Titan was unaware of it, the longer Poison stayed in the pool, and the hotter he made the pool....the more invulnerable Poison's outer being became.

The only real plus side from this, was that Poison could still feel the heat. And he did indeed begin to get burned from the chemical reaction. Unable to stay under any longer, he found the bottom of the pool and launched himself upward, trying to get to the surface (or higher) as quickly as he could.

/// lol. Honestly, it was the only thing I could do for Poison to NOT die. With everything Titan was throwing at him, plus the immunity to his poison, my poor guy was out gunned. XP ///



Poison finally emerged from the bottom of the pool, and let out a nasty hiss as he gasped for air. He spotted Titan on the side of the pool, and let out a mess of tendrils towards the roof to pull himself out of the pool. He swung himself to the other side of the pool and resumed a defensive crouch.
He kept his eyes trained on the symbiote, and relaxed very slightly to see that his sharp arsenal was gone.

/// I have plans for Poison later on. He has ties to one of my other characters, so I can't just let him get cut to bits. XP ///


Poison growled as the beast charged towards him. He waited for just the right moment, then lept upwards to try and avoid the charge. He let another round of tendrils loose on the ceiling to yank himself up higher in case the creature tried to attack him with his arms while he was in mid-air.

/// Well, the place where Greed and them smashed through is still open. ;3 The air-tight sealed doors are more located around the areas they'd be holding Blood experiments and other stuff they don't wan ANYTHING getting into.

....although, thinking about it now, Poison might be able to die. You know what. Yeah. Go ahead and try to kill him. See what happens then. twisted ///


Poison watched the symbiote take to the air as well and let out a frustrated growl. It seemed like he just couldn't get the upperhand at all. With another growl, he yanked himself towards the ceiling before his opponent got to him. He then shot tendrils towards the bottom of the wall across from him to yank himself towards Titan.
As he came towards him, he made the tendrils release the walls and turned them on Titan to try and take hold of his arms. All he planned to do was...well...a bit of the same as before. Claw, stab, punch, release acid on it.

Poison missed his target and landed once again on the other side of the pool. He spun around to face his opponent, only to find him gone. The creature hissed and lept upwards to chase after the symbiote.


As the last of the symbiotes within the room either slithered away or were blasted, Charlemagne ceased fire and carefully surveyed the room. Once she was sure there was nothing else alive, she hurried off to look into the hallway. Or....what was left of it. She'd have to make a mental note to tweak the gun a bit more so that it didn't destroy anything metal next time.

Deadpool ceased firing as well and took a careful look around the room. He seen something moving down the hallway, and aimed his gun as the huge figure came into the light more. Charlot glanced down the hallway, then shot her arm up in front of Deadpool.
"Don't shoot. That's one of ours." she growled. She was still pretty damn angry about the whole situation.

Poison halted in the hallway and looked the two up and down. Recognizing at least one of them as something he shouldn't harm, he relaxed and sank into a crouched position.

Repressing a rather huge urge to sigh, the woman turned back towards where the original Deadpool should still be. She'd need to get things settled out here, make sure there were absolutely no other symbiotes left in the complex, get their little genie to fix this portion of the building and get rid of the tunnel system around here, then find Octavious and explain to him everything that he probably seen through the glass walls before the security system kicked in. Oh, she'd need to shut that off too. Ugh. What a migraine this was. Steps would need to be made to ensure something like this DID NOT happen again.

Charlemagne stared at him for a beat, then closed her eyes and let out a long sigh...simply trying to force herself to relax. "Alright." she said slowly, to the "ultimate" version beside her. "I need you to go around and double check that we don't have anything hiding under any furniture or anything."

"Can't you just get Patches to do it?"

"He'll have enough to do cleaning up the majority of this mess."

"And he can't just do a little sweep while he goes all hocus-pocus in here?"

"Do you want him complaining that we ask too much out of him? Or perhaps you'd rather go bug Hoshi to do it."

Deapool paused for a beat. "Fine. After I talk to my supposed-"

"STILL...not. The. Time."

"I'm not going to get to at all, am I?" he said in more of a statement than a question.

"Probably not. Now go."

Deadpool paused another moment, his body language clear that he didn't like the new little chore. He glanced into the room at his universal double, then grumbled something and turned to march down the hallway, dragging his still smoking toy behind him.

Charlot watched him a moment, then glanced over at the large green creature. "Watch him for a bit. Make sure he doesn't try to sneak back up here."

The creature let out a low growl, then turned and stalked after the other man.

Charlot massaged the side of her temple and let out another sigh. Really, why was he such a headache sometimes...

Turning, she walked back into the room where Deadpool was and tried to straighten herself out a bit. She was used to her business outfit being nice and not...well...like she'd just gotten into a fight.

Charlemagne stopped and blinked for a second before turning towards him as he walked out. "You really don't want anything in return for your help? Weapons? Money?" she asked.
