jewel blinks swallowing and carefuly walks over to the room, shadow pointed out as she turn around " ... w-why are y-you been nice to me...?" as she blinks looking around the room " y-you normaly.. kill any slave that eggman doens't want... right..I've seen how you treat the others....." jewel shivers staying still { I dunno if anyone knows this or not, but jewel isn't wearing shoes xD so she doesn't make alot of noise when she walks down the metal halls}

"Why? You want to die?" Shadow stood up, "You don't seem grateful, are you? Always asking me why I let you stay here instead of rotting out there with the maggots. If you don't want to be here then say so, and I'll end it quick. If not, shut it or my annoyance level will overwhelm me, got it?!"

jewels fur stands up as she shouts " N-no! I dont' want to die" jewel still shivers having her head down slightly wanting to cry but is trying not to

"Then...again, don't ask anymore." Shadow said, as he looked away to look through the window. His arms crossed and looking relaxed for the moment, Shadow just sits as if he was in deep thought.

jewels ears go down as she moves back words into the room that shadow said was hers as she sits on the bed, and blinks she's been sleeping on the floor for awhile now she had almost forgot how soft a bed was as she lays down on it curling up with the pillow

Ryaku dodged the explosion but During the commotion, he lost sight of jewel and shadow. "damn it, what a coward" He went into hiding and waited till everything calmed down

Shadow sighed and started walking out of the room. He headed to the throne.
"So... did you get rid of her?" Eggman asked.
"No..."
"Hmph... so unlike you. This is too sudden..."
"She could be useful..."

jewle had sat up when she heard shadow move, as she hugs the pillow watching him leave the room, as she getsup and looks around his room mostly at a gem sitting on a self " oo.. whats that" jewle asked herself walking over to it just staring at it " I better not touch it.... " jewel frowns holding her pillow while she stares at the green chaos emerald in shadows part of the room as she turns around and blinks looking at the door. as she walks over to it sticking her head out " I wanna run .. b-but... I'll be killed for sure if I do..."

Shadow frowned, "Hmph..." He starts heading back to his room.

egg robo's are scaning the halls for the blue slave hedgehog that was just brought in as jewel goes back in shadows room when she seen one coming down the hall as it stops, and scans shadows room as jewel hides in the small room holding her breath as it beeps slightly and moves on not finding a match. " I though it was that blue robot again... " jewel whimpers hiding by her bed

Shadow walked in his room. He closed the door and sighed, "Tch..." He then looked towards Jewel's room, "You can stop hiding..."

Spike rests by a tree and lowers his guard enough that he is no longer invisable,suddenly he hears a noise off in the distance and quickle assends the tree he was leaning aginst to to see if he can find where the noise came from at the same time hopeing that he was not seen

"Nothing." Shadow said, "Tell me... what is your name?" He looked at Jewel. He never knew her name since she became a slave. Shadow always thought slaves should never have a name to begin with.

jewel blinks tilting her head no one has ever asked what her name was before. " uh.. Jewel... jewel the hedgehog.. is the name my mother gave me..." jewel looks over at the wall looking at the chaos emerald wanting to ask what it is but doesn't
