"Dont blame yourself it was also my fault for not leaving as well. It could have happened at any time no matter where I was. I was able to get away because you helped. If you hadn't been there I don't know what I would have done. I mean I dont think I've ever seen such a brave move as leaping straight at a crocodile. So dont say such depressing things such as leaving when you've been such a big help. Besides, I dont understand why yet, but I would be very sad if you left." Kaname told her scooting ever so slowly over to nuzzle her cheek.

Himeko turned a dark red, smiling softly when he nuzzled her, nudging him very briefly. 'H-He nuzzled me!' Her mind was doing back flips while her outer appearance merely blushed and nodded, eyes flicking as she smiled at the fox she had a crush on. "R-Really? I'm a help?" She couldn't help but stutter, flattered by the males words. Her tail flipped several times, nodding finally and smiling wider.
"I'll stay then, well, until you go home of course." She settled with, checking her friends leg. Hopefully he'd heal safely. Oh! He said she was brave! Wow, of all the things to call the shy female, brave was something she didn't realize was possible!

“Yes, you were a lot of help. I know you don’t like the dark and you ran all the way back to get Horus” Kaname smiled titling his head to the side. Himeko’s blush and stuttering was kind of cute. He shook his head to clear his thoughts. This was hardly the time and place to be thinking about such things. “ah yes I would like that very much, you staying” he smiled.
“And you moved…” Horus sighed with a comical type glare as he walked into the room. He wanted to give them more time together but he also didn’t want Kaname to bled to death. As he walked over he shook his head and looked down at the wound. With his mouth he slowly moved along a small little jar filled with a sort of paste looking thing and another dish with long strips of cloth. Using his paw he scooped up a small bit of paste to put on the wound.

Himeko smiled, nodding at him in response, unable to respond other than smile. He was happy with her! When Horus arrived she took a step back to make room for him, tilting her head to the side and watching the process. Her tail flipped about, smiling as she patiently waited for the process to be over. Where would Kaname sleep though? He couldn't fly back yet, he was probably tired.
"Where will Kaname sleep? Will he be returning home?"

“I don’t want to risk coming across and other predators tonight so I think we’ll just sleep here and then venture out in the morning. The tribe should be able to handle itself a few hours” Horus pointed out rubbing the paste on the wound. He watched as Kaname predictably hissed. After it was nicely covered he began slowly and carefully started covering the wound in the cloths. Concentrating he let a little of his magic into the wound to speed up the healing process.
Kaname smiled back at Himeko and went back at hissing at what Horus was doing. He didn’t think it would hurt that much. He didn’t remember it hurting so much when his own parents healed him from the various scraps and bruises he and Horus got as a kid. Then again Horus had different training than Kaname. “Sleeping here sounds okay. It was a main temple so there should be a place for foxes to sleep as well”

Himeko nodded at the two, stepping back towards the opening of the temple. "Well, you look tired so I should head back so you can sleep." She said. Oh, what would it be like curled up next to him at night sleeping beside him? Her cheeks flushed at this thought, eyes flicking away. Seriously, what was she thinking? Though, it did get cold at night... No! Hollow would worry. Though Hollow often snuck off to see Katsu. Sometimes Himeko wondered why Hollow even stayed with Kemet if she hated it so much.
"Unless I should stay and watch over him?" She whispered hopefully.

Horus looked over to the side like he was thinking about this rationally but in fact what he was doing was hiding a rather evil smirk. “Well that was the plan. If we want Kaname to get better soon you need to be next to him” there his evil plan of getting people together was starting. It did ring true because staying with carers did help you heal unnaturally fast. “I have to check the rest of the temple so you two just get comfortable”
Kaname smiled back at his long time friend and kept most emotion out of his face. Oh he was going to kill the guy. Check the temple was just a ruse Kaname knew full well checking all the temples was probably one of the first things he did when Horus got back to kemet. He looked over at himeko and blushed a bit glad his face had a lot of red and hide the blush. It wasn’t like he didn’t want Himeko to stay. It was just safer to Kill horus for being tricky.

Himeko didn't think of Horus's probable plot, nodding instead with a slight blush. "Y-Yes! I'll make sure he's safe. She said, nodding to her Elder before moving just a little closer to Kaname, but not to close. Her tail kept a barrier between them so Kaname wouldn't feel awkward next to her. She was cold, so her tail moved around her body and she curled into herself, blue eyes looking at the ground.
"If you need anything I can get it for you." Himeko said to Kaname, tilting her muzzled into her tail to reserve warmth.

Kaname looked over at Himeko and smiled at the fact she didnt seem to see the plotting of her elder. "Nothing much, I'm pretty fine right about now" Kaname told her. He then leaned forward and rest his head on his paws. "Thank you again for everything. Your sister is probably going to kill me for this but this evening meant a lot. I think, no I'm pretty sure I really like you Himeko" he told her.

]Himeko was caught off guard, blinking as she glanced over his way. He liked her? As a friend, right? Her heart skipped a beat, eyes flashing a quick and fleeting emotion of helplessness. He liked her? How? She... she liked him a lot. She wanted to say it, she wanted to say she liked him a whole lot. She wanted to be his girlfriend, to be blunt. But how could she say that? What if he was just saying he liked her as a friend?
"O-Oh. So...were good friends, right?" Her voice cracked, eyes looking away.

Kaname smiled and laughed a bit before sobering up. "yes I would say we are good friends but my parents always said you need that basis before you go any further. I was talking about a slightly different like Himeko"" Kaname stated glad actually that Horus had decided to leave the room.

Her heart hammered faster, eyes widening and mouth opening in a small 'o' shape. She was going to burst into tiny bits if this kept up. The heat to her cheeks rose, nearly burning. Had she fallen asleep? Had she died? Oh, that was it, this was heaven, wasn't it? This was the only place someone like Kaname would say this to her.
Well, in heaven she could indulge, right?
"I-I...I like you a lot...too." She whispered, ears lowered and eyes watching Kaname, as if he was about to smile and say "April Fools".

Kaname lightly smiled and looked up from his paws to aim the smile at her. He leaned forward again and licked her on the cheek before moving back. Suddenly something occurred to him and he laughed. “You know it’s probably a good thing your sister doesn’t seem to be around. I think I would have more to fear from her than that crocodile. Ah well what’s life with out a bit of adventure” Kaname chuckled.

Himeko turned a dark red at the lick, giggling gently at the remark. She was sure Hollow would tear Kaname apart if she ever found out about Himeko sneaking out to spend time with Kaname. And she already had guessed about Himeko's crush on him and was not amused at all by this. Though, Himeko would often point out her sisters recent choice in men, Katsu, which would quieten her immediately.
"Yes, but she really is nice. She's just over protective at times." Hollow was kind. She had a rough personality, but she had been there for Himeko. She had protected her. When there was hardly any food she'd give Himeko hers. She joined Kemet even though she never wanted to.
A cold shiver went up the females spine, caught by the draft that had rushed through the temple. She curled into a tight ball, resting her paws and head on top of her tail, shuddering once more. Though she did not dare get closer to Kaname, cheeks blushing even more at that thought.
'He likes me... what does that mean? Does that mean were...?'

"I totally understand. Siblings should be close, but even the best and gentlest of family members will be tough against any one their family ends up with because they hope for them to be the best" Kaname stated.
He cocked his head to the side noticing she seemed to be a bit chilled. He knew however if he moved closer to her to share his own body warmth she would probably die from too much blushing. However there was a way to block off some of the cold with out moving closer. It was one of the many perks of having a 15 ft wingspan. He lifted one wing up and lightly draped it over her to block out some of the night air. "that a bit better?" he asked.
