angelmage99 Imhotep touches the baby's hand gently. He smiled back. Even if he couldn't be a real father to the child he still approved on the halfling child. "She looks strong. She reminds me of my mother." The man commented smiling Enni watches "she is strong as a ox as her doctor put it all though once in awhile she'll cry if you bring her near bright light or outside during sunny days that is why I kept her blanket over her completely till we were in the dungeons "Enni remarks watching them as the baby catches his hand and gums on it playfully like most babies do .

Imhotep smiled before stepping away from the entrance like he was going to kidnap her. He pulled her into his chambers. Inside was his extra large coffin. It could probably fit an average family. "If she has issues with the sun then she should be living down here." He commented as he placed her in his coffin.

"true but it did not burn her only made her cry that's why I keep her covered and my little brother Roris sewed her a a blanket for in the stroller to shield her from the sunlight plus she's still to young to leave her mothers side "she informs him laughing abit .

Imhotep was too prideful to admit that she was right about the fact the baby was too young to live down in the dungeons and it was far too dangerous for her mother to stay. He moved the hair from his daughters face. The man smiled. "I guess so. But if it gets bad please bring her here aright away."

"ofcourse you know that and when ever you want I will bring her to visit and at night your more then welcomed to come visit us even I enjoy your company "she teases abit as the baby giggles quietly up at him .

"smiling dont worry to much you think three of her Dijinn family will not protect her well we are stronger then you think especially if my twin brother's been feeding himself again "she remarks watching Imhotep and the baby interact Basima now yawning and looking sleepily up at them.

Imhotep nodded as he sat in his coffin with his daughter next to him. "I know, but it can not be known that she is my daughter there are a lot of issues that would come up. I don't want her to be in the crosshairs of it." He commented back.

"I will keep her quiet children are much more secretive then most think"Enni replies now watching him " do you want her and I to stay abit longer or start heading out it will be sundown soon Roris is outside you scare my little brother abit but then again most things scare him"she states questioning .

✿ How Many Degrees Can I Get ✿ The sound of voices pulled her from her thoughts, and the blonde looked about for the source of the noise. Down here, it was harder to track the source of noises, but still possible. The sharp voice of the Vampire Lord rang out, instructing fledglings to move away. She puzzled over the word a moment, remembering being told it's meaning, before finally the scene with Suzy came to mind. Ah! Yes, that was right; fledglings were those younger than ten years. Certainly not her, then. Searching the source of the voices, Asta stops abruptly when the voices stop and a door closes. Well, there went that potential source of information. She hadn't really caught too many words, and now went back to wandering about randomly.
Not too much later, the door opened once again, the sound easily picked up by her enhanced hearing. Turning in the direction of the voices, she comes face to face with a solid stone wall. A frown appeared on her features, hands coming to rest on her hips in displeasure. Well, that was a problem. Turning to the left, she continued her journey through the maze.

Imhotep turned back towards his chambers after the girl and baby had left. He was affectionate to the child only, but he could never open his heart to her. She would never be accepted in his world and she could only be used as a pawn if anyone found out about him being a spy. What side did Len really think he was on. He turned and notice one of the vampiress walk away. He walked up and around the corner before he pulled her back with his hands. "What do you think you're doing? What did you hear?" He hissed at her. Wondering what she knew.
