Nalira let out a cold laugh, quirking an eyebrow. "I started this? I beg to differ. I wasn't the one who threatened to shove the other's head in a pile of snow, now, was I?"
She smirked triumphantly, moving forward and placing her arm on Aido's shoulder."Let's go and get warm."

"You began it with your taunts, I merely retailated with the materials that were at hand," Aido replied stiffly, with just a hint of a smile.
Still, her head bobbed her head in agreement to the suggestion of getting warm and she stood again, "mhmm, let's." Her stomach growled restlessly, reminding her that she'd barely eaten that day and she laughed, "and get some food while we're at it, ne?"

Nalira nodded, smiling to herself. "I hope they can cook as good at Syrie. When Khia invited me over to dinner, Syrie made the most .." Nalira hesitated, mentally kicking herself.

Aido's eyes slid towards Nalira and she quirked an eyebrow, "oh-ho? Invited you to dinner, eh, Na~la? And you said I was getting close to someone, but lookit, you've already been introduced to the father of the house!"

Nalira groaned, glaring at Aido.
"It's not like that. I mean, Khia is nice, and cares for me, and I like him .. I mean, no, that came out wrong. Er .. oh, come on, he's one of my best friend's, it's platonic. Platonic, damnit!" She whined, looking over to Aido with teary, anime-eyes, pouting.

"Mhmmm.... you liike him, it's platonic, rightright," Aido replied, her slightly evil grin evident in her voice and not at all fazed by the eyes. After all, she had two brothers, both who, at some point, had been younger than her. She was immune and very thankful for it.

Nalira hissed, crossing her arms over her chest. She snorted, rolling her eyes, shifting her gaze to glare at Aido.
"Yeah, well .. atleast I didn't cry on him. See? See? You're relationship is totally un-platonic. You like Linneas, just admit it!" She taunted, nudging Aido in the side, gently.

Aido giggled at the hissing then flushed again as suddenly the tables turned.
"But-I... I'm allowed to cry on people if I want to," she replied weakly, crossing her arms and pouting, ignoring the little voice in the back of her head that said yes, but you don't.
She looked to the ground, and pawed at her scarf, "and I never said I didn't like him..." she muttered.

Nalira hesitated, staring at Aido, blinking. Well, that was totally unexpected. She coughed into her hand awkwardly, sniffing. Aido did like Linneas? This was certainly getting interesting.
"Wait .. you do? Oh." She stated lamely, clearing her throat.

Aido felt a tinge of pride as Nalira seemed to be rendered nearly speachless.
"Sortof... kindof... I mean..." she laughed weakly and pondered a coverup, "I like all my friends, I like you and Khia and Angelus... I'm just.. really comfortable around him."
Confession, if it could even be called that, done, Aido wondered how badly she'd just doomed herself and attempted to return to a safer topic, "erm, anyway, let's go to that cafe eh?!" she said with a little too much enthusiasm.

Nalira smiled, placing a hand on her friend's shoulder once more, moving forward through the snow.
"Yeah, let's go eat. Don't worry Aido, your secret's safe with me .. " She grinned, coughing into her hand and springing forward happily. Truth be told, she probably should have shared a secret crush with Aido, it was only fair, afterall. But, right now, she didn't know what she was feeling for Khia, or for anyone for that matter.
"Let's go!" She exclaimed happily.

Aido smiled a tiny smile which pulled into a grin, "yeah... let's go!" She ran forward a bit and yelped as Rael, pushed between her legs and hoisted her onto his back.
"Owo... Rael...couldn't you have warned me you were going to do that?" she grumbled, rubbing at her rear.
-Didn't feel like it,- Rael replied simply and trotted over to Nalira.

Nalira giggled under her breath, swinging her leg once more over Rael. She let out a sharp breath as she moved forward, grabbing onto Aido's shoulders for balance.
"I'm going to be a pro at this by the end of the day." Nalira murmered, shaking her head and leaning her head against Aido's back.

Aido chuckled and nodded, leaning the back of her head against the top of Nalira's as she wrapped her hands in the shadows of Rael's fur.
Beneath them Rael moved into a fast trot then a run, apparently the Shadow was dead set on actually getting them to the cafe this time.
